About

85mm Photography is a highly skilled wedding photography team serving all of Minnesota, particularly Minneapolis, Duluth, and St. Cloud. We utilize special posing techniques to ensure that everyone looks their best. We are constantly studying and practicing new methods to ensure that our couples receive the best images we are able to deliver.

We have been photographing weddings for over 7 years, and have developed a very classic and timeless style. While photography trends change rapidly, we want our couples to be able to view their photos in 20 years and still love them. We pay special attention to posing, particularly in group shots. because we want everyone in the photos to love the way they look.

Our portfolio is real couples on their wedding day. We don't hire models or do 'stylized shoots', and we will gladly show a complete wedding album for any couple we feature. In fact, we strongly recommend that you view complete wedding albums for any photographer you consider hiring so that you know exactly what you can expect.

Wonderful experience with thoughtful professionals

My husband and I had a destination ceremony and one of our receptions was at the Commodore St. Paul. We selected the venue for its old school glamour aesthetic and we wanted photographers who were able to capture that essence. Brad and Renee say of themselves how they really enjoy indoor photography and we couldn’t have been happier with them! I had a general idea of wanting photos that captured the glamour of the 1920s when this venue was built and they took the idea and found the details in the space to bring it to life. We had such fun experimenting and trying out every inspiring idea that came to them through the space and the photos reflect! They also tirelessly worked us through our crowd during the reception to make sure every single attendee was captured. We have so much gratitude for 85mm Photography and could not have been happier with not only the outcome of the beautiful photography but also the experience!

Brad and Renee were wonderful to work with for our wedding. My husband and I planned our wedding from out of state and they were very flexible. Our guests loved the quality of the pictures as did we. Brad and Renee were professional and were open to ideas from the wedding party and myself. I know I am going to treasure these pictures forever.

I wish there were more stars to highlight! I cannot even begin to say enough about the job Brad and Renee did for us! From the first contact to receiving our finished photos and discs, it was so much more than I had even realized was possible. They caught shots that almost escaped me as they were happening! They were perfectly professional and still so personal too. Easy to work with and flexible enough to accommodate changes we needed to make at the last minute due to the weather. It has been over a year now and I am still amazed by the incredible pictures. What a perfect way to remember a perfect day! We look forward to using them to photograph our family in the future. I can't even begin to tell you how highly I recommend that you select them to do your photos. You won't regret it. They will leave you with wonder memories that you can treasure forever!

This company went above and beyond what we expected. Without a doubt the best photographer we could possibly hire.

Planning groups, solos, party shots, photobooths, event scheduling, engagement shots, reception dinner, dvds and cds of the event, and anything and everything else possible that could involve a camera.

Thank you so much for everything you did. You made the entire process seamless and beautiful.

Brad and Renee worked very hard to get all the shots we wanted, including a first look and the ceremony and dance. We opted for the photo booth and were very happy with the results! The pricing was very competitive. I would highly recommend!
