We had our reception at the 4th Floor Blues Club in Richmond. It was very lucky that we were able to book because reception sites go so quickly in Richmond. The only problems we had with them is the fact that they scheduled a concert the night before our wedding day, therefore we were not able to decorate the night before. I spoke with the contact person and she stated she would do everything she could to move the concert so we could decorate...however she did not try very hard or was more interested in making money that making quality recommendations from her customers becuase we were not able to get in the night before. Another problem we had was the reception did not last the whole time slot we had reserved, therefore the bridal party stayed around to visit with each other after everyone had left. The bartender and the contact person had to stay there as well. All they did was stare at us the whole time we were sitting and visiting because they wanted to go home although we had the place reserved. So we ended the visiting time early because they were breathing down our necks to get us to leave. Very unprofessional on their part.
