Great service! Not only was our Dj on point with everything we wanted from our wedding entertainment, he was able to accommodate our wedding ceremony music mere seconds before it started. ( all this due to a few unseen obstacles for the ceremony). Our Dj was incredibly professional, played great music without any technical issues ever stunting the flow on the dance floor. 5 star entertainment also made it clear that we were their first priority at all times, regularly checking in to make sure the experience was up to par with our expectations. I would definitely employ them again and recommend them to anyone looking for quality entertainment.

My friend hired 5 Star Entertainment for her wedding three years ago, and it was an absolute disaster. The DJ showed up late, acted completely unprofessional, and brought stress instead of support on what should have been one of the happiest days of their lives.

He yelled at guests to get off their phones during the reception, mocked the best man during his speech, and even tried to stop the couple’s daughter from speaking during a planned, meaningful moment. On top of that, he refused to play songs requested by guests, complained constantly about the venue layout, and blamed the bride and groom for his own mistakes throughout the night, including missing songs that she had given to them weeks prior for their walk up song, entrances, etc

After the wedding, the owner acknowledged in writing that the situation was mishandled and agreed to refund the deposit. That refund still hasn’t been issued — three years later. To avoid accountability, he’s now blocked my friend and others who witnessed the event from commenting or messaging the business page.

This is no longer just about the money. It’s about integrity, accountability, and how clients are treated once the check clears. No couple should ever have their wedding day ruined like this.

Our October 2022 wedding did not go as planned. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism of our DJ. Let’s just say he was late, he didn’t have the intro song for my husband and I, then told us we never sent it to him, pulled up his email to prove us wrong (instead of just getting a song going) then said, oh here it is. He mocked our best man during his speech, he was on the patio (where I had guests seated) screaming at someone while on a personal phone call, he was rude to our guests, the list goes on.

I took two days to get my thoughts together and sent an email to Bob, the owner of the company. He and I connected by phone the first week of November. He seemed to empathize with me, agree what happened was inappropriate, and we came to an agreement on a refund of my deposit. I told my husband that he had totally redeemed himself in my book and I was prepared to give him a 5 star review for the way in which he handled the situation. He told me he would cut a check for me the following week. It never came.

Then, nothing. I had to consistently follow up with him through the end of 2022. Each time I was given another excuse of he had forgotten, it would be in the mail the next day, etc. He had a family emergency, which I gave space for and I didn’t reach back out until I saw him posting on his business page and personal page about business. Then I followed up every 2-3 weeks and eventually got nothing back whatsoever.

I was ghosted. I received $50 via Venmo randomly in January. I have reached out since to follow up on the other $450 and he has never responded.

Thankfully, I have everything in text messages and email as proof. I am not one to post negative reviews, I waited as long as possible to post this, over a year months, in hopes he would hold up his end of our agreement. I do believe this is a good company and the owner truly means well, but the owner made a bad situation worse.

I reached out to the owner multiple times, he still has not communicated with me.
