Education
I attended high school in Burnet, TX. I ended up quitting, and moving to Florida 2 days after turning 18! I completed my GED in March of 2002. I obtained my TX CNA certification in April of 2004. It's lapsed, and I'd go back for it, but the pay is WAY too low here in Houston!
Hobbies
I'm a HUGE Patricia Cornwell fan! I love to read! I used to love roller skating, but haven't done it in AGES! I was reading Twilight, but got stuck on the House of Night Series! Very good, and a little more "believeable" lol!!!

About Me
I was born in FL. Raised in TX. Spent all my life trying to avoid TX, just to end up here again! I've been married twice before...my 1st ex, is a great friend despite the trials and end of our marriage...my 2nd ex, well, he deserves whatever God intends to give him!
I have a son, who is 1, with FH. I'm about to be a stepmom, to a 5 year old boy, and an 8 year old girl...they're crazy, but I love them! There really isn't that much about me, to know! at least, nothing that fully comes to mind! I can be a sweetheart, but just pray you aren't the one who's made me angry! LOL
Rants
Trying to do everything to make it easier on everyone else...yep, houston was our first, and now our fourth and final location! oh yeah...chris(fh) said do what WE want not what's easiest on everyone else...so i did...when i told my mom about kemah boardwalk and joe's crabshack...she just didn't get it, and still doesn't...i guess she thinks it's too laid back...oh well, it's not my issue! we're about to start planning for her wedding next year, and since we're 2 completely different people, she'll probably get the same words from me, so just deal! lol, i'm mean, and short tempered, can ya tell?!

oh wait, without editing, i can think of one!!! My MOH, Michelle, who lives in IL, is going to be able to make it, and bring my niece and nephew! i used to be BFF with her ex husband, but he "used" me in a confrontation with her, after spending about 2 years telling me about how crappy she was...i convinced her to start LIVING life, and made her live it ;) ever since, she's my bff...the only person besides fh who i can tell absolutely anything to, even a couple things fh doesn't know about...yep, there's things in my life i don't share even with him...it's a girl thing, i suppose....crazy, my entire "Rave" has been about her ;) i loooove her!!!
FH and I met in California. I and my then-bf went to the Duece(MCB Camp Pendleton's e-club), with our roommate Steve(fh's bff & bm)...steve brought Chris...my bf went inside to get our drinks, and when he came out, me steve and my girl were talking to chris...well, i saw the door open to the outside, and my bf comes barrelling out...later that night, he said when he walked outside(and for the rest of the night apparently), chris(FH) just kept smiling, and staring at me...i didn't even know till the bf pointed it out, all pissy and such! a week or so later, me and the bf accompanied steve to a party in the barracks, well the navy barracks...the bf was USMC(hated sailors lol). i don't remember where my bf went, but somehow i ended up following steve to another room, with another guy to play xbox lol. when the bf finally showed back up, i was outside leaning over the rail talking to chris. a few weeks later, my bf went to AZ for training to go to Iraq, and steve and i decided to have friends over..so he told me chris was coming(but he called him by his last name, a thing marines do, not sailors lol...so when chris got there, i didn't really recognize him...either way, that night we hung out(lol, there's a more "racey" explanation to that! but pg-wise!)...he started taking steve to work and such, so i didnt have too, since steve didn't have a car, and my bf's truck was a guzzler, and my honda was broken...
after about 3 weeks of neither of us having given the other our phone numbers, he calls! he'd been calling me from steves phone, as bad as i was, i still had a bf, and chris wasn't calling my phon...after the confusion wore off of how he'd gotten my number(steve lol), we kind of started dating...and by this time, steve, chris and my girl had convinced me to dump the bf...who was as i said, draining me financially and doing it quickly...when the bf returned, i was a little torn...i wasn't really seeing everything the guys were seeing...and finally one night, after he got home and chris went back to the barracks, i went on a "drive". it's what i used to do when i needed to think...if you know that part of california, i can tell you now: if you exit fallbrook down fallbrook road, to hwy 76, go south on i-15, west on 78, and then north on i-5 and go to the main gate of camp pendleton, through the naval weapons station, it's a little over an hour, for the whole trip...and it cleared my head....well, this particular night, somehow, after my "trip" i ended up at the naval barracks...and i saw chris' car, so i called him and had him come down...we started out driving to oceanside beach...then, somehow, we ended up at kmart in Imperial beach, to grab both of us a long sleeve shirt, and me some jeans, with the intent of going to the beach to walk...we ended up in Tijuana...lol...after much money spent, and quite a bit of drinking, we somehow made it safely back to the barracks the next morning...the rest is more or less history! we got engaged about 3 months later, lol...after 2 1/2 years of an dup and down relationship, we now have a 1 year old son...and just had our 4 year anniversary(although we ain't celebrated it yet!)...
The Ring
we originally bought my ring, as a set, at walmart in california....after the major ups and downs, i gave it to my sister as a "promise" ring to herself...if you know anything about the ring symbolism, it's a ring in lieu of a promise of virginity, etc...i found another set online, on a silver site...that, ended up in the trash can, about a year ago lol...yep i was angry over some things, and a few people managed to do quite a bit of damage to us....we finally purchased me another ring, on inspiredsilver.com..it's my dream ring, more in our budget ;) he's not satisfied with it, so i have an itty-bitty hunch, he might end up buying me another one....
we've never "formally" got engaged...every time he tried, i would mess it up, telling him hang on i'm doing something, or get off the ground etc!!! finally, one night he and i were going to the movies with steve(we saw the movie about the city in WV that still burns, and the mom lost her daughter? i love the movie, and forgot the name!)...anyways, as is our tradition, no matter where we go, we go to walmart before or after....so after the movie, we went to walmart....when i came out of the bathroom, he was standing at the machine where you make dog tags...as soon as i started to ask what he made, he brought out a red heart key-tag, that read "will you marry me"?!! i've lost it, TMK...i thought i lost it at work, about 6 months later, but we never found it, and where i work, there were no tiny places it could've got stuck in, so for all i know, it's somewhere in all our stuff, or even at his dad's house, in the boxes we left when we moved here to tx....
Our Planning Experience
our wedding planning experience...has been hectic to say the least! we started out with a nice ceremony and intimate reception at a rental home here in houston, to moving it to florida...our original date was our anniversary, october 17, the day after our son turned 1...then we learned my brother was having a baby, and his g/f was due at the same time as our wedding, and so to not detract from that, we thought to have it in Kentucky, where fh was born and raised, and his family and daughter still live...then, we learned that his stepdad's mom has 2 kinds of cancer, and his mom wanted to wait on wedding plans. which we understand, but we didn't want to push our wedding back, and with a wedding, especially in another state, it's hard to plan, and then hope for the best, when such a thing is going on. had we put any deposits down(i put a deposit on a place, a small deposit, but i'm in the works of retrieving that, and thankfully, i can get it back, since it's more than 90 days from the date, and they will be able to book the date)...but had we put down deposits, and something happened to his stepdad's mom, then his mom said her husband wouldn't want anything going on...and the place i put a deposit on, was our back up....the whole thing was supposed to take place on his mom's acreage....so i talked to fh and told him what was going on, and i thought he'd be mad and think me insensitive...instead, he agreed, and said we needed to do what we wanted. and that although he isn't being insensitive, he hardly knows the woman, and has only met her a few times, so while he sympathizes, he doesn't want all the negative associated with a wedding...i think on some level, he's a little upset himself, but i won't say here, as to why...
Our Advice
do what is YOU!!! not what everyone else wants, not what is convenient for everyone else! throughout our planning, i keep thinking "well we need to make sure this for that person" and such...and it kept turning into, we weren't able to do what WE wanted...now, we're going to do what we want!!! of course, i've changed our theme, from a mafia-style, Elliot Ness-inspired supper club dinner night, to a whimsical, casual beach reception, with a little bling factor i'm a girl! gotta get my bling on somewhere!!!
