About
On WeddingWire since 2014
Your wedding is the inauguration of your life as a couple. This happens in the presence of your family, relatives, and friends; in short, the people that matter the most to you in this life. The memory of this day will live on in your heart and memories, and that of your loved ones, for a lifetime. Here are some suggestions as you plan this day:
- Make your wedding a celebration and not a production; it should be natural and organic. Think of a big family meal. You want to set a beautiful table, and you want delicious food on the table, but ultimately, what matters is who is at the table and not what is on the table.
- Your wedding ceremony should be authentic. It should reflect both your values and beliefs. My experience as an Air Force Chaplain and a lifetime of experience working with couples of different faiths and beliefs will ensure your celebration is personal and authentic.
- You will be meeting with various professionals as you plan your big day. Consider asking these people: “If this was your wedding, what would you do with (the music, photography, cake, catering, ceremony, etc)?" These professionals have done thousands of weddings in their careers, and if you ask them for their suggestions, they’ll come up with creative ideas you may never have thought of on your own.
- Don't let cost be your sole consideration. If you required dental work, would you select the cheapest dentist you could find? Knowledge and experience matter in all professional services. Read reviews and look for recurring themes in review comments.
In our initial Wedding Planning Session, I will work with you both to design your wedding celebration and assist you in obtaining your Marriage License before the wedding and Marriage Certificates after the wedding. Since I am based in Palm Springs, there is no Travel Fee for weddings in La Quinta, Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells and the Coachella Valley, Temecula Wineries, and all of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
Please get in touch with me to schedule our initial no-cost/no obligation Wedding Planning Session today. Congratulations, and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness.
