I am having my rehearsal dinner at 790 this December and I am already so excited for it! I recently flew down to Florida to take care of everything, and Christine was such a delight to meet with. I'm not sure what I'm looking forward to the most, the view or the food! There are plenty of options to choose from, so no one will feel left out! I can't get enough of their muffaletta, but their hurricane chicken salad is my favorite! Also, shout out to Lauren for being so amazing! Hoping to have her working at the rehearsal dinner because she was so nice and fun! I'll update after the dinner!

We spent months looking for the perfect reception venue for our January destination beach wedding in Destin. Our dream was something oceanfront, and we wanted something--different for our ethnic fusion wedding. We didn't just want an average venue, we wanted something unique, with some character and class, but it also had to be something we could afford, and with a staff that we could count on to help us make our evening magical. Enter Christine Paris and her extraordinary team.
OHMYGOSH you guys, everything--every rave and praise and list of kudos--you've read about Christine is true.
This woman was nothing short of a nuclear powered generator of sunshine, and positivity, and energy, and positivity, and curiosity, and encouragement from the very first day.
We had so many things go wrong leading up to our wedding (everything from a wedding dress destroyed by a tailor, to all flowers for the event lost by FedEx, to a gas leak, to flight delays, to an ER visit, to a hit and run, and the list goes on), but Christine was such a powerful force of good the whole time, she helped us stay sane.
She provided us measurements and layouts of the reception space, gave us ideas for other vendors, brainstormed with us on a menu that would work for our complicated guest list (everything from vegetarian to gluten free to halal), took our hand drawn sketches of our plans to use the space with a bright "Yeah! We can do that!", advised on places to find sales on linens, let us ship specialty drinks from Tanzania and the Amazon ahead of the event and kept them for us until our arrival, met with us and walked the whole room during our visit, and on our actual reception, came in on a day she wasn't scheduled to work, just to be there for us and coordinate with our DJ and Photo Booth vendors. She stayed long enough to give us both the hugest hug, and then her super-attentive serving team took over.
The food was spectacular, the reception was the one part of our wedding where miraculously NOTHING went wrong. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful it was, and of course about that glorious cheesecake :)
I cannot recommend this place or Christine highly enough. We absolutely loved working with her, and 790 on the Gulf is such a hidden gem. The views of the sunset through the floor to ceiling windows was an amazing end to our wedding celebration, and the kindness of the entire staff is something I'll never forget.

We have been going to 790 On The Gulf for their amazing happy hours. We chose 790 On The Gulf because of the views and the food. Using the Inn at Crystal Beach (where 790 is located) was the best decision ever. Christine from 790 On The Gulf was an absolute pleasure to work with. I cannot say enough about her quick responses both on the phone and via email. Once we got to Destin we met with Christine and double checked all plans from the appetizers, bar, dinner food to the cake cutting. The wait staff did a fantastic job with our guests, Christine and the staff decorated the tables beautifully and we throughly enjoyed our time.
Because it did rain on this day we were able to use the Summerchase Room at the Inn at Crystal Beach. This worked out perfectly. To reserve our venue we worked with Megan Ainsworth from the Inn at Crystal Beach. She was amazing and very accommodating. Thank you 790 and the Inn at Crystal Beach for making our day absolutely amazing!
