The Tremont house is beautiful and easy to work with. You get a large & amazing suite the night before the wedding (or for the wedding night ;o) They were the only place in town who called us back within a timely manner. All of our questions and concerns were answered. Overall it was a pleasure working with them!
I did a lot of research when planning my wedding and Speculoos was by far the best bakery in town! I wanted them from the moment I read all the reviews I had found and after seeing the website! Our wedding cakes (wedding cake & groom's cake) were elegant, beautiful and very delicious!!! Their pricing is very affordable! Everytime I'm in Galveston I stop in and thank Becky (who did our cakes!) and buy some pastery treats because everything they make is so yummy!!!
All I can say is they are AMAZING!!! Their pricing and packages are easily affordable for any budget! I researched ALOT of photographers and they had the best and most beautiful pictures out of all of them, very talented couple! Plus, you definitely get even MORE than your money's worth with their quality pictures! You get 2 photographers for the price of one! They give you written permission to have copies of pictures made as well as printing your own else where. They were prompt and on time, very creative, and a lot of fun to work with! They have a lot of great pictures in their galleries on their site! I recommend them to EVERYONE!!!
I used Island Flowers for all my floral needs for my wedding. They did a wonderful job! Everything was exceptionally beautiful, delivered on time & extremely affordable! I searched ALL florists on the island, as well as florist within 25 miles & they are definitely THE BEST!!! I highly recommend Island Flowers!
I made the mistake of using David's Bridal for my wedding gown and accessories, which I highly REGRET! The service was far from exceptable, but I chose to use David's Bridal because it is such a large company and has several locations around Houston (which I thought would be convenient). My "consultant" was not very informative, and gave me the WRONG INFORMATION in regards to when I would have to bring my dress back in for the adjustments and fitting. So, 3 weeks before the wedding I called to schedule an appointment for adjustments/fitting to find out you're supposed to have that taken care of a few months before the wedding... I was furious and had to call all the David's Bridal locations around Houston and surrounding areas to see if anyone could fit me in for a rushed order for fitting. Finally, I found a David's Bridal with an opening that could do it (mind you it cost extra for rush alterations!), then I had to drive almost TWO HOURS there (and 2 hrs. back!) for my fitting to find out my original "consultant" at the first location had only sold me the dress and veil, and apparently I needed 2-3 other pieces which we had to order and it cost more for an extremely rushed order! Then, almost 2 weeks later I go in for my final dress fitting and it was still too big but they could not do any further adjustments in time for the wedding! So I was stuck with a dress that was TOO BIG and kept falling down, and everyone I danced with kept stepping on it which made it fall down even more. To top things off and make matters even worse, because the dress didn't fit properly and was too big, it made me appear larger in all my wedding pictures... now my photographed memories are practically ruined! :o(
P.S. All their mistakes ended up costing me an additional $600+
