Beautiful Venue & Excellent Staff
We were so pleased to have Westfield Marriott host our wedding. From the very beginning, they were professional, quick to answer questions and provide a tour of the venue. We booked two years in advance to secure the price for our 2024 wedding. We started with a different coordinator and were transferred to another coordinator who was able to read the notes and pick up where we left off with no problem. Scott was an amazing and fun venue coordinator to work with. He went above and beyond to meet our expectations. The staff did an amazing job of serving our guests, setting up the rooms exactly how we had planned, and getting us anything that we needed. The venue is as beautiful inside as outside. We loved that we had options if the weather did not cooperate. The food was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed the tasting ahead of the event - they go above and beyond showcasing what it will look like on your event day. Scott worked very well with our wedding coordinators to help organize everything and make an effective cleanup process after the event. We highly recommend Westfield Marriott - you will not be disappointed if you have an event here!! -

Every moment was a wonderful experience. The staff were very attentive, and were quick to respond to our questions and needs.

Wonderful Wedding Venue
Our whole team at Marriott was wonderful, they worked seamlessly with our day of coordinators to deliver an amazing event from start to finish. The planning process was easy and the team was very flexible with our multiple visits and timezone coordination as we were planning our wedding in Maryland from the West Coast. They were so experienced with indian weddings and lots of our wedding vendors communication flowed easily between our entire team! We are so grateful to Armecia, Stephen and Sharon for making our big day possible! -

Hotel for my wedding
I was looking for a Hotel close to my wedding venue and I found Westfield by Marriott. This hotel is so beautiful, they renovated so looks new. In fall is amazing. The rooms are very comfortable. All my guests loved it -

Fall wedding
Wedding. The venue was beautiful and all of our guests were pleased with the accommodations! Morning after the wedding breakfast was a little different than most buffet breakfasts. Would have liked pancakes bacon sausage instead of all the fruit and yogurts. Eggs were ok -

10/10! Highly recommend! World class service
We held our wedding block here and everything went so smoothly. We stayed here the night of our wedding as well. Monica Flores was so helpful and kind to ensure everything went without a hitch. She even had a sweet handwritten note with delicious chocolate-covered strawberries. What more can you ask for. -

My son's wedding
We conducted my son's wedding on May 4th, 2024 at Westfield. We planned well ahead and hired a wedding coordinator preferred by Marriott event manager Sharon. Marriott staff Sharon, Steve, Nazila and everyone gave us full support through out long planning time. We visited the facility many times. Every time, they helped us tour and discuss our plans. We were supposed to conduct wedding ceremony outside on promenade but due to rain we had to move to inside. This change was done seamlessly and our wedding ceremony became remarkable wedding. Many of our guests told they never attended a wedding conducted so timely, well decorated, strictly religious and with such large attendance. Every piece was meticulously planned and executed. All such success could not have been possible without Marriott staff and facility cooperation. I sincerely thank Sharon, Steve, Nazila, and staff from billing and more. Ours turned out to be a grand wedding and that news spread to so many people. I am sure many would love to conduct their wedding at Marriott.

A majestic venue!
Our wedding at Westfields was nothing short of magical! From the initial planning stages to the grand celebration, the entire experience was seamless and exceeded our expectations. We had initially signed and put down a deposit at another venue. But we attended the Desi Shaadi Showcase and fell in love with Westfields and just had to have our special day there - and since our guest count went way up - this was just perfect for us. We had 3 of our 5 events at Westfield - the nalangu/haldi, the reception, and a 2nd wedding ceremony. The venue itself is a stunning blend of elegance and charm. The well-manicured grounds provided a picturesque backdrop, and the ballroom was the perfect setting for our reception. Every corner of Westfields exudes a sophisticated ambiance that added a touch of luxury to our special day. The staff deserves special commendation. Both Erin and Megan were our fairy godmothers/angels/life savers. Their professionalism and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire process. They both worked closely with us to bring our vision to life, and the service provided by the entire team on the day of the wedding was exceptional. Our guests were impressed by the warm and accommodating staff, making everyone feel truly taken care of. Additionally, the accommodations were top-notch. The bridal suite - which was the presidential suite was amazing, providing the perfect space for getting ready and capturing those precious pre-wedding moments. Choosing Westfileds as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made. The combination of a breathtaking setting, attentive staff, and exceptional amenities created an unforgettable experience for us and our guests. Thank you, Westfields for being the perfect backdrop to the beginning of our happily ever after! -

Indian Fusion Wedding - Westfields Marriott
The team at Westfields did a phenomenal job is making our wedding possible. Erin, Megan and their head chef went above and beyond to help us get the best bang for our buck while accommodating a guest count of 200 people.
We used their tables, chairs, chargers, dance floor, and a few linens to accompany our Indian decor which worked perfectly. They offer a teal and gold charger option which we thought was fun. We used the Sunset Terrace for our ceremony and cocktail hour and then transitioned to the Fairfax ballroom for our Mehndi/Sangeet.
We really liked that space because it accommodated our guest count while having room for our mehndi stations, buffets, favors table and more. It created for an intimate space with room for guest to move about.
They provided us with room blocks that were simple for guest to book, a bridal suite and additional suites for the groomsman.
Fair to mention that the Westfields team has a great relationship with our planner, Dream Shaadi, which made communications even easier.
All in all we can thank the team at Westfields enough for all their help in making our wedding as magical as it was. Thank you!!! -

Love at first sight and the right choice!
It was a pleasure working with Erin and her team during our entire wedding planning process. During our initial venue tour, we knew right away we wanted our ceremony to be at their beautiful Sunset Terrace. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner at the hotel too and the food was amazing. The whole time of the process, Erin responded as quickly as she could and was flexible in what we wanted out of our wedding. The venue was very convenient to us since we had many out of town guests and even quickly filled up our room blocks there! Erin responded swiftly and kindly added more so our guests could reserve their rooms. To no surprise, there were other events also happening at the venue on our wedding day but we still felt our wedding was just as special. Unfortunately, it also rained on our wedding day so we had to use our backup location inside the venue but it was just as beautiful. During the reception, makeup was smeared on my dress from hugging guests and red wine was also spilled on it too - however, one of the servers, Ilse, was quick to respond and did a great job removing these from my dress! We and our guests had a great time on our wedding and cannot thank Erin enough for her contribution to it’s success. -

Best place for your big fat pakistani wedding!
I toured so many places but in the end came back to Westfields to book my wedding. Westfields has to be the best place to host a big wedding. My family has hosted two weddings here with over 300 people each time and the service has been amazing. They helped us carefully plan each and every detail to cater to each guest. Erin and Megan are amazing to work with! -

My Perfect Day
I would get married here again in less than a heartbeat. This Marriott is gorgeous, extremely accessible for traveling guests, and the staff was my true lifeline. Erin is the great event coordinator to ever exist, and all weekend long everyone kept telling me how beautiful everything was and that they now want to get married at a hotel so they everything can be in one beautiful, convenient location. -

Amazing Experience with Stephen at Marriott
We had an amazing wedding at Westfield marriott. We did a hindu/indian style wedding with 350 guests. We did our ceremony on the patio and the reception in the downstairs hall.
The foyer is just gorgeous and the patio was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. Stephen (our hotel coordinator) was super great. They put out our name tags, thank you cards, and table numbers. The set up was perfect and almost everything ran on time. Westfield Marriott just has top of the line service and is amazing. Definitely go for them. -

Smooth sailing for day of event and leading up
This hotel was everything we wanted for our wedding. Working with Erin Rolaf was absolutely incredible. She was super responsive, professional, and flexible with all of our wedding needs. From our room block, to a dinner at the restaurant Friday before the wedding, the entire wedding day, and even a Sunday brunch after the wedding, Erin coordinated everything seamlessly. The hotel was beautiful (even while it was going through some room renovations) and the hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. The Fairfax Dining Room worked perfectly for our needs as well. We did the ceremony in one area of the room, the cocktail hour close by, and the reception in the room as well. The staff was incredible throughout the event and everything looked beautiful. I highly recommend this venue for those looking for a ballroom wedding (especially with on site accommodations), and I recommend Erin Rolaf with 11 out of 10 rating!-

Perfection

A wonderful venue with great service
Our daughter’s wedding was scheduled pre-pandemic. Due to the pandemic it was rescheduled three times. Westfields Marriott was extremely accommodating with each date change. The ceremony and reception could not have been more seamless and we received numerous compliments from guests on the day. We would highly recommend this venue. -

Excellent venue for complex event
We had an elaborate multi-day, multi-cultural wedding. We needed one ceremony space, two cocktail hour spaces, two dinner-reception spaces, a hospitality room, a wine-tasting room, space for dance rehearsals, a baby-sitting room, staging areas, etc. Westfields Marriott had it all. Every time we would think of one more thing, Devon would figure it out, and she kept track of everything perfectly. The hotel did not make a single mistake. I suspect Devon even lobbied with the hotel to keep the swimming pool open one more weekend, something that the tiniest of our guests adored. -

Great location, amazing staff.
Loved hosting our wedding at this venue. The place is beautiful, has a variety of indoor/outdoor spaces, close to the airport for out-of-town guests, and the staff is absolutely WONDERFUL! Worked with Megan as our Events Coordinator and we could not have asked for a better partner to work with. She made every request seem so reasonable, worked with us to create the dream wedding we wanted, was creative in her solutions, and overall ensured we had our dream wedding at the Marriott. -

Good Venue for Large Parties
We had an Indian wedding with around 300 guests. Westfields is used to accommodating large weddings and were well prepared to host our event. Our coordinator was very responsive and organized and helped make our wedding day go as smooth as possible. -

Seamless service and great responsiveness!
The Westfields Marriott + Monica and her team helped make all of the surrounding events / activities around my wedding so special and smooth. I so appreciated Monica answering my many questions, her team always being so amenable to adding extra rooms to our block, handing out welcome bags, checking to make sure we received everything we needed, helping with our welcome part and next day brunch, it was all so much more than we could have asked for and we are so grateful. Plus, the Westfields is just a beautiful hotel so all the guests loved the grand style of it and that they could spend time together in other areas of the hotel. Amazing Venue + Support Team
My wife Kate and I had our ceremony and reception in the lower level Washingtonian room. Our assigned Event Planner Megan was incredible to work with from start to end, helping us overcome logistical and budgetary hurdles and keeping us completely at ease once the big day arrived.
The lower level rotunda area is perfectly setup for cocktail hour given the open space and the A/V wall that can display slideshows and video.
My sister actually got married at the same venue in the upstairs ballroom 15-years ago as well. Both experiences were incredible and our family could not recommend this venue more! -

Great Experience

Fantastic venue for a Wedding or a Rehearsal Dinner
Since I live in Florida I booked this OVER THE PHONE for a pre-wedding, rehearsal dinner for my son and his wife and families (40 people). What a wonderful experience! Everything was as I had hoped and more. The food was wonderful and the staff was attentive to the guests in a way that made a few of them comment to me about how special they felt. -

Marriott is the perfect venue!
Our traditional Hindu wedding and American-style reception were held in the Jeffersonian Ballroom, and the cocktail hour was in the promenade just outside the room. The area was the perfect size for our 200 person event, and the staff set up everything perfectly and on schedule.
Because this was a fusion wedding with a very tight schedule, there were a lot of moving parts and things to coordinate. Thankfully, the event coordinator Hayley and her associates were there to help us every step of the way. Hayley corresponded with us for months to answer every question and nail down every detail, and on the day of the event was on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly.
Hayley and Nazila helped us to set up the room block for our guests and update when necessary, and Hayley coordinated with the front desk to hand out welcome bags to our guests as they checked in. The entire staff truly went the extra mile leading up to our wedding and throughout the actual weekend to ensure that everyone had the perfect weekend! Thank you, Marriott! -

Amazing Hotel Coordinator - Monica Flores
Planning a wedding was one of the most stressful times of my life. Thankfully, Monica Flores, our Westfields Marriott coordinator was amazing, I honestly don't know what we would've done without her on the day of the wedding. September Wedding Reception
An amazing venue for a wedding reception. The location is beautiful, with excellent indoor and outdoor spaces. I had a photo shoot done the afternoon bed my reception outside in the Terrace. Appetizers were served in the beautiful rotunda downstairs and the reception held in the largest Dominion ballroom. I never expected to have such a grand event but a dream really became a reality!!! -

Stunning venue with amazing service
The Westfields Marriott hosted my wedding this past saturday and I have to say that from the beginning the staff was incredibly professional. They frequently host weddings so the entire staff is always prepared for any request and works tirelessly to pull of an amazing event. I especially liked how they assigned not only an event manager, someone to assist with booking rooms in the hotel block AND an audio visual point of contact. -

I never knew about this hidden gem in the area until my sister told me about it. Though I was initially planning the beginning stages of the wedding from out of state, the senior sales exec Leslie, was so helpful - always available by phone or email and worked tirelessly with me until I was happy with the final contract. She also made time for multiple appointments to show me the venue alongside the groom and my mom. Once we were assigned an event manager, thing went well as I put her in touch with my other vendors and let them discuss logistics. However, just a few months before the wedding, the event manager unexpectedly left the company. While there was a bit of delay in reassigning our event to another manager/setting up communication with that new manager, Monica - things moved as smoothly as ever from that point on. Monica made sure every detail was to my liking and handled my little eccentricities well. She also obliged every request to see the space with the decorator and coordinator so everyone on my team would be on the same page. In the end, this venue was very flexible and helped make my wedding exactly what I had dreamed it would be. -

I had an absolutely wonderful experience holding my wedding event at the Westfields Marriott. Megan was our even coordinator and I can honestly say that she is why my wedding event went smoothly and the way I imagined. Megan is the wedding coordinator every bride dreams of having, someone helpful, reliable, flexible and just someone who makes sure things are going as they should. Our experience prior to meeting/ interacting with Megan wasn't so great and after jumping through several point of contacts, difficult to work with individuals, we were finally introduced to Megan and I'm so incredibly happy we were. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our event and she went out of her way to make so many things happen for us. Down to the last moment, Megan was accommodating layout changes, and constantly checking in to make sure everything was going good. Without her, my wedding day would not have been the same, I cannot express that enough. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and adds an elegance that you don't feel at many other venues. One regret I have is not taking any photos out in the front of the venue, its truest beauty is there! Overall, everything was beautiful and we are so happy with our experience here. -

Negative: We felt the runners were slow in responding to keep up the supply/ replenishment to buffet table. I verified, this problem did not result for any inefficiency on the part of catering staff (servers) in the kitchen. Mehboob was notified of the problem but he couldn't get it resolved. Catering staff/ servers had to jump in to keep the supply running. This area surely needs improvement.
Positive: Megan Aguilar was superb. I had other coordinators assigned through out the year but Megan's assignment made us feel relaxed. She was pleasant, positive, prompt, and took care of the event as if it was one of her own. Don't let her go. I also liked working with Sharon. -

Westfields Marriott's Sunset Terrace was exactly what we pictured for our weddibf. It was so gorgeous, and they prepared the best meal we have had in our lives to serve our guests. It was beautiful. Dancing on the Terrace was amazing, and the staff was so helpful. I wish I could relive the day over and over again! -

My wife and I reserved a block of rooms and the Westfields Marriott and it was absolutely amazing! The entire staff was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and was surprisingly the easiest part of the whole wedding planning process. We had worked with Hayley and Nazila as our main contacts to secure the rooms for our guests. Any requests or questions that we had for them were answered immediately and they made sure that we were 100% satisfied. The rooms were very clean and all of our guests enjoyed a very comfortable stay at the Marriott. We would recommend this location to anyone planning an event or just looking for a nice hotel to stay. The staff and rooms exceeded our expectations and we will for sure use this hotel for any future events. -

My advice would be to ask for Monica as your planner and follow her suggestions. She is amazing, caring, and attentive. With regard to food, it was terrific and there was plenty! I expect to hold my son's wedding there in the near future -

Choosing Westfields Marriott for our daughter's wedding venue was the best decision we ever made. The property is beautiful with so many options. The staff is friendly, accommodating, professional and willing to make you and your guests feel special, they go above and beyond. Not to mention they know what they are doing! Our wedding Coordinator, Megan Aguilar was AMAZING! She listened to our vision and made it happen and then some. Her expertise and guidance made this the best experience we could have hoped for. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in the Fairfax Room and it was over the top gorgeous. Everything ran smoothly and we didn't have to worry about anything. The staff was so attentive to the bride and groom and everyone of our guests. The food was delicious and our guests are still raving about it. Friends and family have told us it was the most beautiful wedding and how much they enjoyed the venue and how great the staff were. I would tell anyone to take a look at this venue and book your wedding - you will not be disappointed. So much to offer and so flexible. As we were booking our DJ and Florist, cake, etc., when they asked our venue and we said Westfields Marriott, everyone's response was "great venue, great staff." Megan made our daughter's dream come true. She worked so hard and really made our vision come to life, she was there every step of the way. We would highly recommend the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, VA. -

Our wedding is not until November 19, 2016, but the process of working with the Westfields Marriott has been flawless. Everyone so far has been so kind and helpful. I thought planning a wedding would be one of the most stressful things in my life. Our Sales Manager, Sharon Meyers has been the easiest person to deal with, provided us all information need and customized a package to our needs. She has truly made the entire booking process seem so simple and trusting. I looked at Westfields first then followed by a number of other locations in the area. I recently got married at Westfields Marriott and everything about the hotel was amazing. From the minute we walked in to check it out as our potential wedding venue, Marisa from sales was extremely welcoming and friendly. She sold us during our first visit and was very responsive in getting a contract signed. We were then introduced to Danielle Provost as our event planner who took charge of planning the menu tasting and running through all of our preferences. Danielle left Westfields half way through the planning phase and Cameron Mancini seamlessly took over as our event planner. Cameron was nothing short of amazing from the moment we met her and I am so thankful for her and her team for all that they did to make our day so perfect. Cameron was extremely responsive, friendly, flexible and helpful in making sure every detail of the wedding weekend went smoothly. All of our guests loved staying at the hotel and we've gotten a ton of complements about how nice everything from the hotel rooms to the food to the service was. We truly can't thank everyone at Westfields enough for all that they did to make the entire weekend so great! I will definitely recommend Westfields to friends and family in the future! -

Westfields Marriott and particularly our event manager, Rachel Lewis, were absolutely wonderful. Westfields provides a truly professional service and has clearly hosted many, many weddings. Their execution was flawless. Rachel guided us skillfully through every aspect of our event and anticipated many of the questions we had - and raised a number of issues that we hadn't even thought about. We were particularly happy that the hotel and catering staff were willing to incorporate all of the personalized touches we had DIY'ed and presented them at cocktails and reception exactly as we envisioned. The staff was courteous and extremely professional - we could not have asked for a better experience. -

My fiance and I attended a bridal showcase here and were set on the venue once we arrived. We were able to talk to the event coordinator Jim that same day. Amazing. They were amazing. Their staff are the nicest people you will ever meet and extremely flexible. Jim Intili, who I met with initially was great and truly sold me the venue and I'm so glad he did. He made sure to stop by whenever I was there to say hi and make sure everything was good to go, as well. Their wedding coordinator, Danniele Provost, was also the best. She was so great with me and with all of my questions-which I had a lot of. She was even getting married during all of it and still made sure I was happy and calm! The whole process was so great and there was never a time where I felt like something wasn't going to be taken care of. They were SO flexible and even allowed last minute changes. I would call Danniele and she would make sure that whatever I needed was taken care of. The event was amazing. Everything was on time and Danniele and the staff handled everything for me. There was another event the same night and you would've never known. I would highly suggest going with this venue. It's beautiful and everyone made it so special for my husband and I. And the food was amazing!!!! So delicious. I received multiple compliments about the staff, bartenders, coordinator, food and how beautiful it all was. I was sad it was over! -

The Westfield Marriott was the perfect venue for our wedding. With family and friends traveling in, it made it so easy to have everything in one place. The staff was extremely professional and flexible with all of our requests. The day of the wedding I didn't have to worry about a thing. They coordinated with all of the vendors and I even had a dedicated banquet staff to make sure I was eating and to see to all of my needs. My guests commented that everything was great and the food was fantastic. Our wedding suite was beautiful and they even provided a nice gift of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. I would highly recommend this venue! -

I highly recommend using the Westfields Marriott for your wedding reception! The staff was wonderful to work with. I planned my reception from long distance and they were very understanding and emailed me with updates. The catering was fantastic - we got so many compliments on the food at our wedding! Everything went smoothly and the guests were able to stay at the hotel after the reception. It's also close to Dulles Airport, which was so convenient for our large number of out of town guests. -

I had the pleasure of working with Michelle M., our event planner and Sara our sales associate and we were treated with the utmost respect and hospitality. This venue is everything we every dreamed of and more. My husband and I are amazed that this jewel is literally in our back yard (8miles from home) and while we were there, you could've told us we were in the middle of tucked away resort somewhere and we would believe you. I didn't want to have my wedding in a hotel. The hustle and bustle of a tall obnoxious building had zero appeal to me. We looked at several country clubs, and private estate locations, before stumbling upon the Westfields Marriott. As soon as we got there, we knew it was the one! Zero hotel feel to it. It looks and feels like a beautiful resort inside and out. The service is impeccable, and the event planning staff is the most professional I have ever come across. Top notch! If we had to do it all over again, we would undoubtedly start right here at the Westfields Marriott. -

The Westfields Marriott was not only a gorgeous, regal, elegant, and FABULOUS venue, but the event coordinator and all of the staff were extremely helpful. Everything at the reception went smoothly and we were so pleased with the outcome of our wedding reception!

I LOVE Westfield's Marriott!! The hotel is beautiful and the staff exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be any happier with our decision to go with them.
Sad to say, I am a little OCD when it comes to planning and John Neetz, our Event Manager made my planning a breeze! He was exceptional: VERY responsive, helpful and detailed. I was so relaxed the week of my wedding and enjoyed every moment of it because of him and their staff's exceptional service!! They really go out of their way to make your event a very memorable one! We LOVED working with the Marriott. We had narrowed down our choice to the Westfields and a few other hotels in the area, and we're very happy we went with the Westfields. They are INCREDIBLY professional. If anything went wrong during our wedding or reception, I had no idea - everything went super smoothly for us, even though we changed both the ceremony AND cocktail hour locations at the very last minute. Our coordinator, Rachel Lewis, handled everything for us on the day of - I never even saw the florist, but everything was set up perfectly as if by magic :) We always had a response back IMMEDIATELY to any questions or concerns, and our guests raved about how well everything went and especially how delicious the food was. We had both our rehearsal dinner and reception at the Marriott. Both nights the food was amazing. Jennifer Simmons was our event coordinator and she was wonderful, responsive, flexible and very sweet! We booked the Marriott over a year in advance so we started working with a few people that no longer worked there by the time our wedding actually came around but that never got in the way. Ellen Ouellette the director of event planning even reached out to us to make sure everything was going smooth with our transition. The hotel itself is beautiful and makes for amazing pictures both inside and out. I recommend booking the suite for the night before the wedding as well. It was perfect to get ready in with my girls and really makes you feel like royalty the whole weekend! The only issue that we had was that the lighting people did not actually respond to our emails and we did not get the up lights that we wanted. I believe they are contracted out but be on top of that if it is something you really want. -

Our wedding reception was done beautifully by the Marriott staff. Jennifer and Leslie were our event managers and both were responsive and worked diligently with us to make everything perfect. Chef Todd prepared a fabulous dinner even creating a soup that the bride requested. The valets went the extra mile for our family and guests. Guests were well pleased with their accommodations. We highly recommend this venue on every level if you're looking for a first class wedding reception venue. -

I cannot emphasize how happy we were with our venue for the ceremony and reception. I had been here years before for a company party (ahem...of an ex...ahem) and had fallen in love. It was beautiful, reasonable priced, flexible, accommodating, helpful...if I could, I would give them 100 stars! Christine and Lynann were amazing and went far and away beyond what we could have expected. I didn't even want a wedding, but I had a blast here! It could not have been better. -

From the start of the planning process through to us departing the hotel, the Westfields Marriott did an exceptional job with our wedding! John Neetz was a fantastic Event Manager to work with - responsive, professional and offered great suggestions/advice throughout the process! The Banquet Chef and staff prepared an excellent menu (all of our guests raved and left saying "I can't eat anymore!")! It wasn't just the banquet staff that did a superior job, but it was the entire hotel staff. We heard from most of our guests that everyone said hello or enjoy the celebration. Although there were 2 other weddings that day, the staff was amazing and made my husband and I feel special as if we were the only wedding they had. The Westfields helped us pull off our wedding that far exceeded our expectations! I cannot recommend them enough! -

If you get married anywhere in Northern Virginia, this is the place to do it. The Westfields staff, specifically Jennifer Simmons, is hands-down the most service-oriented team you could ever want. My DJ didn't show to do my ceremony music (see review on Washington Talent Agency) and Jennifer and her team were able to ensure that my ceremony still had music and that the guests never even had a clue. She literally saved the day. The food was absolutely delicious, the service fantastic (we had a lot of compliments on how they got the food out to everyone so quickly) and it was the most beautiful setting. They literally think of everything for you and make it as worry-free as possible. Our banquet captain was incredible as well. They'll even help you with all the rentals and your lighting needs!
The only minor thing is that if you are like me and like to get started on planning, you just need to be aware that they have a LOT of weddings going on, so you may not get as much attention when your date is further out. Once you hit the 3-month mark, though, they are awesome.
Our guests had an incredible time and it was due to Westfields' amazing hospitality, service, and attitude. Thank you!! -

When searching out for the perfect location for our wedding, my first thought that came to mind was the Westfield’s Marriott. I had stayed at this hotel years ago and remember thinking then, it was just the most gorgeous hotel I had ever seen. This is an extraordinary beautiful hotel with top notch exceptional service. I could have not asked for anything better. The staff went above and beyond my expectations which made our day extra special. As soon as you turn in the gates,the scenic large trees surround you down a path to the grand entrance. It literally is such a jaw dropping experience that takes you to a feeling like you are in some sort of a different land. The front of the hotel is gorgeous, and the garden terrace in the back of the hotel are awesome for pictures. From the very first moment we visited the hotel everyone we met was so professional and courteous. The events coordinator graciously gave my fiance a tour of the property and went over all the packages they offered. After looking at several other hotels that offered mediocre services where everything was additional we knew, this was the place. They offer three packages and were willing to work with us to customize a package that worked for us. The food and service were beyond our expectations. The events manager, John Neetz made sure our every whim was taken care of, right down to all the last minute logistical details, i.e. placement of the menus, escort cards, and table settings. There was nothing I had to worry about because the staff took care of our every wish. They even put together over 150 mini fairy berry lights upon my request. There were even two other weddings going on that evening, but you would never even know it. I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know. Overall great experience with Westfields Marriott. The price was reasonable and they were really accommodating and helpful every step of the way. My coordinator was Jennifer and she was amazing. She took care of every detail for me and literally rolled up her sleeves and get her hands dirty to help set things up. She was a total pro and knew how to manage everything with very little input from me. My day was totally stress free thanks to her!
Also, I do have to mention that the food was actually good. Hotel food usually sucks especially when you have 200+ guests but their food was not bad at all! -

One name comes to mind when I think of my wedding and its JOHN NEETZ!!! What an amazing and caring guy! Marriott should award him for his quick responses and great ability to fix last minute problems!! He was very professional and provided detailed information as we worked towards building our wedding. During the wedding he was there early in the morning making sure everything was set and everyone was updated with information. He was there until after the dinner to make sure everything ran smoothly! What a great guy!
The venue was beautiful! We got the presidential suite and it was huge! haha. Very clean and the staff was quick with everything we needed.

We are so thankful to have chosen Westfields Marriott as our wedding reception site - very beautiful location and wonderful, supportive staff! We booked about 6months prior to our event date (6/29/13). The location is outside the busy, traffic-congested wash DC area and in a quiet part of northern VA still easily accessible to main roads/highways. The staff we worked with included Sarah, Christine, Leslie and John - all of them made the planning process that much easier for us. The inside/outside decor is elegantly designed, lots of space and ballrooms to choose from, as well plenty of sunshine and areas to capture photos. The various entrees and hors d'oeuvres choices are so delicious!! The chef was able to accommodate our food options, including a few gluten-free entrees some guests needed.
Our coordinator was John. He was so fun to work with - easy going and attentive to details we discussed. He is organized and responsive to emails/phone calls. He went out of his way to make sure the ballroom and cocktail area layout was to what we wanted. If there were inquiries he didn't have an immediate answer for, he'd be sure to do some research, discuss with other staff, and get back to me in a timely fashion. On the day of our reception, John was there to assure us that everything was going well, and to ask if we needed anything. He was very smiley and upbeat, which made the entire wedding party so happy too!
Definitely recommend this venue for wedding receptions, and any other general events! -

This hotel made the wedding absolutely beautiful. The staff is very kind and friendly. The event coordinator, John, did a great job with keeping up and making our wedding perfect. We were in the Grand Dominion Ballroom and had 500 people. We had unique party favors (Jones Soda Bottles) which we asked him to lay out in abc order and according to the groom and brides side and they were exactly how we wanted it. The ballroom decor is perfect and the layout is very spacious. We were given the complimentary bridal suite for the night and it is absolutely gorgeous! We couldn't have picked a better hotel. Our guests were all very satisfied with their hotel rooms as well! -

We reserved a room block at this hotel without scheduling a wedding or reception there. We reserved only a relatively small number of rooms for a very affordable price.
Yet, the event coordinator (Kristin) was incredibly responsive and helpful with not only setting up our room block but also with other wedding-related tasks (e.g. arranging for those wedding party to prepare at the hotel, allowing late check-out times, etc.). We can't imagine how much more helpful she would have been if we had an actual event at the hotel.
Besides the services of Kristin and others, the hotel itself is beautiful with spacious accommodations and public areas. -

I don't think I have enough space to say all of the good things that I want to say about Westfields Marriott. I booked this venue for my April 13, 2013 wedding back in November 2011. Ana got me started and was very understanding of the fact that I wanted to book so early on! Once the time came, we were given Courtney Walsh as our event coordinator. Just to name a few characteristics about Courtney: Professional, prompt, helpful, flexible, organized, reliable... I could go on and on. I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. Courtney was ALWAYS available, either in person or via e-mail. She was a trooper with last minute changes the week before our event. She was so calm and organized and gave me such peace of mind!
The venue itself? Beautiful. You can't beat it. Gorgeous architecture, paintings, furniture... This isn't your typical Marriott! All of my wedding guests raved about the hotel. The food is also phenomenal. Our tasting appointment offered us SO much food to taste. Again, our guests raved about how delicious the food was.
As a very organized and determined bride, I have to say that our reception in the Fairfax Dining Room went flawlessly. Every staff member involved was absolutely incredible. I have not ONE complaint (I am a pessimist keep in mind!) Every staff member was accommodating, professional, friendly, flexible, etc etc! At our reception, Courtney was so present and remembered everything that was important to us.
My family, guests, and husband and I were so genuinely impressed and thrilled with the overall experience we had at the Westfields Marriott. I wouldn't have changed anything. -

EXCELLENT. WF Marriott were so professional and dedicated in making our wedding a success. We worked with our event planner (Sara Twigg) for about 7 months in planning, and she was with us every step of the way, including the actual day of the wedding, where she was there pretty much the whole day before the ceremony and during the reception - making sure everything went as planned. My husband and I are very detailed and organized people, and wanted everything to go exactly as we wanted, and they were very accommodating and patient with us. We created our own "script" for both the ceremony and reception (how things would be laid out, order of events, etc) and the Marriott paid attention and abided by our script/wishes, and were always very respectful. The food was incredible - kudos to the chef and his crew. The Banquet staff was very helpful and professional. Our guests were so impressed - I don't think they knew what to expect, and they were just all so impressed with how nice and elegant everything was. It was also so convenient and smooth to have the ceremony and reception right there at the same place. Everything was on the same floor – all the guests’ rooms were on the same floor, and the ceremony and reception were just down the hall from the guests. Nobody had to leave the ceremony and drive to another place for the reception – it was all right there and so convenient, from ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception dinner. An absolute beautiful hotel, and a magnificent place to hold a wedding or any other nice, elegant event. -

Northern VA Brides - LOOK NO FURTHER!! HAVE YOUR WEDDING AT THE WESTFIELDS MARRIOTT!!! My husband and I looked at a lot of different venues as we were planning our wedding, and were referred to the Westfields Marriott by a friend whose company held their holiday party there. We made an appointment and met with Katie Kulp, one of their Sales Representatives, who went through all of the different rooms that were available on our date and explained the costs (they have a minimum food and beverage amount that must be met, and that minimum changes depending on the month). Although their prices were a little higher per plate than other venues we had visited, since we knew people who had stayed and eaten there, we knew that the higher price would come with much higher quality service. We are SO happy that we chose to have our reception at the Westfields Marriott because 2 months later we are still getting compliments from our wedding guests about the amazing service that they received at the Westfields!
My husband and I worked with Lynann Dumas, a Senior Event Manager, to plan our wedding and she was AMAZING!! She was so responsive when we emailed or called with questions, and accommodated all of our requests. We had an idea of what we wanted the table arrangement to be (we booked the Fairfax Dining Room), and Lynann and her team were able to make that idea come to fruition. We cannot say enough great things about Lynann and the Westfields staff!
On the day of the reception, we were introduced to our banquet captain, Koji, who was in charge of making sure that my husband and I were taken care of. Since I love to dance, and am therefore constantly parched, I asked Koji to bring me water periodically throughout the dancing, and about 3 songs into dancing, there he was with my water!! Amazing!!
We would whole heartedly recommend the Westfields Marriott as a Wedding Reception site (we held our ceremony at a local church)!! -

I knew I wanted my wedding at the Westfields Marriott about a year in advance, so we booked it right away. From the start, the hotel was very accommodating of our requests (during the initial contract planning stage and onwards). We had a very large Indian wedding, and the hotel is very experienced in handling weddings of our type and scale...which made everything so easy! We had over 100 guests coming from out of town and staying in the hotel, and the Marriott was very flexible in making everyone feel welcome and taken care of. We had some issues along the way, but the Marriott was able to resolve every single one of them. And they found ways to accommodate even our most specific requests. Courtney was our event coordinator, and she was so flexible, responsive, and helpful. Even on the day of the wedding, she made sure we got everything we needed. Overall, we had a great experience working with the Westfields Marriott, and I would recommend the venue to anyone - even people with very large-scale events! -

If this website allowed for more stars I would give every one of them! My husband and I were supposed to get married on the Jersey Shore on what turned out to be the weekend after Hurricane Sandy. The Wednesday before our scheduled wedding, we found out our NJ venue couldn't host the wedding. We walked into Westfields Marriott on Thursday morning and asked Sarah, Ellen, and their team to pull off the impossible --relocate our wedding on 48 hours notice. Not only were they up for the challenge (they could have easily told us we were crazy), but they managed to pull off the wedding of our dreams replete with delicious food, gorgeous lighting, and an incredibly attentive staff. Our guests remarked that if not for the change in city, they never would have known the wedding had been replanned 48 hours in advance. 12 hours after we first walked into the Westfields Mariott, our guests began arriving and were greeted by the hotels warm, friendly, and incredibly flexible staff.
Words cannot express our gratitude for making our dream wedding possible in what can only be described as trying circumstances. -

My now husband and I planned for a 4/29/12 wedding. After the venue we had selected neglected to tell us they were going to be under construction during that time, it was late January and we were desparate to search for a new venue that met our budget constraints. I live near the Westfields Marriott but decided to check it out anyway. I met with Christine and explained my situation - she said she would do all she can to try and accomodate their costs to our budget. A tour with the parents and the fiance later, I had a contract that was barely $4k over my original budget for venue/food and beverage. I expected it to be so much more, considering Westfields Marriott's hotel star rating, but they bent over backwards for me to help me stay close to budget in a timely manner. The star of the hour was my Event Planner, Leslie. She went above and beyond and kept me on top of things while the madness that is wedding planning ensued. She kept me in the loop, was always available to chat, and adhered to my crazy work hours just so I could run by the hotel to meet with her in person. And of course, on my wedding day, everything was set up to our liking, everything started ON TIME (which almost never happens!), and the event went off without a hitch! Food was great, ambience was wonderful, and my husband and I heard nothing but rave reviews for Leslie, the staff, the location, and everything you could possibly think of. If you have a somewhat flexible budget, I highly recommend the Westfields Marriott for your wedding venue. -

The Westfield Marriott is soooo gorgeous on the inside!! It is a great location! We originally were set up to get married outside on the terrace! It would have been perfect but mother nature had other plans so we had to move it inside. The biggest concern was flipping the ballroom from ceremony to dinner during cocktail hour but the Marriott staff worked so hard they did a great job! Everybody raved about the food! They said it was so good both during the cocktail hour and at dinner. The staff did everything they could to make sure my husband and I were comfortable and having fun - this included providing us with food, beverages, and whatever else we needed. That night we got to stay in the presidential suite which was so amazing and spacious! It included a jacuzzi tub and a shower and a huge bed! -

I highly recommend the Westfield's to brides with higher end budgets. The food, venue, service and coordination is top notch. -

As a bride with precious little time on her hands and lots of out of town family, having our ceremony and reception at a central and single location was crucial. Westfields Marriott met every expectation my husband and I had, and our wedding coordinator Sara Twigg went above and beyond to ensure that no detail was missed and our day was perfect. The packages offered by Westfields are competitively priced, the food/beverage quality is outstanding, and Sara and the team were willing to work through any and all changes and modifications without hesitation or question. Sara and team even assisted in reservations for the room blocks and worked to ensure our guests had no issues with their stay. I highly recommend Westfields Marriott and their amazing wedding coordination team to all brides. -

The Westfields Marriott did a fantastic job! My husband and I could not have asked for more. Every associate went out of their way to make sure our weekend was incredibly special, not only for us but for all of our guests. Marissa my Event Manager was outstanding! She is responsive, flexible and calm. Knowing she was there that day made me calm all day. Kodjo was our Banquet Captain, he executed the event flawlessly. The servers were fantastic and the food was amazing!! People are still talking about how incredible the food was, thank you so much Chef Sullivan!! Thank you to the front desk staff, especially Mary Ashe at the Front Desk and Nazila in reservations. You both are amazing and truly appreciated for all that you helped us with. Thank you to the Pub staff and the Bell Stand, especially Ben, for providing our guests with excellent service and making every guest that walked through the door feel welcome. Our wedding weekend was something that neither we nor our guests will forget and it is all thanks to the Westfields Marriott. Thank you from the bottom of my heart -

From the moment I saw the Marriott, I knew I wanted to haveu wedding there. The salespeople there were very kind and accomodating. The wedding coordinator I worked with was great. She helped redone our ideas and gave us options for linens and thinggs that fit our price range as well as the look we were going for. On the day of the wedding, they were just phenomenal. The servers were on top of everything. If I ever needed anything, they were able to help me. I had such an amazing time at my wedding and the Marriott played a large role in that -

We can not say enough wonderful things about the Westfields Marriott. The venue is gorgeous and the staff outstanding in every way. Our daughter got married here and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Marissa is amazing. Not only was she a dream, she went above and beyond, orchestrating the many, many details needed for two large events. If you are looking for a wonderful venue indoors and out, this is the place. -

5 stars is not enough for the Westfields Marriott - I wish I could give them 100! I can't say enough good things about the Westfields Marriott - they were fantastic. We got married on their sunset terrace and had our reception was inside. Everything was executed flawlessly! My wedding was the most perfect magical day ever and it's because they made everything stress free for me. They were so wonderful to work with. Virginia Keeler is so great and she explained everything to us and we got exactly what we were looking for. Marissa Goessling was my event manager and she did a GREAT job! Everything was perfect. The staff was amazing and everyone made us feel so special. The event staff at the reception anticipated my every need. They exceeded my every expectation. I HIGHLY recommend them!! -

Westfields Marriott was outstanding! Everyone who worked with us was incredibly professional and courteous. Our reception was held in the Palm Court restaurant/Fairfax Dining Room and it was absolutely beautiful! The food was delicious, the service was great, and our guests told us that they felt like they were being treated like royalty! There were other wedding receptions taking place at Westfields on the night of our reception and yet we wouldn't have known if we hadn't seen the other newlywed couples in passing, which was fun because we happily congratulated each other! Each wedding has their own event management team and they take care of you as if you were the only ones there. I can't recommend this place enough! Westfields will always have a special place in our hearts. -
