The photos and videography captured really encapsulated so much of our special day; looking through photos and the videos, it was like getting to live it all over again. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Andrew! We really appreciate the pricing being readily available, it was easy to determine that Xcite by far had the best value compared to other photographers. Andrew came out here to Chicago to take our engagement photos, he was even kind enough to give us a ride back to the closest CTA station afterwards! We worked with Kristen to come up with a timeline for the wedding. On the big day Andrew took photos with the bridesmaids and Chris with the groomsmen. They were easy to work with, guided us through all the shots, and found the perfect balance so we weren't too tired from taking so many photos. We cannot recommend Xcite highly enough! Matt & Anna -

Look no further
The moment I saw XcitePhoto at a bridal expo I felt a weight lift off my shoulders. The most important thing Andrew did was hear out our expectations and the things that mattered most to us whereas other photographers we met detailed what they thought were best first. After our first zoom meeting I knew I would be able to give all my trust to Andrew after hearing about his background and his team. Andrew is incredibly efficient and I heavily relied on him because the entirety of the wedding day was so overwhelming I could barely think for myself and make decisions. I didn’t have to worry a thing about poses or spots to film/photograph. Add Dayana and Cris into the mix and you have the best trio. Cris just magically shows up when you need him, it’s like he had telepathy and just captured beautiful and such fun video moments I’ll cherish forever. Dayana is going to make sure you have THE photos. I’m grateful she pulled us into photos I never would have thought of otherwise and I would have really regretted missing out on if it wasn’t for her. She also was never shy about reminding me placement of my bouquet and body position. This was so important because these are things you never realize until you see it when it’s too late, she is your hype girl for real. At the end of the night I was urging Andrew to leave because I felt at this point we were taking advantage of him, this is just a testament to how DEDICATED this team is. I’m looking forward to the day I get to hire them again for another event! -

Our experience with xCite was excellent from beginning to end.
First and most important, our pictures and video have turned out gorgeous. Our wedding day team of Kristen, Chris, and Matt were skilled both at staging beautiful shots and at capturing candid moments - so much so that it was actually a challenge to narrow our favorites down to 'only' 200 for our album. Kristen's management is smooth and efficient, which allowed us to get the shots that were important to us while keeping everything on schedule. The "social media cutdown" video that they produced truly looks like something out of a movie and was great to share with some of the distant family who weren't able to join us.
In our planning phase, we were relieved to find xCite. We had intro conversations with a couple other photographers and found them expensive, obscure and impersonal. From our first meeting with Andrew, we appreciated that he seemed genuinely interested in capturing our personality and that his pricing was reasonable and transparent. xCite's packages are all in a straightforward grid, while we felt like others were hiding exclusions and add-ons. We ended up kind of upselling ourselves into adding videography which turned out to be a fantastic decision. As we look back on now on our video and pics, we'd give 6 stars if we could. -

Amazing Team
Andrew and his team were absolutely incredible. We initially met him at a bridal expo, and loved his work. After a consult call with him, we were sold.
He did a phenomenal job with our engagement photos, and was open to our suggestions.
Come wedding day, him and his team were working so hard, making sure to capture every moment possible. They were so easy to work with the entire time, and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great photographer for their special day. -

Amazing beyond words
As both a bride and a wedding planner who has worked with Andrew and his incredible team for over 15 years, I can say without hesitation that Xcite Photo & Video is the best in business. Our wedding on September 20th, 2025, at Oakbrook Manor (Oakbrook Bath & Tennis) was captured flawlessly, and the experience exceeded every expectation.
Our photographers Kristen and Chris were absolutely amazing—professional, calming, creative, and so much fun to work with. They made us feel completely at ease and captured every special moment beautifully and effortlessly. Mike, our videographer, was equally phenomenal. His attention to detail and ability to capture the emotion of the day was outstanding, and we cannot wait to relive our wedding through his work.
The services were so worth it. From start to finish, the team was organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything was perfect. Coming from someone who has been behind the scenes of hundreds of weddings, that level of consistency and excellence is rare.

We had our wedding in October, and the Xcitephoto & Films team was absolutely amazing! We had Kristen and Katy for our photographers and Matt as our videographer. They all did a phenomenal job. Not only did they make the photo/video taking go smoothly and stress-free, they also made the preparations before the wedding go flawlessly. For an introverted couple who do not like the spotlight, they made sure we didn't feel awkward and didn't feel as if we were constantly in front of a camera. They provided very good directions for posing, which was helpful for us, and we were able to enjoy the day without any worries.
The photos are beautiful and we received sneak peeks and the full gallery when they said we would. The same with our wedding video.
Part of our package, we had their photobooth too. It was very easy to use and we loved the album Xcitephoto provided for our guests to fill out as they took their photos. The props were cute and everyone loved it!
We could not have asked for a better team on our wedding day. -

The communication throughout the months leading up to the big day was great, and we had nothing but great correspondence throughout the day! I'm so glad that I decided to go to the wedding expo in Rosemont because that's where I stopped by the booth for Xcite Photo. I didn't think much of it because this was my second wedding expo and I already had lots of brochures for photographers but when I got home and went through all of them Xcite photo really did have the most reasonable price while still offering so much.
My husband and I are beyond happy with the work that Andrew and his team did. They went above and beyond and did such an amazing job at capturing such an important day. Andrew and his team were focused and professional the entire time. Andrew even did a better job than my wedding coordinator at making sure that the schedule that I had was being kept. Andrew and his team were the most amazing vendor to work with! They arrived to our wedding day on time and so easily moved through the room capturing getting ready photos, we barely knew they were there. AMAZING.. AMAZING.. AMAZING!!!! Andrew and his wife are an amazing team and go above and beyond to make sure all of you wedding photo wants and needs are met to the fullest!! My grandpa had passed in January and there were a few things I had to honor him; Andrew and his wife made extra effort to make sure all the special moments were captured as if he was there!!.. Also I got married on the 4Th of July; prior to I had asked Andrew to make sure he got some good fire work shots.. WOW. is all I have to say after seeing the out come. We can’t say enough good things, Andrew and James were fantastic. From the very first contact with the XCITE photo team all the way to the end they made everything easy and handled everything very professionally. Our photos are beyond beautiful, we are in love with them. So much we had a hard time choosing favorites. Guests are even raving about the quality of the photos. We are not photogenic people either so we were a little worried but they managed to capture us beautifully, and somehow manage to not make it feel like we were taking 1000 pictures. Andrew and his team (Kristen, Katy, and Matt) were amazing to work with and are wonderful people. Choosing a photographer and videographer for your wedding day is daunting. There can be a lot of options and price points that are grabbing for your attention. We are so glad we picked Xcite Photos and Films. Their work is the highest quality and their prices are very reasonable, I don't think they can be beat in that department. We were very happy with the photos and videos that they captured for us on our wedding day. We had our engagement photos at Cantigny Park with Kristen, our getting ready photos at Hotel Arista, and our ceremony and reception at Meson Sabika with Andrew, Katy, and Matt. Andrew and his team all had prior experience taking photos at all of these places. That experience was so valuable as it made the process so easy on our end. They knew where to go and coached us in the poses we would take for the photos. The process was efficient and fun! My wife and I are so awkward in front of a camera and do not consider ourselves photogenic yet Andrew and his team made us feel comfortable and did their magic in making the photos turn out so well. They are very relaxed, calm, patient, and accommodating in the midst of what is a very chaotic wedding day and meeting our expectations and staying on time. They even captured our Tea Ceremony during our wedding day and have done a lot of weddings with different customs and traditions. Their photobooth and props were also a huge hit at our wedding. They are great professionals.
The turn around time for our photos was extremely fast, within two weeks of our wedding. And our video came out in three weeks. That was greatly appreciated!
When you hire Andrew, you know you are hiring someone who genuinely cares about you and your wedding day and capturing the best moments for you. For our wedding day specifically, it was raining/drizzling on and off all day. We planned to have our ceremony outdoors and it was not projected to rain come our ceremony time. But with the uncertain weather, our venue wanted to respect our request to have it outdoors but was hinting it would be best for it to be indoors for their staff which was understandable. Andrew nudged us to have it outdoors and wanted to honor our original vision for our wedding. We ended up having our ceremony outdoors and it turned out so beautiful and the pictures also turned out fantastic. A lifetime of thank you's from us to them. We highly recommend Xcite Photos and Films! -

Professional, Friendly Team and Great Pictures!
My husband and I got married on 5/27/22 and had the pleasure of working with Xcite Photo. Our main photographer Kristen, second photographer Taylor, and videographer Dan were AMAZING! All three of them were so nice and kind. They captured amazing pictures of our day and were patient with us as we were pulled in different directions throughout the day/night. We also worked with Andrew from Xcite for our engagement shoot, another exceptional experience with him as he captured such beautiful pictures for our engagement around downtown Naperville. I literally cannot say enough about Xcite. They were so understanding and flexible when we had to move our date because of Covid concerns and even photographed our elopement that we had on our original wedding date. They just photographed our bigger wedding this past weekend, and although we obviously haven't got the photos back yet, I'm so confident they'll be amazing based on the photos we received last year. We clicked with our lead photographer Phil immediately at our engagement shoot and have had him working with us since. He's professional, organized, and takes great photos but is also calm, kind, and funny. This year we also had Ben as a videographer and Chris as a second photog, and they were both great too. The photo booth was a great addition and we loved looking through the book. You will not find a better photography company and they're also so much more affordable and flexible than most other photographers we researched. Love love love xcite ❤️ -

Highly recommend!!!
I chose XcitePhoto because their portfolio looked good and their pricing was so reasonable and boy am I glad I did!!! Andrew and Dianna were so fun and easy to work with! My husband and I are both camera shy and hate most pictures of ourselves but they made the process so comfortable and effortless by giving us direction and suggestions while also staying out of the way and capturing some truly beautiful candid moments. We're currently in the process of choosing pictures for our wedding album that came with the package we purchased and we're having the hardest time! Waaaay too many good options, which is a great problem to have! Highly recommend!!! -

My wedding was three weeks ago in the suburbs of Chicago. Andrew and his team were absolutely incredible. Throughout the whole process, he was very responsive and we even had a few zoom calls/phone calls to discuss details prior to the big day. He worked well with all of the other vendors and also was very enjoyable to work with as a bride. The videos/pictures he sent were amazing and allowed us to relive the wedding day. I was impressed that he was able to complete them within less than a month of the wedding. I chose Andrew because he did some of my friends weddings, and I am so happy that I took their recommendation. I would also highly recommend Xcite Photo To any of my family or friends for their wedding or other event where photo/videography is needed. -

Amazing!!!
Choosing Xcite photography was the best Chose I made for my wedding!! (Besides the groom of course lol) Andrew was so nice and super responsive from the beginning! The pictures and videography was seriously even better than I could of imagined. Andrew and his team are so talented and made our day so special! We were absolutely thrilled everything Xcite Photo had to offer for our wedding day photos. The package was so reasonably priced for the amazing value we got. The team was so professional on the day and made us feel so comfortable. They also were so response during our planning process and really took all the stress off of us. Our pictures and video were delivered within 3-5 weeks of the wedding day and they turned out absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend them for all your photo/video needs. -

Xcite Photo best of the best!!
I selected for Xcite photo for my wedding photography and videography and I could not be any happier. Andrew and his team were nothing but professional and made me feel at ease on the most important day of my life. The quality of the photos were beyond spectacular. They have a great eye for picking certain sceneries for background that make the day even more memorable. One thing I have to recommend, is the videography package where they make a mini movie set to music. I love, love, love my little movie. Everyone I have shown it too has said it is spectacular. I have watched it everyday for the past month, I just can't get enough. They pick the best parts of your wedding to put in this movie so you can easily relive the moments whenever you want. If I have another instance where I need a photographer, believe me, these guys will be getting the call again. -

Unmatched Photography & Videography on all levels!
We had the honor of working with Andrew and his team for our wedding in October of 2021. He also did our engagement session pre-wedding and was an absolute breeze to work with! We booked with him for photography and videography for our special day and could not be happier with the way things turned out! The photos...amazing, The video... perfection! There is a package for every price point and there are many different add-on options as well. Andrew and his team truly have a passion for this business and it shows in their quality of work! I'd recommend them over and over and over again! His timeline for getting photos and videos back is not even comparable to other companies out there. I had my entire album of photos back in under 2 weeks and my video was to me in about a month.. that is crazy fast! Andrew and his group also had such a laid-back and calming presence. They had no limits and never said no to anything I asked... such an amazing company. If you're thinking about booking.. just do it already - you cannot go wrong! -

We had the honor of working with Andrew and his crew for our wedding in August. We had photography, videography, and also had him bring in a photo booth. Working with Andrew was a breeze, he did our engagement shoot and our wedding. We are ecstatic with how the photos came out. The pictures he took were on point and absolutely breathtaking. On top of capturing everything we wanted, he was quick to get our pictures back to us. Andrew was professional and was very fluid with taking pictures on our big day, therefore, no time was wasted. Amazing, amazing, amazing!!
We were so lucky Andrew and his team were available for our wedding on 7/24/21! We were a Covid couple who had to reschedule and we’re so happy Xcite Photo could still work with us. They were professional, creative with wedding poses and efficient in getting our photos back to us quickly after the wedding. Andrew and his team are AMAZING! Not only did we use him in our wedding, but we've seen his work in numerous of our friends' weddings. Xc!te came as a recommendation from another friend married two years before my husband and I, and we're so happy we followed our friend's advice. Andrew was our first and only photographer we visited with. The packages offered were exactly what we were looking for and the prices are beyond fair. You would be missing out if you don't go with Xc!te.
We love the videos and the pictures captured! We're so thrilled with our wedding album, too. It's very tough to narrow down the pictures because of the high quality work put into them. -

Our plan was to do a very small wedding and initially I was even debating hiring a photographer. I cannot say how glad I am that we decided to do so and that we chose Andrew. From the first time we spoke with him he was kind, engaging and responsive. We scheduled a Facetime call and he took time to walk us through the services, the plan and answer all of our questions. On the wedding day, we did getting ready photos, bride & groom in DT Naperville, family & ceremony. Andrew made it fun, easy and exciting. My family couldn't be here for the wedding and he was sensitive to that and captured awesome shots of our live transmission. Just got the photos back this week and we could not be happier with the work Andrew has done for us. -

We hired Xcite Photo for our wedding on 9/5/20, and we were extremely impressed by the talent and professionalism of the entire team! Even in these unprecedented times due to Covid-19, the team was able to capture all of the important moments and get pictures and videos of everyone present at the wedding! The finished product is amazing, and we were highly impressed by the quality of the photos and videos! (strongly recommend getting the video package as well as the short montage video!). We both felt the prices for all of the packages offered were very fair, in comparison to their competition. As part of the package, we also received an engagement photo session and we were thrilled with the pictures! I am completely blown away by Andrew and his team at Xcite photo. What originally attracted me to using Xcite, was their affordable and reasonable pricing for both photography & video! What I did not know was that I had a team of TWO extremely skilled photographers and a videographer. Andrew has been extremely helpful and professional throughout the whole process, via text messages and e-mail when I had questions on timeline, upgrades etc. The day of, his team was on time and ready to work. They were there until after 11:00pm until I finally told him he could head home! It was great that he was willing to stay to get footage up until the last song. He was so communicative and that is so important for a bride that has 100 details to plan! He even told me before he sent me some sneak peaks from the wedding. When I thought of sneak peaks, I thought maybe, 10-15 photos but no! His team edited and sent us 130 photos within the first two weeks of our wedding and they were BEAUTIFUL! I got my full photography right at the 5 week mark, which he let me know was coming through the day before, and I received over 1300 photos to choose from, all of which we love endlessly! I had mentioned to Andrew to please capture candid moments of our friends and family instead of just staged pictures and it truly looks like all of the pictures have raw emotion! I am blown away. I received my "montage" today, about a 3.5 minute video and I have cried and rewatched it about 10 times already. They really captured the most important moments and my full video is ready for pick up next week! I can't rave enough about Andrew and his team. Their customer service, pricing and most importantly product is 5 star. I am so grateful that I chose Xcite for my special day, now I have amazing product to look back on forever! DO NOT HESITATE to book this amazing group! -
