Joshua Roger Tippens & Christina Michelle West. How It Began.....
    We met in ninth grade through a mutual friend named Andrew. At the time he had a serious girlfriend and I was just becoming a close friend. We remained very close friends for the next year and a half and then he decided to end things with his girlfriend (apparently he felt that I was more important than she was, or so I heard). I was really happy when he finally ended things with her. I thought that we would finally get the chance to be together, but he said that he wasn't really ready for another relationship right off. Over the summer of 2008 I went to Kansas City, Missouri for a SkillsUSA Nationals Competition. It was a for a week out there. We talked almost every night, then one night he said he'd call me back the next day but he never did. This was in June and I waited all summer for him to call me back but it never happened. Then when school started back we started talking again. It was the first month of our junior year in high school and he finally got the courage up to ask me to be his girlfriend. Of course I said yes, I had waited all that time to be his there was no playing hard to get. 
    Josh is my first serious boyfriend. He told me from the beginning that he wanted to take things slow. So we have. It took him over a month to even hold my hand and then a few weeks after our one month he told me that he loved me. He is the only guy that has ever loved me truely. I didn't tell him I loved him right back, even though I wanted to more than anything in the world. I waited a week to tell him. About a week after I told him I loved him he finally kissed me. It had been almost 2 months into our relationship but it was so worth the wait. I've never felt a connection with anyone like I have with him.

    We had a great relationship for 6 months then he had to have foot surgery and he lost all confidence in himself to be independent. He seemed kind of depressed and he broke things off with me out of the blue.  Then for the next month I was depressed  just waiting on him to come back to me. I had lost all hope then I got a text message one day from a number I didn't recognize (I deleated all his numbers and before we had broken up we had only talked on the phone not texted) it was from Josh. We started talkin a little bit and then he told me that he wished I was there with him. I was really confused I even accussed him of bein high or somethin. But he was serious and then a couple days later we were back together. Now we've been together over a year and we are so much better than we were before. We both believe that if we had never broken up we wouldn't appreciate having each other as much as we do now.

So now we are seniors in high school and the only thing stopping us from getting married sooner than we are is my college. After I graduate we are getting married, getting a house (we're saving up for one already) and then having a baby.
