Patsy, the event coordinator, was very nice to work with. This place also has some rules you need to follow, but it’s worth it. The venue is beautiful and really close to downtown and the intracoastal which makes for nice pictures. We got a lot of compliments that night. Everyone was really impressed with the venue. I’m very happy that we were able to have our reception there. It’s the perfect size for around 100 people. I would not recommend much more than 100 people for this venue though. I would say max 120ish. The ballroom area is beautiful with the ceiling draping and lights. It is also very neutral which makes it easy to use any color palette inside to decorate it.
The flowers were beautiful, but some were not exactly as I had planned. We originally were working with Joel, but found out in January that Joel was no longer with the company and David Dalsimer would be taking over our event. David was a little rough around the edges at first as we tried to hammer everything out to make sure we were on the same page. However, I enjoyed working with him. The flowers were fresh and beautiful. Set up was great. I was disappointed slightly with my bouquet. It was smaller than I thought it would be. I gave David pictures of the bouquets and CP style I liked. Everything was mostly spot on. Instead of light pink mini callas for the BMs bouquets, brighter pink ones were used. We had discussed on the phone that I wanted to do red rose bouts for the GMs rather than white. On the day of, we only had white rose bouts and a mini calla for my husband. In the end, these were minor details. It also states in the contract that they pretty much reserve the right to change things based on availability. Don’t know if that was the problem or if it was all just due to miscommunication. Again, this was all technically minor details and no one noticed except for me. They also provided the uplighting for the wedding. This was a great touch. I would recommend doing this if you can fit it into your budget. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience with them. (I would also like to note that I went to their Deerfield Beach location)
In my opinion, they make the best cake. It was the perfect balance between moist and firm. I had tried a few other bakers and wasn’t all that impressed, so I was excited when my caterer told me my package included a cake from this bakery. We were able to get two flavors: Strawberry with cream cheese icing filling and chocolate with chocolate raspberry fudge filling. LOVED IT! Everyone raved about the wedding cake. They also did my bridal shower cake in which we got the golden butter cake with raspberry preserves. I got so many compliments about it. It was beautifully decorated and very tall. I was worried about a three tier caking looking small, but they make very tall tiers. Overall, I was very pleased with this vendor.
I worked with Jodi. She is so helpful and such a sweetheart. I wanted to buy my wedding dress with her, but they didn’t carry my designer (Moonlight). So, I decided to buy my veil there. My veil was a little on the expensive side, but the service at Bellissima was so great that I just had to buy something from them.
Jorge A. is great to work with. My meetings with him were always pleasant and went smoothly. We had Mike M. as the DJ for our wedding. Mike is a very nice guy and kept us informed of everything that was going on. All the correct songs were played at the right times. I didn’t like some of the dance songs played as I was somewhat worried about my older guests, however no one seemed to mind. It seemed that everyone that wanted to dance stayed on the dance floor the whole time. He kind of stumbled over my first name even after asking me how to say it, however I can’t quite hold it against him. Many people pronounce my name incorrectly. He also kind of stumbled over my last name which isn’t hard at all, so I don’t know what that was about it. Overall, we enjoyed working with this company and our guests seemed to have a good time too.

Victoria was very nice to deal with. She was always very professional and friendly. They were also reasonably priced for a string quartet. There was only one problem: the cellist got stuck in traffic coming from Miami and was late to the wedding. I had already started to walk down the aisle before he got there, so I actually only had a string trio. They played beautifully though. Victoria contacted me immediately after the wedding. She apologized and told me she would send me a partial refund, which I received soon after. I thought she handled the situation very well and I am very pleased with my experience. I recommend this vendor without any reservations.

Valerie is a very talented make up artist and she has a wonderful personality too. She listened to what I wanted for my make up and did a great job interpreting my ideas. I received the airbrush make up and loved it! It felt so light and looked very natural. She did a great job with my eye make up which was very important to me too. On the day of the wedding, she was a calming and friendly energy to be around. I'm so glad that I chose her to do my wedding day make up.
