Lovely, Timeless & Green. The Barr Mansion prides itself on being the only USDA certified organic wedding venue in Texas. It was so important to us that we were able to have such an elegant affair while remaining "green". From the hor'dourves to the sit down dinner, even the flowers were locally grown and organic. We received so many compliments on how fresh everything tasted, and we knew we had picked the perfect venue. Thank you so much Barr Mansion!! Our wedding was incredibly romantic and beautiful, everything we dreamed about and then some!!

Our wedding cake was everything we could have hoped for and quintessentially Southern! It was an octagon shaped bourbon praline cake. A gourmet cake by Coco Paloma Desserts that was made of yellow cake doused with a bourbon soak and filled with homemade pecan praline butter cream and covered with a vanilla butter cream frosting. The sugar flowers that topped the cake were all-handmade and were so realistic and beautiful. It was just a breathtaking creation. Paloma does not disappoint! My husband and I received compliments all evening about how moist and delicious the cake was and we will return to Paloma for all of our future cake needs!

Natalie's dresses are as special and one of a kind as she is! My dress was a couture design that was an incorporation of ideas between Natalie and myself. I searched everywhere for the "perfect dress" and had come up empty handed, nothing had that ethereal yet glamorous look that I was going for. Natalie completely understood my vision, she really listened to my wants and needs and was able to bring my "Grace Kelly" dress to fruition. I am so thankful for her creative insight and professionalism. I would recommend Natalie to any bride looking for that WOW factor for her big day.

Lindsey at Inviting Affairs is the girl in the know! She was so helpful in assisting us and made sure that we had exactly what we wanted. When our invitations first were printed, our pale pink ink turned out dark red (not what we wanted) and we were a bit skeptical. Then Lindsey assured us that we would be taken care of and when we got our invitations completed they were BEYOND perfect. I was so happy with the way all of my wedding stationary turned out and would recommend Inviting Affairs to any Austin bride.

I had the great privilege to have my wedding day hair and make up done by the professionals at Milk + Honey salon here in Austin, Texas. My bridesmaids, mother and I were all styled there and we left the salon feeling sexy, confident and happy. The best part about Milk & Honey is hands down the staff. Each employee truly is passionate about what they do and they always aim to make each patron feel special. So I absolutely encourage anyone in and around Austin to stop by the Salon or either of their spa locations for great personal service.
