Best Western Conference Center

My son's wedding reception (3/6/2021) was held at the Best Western Conference Center in Westiminster, MD. My son's fiance had to change the venue in January due to the local fire halls not being able to open to functions as originally thought due to pandemic. Best Western worked with my son's fiance to provide a suite for bridal party to get ready and provide the Conference Center facilities for the reception. Our 40 guests were able to socially distance and all felt safe and comfortable. Shout out to Victoria, one of the managers, who was also our bartender for the evening and did an outstanding job! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding reception venue.

Best Western Westminster Catering and Conference Center

As newlyweds on a limited budget, the package deal from Best Western Catering and Conference Center in Westminster was just what we were looking for. They setup and clean up for us, the caterer, bar, and cake were on site, and the decorations were covered with the package. I was able to choose my colors, table decorations, table numbers, picture booth props and other wedding "one time only" materials. We were so lucky to have an on-call wedding coordinator who was there to help bustle my dress, make sure everything ran smoothly and help ease my nerves. Our wedding reception was magical thanks to the Best Western Catering and Conference Center in Westminster ❤️

My daughter just had a wedding over Labor Day weekend. (8-2-17) Due to weather ,there had to be changes in her ceremony site. Cammy Hipp the general manager and the catering manager, Macy ,couldn't have been more wonderful. Food was fantastic. Atmosphere terrific. All of the decorations were done to perfection with my daughter's request being done. . Great value and wonderful service by all the employees. Cammy went above and beyond to "accommodate" all of our needs and changes. She and Macy made the wedding a huge success !!! I loved this venue! The price was great and the wedding planner, Jenn, was absolutely wonderful. She put great effort into making our day as special, and as stress free as possible. The food was great and they did an awesome job with the decorations.

I am extremely pleased with the Westminster Catering Center. Jenn was very professional and returned my call in a timely manner. Provide assistance when needed. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. Food was great!!!

My use was for a Birthday Party. I found the Banquet Planner to be very professional and thorough. The staff at the party was very helpful and attended to all of our needs. I would recommend Best Western for any venue of this type.

The Best Western Conference Center handles so much of the work for you! You basically pick your menu items, design your cake and drop off your decorations. They literally do everything else for you. I dropped off my decorations the day before my rehearsal and the place was decorated above and beyond my expectations before the rehearsal. Jenn and Mandie make you feel like your wedding is their top priority and they want you to be happy. If you are looking for an attentive place that handles the majority of the work for a great price, this is the place to go.

This venue was the best!!! Everything was wonderful, just as I wanted. Jenn, was great. She saw my vision for my reception and made it happen. The honeymoon suite that was included was wonderful also.

The staff at the WCC is absolutely amazing. I have been an event planner for over 20 years and their food and service could rival some four star hotels I've worked with in the past. Jenn and Mandy what can I say their event management skills are on point, very hospitable ladies and would be pleased to work with them in the future!

Murphy and I are incredibly thankful that we chose the Best Western Catering & Conference Center as our wedding reception venue. We chose to plan our wedding during a busy time in our lives and we were amazed with how stress-free it was to plan our wedding. Jenn was accessible to us via telephone, email, and in person and was extremely flexible as she worked around our busy schedules.

Another great thing about the Best Western is that so many essential aspects of the reception are included, such as the wedding cake, table numbers, and centerpieces. We were able to plan a beautiful, yet affordable wedding. We were also impressed with the various locations (the lobby area, outside by the gazebo, etc.) that our photographer was able to capture a variety of pictures, especially considering that we were married during Hurricane Joaquin. In addition, it was convenient that our guests, many of which were from out of town, were able to stay at the hotel.

On our wedding day, the reception ran very smoothly. There were a few minor issues that arose – but we, as the bride and groom, were not aware of them at all. They were handled efficiently and professionally. We were truly able to enjoy our wedding reception; Jenn and the other staff members ensured that our reception proceeded without an issue. Our wedding day was unforgettable and better than we ever imagined. We would highly recommend the Best Western Catering & Conference Center as a wedding reception venue!

Jenn, Stacey, and staff gave us an amazing wedding! I had about 4 months to plan the event and Jenn was with me every step of the way. She was available every time I called or stopped by and, if not, she got back to me as soon as she could. I appreciated her expertise, creativity and flexibility as we planned the menu and the decor. The evening of the wedding was flawless. The room was absolutely beautiful, including the wedding cake, and our guests loved the food!
Jenn and Stacey understand customer service and exceeded my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend this vendor.

I hosted a 50th anniversary party for my parents at the Best Western Westminster Catering and Conference Center on 10/17/15. From the very beginning of the planning stages Jennifer Williams was helpful, understanding and willing to go the extra mile to make this event memorable. The night of the event I couldn't have asked for better service. Everyone working the event was courteous, attentive and went well beyond to make the night special. Kudos to Stacey Brown, Banquet Manager and Amanda Rummel and Carolyn (my bartender) who made sure we were all taken care of and happy.

We decided to go with Best Western Westminster Catering and Conference Center for our ceremony and reception due to their very reasonable package they provide over vendors directly in Northern Virginia. Also, many of our guests were traveling from New York so the commute was a little easier for them. We didn't know much about the town when we first ventured out there but we were quickly surprised at the "home feel" you get from the town and venue. My husband and I were completely blown away with the quality of service we received from every single staff member throughout the entire weekend; they strived to make sure we were having the best service possible. Jenn Williams, Stacey and Mandy were extremely patient and detailed oriented about making sure the ceremony, decorations and reception was exactly how we had envisioned it. They work extremely well as a team and we are truly grateful for their attentiveness to us the entire weekend. They offered reasonable rates to our out of town guests and we had so many compliments about how convenient the hotel accommodations were in relation to the ceremony/reception. We also got several compliments about the quality of food that was served and how tasty the cake was! We hope you decided to check out this venue because you will be pleasantly surprised with the exceptional service you will receive! Thanks again, Jenn! :) You are the best!

Jenn was extremely easy to work with and made the wedding planning process easy to handle. She explained everything and made sure nothing was missed. Her experience with weddings was helpful in making our wedding day stress free. The food at the reception was delicious and filling! The best western was the only reception venue that had the 3 tier vases available to use for free, I wasn't able to find that in any other venues. Everybody had a great time, I would definitely recommend them to anybody who is getting married.

My inlaws are in poor health and we wanted to let them know how much their friends and family loved them! We were looking high and low for a venue and we lived in MD I remember passing this place many times. We now live in GA so I had to plan this party from a distance. Jenn Williams was a wonderful help, she sent me floorplans and pictures of the ball rooms and pictures from different events that people had there! This was such a great help, because I really needed to book this place site unseen with only a month and 1/2 to go before the party. It was also Easter Weekend, be were so fortunate they had our date open. She sent me pictures of different colored linens if I wanted and I did. Jenn also let me set up the room however we wanted so we had food stations spread through-out the room. We ordered the Italian buffet and I was honestly surprised at how delicious the food was (I'm Italian so I'm a bit of an Italian food snob) but I loved it and so did our guests. We had the beer and wine bar, and our bar tender was a delightful woman! We made a few more changes on the day of the party and each change was greeted with a can do attitude and smile on their face. This was a very emotionally day for our family friends and guests of honor and I was so glad we had the awesome team at the Best Western helping us to create an amazing day that will be a part of our families memories for the rest of our lives!

Our wedding day was perfect! Working with Jenn and her assistants was such a relaxed, stress free process, which is exactly how I wanted it to go. We only had 3 1/2 months to plan our entire wedding which created a lot of short deadlines and all the detail to fall into place as quickly as possible. Every question I had I received a timely response, whether it was the answer or a direction to start with. We were able to use a suite that was available at the hotel for my girls and I to spend the morning/early afternoon in while we prepared for the day, probably one of the most helpful accommodations when a wedding starts at 2!

All of our center pieces were provided to us by Westminster Catering, another check of the list from the beginning. I was able to have our florist fill the vases with the flowers of our choice to make beautiful center pieces for all the tables.

The only constructive criticism I could provide was during the delivery of dinner. I noticed as well as heard a few guest complain that it took quite a while for dinner to be served to all the tables. we did have a large wedding and there were a lot of plates to get out but I did feel that part could have gone a little smoother.

Overall, I could not have asked for a more accommodating (Jenn even got my drink for me at the wedding!!), friendly and enjoyable place to work with while planning the best day of our lives:)

Westminster Catering Center was extremely professional, accommodating, prepared, knowledgeable, and helpful from day one, especially Jennifer Williams. Thank you to Best Western Catering and Conference Center and Jenn Williams! Our Wedding Reception was everything and more then I could have imagined! The staff was attentive, accommodating and EVERY detail was perfect! Our favors were even tucked elegantly in our guest's napkins. This venue is PERFECT for the Bride and Groom who want a wedding reception that is unhurried, perfectly detailed and completely personalized for your special day! The complimentary night stay in the Honeymoon suite was a much needed and appreciated end to a wonderful evening!

We couldn't have been more please with Jenn Williams and the staff at Best Western for making our daughters wedding reception a beautiful and memorable occasion. Everyone was very helpful and courteous. Jenn was always ready and willing to help with all our questions and anything we needed. Since this was a second wedding for me and I have planned 2 weddings for my daughters, I am a perfect person to ask about quality, professionalism, etc. I could not have asked for a better experience with Jenn Williams as someone to help control my wedding reception. She was always one step ahead of me with questions, suggestions and make decisions when I was not available. I had given her that responsibility after just working with her for about 1 month. She is one of your best assets, if not your best. I had heard about her before we even went to Best Western for our first meeting. I, obviously, can't say enough positive things about her.

We were glad we had our post wedding reception with best western. This was our 3rd wedding reception but they made us feel very special. The staff were very helpful and courteous, they will make a way to cater your needs.

My wife and I visited several venues before deciding on the Westminster Catering Center(WCC). Initially we selected WCC based on the package offered, value, and overall cooperative attitude. The wedding planner Jenn Williams was super to work with. She advised and assisted with things from linens to placecards, menu and timing. We used the WCC table decorations and Jenn guided us with additional decorating ideas and assisted making our custom photo backdrop. In addition, our guest list grew and we changed from their smaller to larger room, she was right there and helped with the floor plan adjustments.
My wife and I had a great time and our guests did too. We have had nothing but positive comments from our guests about the food served and service of the staff. Guests said the hor d'oeuvres were brought to them, and food was served promptly and politely. Portions size was good and food was tasty, even our most difficult guests said things like coffee was refilled with regularity and had nothing negative to say.
During our special evening the staff at WCC was just on their game, seeming to be everywhere all the time. Between the cocktale hour and ceremony my wife and I had a change of clothing scheduled. As I struggled with my tuxedo accessories (cuff links/tie/etc)staff members from WCC were suddenly there and began helping me. Later my wife, a water drinker, informed me that many times during our evening a staff member would show up with a fresh glass of water for her. And at the very end as our guests were leaving, the staff was already loading a cart of our flowers, gifts, clothes etc and brought all of these items to our car for us. WCC, Jenn and her staff, really made our wedding that much more special for us. We are so glad of our venue selection.

We had a lovely wedding and reception thanks to Jenn Williams' guidance and support. Jenn was very responsive and flexible, which is one of the reason's we chose the venue. The Chambers looked beautiful based on some added touches that Jenn and her staff added. The staff was very attentive to my husband and me. We were very pleased with how the event turned out. My daughters wedding was held at the Best Western in Westminster MD. One and half years ago we went to see the event planner Jenn Williams and from the very first day, Jenn has been on top of everything for this wedding. She will always answer every question, always friendly, detail oriented, accommodating, I can not say enough great things about the event planner, Jenn's assistant was great, the General Manager of the Best Western, Tammy was prenominal on Saturday, helping to make sure things went well. The food was delicious, great presentation. We had a lot of details that we wanted for our daughters wedding with decorations and everything was done perfectly. The servers and bar tenders were friendly, knowledgeable and ready to help.

Cakes by Susie , she is the cake person for the Best Western, did a incredible job with the detail my daughter wanted on her cake and 3 layers all different tasted great.

One Rock Studio was our photographers and they were awesome and on top of everything. I can not wait to see the pictures.

Mike Stencil Videography was on top of everything perfect placement of cameras that did not impede on anything. I can not wait to see the video.

Our DJ Sis played every song that my daughter and new husband wanted plus took request and kept the guest dancing all night.

The Best Western Hotel was awesome the staff was very helpful with everything.

Again, if you are looking for somewhere to have any event this is the place but, Weddings they take the cake from small to big wedding which our was. I have been to Weddings at some of the top places around Maryland, this one was done with professionalism and exactly how we all wanted to be. Thanks to Jenn Williams.

We cannot begin to express how thrilled we were with our wedding. I had a lot of questions and changed my mind on many things and Jen Williams was unbelievably patient and kind. It was an absolutely perfect wedding everything was exactly the way we wanted it and we could not have asked for more. It truly was the wedding of our dreams. I chose Westminster Catering Center for my wedding because it allowed me to have my whole event in one place and it was reasonably priced. I worked with Jenn Williams to plan it. She was helpful, knowledgable, and responded to all my questions quickly. The ceremony, reception, and brunch were all in the catering center and my guests and I stayed in the hotel next door. The tables looked beautiful and everything went as planned. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was pretty good too. I would definitely recommend Westminster Catering Center to someone looking for a nice, less stressful wedding venue in the Westminster area.

Jenn & Christina were great!!! Every step from the moment we booked the venue for our wedding, I had no worries about Jenn & Christina. From cake testing to picking out linens and dinner, they made it seamless and I appreciated that because I had a lot more to worry about. I would recommend this venue to anyone for any occassion. John & I plan to have a "wedding party" for our friends and family that couldn't make it and you can believe that we will use this venue again.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Best Western in Westminster. The ceremony was outdoors in front of the gazebo. The flowers were lively and the garden area was well maintained. The gazebo made for nice photographs as well. The reception room was beautiful. The room itself is very classy with crown molding and neutral color walls. The carpet is also pleasing. Our sweetheart table was placed in front of a bay window with trees outside of the window. The tables included centerpieces with floating candles which warmed our atmosphere. For our meals, we chose shrimp pesto and roast sirloin with mashed potatoes and brocolli/cauliflower veggies. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. The kitchen was able to prepare food for everyone including friends who were vegetarian and vegan. The vegan dish was reported to be very filling. Thank you for being so accomodating with a hearty vegan dish! The cake included in the package was very tasty and decorated beautifully! All the staff was very polite and helpful. Our event planner was on top of her game and made sure each detail was documented and attended to. After the night ended, we stayed in our complimentary hotel room. The room was clean from top to bottom. Housekeeping did an amazing job of preparing our room for us.

Westminster Catering and Jenn Williams truly made our wedding planning much easier than it could have been. Their wedding packages are so complete that we had everything we needed for our wedding all in one place, including a beautiful cake and a room for the night. First of all Jenn was so helpful and easy to work with. On the actual wedding day they took care of EVERYTHING!!! It was the most beautiful reception and im not just sayiing that because it was mine. I got sooooo many compilments from my guests about how great the serving staff was and how beautiful everything was. I would definaly reccommend the chanpagne overlays and chair covers. They are so gorgeous and make such a soft, sublte statement and go with ay decor!

I would highly recommend the Westminster Conference Center for your wedding or any other event. The staff was amazing, met every need, and made sure that our wedding was perfect. They decorated the room with all of our special requests and accommodated our every wish. The food was outstanding and the service was top notch. My husband and I felt like we got much more than we paid for. There was not one thing that we would have changed about our wedding. The WCC made room for our steel drum band, DJ and made sure we still had a large dance floor. The best part about having our wedding at the WCC was that we blocked rooms. After the wedding we all walked to our room. The following morning we all had a complimentary breakfast. Thank you WCC for treating us as wonderful as you did. This was the most beautiful wedding I could have ever imagined. My husband and I were married here on Sept. 4th 2010. We also had our reception here. We stayed an extra day in the suite that was included in the package. All we had to do was party and have fun. The staff at The Best Western was so wonderful. My husband and I were so grateful of the friendliness and flexibility of everyone involved. We had the best time, We have gotten nothing but wonderful compliments on how much all of our family and friends loved the wedding and reception. Jennifer and her assistant Kim were so helpful and sweet. Also one of the ladies at the front desk Casey was so wonderful and helpful. I wish I could add pictures of the wonderful work they did for us. I recommend this place to ALL brides or anyone needing an event space in the future. This event group and hotel is outstanding!

Great place to have a wedding and reception. Lovely venue, good food and friendly staff. Space is custom configured based on your needs (bar location, DJ, dance floor, number of tables, etc.) Lots of color choices for linens (tablecloths, napkins, chair covers). Wedding package comes with a nice cake, champagne toast for all, room for bride and groom, appetizers and a nice meal (salad, entre and drinks). Also, a great place if you have out of town guests since the Best Western has rooms onsite.

The size and quality of the venue was a very good value. Jenn and Mandy were both very helpful. All of their suggestions were right on. I had never been to the venue prior to the event. They gave suggestion that were very helpful in carrying out my vision for our rehearsal party making it a great success. They did not try to sell me additional food and service that were not needed. The banquet manager met with me early in the day of the event. He was there during entire party. It was clear that he want to met our every need. I would have no reservations in recommending this venue to anyone looking for a place that provided quality of service and food at a reasonable price.

We had a lot of decorations/props designed to make the rooms look like a 1940's era supper club. Jenn and her team did an excellent job following directions for decorating the rooms. They put everything up and took everything down and we received all our decorations back in good condition. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Jenn and Cristina gave us their advice and professional assistance which resulted in a sophisticated and fun wedding reception for our daughter! Guests made many comments about how beautiful and fun the reception was--they really enjoyed it!
We used the chamber rooms for a buffet dinner, followed by dancing.
Our family is not from this area so we did not have close friends and family to "run, get, and do" for the wedding reception. We also needed convenient and attractive rooms for out of town guests so they could travel from the hotel to the church and then back for the reception.
Our suggestions to you--meet with Jenn and Christina and ask them what they can offer, then make decisions about what you want to do. Keep your mind open to the possibilities instead of arriving with preconceived notions.
Think about your guests! How will the flow of the event work for them?
Respect the Best Western's deadlines for delivering materials for the event. Your event may be one of several being held that week, and they can serve you best when you cooperate with them!

They can put pretty much anything together for you. Make sure to check out the venue before hand and let them know all the details in advance.

I really liked this venue. They were incredibly helpful and flexible. My wedding was the first in my family to be in an actual venue. We had no idea what to do and they walked us through every step of the way. They were never pushy about services they offered.

Excellent value

Event coordinator, Matt, was often difficult to reach, and seemed overwhelmed by the planning process. I actually contacted their cake vendor and found out Matt had never given her our wedding date...could have been a disaster had I not called her. He was away for 2 weeks and not there for our wedding. Banquet manager, Becca, and the staff saved the day and our wedding went off without a hitch. Many compliments on the food from our guests. We chose the venue for it's all inclusive price and availability of lodging. Hotel required 2 nights stay which did not go over well with some guests.

We had a very good experienced, the staff were all accommodating and helpful. They see to it that all the guests were provided what they need. The foods were good and tasteful. We were glad everything went smoothly and on time. It was then a memorable experienced for us.. We thank the bestwestern and staff for all there support to make our day special.

I have to say everything went smoothly and everything look great the food was awesome as well !! One thing I didn't like was that it was very hard to get ahold of someone if we had questions .

Review the buffet services before you book. Timeliness of serving food. Ex, there was a long wait after salad was
served. The trays of meat only had about 8-10 pieces of meat and then guests were waiting for trays to be refilled.

Everything started out very well for me in dealing with the Best Western and Jenn Williams. We met many many times, went over all my specifics, etc. We even met the weekend before to finalize all that we had talked about the whole year prior to my wedding day. Yet on my weddng day everything fell apart. My room was set up completely wrong, my personal wedding planner could not get into the facility to decorate at the agreed upon time, once he was able to get in the room over an hour after the agreed upon time,they were having a blood drive in my room. Yes they were taking blood from people in the same room where my guests would be having my reception only hrs later. And if these things were not bad enough my family members had to tear down the tables that were set up completely wrong because they were told by Best Western staff there was no one to help and Jenn Williams who was my payed wedding consultant had the day off. Yes, had the day off!!!! As if this wasn't enough, my butlered appetizers were ice cold and when asked by a guest why the staff replied, "this is the way they are served." I had no idea that Italian meatball were supposed to be cold when you consume them!!! Also, when it came time for cake cutting there was no one to be found. My husband had to go to the kitchen to get a plate so we could even cut our cake. Yet another responsibility of my paid wedding coordinator. Please do not waste your time or money with these people unless you want to have your wedding day be more stressful then it should be!!!!

Don't expect any real professional courtesy. What a waste of my time and money to go view a venue I wanted to book.
My appointment was at 1230 with Jenn Williams. I arrived early, ten minutes past my appointment time
I asked the guy if he knew what was going on and he phoned her. After waiting another ten was told
