Our story is a little strange.:) We actually had alot of the same friends in high school, but our paths never crossed. The Lord knew it just wasnt right timing. We both needed to grow and change as people. God's plan finally fell into place May 31st 2010. The day i met my husband to be :) We met through our mutual friend Travis Sanders. (I Guess We Can Blame This Wedding Business On Him ;] ) I knew that night as we were driving home, it'd be a night i'd never forget:) Unfortuntely, it wasnt all rainbows and sunshine. I quickly found out that he had enlisted in the United States Navy, And that he was leaving in less than 2 weeks. It was one of the hardest things ive dealt with in my life. Here i am, 16 years old and the goverment is already making me mad. ;) After those two weeks, I just knew. He was my one, so we sat down and made sure we were up for the heartbreak and distance. (Who could REALLY be ready for that?) And off he went. But right before he boarded that plane he gave me those words that kept me sane. "I love you" We ended up spending 9 months apart before he was able to come home. Having the love of your life halfway across the country is NOT something I recomend. But we made it:) And here we are. Engaged and will be Married by August 26th, 2012. My grandparents 45th wedding anniversary.
