Carrie and her team are amazing. They were very attentive and responded quickly throughout the planning process. The Venue is beautiful and our friends and family loved staying there for the weekend of activities and celebrations. It made it so much fun and special for us!!
We had a few hiccups throughout the weekend but the staff was great and got everything taken care of quickly and went out of there way to make everyone comfortable and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. We didn’t book any activities prior to the weekend however they still found a way to accommodate some added fun and got the go carts up and running for our guests. The adults are still talking about how much fun they had at Wonder Valley that weekend. I couldn’t be happier with them. -

This venue was amazing!!! Carrie and Carolyn made the planning process so much easier than I thought it was going to be, and were so great to work with. The venue was beyond beautiful. Our guests kept talking about how great the food was as well. Wonder valley was a thousand perfect worth the price. It is a great deal. We loved how convenient all the onsite lodging was as well. The wonder valley team really worked their magic so I could have my dream wedding. The whole experience wonder valley provided was just amazing. I would recommend to anyone and everyone. So many positive things to say! -

Wonder Valley is where my husband and I were married and celebrated our 10th anniversary. They are a fabulous venue and have a superb staff. Everyone at the resort is kind, friendly and extremely accommodating. When it comes to hosting an event at Wonder Valley, the event coordinators and team are very well organized and communicative to make sure your event or special occasion runs smoothly. Not only that, the resort is so beautiful. It feels like a hidden gem in the middle of Central Valley. -

I reached out to the resort over 2 years ago when we started looking for venues. Ultimately, I came back to Wonder Valley and decided to schedule a consultation. We chose Wonder Valley because its not just a wedding venue, it’s a family owned resort, maintained year-a-round for different camps and events. It is a place that will be available to us for years to come, we can spend Valentines Day here, or even our anniversary! There are tons of beautiful venues, but nothing that felt this personable. We met with Carrie during our consultation and we were lucky enough to have her as our day of coordinator and our go to girl every day leading up to our Wedding day.
Carrie is a wonderful person! She is calm, collected, has great ideas, and has great resource recommendations for additional wants/needs.
Carrie and her staff communicated well with us, and made sure we were always on track with updated invoices, arranging the food tasting, and planning meeting. They were available to us when we had additional questions and we were also able to visit the venue if we wanted, we just had to call and let them know we were coming.
*In addition to this venue, you will need to hire a florist, photographer, and DJ.
We chose to have our rehearsal dinner catered by the resort and we also stayed the night before the wedding at the resort. I felt this helped us all unwind and get those nerves out before the big day.
Dinner was good, they had the room decorated for us, and made more than enough food! After dinner, we were able to walk around the resort, check out the reception hall, and the boys even managed to fish in the pond. I met Greg who was available all night for any needs or concerns we had. There were gazebos and nice patio furniture in front of our rooms, we were outside laughing and having a great time until 1 in the morning! From where we were sitting, we could Greg hard at work, setting up the reception hall and making sure everything was in place! I thought this was so cool and it helped make the wedding day less rushed.
The day of our wedding, the girls and I headed to the bridal suite. It was EARLY and we all stayed up way too late. We met Johnny who opened the room for us, apparently he could tell we were tired because he brought us fresh coffee and creamer! LOL He was very kind and happy to help. He also provided the iced water, and ice for our bottles.
Later in the morning Carrie showed up and was ready to help in anyway she could. She made sure the additional patio furniture we ordered, was where we wanted it, she made sure the florist had what they needed, checked in with the cook, and made sure our sentimental items were in their places as well. Her attitude is always on point, she’s great! Carrie realized we did not receive our petals for the flower girl to use so she and another employee picked white petals off the roses in the garden. Which was appreciated because I had already accepted the fact that we didn’t have other options. As you can tell, hiring an additional coordinator isn’t necessary. Every step of the way was calm and enjoyable because every staff member had our backs.
The reception hall is big enough for a lot of guests, and no one feels crowded. Our food was really good, the chef made sure the meat was cooked to our request. (Before the wedding you will have a food tasting, this includes appetizer choices, salads, sides, and main course options). The bar was full of options and fairly priced. We chose to do a cash bar to save some money. Our bartended made THE BEST watermelon mojito, highly recommend requesting it. We had a great time on the dance floor and even got a dance out of one of the servers, she kept in classy and fun. The only thing I recommend is paying extra to have the night last longer. Also, delicate a family member or wedding party person to clean out the bridal suite for you, so you aren’t ending your night with figuring out who’s stuff is who’s.
At the end of the night we stayed in the newlywed cabin! The cabin is pretty small but it is cute and away from the regular hotel rooms.
We wrapped up our wedding weekend the next morning by meeting all of our family and friends, who stayed the night, at the breakfast lodge. Breakfast was buffet style and was everything we needed after a party night.
As you can see, I could go on and on about this place LOL
I truly value meaning full relationships and memories and Wonder Valley did that for us. It’s nice to know that this beautiful venue will always be there for us if we want to take a walk down memory lane, or just spend the night away from our busy lives. -

Wedding was better than I could have imagined
LOVED working with Wonder Valley. Carrie made sure our wedding was perfect and I didn’t have to stress about anything. Had so much fun and the pictures turned out so gorgeous! So glad we went with Wonder Valley. -

Simply amazing
Wonder valley resort was the most perfect venue for our wedding. The people that worked with us were so accommodating, professional, and attentive. They made our wedding into a true fairy tale experience. We could not have asked for anything more. From start to finish they took the stress off us. Made every accommodations we needed. We are very thankful for all of the staff at Wonder Valley Resort. -

Everything I ever wanted!
I always knew I wanted to get married outside, and this was the place that made it happen. I loved that everything was provided for us at Wonder Valley. They set us up with a Bridal Suite and a Honeymoon cottage for the night of! Everything was on time, and the staff and coordinator rocked. Loved every second of my wedding. Plus side, it was beautiful from every angle. -

From the first day we looked at the venue, to the day after the wedding, they were nothing short of incredible. They coordinated with all my vendors, worked with my budget, and anything I needed they provided, right down to producing a beautiful picture frame for me to borrow because I had forgotten it. I had a beautiful wedding, and I would have it there again in a heart beat. -

Considering the craziness that is 2020, Wonder Valley really made our wedding day as perfect as it could be. There was some break down in communication between us and the wedding team but that can be chalked up to COVID-19 measures. Otherwise, Wonder Valley was the perfect venue. We really liked that it was all-inclusive, making it a million times easier to plan. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. For our guests who stayed on-site, they really enjoyed all of the activities that were included with the room. Lastly, the day of coordinator, Ger was absolutely amazing. She made everything run smoothly, helped us communicate with our vendors, and even helped me bustle my dress. Wonder Valley is a one-stop-shop wedding venue and I couldn't be happier. -

Courtney Sent on 05/08/2018Overall the venue is wonderful. There is so much to do and see and the wedding garden is naturally beautiful. The staff were accommodating and treated our guests great. Whenever we needed help with moving items they were always there to help.

Catrina Sent on 11/18/2017I had planned my wedding three years in advance, so over the course of time things changed at my Wonder Valley, but Carolyn and Madyson were always attentive and answered my questions, keeping me updated. Overall I had a very good experience, there was only a couple things I was disappointed by. One was my invoice, there were a couple of discrepancies that I had to point out, they eventually were fixed, I just was somewhat frustrated for a bit, and finally there was a problem with “My” food. I’m a vegetarian and have multiple people in my family that are vegetarians, so I made sure I attended the tasting put on by Wonder Valley to ensure the dinner for the wedding was perfect. We didn’t want to choose a vegetarian meal for everyone, so we chose a meat one and I asked if for myself and the 4 others attending my wedding could have an alternate plate, they said yes. I even asked if it would be extra just let me know. So I chose creamy tortellini, it was delicious and had bell peppers in it. I love it, and I told every vegetarian what their food would be. On the day of the wedding my food was brought to my table and although it was vegetarian it was not what I had ordered, it was a ravioli with marinara sauce, and the salad was supposed to be a Greek Salad and it was one I hadn’t liked at the tasting with a strawberry dressing. Obviously I was extremely disappoint especially having not eaten much that day because I was getting ready for the wedding, I ate about two pieces and that was it. At the time I didn’t say anything to the staff, because I knew at that point nothing could be done, but I just couldn’t understand the point of having me attend a tasting if it wasn’t going to be the same for the wedding, or even what I had chose. They did well in accommodating the fact that I was a vegetarian, but I feel like if I couldn’t pick my own dish they should have just told me. Other then that my guest that it was beautiful and I was happy.

Great Venue
This was a beautiful place to have a ceremony wedding. My fiance at the time instantly fell in love with the water view so that is the reason we ultimately went with this venue. The best part about the venue for me and my husband was the food. Food 100% exceeded my expectations and guests were pleased.
I'd say the reception hall is a little on the small and plain side and doesn't really have that wedding vibe feeling. You would really have to dress the hall up if you wanted it to hold up with the beautiful pond view. There were a few hiccups on the day of and days leading up to the wedding but they were minor and Wonder Valley staff were responsive and very accommodating so I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with. My only complaint was that I feel we didn't really get the bar services that we had paid for. We paid for a 4 hour open bar package for 140 people and some of my guests had said the bar didn't carry some of the drinks on our menu or was told they had run out of particular drinks within the first 10 minutes of opening. The Bartender also seemed unhappy and made several comments throughout the night. Mind you, we didn't make up drinks on our bar menu. All drinks on the menu were Wonder valley's drinks so it was just disappointing because the open bar was supposed to be the perk of our night. Other than that, everything went pretty smooth.

The venue is a little bit on the “not pretty” side.. the area was small, the dance room looked very old and outdated, same for the chairs, everyone had to eat inside. I was looking for a venue where everything is outside, including the dancing
