Our Story

 

Our Wedding Plans

We will have two weddings. 
The first will be held Labor Day 2008 (Sept 1st) in Paris, France, just the two of us.
The second will be held on October 4th, 2008 in Malibu, California with our friends and family. 

Our Planning Experience

We loved our simple elopement ceremony at Paris, France on 9-1-08. On our other big day 10-4-08 at Malibu, California, with our important family and friends, we said I DO once again and it was just beautiful.

Our Advice

Take your time. Have enough time to plan your wedding.

I loved this chapel. The view, the beautiful stained glass windows, everything! Our ceremony here was so very lovely, and the staff was friendly too!

We received the flowers right on schedule 2 days before our big day. And the next day we had a flower making party that helped so much with my girls. If you are within a budget. Doing your own wedding flowers will save you money.

At first, when I got here the lady that casually tried to semi-help me was very rude. So I decided to get a dress online. Then after a while, I wanted to try again. The second time around worked out for me better since the other sales lady was so much more warm and friendly. I got my beautiful gown here for my ceremony and lunch reception.

DJ Steve Irons was great! He did a great job playing the music we choose, and he also helped us fix up our slideshow music last minute since we had a hiccup with that. Thanks Steve!

I can't tell you how much I just loved Carla and Avis. Carla kept up with me and my planning up to the big day. And Avis was just a tell it like it is lady that helped so much especially when you really need it to get your posse organized. I recommend them to anyone planning from small to a big fancy wedding. They are truly awesome and professional wedding coordinators, and they helped me feel so much more relaxed and confident that everything will turn out beautiful.
