The UH Chapel is great & SO SO SO beautiful. It gets booked really quickly, so go as soon as you have your date. If you're having a long ceremony I would recommend booking 2 time slots if you have the money. You won't feel as rushed to get out of there and you can have your wedding at whatever time you'd like. We booked the 4-6 timeslot and had our wedding at 5. The sun was coming in through the back window and shinning right on my husband and i at the alter. It was beautiful!! There are also 2 seperate rooms upstairs so the men can have one and the ladies can have another before the wedding. They are pretty strict about time and decorations, but our florist & other vendors knew the rules well and it wasn't a problem.

Chamber Music did a wonderful job performing at our wedding ceremony. The music was beautiful. Prior to the wedding Beverly was a bit hard to get ahold of. I had several questions about the music we needed to pick and they were never answered. ON the day of the wedding one of the musicians was in a car accident and wasn't able to show up, but Beverly emailed me about 4 times that same night explaining what happened and offering me a refund for the musician that wasn't able to come. They were scheduled to play at our cocktail hour, but there was some confusion with the DJ and they weren't able to do so. When I asked Beverly about this she copied me on an email that was sent by one of the musicians explaining why they could not play. When I read further down into the email I saw the Beverly was accusing me of trying to get another refund out of them, which was not the case. I was VERY offended by this, but she did appologize later. Even after all of that, I would recommend Chamber Music because of their wonderful performance at the weddings itself.

Ashley K did both our engagement and wedding pictures and she was amazing. We had to change our wedding day 4 months out and she was able to work with us on setting up a new date. She was also WONDERFUL with my husband, who hates being photographed. Ashley was able to work with his personality to get some great shots without making him feel uncomforatable. She captured all the important moments and did it without me really even noticing. She is a total professional and even found a way to shoot around our videographer who seemed in the way in ALL of our friends' pictures. She stayed for our entire wedding and we were able to see the proofs just a couple of weeks after our honeymoon. I cannot say enough good things about Ashley. She is AWESOME!!!!!!! Book her as soon as you have a date!

Cristina put together some amazing flowers for our wedding. I had no idea whatsoever what I wanted when i walked into our meeting, but after she asked me a few questions and then I showed her the color of my bridesmaids dresses, she seemed to know exactly what would look good. She went and pulled a few pictures she had in magazines and they were perfect!!! My mom made some drapes for the alter and Cristina agreed to hang them (and take them down) for us for a very small fee so we wouldn't have to worry about them. One thing I wish i would have done was assign someone to take the flowers from the ceremony to the reception sight. Cristina does not transfer the flowers between the two. I didn't worry about a thing with Cristina. She showed up on time & had everything ready to go for me. What a professional!!!

My fiance and I met with Robin and liked him immediately. We decided to pay a little extra (not a lot at all) to have Robin himself DJ at our wedding. We ran into a problem 4 months out and had to reschedule the wedding. Robin did this for us without a issue. We were so thrilled with his work! He was a complete master of ceremonies. He was able to read the crowd really well and kept an eye on both my husband and i as we walked around greeting our guest so he could continue with the program when we were done. He did a great job of play my "must plays" and "do not plays", although we decided to leave our "must plays" to a short list because we trusted Robin's experience. We knew he would know weddings better than we would since he's been a DJ for so long. We got TONS and TONS of compliments on him after the wedding. I definitely recommend trying to get Robin himself to do your wedding.

Make sure your priest is available the night of your rehearsal. We had a miscommunication and ours wasn't able to make it.
