Whether you are planning an important business meeting or an intimate wedding reception, fundraising gala, or a small conference, birthday or anniversary party, baby shower or even a small class or workshop, our staff can help you to create a unique and inspiring gathering space to suit your needs.

Our 4,000 square foot event center rental was built in June of 2012 in Longmont, Colorado and can accommodate up to 100 guests. The center has a dance floor, bar area and a separate cafe room for the food service at your event. The event center also has a large screen television and for presentations and slide shows. Our on site and off site catering services are provided by 17th Ave Place Catering Services.

I heard of this event center from a friend. I didn’t know this place existed. We went in to the location to see what they had to offer. Immediately when we walked through the door we knew this is where we wanted to get married. The event planner (Jeanne) made us feel right at home and gave us very good ideas of what we can do with the space and how they had set it up in the past. They had onsite catering and offered it as part of the package. Which I must say was VERY affordable. You get so much value for the amount you spend it was not comparable to anything else out there. Forward now to the big day, Jeanne called us and let us in before another event to decorate ( it was a Christmas themed wedding ) the 2 Christmas trees. This saved a lot of time since we had a lot of decorations to put together. She was right there with us helping decorate and offering Ideas to make this one of the best days of our lives. We went with the catering and was very pleased with the food and the service we opted for. I would recommend this venue to everyone I come in contact with for special occasions. We are already thinking of using this space again.

17th Avenue is a great place to hold your event. We had a holiday party and a bridal show. The space was perfect for both events. Jeanne is so helpful! Highly recommend!

Waste of time

Extremely unprofessional. Doesn't take his business seriously. Kept canceling on food tastings. Finaly told us after months of this that he couldn't meet our needs and canceled the contract.

They ruined everything

Unprofessional, rude, won't work with anyone on their timeline, just his, Petty, ruined hard work I'd put into planning. unprofessional about money. Wanted to break the contract when I asked simple simple questions. Such as when could a tasting be set up? He caters to the venue so...it's putting all eggs into one poorly made basket. When I tried to get my deposit back from him once it was decided it wasn't happening...he wouldn't set a time to meet. He wanted a home address to send a check(over two hundred dollars, probably would bounce, who knows if it would get sent this year or on his end he could just say...it got lost in the mail). He wouldn't show respect at all. He didn't treat this as a business but rather as a piggy bank for himself. Getting a hold of him was near impossible for over a month. Literally everything was horrible. The price lures you in. Don't be fooled. It's not worth the back stepping to the beginning of planning. Users beware. He outright said, he doesn't know what charger plates are and he's never heard of food options for guests on invites. Nor does he think people she cater to guests wants. Just get what your craving. He said everyone has a preference. But we shouldn't worry even a little. Such as a vegetarian and meat option both. I can't say enough what hell this has been and until I get a refund back, still is.

A wedding dream turned nightmare

He treated my cousin awful. Gave her the run around and wouldn't let her ask questions. He said his time was more important and not only that but he called her and her family with her crazy when she brought concerns up. She was in tears because she not only was treated so poorly but she now has to look for a new venue. Shame on them for accepting clients if they cannot handle questions. Not everyone is able to afford a planner and for simple questions to detour from her getting to use his venues signed options(he wanted to instantly give back the deposit and told her to elsewhere, instead of helping answer her questions or make her feel at ease). Simple questions example being, when can a tasting be scheduled.
