Bus was 1 Hour Late

We booked a 33 person bus for a birthday. The bus came immediately from a wedding to our trip, and was unable to arrive on time.

The bus arrived nearly 1 hour late, with full trash cans and no gas. We dumped some of the trash ourselves and then directed him to a local gas station, as he was unable to make the 30 mile drive to our first destination.

Update: The owner of the company has offered to give a modest refund (roughly 10%) if we sign an NDA and take down reviews. This offer was only made after I left the original review.

The driver was excellent and accommodated our requests as we adjusted our evening to fit our late departure. Without him this would be a one-star review.

Please Do Not Use This Business

PEASE D0 NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. We booked this company, the Lenexa location, through the owner, Richard Galli, for my daughter's upcoming wedding in November. We booked a 50 passenger bus to take out of town guests to and from the hotel to the reception venue, a 37 passenger party bus, and a suburban to take us home. We were quoted 2160.00 with a 50% deposit due at the time of booking on February 23rd. The owner, Richard Galli, charged the 1080.00 twice to our charge card. We were told he had a new computer system and that he would try to credit the extra 1080.00 charge back to us. For a month, we did not receive the credit. When he would answer calls and emails, he kept stating that the credit was showing pending. Despite, being a HUGE red flag, we told him to consider it full payment for the booking. He was local and we wanted to support local small business. That was a terrible mistake. About a month ago, September 2024, we contacted, Richard Galli, the owner, to let him know we no longer needed the suburban. He agreed to credit the 495.00, but that he had a new computer system. As before, the credit did not go through. For several weeks and after repeated calls and emails, he said would mail us a check. The check finally came and promptly BOUNCED when we deposited it. He told us he would check with his bank and then told us to run the check through a second time, which is not allowed by the bank. After multiple phone calls, he agreed to Venmo the 495.00. By the end of the day on October 18, we had still not received the deposit despite multiple phone calls to different phone numbers. Finally, at 9:15pm we received the Venmo and the following Text message: "l believe it is best we part ways. I am canceling the service scheduled for the date in question. I do not think it's in either of our interests to move forward. I am gone until Wednesday October 23rd. l will be refunding your entire booking fee in full. I will meet you October 24th with a cashiers check for the remaining balance. I would like to meet at Oak Park Mall in front of Barnes and Noble at 7:00pm. We will also require the documentation outlined in the contract for refunds. I will email that to you for refunds. I will email that to you Wednesday October 23rd. Your attorney is welcome to contact me directly with any questions. Please do not contact me again via any means." Richard Galli,
the owner, canceled the booking and contract without cause. He also requires a Non- Disclosure and Settlement Agreement be signed before the return of money. This agreement bars any disclosure of "Confidential lnformation" which might include but not be limited to 1. Refund Amounts; 2.The events that occurred; 3. Details of vehicle break down; 4.This agreement in its entirety; 5. Time for refund processing; 6. Requirements for a refund to be issued; 7. Details in emails, phone call or text message correspondence. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that 63 Party Bus, LLC forfeited its ability to operate as an LLC in July 2O24 for failure to timely file an annual report and pay the annual report fee. As of today, it has been confirmed by the Kansas Secretary of State that the business remains in forfeiture. It is not in good standing. lt also appears from multiple reviews from his different locations that this way of doing business is not usual for Richard Galli, the owner of 63 Party Bus, LLC. He has double charged many clients for their bookings. And he uses the NDA to try to keep clients he has scammed from posting their experiences, Bravo, to those who have forfeited their money to expose him and his shady business practices. He is dishonest and definitely takes total advantage of his clients. We will be looking into pursuing legal action as well. AGAIN, PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AND THE OWNER, Richard Galli. BE CAREFUL HE MAY TRY TO OPERATE UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
