I met Father Geoff at a previous wedding I coordinated for one of my past clients. After being present at the ceremony, I knew I wanted Father Geoff to officiate and bless our marriage ceremony as well. Since the moment we were engaged, we both knew we wanted an outdoor ceremony and having it blessed and officiated by a Catholic priest was very important to both of us. Father Geoff was able to check off those boxes. To top it off, he was able to officiate our wedding ceremony in both English and Spanish which was very important to my fiancé and I since his side of the family are English speakers and my side of the family are Spanish speakers only. Father Geoff held multiple phone meetings with us to make sure we were comfortable with everything and gave us flexibility on customizing our ceremony. He never tried to force anything on us which I absolutely loved. I was always able to email and text/call him whenever I had a question I was overthinking. After our wedding ceremony, many of our guests let us know how much they enjoyed the ceremony and how beautiful it was. I would definitely recommend Father Geoff! When it came to our officiant, my spouse and I knew we wanted a thoughtful professional, someone who had put time and effort into crafting a meaningful wedding ceremony. Father Geoff was polite, professional and personable throughout the entirety of our wedding experience with him. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough and ensured we knew exactly what to expect and what was needed from us to ensure an easy wedding day/ ceremony that lived up to our expectations. He dedicated time to customize our ceremony to ensure it included all the important aspects we were looking for. We had quite a few wedding guests remark on how great of a ceremony we had and how they very much enjoyed Father Geoff's words on love and marriage.
It was a such a relieve being able to walk down the aisle with my only concern being not to trip! I didn't have any worries about the ceremony being conducted correctly or the officiant making any mistakes. All of our guests at our wedding said that Fr. Geoff created one of the best ceremonies they had ever been to. Many people were raving about his sermon. He was very easy to work with -- he has many ceremony options to choose from if you'd like a cookie cutter ceremony, or if you'd like something a little bit different, like us, he will conform. Fr. Geoff was also incredibly helpful with information about marriage licenses and certificates. He gave us all of the information we needed (and then some!) To us, he was worth the fee just for that alone, as we were an out of state couple with no experience with any of this! Thanks Fr. Father Farrow Made Our Wedding Super Special!
We absolutely love Father Farrow! The entire process was super easy. He helped us plan the ceremony, gave us great ideas that made things even more special, and hit our hearts with his words. Our guests loved hanging out with him at the reception. He is a super interesting guy. Fr. Geoff was a wonderful officiant for us two interfaith husbands
My husband and I are happy we hired Father Geoff Farrow to officiate our wedding (May 2024 in Santa Ana). Although I'm not religious, my husband and his family are Catholic, so it was important to us to have a Catholic-style ceremony. Fr. Geoff provided a great one! And even before the wedding day, he was very professional and helpful in explaining the process for the ceremony and the wedding license, both on an initial phone call shortly after we hired him and another call shortly before the big day. We also appreciate that he emailed us on the first business day after our wedding to provide a tracking number for the mailing of the marriage license. Fr. I can't say enough about how wonderful Father Geoff is, and what a positive influence he had over our wedding experience. From our first introduction, through to prepping for the ceremony, to the big day itself, Father Geoff was really the constant reminder for both my husband and I of what the day is really about. Beyond being an incredible advisor through this process, his communication was super clear, concise, and always ahead of schedule. On the day itself, his ceremony was perfect beginning to end. My husband and I got married on February 19th 2021. Having a catholic priest to officiate our wedding was important to us and thankfully we found father Geoff. He was great to work with in the planning, especially when it came to postponements due to the pandemic, he still stuck by our side. When the day finally came he was so organized in achieving everything we discussed and his words for the wedding are words we will live by throughout our marriage. He was informative about the marriage license and certificate and an overall great person. I recommend him to everyone and anyone. -

We really appreciated that Fr Geoff provided very detailed, clear and thorough reminders of any marriage documentation we needed to complete! He always provided detailed & clear reminder emails to keep us on track. The cultural ceremony he provided was exactly what we were looking for!
However, Fr Geoff struggles to adapt & remember any choices for the ceremony that are not in his “typical template” for a ceremony.
Since our the beginning at our first meeting & at our final meeting we explained to Fr Geoff that we would NOT be having any bridesmaids or groomsmen. It would just be us (Bride & Groom) standing up on the alter. He noted this and listened to our plan.
On the big day —- father Geoff created extra stress for us by telling the groom he NEEDED to have a best man up at the altar. Fr Geoff told the brother of the bride it was REQUIRED for him to stand next to the groom at the altar as a witness.
During planning meetings he also advised us to have the ring bearers, not carry the actual rings instead to have the best man carry the rings. We again told him there’s no best man, so the groom would hold the rings to keep them safe. On the big day — Fr Geoff told the groom this was a bad idea for the groom to hold the rings and again tried to convince him to have a best man (that didn’t exist hold the rings!)
The remainder of the ceremony went as planned. It was nice, but the unnecessary stress really could’ve been avoided if Father Geoff had paid attention during our meetings.A Journey Of Two Hearts's reply:

I think there was a misunderstanding. I've officiated many weddings over the past 38 years with zero bridesmaids and groomsmen; one couple recently wanted to omit a ring exchange from their ceremony, and I happily accommodated them. This is your wedding, and you are entitled to configure it to fit your personal preferences and family realities.
The only conversation on your wedding day revolved around the seating of Telson's parents. Typically, the parents of the bride and groom are seated in the first row at the center aisle. Some other people took those seats, and I asked Telson if he would like his parents to sit in those seats. He responded that they were already seated in the back. I didn't press the matter further.
I do not recall discussing ring bearers or the Best Man on the wedding day. The discussions about these items you mentioned in your review were held in our wedding planning session. I think you've confused these with the events of the wedding day. I'd be happy to speak with you both if you'd like to speak further. Every other review I've received has been a 5-star review, and it is distressing to me that you were displeased with my services.
