Amazing from start to finish

Kristin and John made simple the long, arduous process of planning and executing a wedding. They were incredibly responsive and flexible in the months leading up to the wedding and on the day of, we were able to count on them to keep the whole ceremony going smoothly. While all brides and grooms are kept busy during the wedding, Kristin went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of and had some time to ourselves in the midst of all the chaos. The day went perfectly in part because Kristin and John helped us stay on top of everything!

Couldn't have gotten through the day without Kristin and her team!!!

Kristin from day one was on the ball!!! From organizing the bride and groom, making sure all timeliness were met and ensuring it was a seamless day! Kristin and her team went above and beyond, especially on the day of! They made sure everything went smoothly and everyone was were they needed to he when they needed to be there. John made sure the bridal party never had an empty drink and had anything they needed, including the parents of the couple. They even facilitated our dog being at the ceremony and pictured! Could not have asked for anything more out of them. They set everything up as requested and even was there until them end and tore down, taking one less burden off of us and our families. We would definitely recommend Kristin and AMAZING team, customer service at its best!!! Thank you Kristin, John and Aidan!!! You made the day so much easier!!!! Worth their weight in gold!

Booking Kristin was hands down the best decision I made during wedding planning! I hired her as a day of coordinator, but she served as so much more. She was always available to provide recommendations and helped me handle numerous situations with less than ideal changes and situations with multiple vendors. She was so patient and thorough during meetings before the wedding day to make sure all of my questions were answered. On the wedding day, her and her team were worth their weight in gold! From fixing my bouquet before the ceremony to managing my veil during outdoor portraits, Kristin was always right where I needed her. John, her assistant, was also incredible. He made sure my husband and I and both of our families were taken care of on the day, including bringing hors d'oeuvres and drinks from our cocktail hour to us wherever we were while taking pictures on the golf course. Our wedding day was an absolute dream come true and it was due entirely to Kristin and her team! She came highly recommended from a friend and it isn’t hard to see why!

This Team goes Above and Beyond!

Kristin and her team will go above and beyond to make sure your whole day is amazing. She will be the middle man between you and your vendors so you don’t have to worry about their many questions. She will step up and help out wherever is needed. Even post wedding she is still helping us with a few things. All the vendors she recommends are professional and reliable and her knowledge about all things wedding is immense. This is the team you want to make sure your day runs smoothly and it will take the stress off you and your family so you can just enjoy the day! Kristin and team are worth every penny!

Kristin and John went above and beyond to make our wedding day smooth and special for not only my husband and I, but our entire bridal party and family. Kristin and team were extremely helpful from the beginning recommending vendors and being a sounding board. When it came to the reception, there were lots of little details that needed to be sorted on the day of, and Kristin and her team were on top of all of it. My entire family was given special treatment and there was not a single VIP that didn't have something to eat or drink the whole night. I highly recommend Kristin and her team. Exceptional wedding planning team! Go above and beyond to make your day amazing.

Kristin and team are absolutely incredible wedding planners. My mom and I tried to plan the wedding on our own and realized a few months before that we really needed help. We feel incredibly lucky that Kristin and team were available. They were everything we had hoped for and more. We could not have made the wedding what it was without them. Leading up to the wedding, they were hands down most responsive team I've ever worked with - week days, weekends, evenings, you name it they were there. Their response speed was unparalleled. When other vendors took weeks to respond, Kristin and team responded in hours, sometimes minutes. Unlike many other vendors, they always made us feel like our questions and concerns were valid and important. They also handled so many last minute issues for us - from inclement weather that caused us to move the ceremony from outside to inside to an insurance mixup with vendors - to ensure that our day ran smoothly.
They also went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. They made sure we had food and drink while we were taking photos, they brought our wedding arch out to the reception so we could walk under it when we did our introductions. They kept everyone calm the day of when things got chaotic, and made sure that we had a great time regardless of what happened. My family and I were able to have a blast at the wedding knowing that we had Kristin and team at our side.
We are so grateful we had the opportunity to work with Kristin and team! They are not only amazing at what they do, but incredibly kind and thoughtful people. You will not be disappointed if you choose this planning team!

I hired Kristin as a day of coordinator and partial planning and I'm so glad I did. Kristin and her team were incredible from the first phone call. Weddings and Events by Kristin was wonderful to work with!!

Hiring Events by Kristin is the best money I spent for my daughter's wedding. Upon looking
for a planner Kristin is the first person I talked to I knew after the first conversation that my
search was over. The week before my daughter's wedding Kristin and John got covid. She
assured me that everything would run smoothly and that she had experienced backups.
She was definitely right. Kristin and John worked hard from there homes since they had covid. Not even covid stopped them. Kristin and John were not contagious any longer so they did show up to the event to make sure everything was going smoothly Alan was at the rehearsal and also at
the church the day of the wedding. He was fantastic. I couldn't have asked for anyone
better. When Kristin and John left the wedding, Alan with the help of Karen did an
outstanding job. I would ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND Events by Kristen for your wedding.

A Groom's Review

To the fiancés with future husbands who are not convinced a wedding coordinator is required,

Just show them this review on how Kristin, Gibson, John and Kristin killed it and saved our day -

Our cater served caramelized nuts at wedding knowing we had significant nut allergies…Gibson was the first to identify the nuts and immediately having the salads removed and replaced.
Of course, I ripped my tuxedo pants within 5 minutes of dancing…. Gibson, my future mother in law and 50 safety pins saved the day. She also went back to the hotel to get my backup pair.
When myself, groomzilla, wanted a night-time photo underneath an old tree near the venue… Gibson was there holding flashlights from 3 cellphones for perfect lighting.
We never went hungry or thirsty… John and Gibson got the bridal party appetizers before the ceremony and made sure we had drinks all night long!

Overall, all the big and little things were taken care of to make one of the chilliest, smoothest, and most memorable days of our lives!

A Wedding Must Have!

Going into wedding planning I thought I was extremely organized and prepared for whatever the day may throw me. Boy was i wrong. Kristin & her team were a necessity to our big day! She ensured the day was seamless and perfect in every way possible. Through out every conversation we had with our caterer we stressed that we needed the venue to be nut free due to the amount of nut allergies we had present at our reception. Low and behold there were walnuts in each of the salads. Kristin & Gibson swooped in to have this immediately fixed so that my self and my now husband didn't even notice. They addressed it with the caterer to ensure none of the remaining courses would contain nuts. As the dancing begun my husband ripped his tuxedo pants completely. Gibson immediately drove to the hotel to pick up a spare pair and repaired the ones he was wearing with approximately 50 safety pins. This job is not for the weak, and I can assure you Kristin & Gibson are truly the best. The cherry to the sundae was when my husband wanted a specific night photo which required spot lights, which our photographer did not have. Gibson stepped in and held 3 phone flashlights to make his dream photo a reality. Words truly cannot express how grateful we are for this team. I recommend Events by Kristin to each and every Chicago-land bride.

A Simply Title Won't Do Justice

We were not simply treated as a wedding couple. We were treated as the US. The team treated us as individuals rather than just "any other couple". They built amazing rapport with us, and responded to our emails/texts immediately, and were on top of their game. We've received multiple compliments on the decor on our wedding night; everything was spot on and how I imagined it! Planning a wedding is stressful enough, and you will worry and have anxiety regardless, ESPECIALLY when your wedding is less than two weeks.......vendors backing-out on you, dropping you as a client, forget about your requests, forgot that you're even one of their clients, whether they're going to be on-time on the day of your wedding, their dedications/commitments to you, etc.....the list goes on. However, with Kristin/Gibson, I did not have any of those worries because instead of me following up with them as I did with every other vendor, Kristin/Gibson followed up with me. These things may seem little to you now because you're not in that position yet, but "the littlest thing is the biggest thing" is the truest thing when it comes to planning your own wedding. Communication is huge and you will need it.

I highly recommend you to go with Kristin/Gibson and their team. Their honesty will save you money; their ongoing communications will save you stress and anxiety; their effort in building a rapport with you will ensure that they will individualize your wedding and treat you as you, and their passion for their job as decors and event planners will provide you with confidence and a sense of security.

The best in the business

I don’t even know where to start besides you want this team with you on your big day/ helping you plan!! I used Wedding & Events by Kristin for full planning and did not regret it at all! I don’t know how you can plan a wedding without them! They have done so many weddings and know EVERYTHING!! They helped me with so much. I mainly worked with Gibson on design and details, and let me tell you, she knocked my ideals/photos out of the park! The team is so friendly and easy to chat with. I was out of state planning a wedding in IL! I was able to text with Gibson and Kristin when needed. I also had multiple calls with Gibson VIA zoom! This team has excellent relationships with vendors, which helped make wedding planning even more accessible! On my big day, they had a team of 6 people between the ceremony/ setting up the reception. Alan who is a team member followed my husband and me around during photos. He fixed my dress, hair, helped my husband look good as well! He was vocal with the photographer of what needed to be different. He even stayed by my side during happy hour to help get me through the hello’s fast! I had issues with my dress and Kristin’s team were able to fix it so fast! Overall you want this team to help plan and be there on your big day. You will not go wrong with full planning from this team!

Must hire!! You won’t regret it!!

Words can’t describe how awesome this team is. I appreciate each and everyone on Kristin’s team for not only making our day perfect but being a shoulder to lean on even before the wedding day. My husband being diabetic needed to stay hydrated and they made sure he got his cranberry juice consistently! My venue was giving us a hard time about lemonade and Kristin and team without hesitation said “that’s all you want that’s easy we got you” they made my day with chick fil-a lemonade!!! My decorations were mainly made at home by my mother and they made sure to put everything up where I wanted and followed my exactly perfectly. If you need referrals for vendors they have you covered, contact your vendors, understand your wedding vision and help you carry it out, do you need your dress bustled no problem they got it covered, a shoulder to lean on when guest drive you nuts they got your back, RSVP’s not coming back on time they will make the calls for you to those late responders. I had customized coke bottles for every guest the team made sure those were put on the table! My day had craziness going on but the whole team made sure my husband and I didn’t see it or know about it. I couldn’t have gone through the day without them. When I say they have everything covered they do. This team will think of things you probably didn’t think was important and save you the hassle and frustration the day of. I appreciate them dearly and I consider them friends. I will definitely want their help with any other major events if they do them!

Highest Possible Recommendation!

I am delighted to give Weddings and Events by Kristin my highest possible recommendation! 5 Stars isn’t enough to properly express the fantastic job that Kristin and her team did at my daughter’s wedding last weekend. We hired Kristin as soon as our daughter selected her date and venue, and she has been with us ever since with references to excellent vendors, timely advice, and planning. She and her lead assistant Gibson are enthusiastic and engaging, and bring great ideas for décor, timelines, etc. On the day of the wedding Kristin led a team of three of her staff taking care of everything imaginable – always one step ahead. Things went smoothly, even as we had to move the ceremony itself indoors due to rain, and they worked with the venue to still have cocktails outdoors immediately afterwards as the rain had stopped. The next day when we asked the new couple what some favorite memories of the day had been, one of them was the sense of confidence and calm that we all felt knowing that Kristin had everything under control. We were all happy and chill!

We need to mention Kristin’s great vendor recommendations: Bonita, the owner of Busy B’s Florals created arrangements that were even more beautiful than the pictures we had given her that were our inspiration, and better than anything we’d seen on Pinterest. The bridal bouquets were absolutely perfect, and our centerpieces of lanterns surrounded by greens and flowers were stunning. Our DJ, Rick was another fantastic recommendation. He was so personable and engaging, and knew how to read the crowd and keep people dancing. When the wedding ended at midnight nearly half of the guests were still there having fun! Another vendor recommended by Kristin was a graphic artist named Sara who created our invitations and day of event materials such as menus and place cards. Everything was unique and beautiful, and many guests commented on them.

I’m thrilled that we chose Kristin, and would recommend her highly to anyone!!!

The BEST choice I made for my wedding!

If you are having doubts on whether or not you actually "need" this service the answer is YES! Turns out quite a few of my family members thought I was spending money needlessly on a day-of-coordinator and yet each one of them came up to me after the wedding to say how incredible Kristin and her team was! They help with so much more than I ever expected.

My entire day from start to finish ran so smoothly and if there were any hiccups I knew nothing about them which is exactly the point. Also I was happy in knowing that all of my family and friends could enjoy themselves without having to help me remember various things throughout the day. Professional, organized, and friendly.

My wife and I were planning our wedding from across the country. We hired Kristin due to a referral and couldn't have been more happy with the results. Prior to the wedding, Kristin was able to refer quality wedding vendors that we were very happy with, including a florist and a DJ. On the day of the wedding, Kristin and her team helped make the whole day go off without a hitch. My wife and I had at least one staff member assigned to us at all times to make sure that the night was going smoothly, from scheduling to making sure that our drinks were full and that we received all of our hors d'oeuvres even though we were busy greeting the guests. Don’t get married without them!

I was about a month out from my bridal shower when I reached out to Kristin and her team for help. I was overwhelmed with making sure everything was done and perfect and did not want to be going through the same thing right before my wedding. Kristin and I spoke and she introduced me to Gibson. After taking to them both I already felt so much better so I decided to hire them on. We made a plan to meet and review where I was at and go over the wedding plans. I had already done almost everything. I just needed the reassurance that what I was doing would actually work. Did I have enough decor? Did my color scheme work? Was my dream enough to be a reality. I met with the ladies and they made me feel so much better about my big day! As time went on I started to question hiring them. It wasn’t a small amout of money and I had done almost all of the work myself. Then my wedding day came... I do not know what I would have done without Kristin, Gibson, Allen and Jessica. Every single time I turned one of them was right there next to me. Whether it was giving me water, directing us to the next thing on our timeline, making sure we were ok or just knowing what to do when things went wrong, they were perfect!!!! Oh, and if you need to bustle a dress - these are your girls!! I don’t know what we would have done without them. There are so many small hiccups that can happen, especially when having an event with 300 people. My day was made whole because of their professionalism and efficiency. I was the maid of honor in my sister's wedding, and having Kristin and her team help us out was truly one of the best decisions we made! Everyone on her team is so genuinely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They put everyone at ease, and it was a relief to not have all of the coordinating responsibilities on our shoulders, especially on the actual day, so we could focus on enjoying the day. They are on top of everything, and while it seemed extravagant to us at first to hire a wedding planner, we actually saved money because Kristin has great connections and helped us find reasonable deals. She really works to make it the wedding YOU envision. She isn't controlling and doesn't interfere but is so responsive and is always helping to send you in the right direction. My sister (the bride) lived multiple states away during the planning, but that ended up being no problem with Kristin's assistance and the flexibility of all the lovely vendors she set us up with and their eagerness to make it work for us. I really can't say enough good things about Kristin, and she has hired a team that is just as wonderful as she is. They were so attentive both in the planning period leading up to the wedding and especially on the actual day. We are so grateful for how smoothly my sister's wedding went because of Kristin and her team.

Over and beyond

So late to do this review but never forgotten. Kristin and her team went over and beyond what any wedding planning team would do. From retrieving vases from a very dissatisfying vendors to making sure everyone was happy and beyond satisfied, especially the groom and I, to referrals to an incredible florist and most amazing DJ. Without Kristin and her crew our wedding night would have not been merely as flawless. From decor to tear down your endless efforts truly made the difference in our reception. and ceremony. It was beyond amazing and we still talk about it often. Best. Wedding. Ever.

Incredible Work

Kristin was absolutely outstanding. We had over 230 people attend our wedding. Kristin was on top of her game from day one. She responded to every email quickly and laid out everything we ever could have possibly imagined. When my wife initially brought up the idea of a wedding planner, I was initially apprehensive about getting one. It turned out to be EASILY the best decision we made throughout the entire wedding process. Kristin made sure everything was set up and the night moved fluidly. After dinner, everyone was having such a good time that our first dances got slightly delayed. Kristin made sure things got back on track and the night could not have been more perfect.

Kristin also comes with an army. We had no idea how amazing her staff would be. She handled the logistics for the entire day and made sure things moved smoothly. I don't know what we would have done without her. The day after the wedding, we slightly panicked because we thought my wife's necklace went missing. Of course, Kristin had it. My cousin split his pants after having fun on the dance floor. One of Kristin's employees literally sewed his pants in the bridal suite in the middle of the wedding.

Kristin's work is impeccable. There are not enough words to describe how important she was for our wedding. HIGHLY recommending her is a huge understatement.

Amazing experience, from a guests perspective

I was a guest at a wedding last night. The bride and groom worked with Kristin to plan the wedding. The groom was initially unsure about hiring a wedding coordinator, but throughout their engagement I kept hearing from the him how much he liked working with Kristin. He repeatedly told me how absolutely helpful she was. And how much time it saved them to have someone to work with who knew what they were doing.

So as a someone who loves weddings and always wished she could be a wedding planner I was very eager to see Kristin in action. (By Kristin I mean her and her team) Let me tell you they did not disappoint!

Starting with the rehearsal they were the first ones there. And were ready to go! They helped with staging the wedding party for the processional and worked with the church staff. When the church staff had other ideas that were not in line with the bride and grooms, Kristin helped to see the bride and groom’s wishes be met and did so with grace. I even approached her at the rehearsal with a last minute favor for a surprise for a bridesmaid. Kristin did not know me and could have easily said no but she was very gracious and very willing to set up some special items at the bridesmaid’s seat at the reception.
The ceremony was perfect and Kristin and her team blended in perfectly. Arriving at the reception all of the couples individualized details were set up. The room look beautiful. Kristin and her team worked very hard throughout the night to ensure the bride and groom had everything they needed. They stayed until the very end to pack up and deliver gifts and other items back to the hotel where the wedding party were staying.

I chatted with several of the team throughout the night and each one was polite, professional, and fun. Overall from a guests perspective they blended in perfectly doing all the “behind the scenes” work that usually family/friends of the bride and groom are asked to do. There was a very organic flow to how they worked. I was truly amazed by them! I will definitely be recommending them to any and all future brides or grooms.

Oh and a perfect example of how they went above and beyond...one of the guests ripped his pants during the reception. I am not sure who on the team it was, but one of the team had him go into the bridal suite, then took his pants and sewed them for him. She gave him privacy and helped him keep his dignity. And this was a guest not part of the wedding party. So they are not only here from the bride and groom they are here for anyone.
Absolutely amazed by all of them!

Amazing! Worth their weight in gold!

Kristin and her team were a tremendous help to us. We are an older bride/groom (both 59) and have substantial business experience. We weren’t sure we needed a planner. Boy were we wrong! They suggested vendors, offered guidance and most importantly, kept everything running smoothly without involving us in problems or logistics. Outstanding job by Kristin and her team!

I worked with Kristin and her team to help plan my son's wedding. We first connected nearly a year before the big day and Kristin was always responsive, positive and determined to make the wedding day a success! She helped us select vendors and let us bounce many different ideas off her. She has excellent experience planning all types of events and is eager to make sure everything comes together smoothly on the big day. We mainly worked with Kristin and Allen but Gibson was involved in the early stages while working on registration and internet details. EVERY member of the team was helpful, friendly and eager to help from the first day we connected. Kristin never said no to any assistance we needed. The wedding was on New Year's Eve and life does get crazy at that time of year! Kristin took on extra work from us even during the holidays and genuinely seemed fine to accept the added work during the holiday week. When the big day arrived, we were ALL completely calm and confident the day would come together beautifully and it did! As the mother of the groom I truly felt like a guest at the wedding. I had significant involvement with planning from the very beginning but on their wedding day, I did not worry about a thing!! Kristin handled absolutely EVERYTHING on the wedding day. I KNEW Kristin, Allen and their team had all the bases covered! I was confident that if anything unexpectedly occurred they would handle the situation. The evening was fabulous! Kristin was always professional and attentive. She also worked well with the vendors. She does a wonderful job with coordinating everyone and building relationships with the families and vendors. I'd highly recommend Kristin, Allen, Gibson and their entire team. You can feel confident they will make sure your event comes together fantastically!

Best Decision Ever!!!

I am a project manager by trade (control freak by nature) so planning the wedding was in my wheel house but I decided to hire a wedding planner for my wedding. Overall, I wanted to enjoy my day without worrying about making sure everything was set and running smoothly and I got so much more than that with Weddings and Events by Kristin. I met with Kristin almost two years before my wedding (we had a date change) and instantly felt comfortable with her company handling my day. I handled planning 90ish % of the wedding and worked with Kristin and Gibson (planner assigned to my wedding) for about 6 to 8 months prior to the wedding to pass along all the details. Both Kristin and Gibson were super responsive and ensured they understood my vision. As with all weddings, something will go wrong and with mine a bombed got dropped 3 days before my wedding (which was NYE) and my bartending company went out of business leaving me without booze, mixers, and bartenders. I immediately reached out and Kristin/Gibson were on it. Gibson called me within 5 minutes of me sending the email to assure me she had it all under control and she totally did. She had bartenders and booze taken care of within an hour of the scare leaving me to enjoy girl time with my mom and future MIL. GIbson even picked up the alcohol herself and brought it to the venue.

We had a non traditional wedding and the team was up for the challenge as there was a secret dress flip, saber of champagne bottle, walking down the aisle to Final Countdown. For a little more context we started with cocktails at 7:30pm, dinner at 8:30pm, then dancing, midnight toast (being NYE and all) and then had our ceremony at 12:05am, with more partying after the ceremony. Being the control freak I wasn't sure how I would handle the "big day" without knowing what was going on and come the day of, I didn't have a worry in the world as I knew the team was on it and would solve any other issues that would pop up. Knowing that everything was under control, I really enjoy a day with my girls having lunch, drinking bubbles, getting hair and make-up done and prepping for the party. Gibson and Veronica had everything ready to go when I arrived for the first look (prior to the guest arriving) and managing the whole evening with ease and poise. Both were super helpful, on top of everything, professional but made you so comfortable like you had known each other for years. My day was amazing and I would do it all over again but I attribute it to my amazing wedding planning team as without them, I would have went into the wedding weekend a hot mess and spent my night worrying about all the vendors, logistics, etc. I would use Weddings and Events by Kristin again and wish I could do it every year with them in the drivers seat.

Day of Coordinator

Kristin and her team made our wedding go so smoothly. We had quite a few vendors, and Kristin managed to take all the stress out of our hands, including when one of our vendors showed up an hour and a half late. If I were to do it over again, I would hire Kristin and her team at the beginning of our process as opposed to a day of coordinator.

Best Decision Ever!

During the beginning of the wedding planning process, I expressed to my (now) husband that the biggest fear I had for our wedding was that, on the actual day, I would be too stressed worrying about the little details to actually enjoy myself. After hearing that, Tim started searching Wedding Wire for a day-of coordinator with good reviews and at a reasonable cost. Finding Kristin was possibly the best planning move (and best investment) we made for our wedding! I CANNOT express how much of a joy it was to work with her! We initially met and began right away to plan out our schedule for the wedding day as well as discuss what we needed to get done by when. Kristin took all the guesswork out of our planning process. She was always quick to answer an email or a text message (even the week-of when I’d send multiple in a day). She was truly one of the greatest assets to making our day perfect. Not only was her knowledge of weddings and planning exceptionally helpful, she was also kind and always had our best interests in mind. It was always a joy to talk to Kristin on the phone and she was extremely encouraging and understanding when I was feeling stressed out. She and her team: created our timeline, touched base with all our vendors to finalize details before the wedding, met us at the rehearsal to make sure everyone knew their role, picked up our flowers from the florist, organized our wedding party for the photos at the church, set up the reception hall with all the centerpieces and decorations, checked my husband and I into our hotel room for the night-of, dropped off our belongings in our room, collected our decorations/gifts at the end of the reception, fixed my dress and held my flowers for me on multiple occasions, delivered multiple messages to multiple people for us throughout the evening, constantly communicated with us throughout the process, helped me keep my sanity, and probably did much more that I don’t even know about because the night and entire day ran so smoothly. The help didn’t stop there, the next couple of days she helped coordinate with my family to make sure we got all our things back and even dropped off the vases at the florists for us. I’m bummed out that the wedding is over, not only because the day itself was incredible, but also because I won’t be working with Kristin anymore. I would highly suggest her team to anyone getting married soon and looking for a day-of coordinator. Again, one of the BEST decisions my husband and I made when planning our wedding. (Even my family and friends raved about how great the entire team was)!

Day-of Coordinator Review

My husband and I booked Kristin as our day-of coordinator, but she started helping us well before the day of! Kristin was always friendly, enthusiastic, and responsive. We had an in-person meeting about a month before the wedding, where we started to draft the timeline and go over the different vendors we were working with. Kristin then finalized the timeline with the vendors (venue, photographer, DJ, florist) so everyone was on the same page. She also called the guests who hadn't RSVP'd, which was very helpful and let me avoid some potential awkwardness. She and Alan attended our rehearsal the night before so they could help everyone stay on track at the ceremony. They also helped to hand out the ceremony programs and bubbles on the day of, which was great because we didn't have ushers. During the reception, Kristin and her team checked in on us just often enough, and they helped with the smallest details and questions we had. My husband really got along with Alan and appreciated how attentive he was. Gibson fluffed and straightened my train when we were outside for pictures, which she did without me even asking and I was glad to have someone there to do that. At the reception, I was surprised by how many guests told my husband and me how smoothly things were going--that seems like such a specific compliment to give, so they must have meant it! We had even more guests tell us that in the couple of weeks after. And we know that it was thanks to Kristin and her team. We are so happy with how our wedding went and would definitely recommend Kristin!

I am the mother of groom who wanted to provide this service for our sons wedding. It was the first family wedding of the bride and groom so, none of us knew what to expect as far as wedding preparations go.
We all agree, that contracting Events by Kristin was one of the best decisions that they made to help coordinate their day! Kristin and her coordinatiors worked with them from rehearsal to late into the reception. A couple months before the wedding she requested a list of all the vendors. By 2 weeks before the wedding she had contacted each vendor to confirm their specific duties and then she created a perfectly orchestrated timeline so the day would run smoothly.
There are not enough adjectives to describe their professionalism. They are organized, friendly, fun, patient, and so adept at what they do. You can tell she loves her job and she puts so much time and energy making sure there is nothing you have to worry about on your big day.
We highly recommend her for any affairs you need to plan. Engaged guests have already asked for her information. She is a dream! Love her!

Kristin and her team were absolutely incredible. Honestly, the day would not have run as smooth or successful without the help of this amazing team!! They helped take a ton of stress off of me, and although I didn't know it at the time, they were "putting out fires" behind the scenes. I'll never forget Gibson running around constantly helping me with/ fluffing my dress and straightening my husband's bow tie before every picture (as it just wouldn't stay straight!). I'm writing this a little late...as our wedding was in December but Kristin and her team were AMAZING! They took care of everything and I got to actually enjoy our wedding! No one bothered me, no one asked my any questions...unless it was for a beverage! ;) If there were any hiccups, I didn't know about it! (That was my personal goal!) They took care of delivering a check I owed the church, decorated the reception room BEAUTIFULLY, and cleaned up and decorated our hotel room! I can't begin to thank Kristin and her staff for the amazing service they provided for my daughters wedding. From the planning to the rehearsal to the reception I can't imagine doing this without them. She contacted all of our vendors and kept track of the time line, made sure all of our decorations were perfect. At one point while waiting for the groom to arrive she told us the exact location of the limo! I feel like she had E.S.P. and was standing next to us every time we needed her. This was, by far, the best decision we made in hiring Weddings and Events By Kristen and made our day even more special!

Where can I begin about Kristin and her team? From day one of signing on with her she was attentive, professional, and honestly a godsend. I consider myself a party planner but decided I needed to take a step back for my own wedding because I was going through a couple of life events at the time. Looking back on it, the amount I paid for her was worth it a thousand times over. I told her exactly what I wanted in a venue and told her when I was available and she set up all the appointments within those hours. We searched through a lot of venues and she was even my shoulder to cry on when my parents were wanting "our" wedding to be something they wanted compared to what we wanted. She was very attentive in trying to please my parents but really give me what I wanted. She covered bases A to Z and even some stuff in between that you never really think of until its two days before and you're freaking out. We went with the full package and we would recommend that package and her services to any person, any day. Our day of went off without a hitch and even if there were problems I never knew about them. She even got hurt on the day of my wedding while gathering the guys and while in the ER she was directing everything through her wonderful assistants and co-workers. This team will go above and beyond for your every need!

Kristin and her team are fantastic! We had some complications a few days before the big day and they were rock stars! Our videographer quit 2 days beforehand and within an hour Kristin had found an awesome replacement. During the pre-ceremony photos our trolley disappeared and her team was able to track them down and keep all the drama as far away from the wedding party as possible. They had our backs at each and every step of the day.
Her team took care of all the small details like the moving of gifts, which never crossed this brides mind, and left this happy couple a sweet surprise. I highly recommend Weddings and Events by Kristin.

Kristin and her team are AMAZING! Getting a wedding planner for the day of was a last minute decision for us as we were having some issues with our reception hall. My husband and I are so thankful that we had Kristin and her team all day. There were things that came up that we could not have predicted and it was all taken care of and we didn't have to worry about anything. They set up our reception hall and put together my vision perfectly! The room looked perfect - everything was put together so nicely. They kept us on track during photos as well as gathering family for each one. Looking back now I don't know what we would have done without them throughout the day!

Kristin and her team were fantastic. As the MOB (Mother of the Bride) they made sure that we were all taken care of (I was in a daze). If I was carrying a bag they would offer to keep it and then bring it back after that specific event. They followed up every step of the way. When anything happened unexpectedly they were there is resolve/fix the issue. They were the contact person that day. Kristin put together a detailed timeline. Would hire again in a "heartbeat".

Kristin and her team are absolutely amazing! I didn't have to worry about a single thing all day (which as a bride is a great feeling.)
Minus a couple unforeseen hiccups with my dress, I am unaware of anything really going wrong (at least that I know of) and even the small things Kristin and her team were there 100% of the way to make sure anything we needed was taken care of. She even helped us by bringing in an extra person that spoke Polish to help with my husband's side of the family.
We received so many compliments about the day and how great her staff was we know we made the right choice to have them there. So glad that she was recommended to us!

Kristin and her assistants were nothing but AMAZING!!! They went above and beyond in everything they did. Kristin was very attentive and made sure my dream wedding was a reality. She was literally on her hands and knees at my reception making sure my uplights were pink, the way I wanted them. My dessert vendors showed up early for the reception, so she didn't setup the dessert table. Kristin and her assistants setup the entire table and it looked like a graphic designer did it. We had an older crowd, so we were worried not many people would dance. However, Kristin went around getting the crowd going and dancing. They were the best and made my wedding day stress free and flawless.

I know what you are thinking, you are thinking "Why do I need a wedding planner?" Much like you were thinking at some point "Why do I need a smart phone?" Well just like with your smart phone (hopefully) you'll never regret your decision to hire Kristin and her team. I have a confession to make, we ended up canceling our wedding (TO BUY A HOME!!!). We were knee deep in planning with Kristen before hand however and she was the absolute best. She would listen to our crazy ideas, she would lend her experience and she would go above and beyond to find just the perfect 'thing' we needed. Whether it be a venue, caterer or anything else we could come up with. She handled all the details, and with her extensive contacts and history in the business we knew were getting the best the industry had to offer in all aspects of our wedding.

When we ultimately made the hard decision to sink our finances into a home instead of a wedding, she again surprised and surpassed my every expectation by ensuring I got the most money back from our vendors as is possible. She even helped me get a refund on our venue (which is unheard of by the way). Our journey didn't see the finish line in terms of a wedding night but there is no doubt in my mind that it would have gone off without hitch. I have seen them in action at another event and they leave nothing to chance. She runs a tight ship and an excellent crew. Do yourself a favor, don't wonder why you need Kristen and her team, just hire them and then for years to come wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

Kristin went far above and beyond the call of duty dealing with a medical crisis in the bride's family during the reception.. Can't say enough about how she helped avert a disastrous day. The wedding and reception continued smoothly and all guests had a great time. This was one for the ages and it's because of her and her crew that there was a happy ending.

I don't even know where to begin. This past year working with Kristin and her team has been the best experience I could have ever hoped for I not only consider her my wedding planner but also my friend. With having a newborn, a 3 year old and on top of planning a wedding Kristin somehow managed to make the entire process completely stress free and enjoyable at all times, her team covered every detail to make my dream wedding a realty, you need it, they'll do it! Many of our guests have told us this was the event of the year and they wish they could relive it again! I could sit here and go on for hours about the amount of time and effort Kristin and her team put in to making my day perfect but what I most importantly want to mention is just how committed they are to you, due to a health issue with my father he unfortunately had to be taken to the hospital right before the reception, in a situation like this you would think a wedding would completely fall apart. In this case, they managed to keep me calm and continue to enjoy myself, keep the schedule on track without 1 guest knowing anything was wrong and most of all Kristin personally drove to the hospital to pick my father up(who was luckily able to return) and pushed the doctors to discharge him quickly so he could get back to dance with his daughter(and we did) without anyone knowing he ever left. Do not look any further for any other wedding team other than Weddings by Kristin. You all are the best and we miss you already!

Weddings by Kristin is a LIFESAVER! Kristin and Gibson helped us tie up loose ends before our wedding and Gibson was there every minute of our rehearsal dinner and day of the wedding. She made sure everyone was where they needed to be and kept me calm and collected so I could enjoy our big day. It was awesome knowing we had a team we could depend on!

Kristin and her team were absolutely amazing. She is so much more than a day-of coordinator, yet her services are affordable. There is nothing that she didn't do! She called all of our vendors the week of the wedding to confirm everything was in line, she coordinated a way for me to drop off all of our wedding items so that we didn't have to worry about getting them to the venue, and she met with us several times both in person and over the phone to answer any questions we had about a wedding timeline and details. She even offered to call people who had not RSVP'd by our deadline! She was so incredibly helpful in every aspect of our wedding planning process. She was extremely responsive - she would usually answer emails within 5 minutes and she had all of these suggested vendors that had the best prices but was not pushy if we didn't want to go with them! She even gave us cute ideas for what to do for our wedding favors etc! She is highly professional and knows an incredible amount about the industry. And this isn't even the day-of! Her team the day-of were absolutely phenomenal. They did EVERYTHING and we didn't have to do anything. They also knew exactly what to do so that we didn't have to worry about anything. My bridal party and guests also kept commenting on how amazing they were! I feel incredibly lucky to have had Kristin be our day-of coordinator and I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Words cannot describe how AMAZING Kristin and her team were!!! At first we were a little hesitant getting a wedding planner but it was honestly the BEST decision we could have ever made! They were there every step of the way answering any questions we had, recommending the best vendors and suppliers. Our best man lost his speech 20 minutes before the toast, and her team found the speech within minutes! They made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed and constantly checked in with us. Our venue was on a farm, where storms were in close proximity, Kristin and her team did not show any panic and had a back up plan for us instantly! My husband works in events and commented on multiple occasions about how well Kristin and her team communicated the day of the wedding demonstrating true professionalism! This was the BEST decision we ever made. If anyone is on the fence about a wedding planner, please contact Kristin! She will put all your worries away!

Priceless! Kristin and her team alleviated any and all stresses I had for my wedding day which allowed me to just enjoy every moment of my day. From setting up initial appointments, to making recommendations and contacting possible vendors, to easing my worry, to planning and executing the timeline of events, Kristin and her team were one of the best decisions we made! We were so blessed to work with this team of people who truly love what they do!

On the day of our wedding, as the bride, I was unaware of any hiccup or bumps in the road. Kristin and her team were on top of everything and no detail went unnoticed! She maintained our timeline throughout the day starting with the hair appointments all the way through breaking down the tables at the end of the night. They were there every step of the way!

For me, a huge part of this day was making little details happen- the biggest one being surprising my husband with his wedding gift. Kristin and her team took control and got everything in place without anyone noticing allowing this surprise to unravel seamlessly! This was one of many priceless moments Kristin and her team helped ensure was so special!

In planning our wedding, we did not have a very large budget to work with, nor did we have much wiggle room. If you are considering hiring Kristin and her team, my husband and I would tell you, with out a doubt, they were worth every penny! Even our families complimented their passion, professionalism, efficiency and attention to detail. We highly recommend her and her team when planning your special day!

Kristin and her team were AMAZING!!!!! I cant even begin imagine having gotten through our wedding day (and wedding week) without her and her team! All of our bridemaids/groomsmen/parents at the wedding all commented on how great she was. And she knows this because I must have told her and her team 100 times the day of the wedding how grateful I was for her. My mom and I have said hundreds of times over the past year that they were the absolute BEST THING we decided on for our wedding. We had a band at our wedding and even they commented that she was the best coordinator/team they had ever worked with! They really made our wedding day stress-free. There wasn't one thing we had to worry about on the day of our wedding except enjoying ourselves! We truly had the best day ever and that was honestly a large part due to Kristin!!

I can't leave for my honeymoon without thanking Kristin and her staff at Weddings & Events by Kristin for the amazing job they did for our wedding. Kristin and her team were amazing to work with. Especially Kathy, she helped us deal with a difficult venue owner and was there on rehearsal night and managed so many details the day of wedding! I love that she has intuitive design sense to create a beautiful look without us having to tell her what we want. I was not sure how I would need the day of coordinators, and now after the fact I can't imagine not having had them!! The whole team of 4 was amazing and so personable, they were a joy to work with. I would have been at the venue for hours after the wedding. It is so worth the price for the service you get. It was one of the best investments we made!! I’ll start by saying Kristin is worth every. single. penny. My husband and I hired her as our day-of coordinator for our wedding and she was simply impeccable! Another bride’s review read: “it is so evident they love what they do because they do it phenomenally” and I couldn’t agree more. From the moment I called Kristin, I IMMEDIATELY felt the weight of the ‘wedding world stress’ come off my shoulders. She made me feel like she had dropped everything she was doing to cater to all my crazy questions and make sure I was at ease that the planning process was smooth sailing from then on out. As a DIY bride, I had so many little details that I'd planned and they took my decorations and vision and made everything look even better than I could have imagined. She made sure that anything and everything we needed the entire day/night was taken care of before we even realized we needed something. How she kept track of everything, I still don’t know! She is incredibly organized, shared tons of tricks and tips, introduced us to amazing vendors, and above all ran everything PERFECTLY. I had no clue that anything had even gone wrong (tiny things that were actually MY fault) until I talked to her a few days later. They handled any little hiccup with vendors, food, guests, etc. flawlessly. There are not enough words to describe how grateful we are for Kristin (and her AMAZING staff!) for being part of our special day. Special shout out to the other Kristin who was just the most helpful, sweetest lady all day and Allan for his insane bartender skills, keeping the bar stocked the entire night, bringing my husband and I drinks all night…and for being eye candy to my single friends. The whole team just ROCKED and our guests felt the same way. I honestly felt like I had not only hired a wedding planner, but a friend to hold my hand from beginning to end. This was by far the best investment from our wedding! Don't just consider hiring Kristin, DO IT! You'll be so glad you did!!

Kristen and her team, Weddings and Events by Kristin, was the wedding planner that we had for our daughter and son-in-law's October 1st wedding. It was the second time that we worked with Kristin, and again we couldn't have been more pleased and satisfied with her service and the service of her entire staff. They went above and beyond and saw where extra touches and care was needed before we even asked. They also worked well with all the vendors, at the reception site and church to be sure that the bride (and her parents) and groom only had to enjoy the day and trust the team behind the scenes. Kristin found us a perfect DJ in Pete Rosendahl, and Cathy & Alan were indispensable at the the rehearsal and church. Kristin was always just a text away and answered our questions immediately, to our complete satisfaction. Her dedication and work ethic are beyond reproach. She was so easy to work with and always came through with ideas, contacts and followups. She is on top of everything and her bubbly personality shines through, enhancing her love for the work she does.

We hired Weddings and Events by Kristin for both pre-wedding and day-of coordinating, and we could not be happier with our choice. Everyone we encountered before the big day gave us the same advice: enjoy every moment, step back and take time to soak it all in, and don’t let any imperfections upset you. Because of Kristin’s team, all of these things were possible. They were the perfect balance of being available at any second and working behind the scenes. I honestly didn’t know anything had even gone wrong (and it was only little things) until I talked to Kristin the next day. That’s because they handled everything with the vendors, venue, and guests seamlessly Kristin was outstanding in the weeks before the wedding and that didn’t change on the day of. She helped me with so many things throughout the process, including phone calls, meetings, and general reassurance. She allowed me to choose my own vendors when I wanted to but she also had options for when I wasn't sure who to choose. All of the vendors said she was amazing to work with. She made sure everything went well at the rehearsal so that my husband and I both left with peace of mind that everything was ready. On the wedding day, she and her team were there every step of the way. I would like to especially thank Gibson for everything she did as well. I immediately felt so comfortable around her and she could sense every need that I had throughout the day. She even knew what I needed before I did most of the time. Alan also deserves credit for his hard work at the reception. I didn’t have many interactions with him (I was busy dancing!) but I heard he was very helpful at the end of the night, possibly even going above and beyond his job description! All in all, if you are considering hiring Weddings and Events by Kristin, the decision should be easy!

We contracted the Pearl Service with Weddings by Kristin and I'm still convinced that they did more than we signed up for even though Kristin said it was all included. We hired Kristin and her team specifically for day of planning - something which I didn't think we needed at first but my wedding seriously wouldn't have happened without it. Kristin and her team are so friendly and easy to work with - closer to the date when I just needed to stop planning and enjoy, it was easy to hand off communication between Kristin/her team and me to them and my mom with confidence. Overall everything went flawlessly, they made me feel very special on my day and always made sure I was okay, including reminding me that even when I thought no one was watching, they were and to smile! Kristin and her team were absolutely wonderful! While we initially booked her for day-of coordination services, she was also very helpful with the planning process - especially with finding the right caterer and other vendors. For example, she got us great deals on linens and went above and beyond by picking up and dropping them off for us. Then, a few months before the wedding, the caterer we had initially chosen fell through (due to no fault of Kristin's team) and we had to scramble to find a new one quickly. Kristin jumped right in to help. She reached out to her contacts and identified great catering options for us. In the end, I actually liked the food from the second caterer more, so it all worked out. She was also a great guide as we were working through the budget. When we got estimates we thought were too high, she was able to sanity check the numbers and confirm. This helped us to negotiate lower rates in some crucial areas like catering and equipment. In the end, the amount of money Kristin helped us save on other vendors more than covered the cost of her services. Her pricing was extremely competitive - you won't find a better value anywhere else.

On the big day, her team really went above and beyond. They were so helpful and gracious to our guests. They were checking on us in all the right moments to make sure everything was alright. It was such a huge relief to leave the details to her team so that we could really enjoy the day and the company of our family and friends. I'm sure they put out a bunch of emergency fires throughout the day. The best part is, we didn't have to know about them and could just soak in the day.

Throughout the process, Kristin was also extremely responsive to our questions, easy to access, and thoughtful. She often replied to our emails within minutes. She was very enthusiastic and clearly invested in us having the wedding we dreamed of. Overall, Kristin and her team were fantastic and we can't recommend them enough.

Kristin and her team were amazing! Kristin was sending and answering emails at 2am when we had an issue with our transportation company, and had everything set for us on our wedding day. Throughout the day, her team struck the perfect balance of checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, while also managing all the details in the background. The team was also able to donate our extra food to a local homeless shelter! They really thought of everything. As someone who doesn't pay attention to details and didn't care for the whole wedding-planning process, I would highly recommend Kristin and her team to help pull off your event!

This is the second time we have used Kristin for help with a party. This time was my daughter's wedding. Again Kristin and her team were invaluable!! My daughter wanted to do most of the little details herself and Kristin was very good about that! She found us 7 venues to check out and then we gave her the difficult jobs of securing transpiration, keeping in contact with vendors regarding deadlines and schedules and timelines. She is always quick to respond to our emails, texts and calls. She always finds a solution to big and little issues that arise when planning a big party! The venue said she was a dream to work with!
As good as they are in the months leading up to the party, they REALLY SHINE on the day of the event! We were guests at our own party! She handled questions from vendors, kept everyone on track, handled tipping those who deserved tips. Someone from the team delivered cards, gifts and flowers to my home before we even arrived at the end of the evening! We had a thorough review with her the Monday after the wedding and she was extremely quick and thorough about handling a few followups that needed to be addressed.
Kristin and her team are INCREDIBLE!

Kristin was amazing from the start. She was there every step of the way. Everything from helping us find a wedding vendor, to suggesting tons of options for photographers, djs, food catering, dresses, etc. the list can keep going on and on. What I found to be one of the most valuable things about Kristen and her team was that even after my wife and I thought we had everything covered she was always there to remind us of little things that fell between the cracks. I would highly suggest Kristen if you are looking for an involved, fun, and personable wedding planner!

Kristin and her team are rockstars. They really made my day the day Ive been dreaming of since I was little. They also are very fun! I really enjoyed the laughter while they were doing their jobs on Saturday. Made me feel as though they were just another 4 guests at my wedding which was lovely. They love their jobs and that is why they are awesome! They go beyond what you ask or need! I felt like a princess and they made sure I had fun! I would hire them again!

Kristin and her staff were worth every penny in our book. We hired her a month before our wedding and she totally came through for us! We really didn't have time to set up the church and making sure everyone was where they needed to be for the ceremony so that was our primary motivation for hiring Wedding and Events by Kristin. WE GOT SO MUCH MORE!!!! Kristin was there every step of the way on our wedding day. When one of the bridesmaid bouquet didn't show up at the hotel, she immediately got on the phone with the florist. She set up everything for our ceremony, made sure everyone was their and on time. The ceremony was everything that we could've hoped for and wanted. When it came time for photos, Kristin was a big help!!! She kept us on time and made sure we got to the reception in time in so that we could to take more photos. She is really great at keeping the bride and groom on schedule and that was definitely something that we needed. She is so much more than a planner though Kristin and her team become like family!!! She was there when it was time to get into my dress, exchange gifts with my husband, for the I do's, she taught us how to cut our cake (she really did) and, when my feet swelled so bad that I couldn't get my shoes on, Kristin and her team were right there to get me ice! Her designer, Kathy, is also awesome and made us some terrific signs for our venue!! Kristin and her staff were amazing and we are so thankful that we made them a part of our day!

Kristin and her team went way above and beyond the call of duty handling everything from appetizers, to picking up and returning alcohol, answering emails at all hours of the night, great decorations, etc, etc. They helped make all the small things go right as well, such as pinning on boutonnieres.
She and her team handled the day of the event wonderfully, organizing the rest of our service providers and and staff flawlessly.

Kristin and her team made our wedding day not only flawless but relaxed, enjoyable, and fun. It is so evident they love what they do because they do it phenomenally. I wasn't a bride who knew exactly what she wanted going in, and luckily Kristin was able to help me every step of the way, letting me know when and what type of choices had to be made. She is connected to many other amazing vendors and went out of her way to make coordination between them flawless. Her professionalism is also evident in this area, because she was able to work with them directly without us even getting involved, and those companies trusted her and made it easy for us. Truly Seamless process. There were some issues with of few vendors (not the ones she recommended- lesson learned, go with who Kristin recommends) performing up to their contracts, but honestly I didn't even know that until the event was over. She just handled it. This money was the best spent of our wedding, hands down. So many of our guests commented to us that they felt the event really reflected our personalities, and I am sure that would not be the case if we had to manage the details. We were able to focus on every moment and be ourselves. Special shout out to Kathy who made all our decorations, the other Kristin who was the sweetest support all day, and Allan who went out of his way to handle our liquor and the leftovers. Seriously, use Kristin and her team. It was the best decision we made. Invaluable to creating the wedding day and memories we wanted. If we have a big party again we will work with her before even setting the day to make sure she can help us. Thank you Kristin!!

Kristin was so helpful and kept the whole day running smoothly. I had her for day of service but she was available any time I had a question through the process. She was flexible when our needs shifted and handled any thing that came her way with grace and professionalism. Having her there made it easy to enjoy our day with all our friends and family without stress.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I haven't even gotten to the 4 month countdown before my wedding and I'm already so amazed by Kristin and her team. In the beginning I was so worried about everything wedding on what and who I contact and use. Once I found Kristin she took all the stress away from me, starting with her wonderful personality and sense of ease, to her wonderful way of forming to my wants and needs. I am forever grateful that I found Kristin and her team. I would recommend her to anyone one who asked me for a wedding planner and even event planning. Kristin does it all and balances all the stress of this job so well!! VERY satisfied.

We hired Kristin for a few hours of day of wedding planning. We got so much more! She is amazing and goes above and beyond what you ask. Kristin makes it feel like a friend is helping you through this crazy process. We really wish we found her in the beginning of planning because we would have let her do it all! Danada House looked amazing thanks to her and her team. Kristin really listens to you and brings your vision to life. We loved everything about our wedding!!!! Thank you so much! We used Weddings and Events by Kristin for our son's July 11th wedding in Naperville, IL. Since everyone was from out of town, (grooms family, brides family, and bride and groom), it was great to have someone in the area to answer questions and make suggestions before the wedding and then on the day of to help with all the details, so everyone could enjoy the day. Even making sure my 89 year old mom was comfortable throughout the day. Thank you again Kathy and Kristin for all your help!!!

Kristin and her team were invaluable. I am super organized and business-minded, so I originally thought a day of planner would be a waste of money. I was so wrong! Kristin was just a text message or phone call away leading up to our big day. On the day of, she was visible, pleasant, and on top of everything. No complaint here! One of the best things I spent our money on for our wedding. Peace of mind is priceless.

I am a sales manager at Pinstripes in South Barrington, and I had the pleasure of working with Kristin and her team this weekend. The team came in early to set up, they were very professional and friendly and worked really well with my team. They gave good directions to the staff, and did a wonderful job setting up the outdoor venue for a very fun couple with a Doctor Who theme. Kristin's team was very attentive to every single detail of the event, from setup, to timing and everything else in between.

I highly recommend Kristin and her team. An wedding planner, or even a day-of planner will always keep you peace of mind, and they will make sure that your day will be just the way you wanted it.

I have another wedding lined up with Kristin, and I am very much looking forward to working with her again.

Kristin and her team are a GEM!
I contacted Kristin about 1 month prior to my wedding, after I realized I had no one to set up the decor at the reception! Kristin was very responsive and accomodating from the start (literally a text away), and helped alleviate the stress related to all the planning. We met twice, first time to go over the decor details and sign the contract, and second time at the reception venue, in order to finalize the decor plan. Kristin was very kind to arrive early to each meeting as well as on the wedding day to ensure that everything was set up on time. From the start I knew I was in good hands. Kristin and her team worked impeccably, and the reception venue was perfectly ready to receive guests. Each detail that we discussed was re-created, better than I envisioned! I would highly recommend working with Kristin and her team. Her love for weddings, her creativity, flexibility and responsiveness are priceless!

Kristin and her staff were nothing short of amazing!
During the whole party they were on top of everything from the set up to tear down.
Honestly, I am a very type A person who has a hard time letting go and entrusting others and for me to believe in Kristin was HUGE. She not only quelled all my fears but made my special day relaxing and enjoyable. If there is anyone to entrust with such an important life impacting day it is Kristin and her staff! MI cannot thank Kristin Anderson Events enough for making my dream come true!

Let me start by saying I struggled with whether hiring a day of coordinator was worth the money, and it was a big debate between me and my, now, husband. I can say with absolute certainty that it was the BEST money spent on my wedding! While you can never anticipate if things will go wrong, if nothing else, it is worth the peace of mind to know you have someone that can handle and fix any situation! But for me, it was worth so much more... because things went wrong, and Kristin and her team were fixing it before I even had a second to stress out about things (and I stress out easily).

1) Officiant was very late to the rehearsal which meant that we had to start without him... she made sure it was no big deal and started directing us on what to do without even speaking to him. (and then also quickly pulled us inside right before the rain!)
2) We were supposed to give roses to our moms during the ceremony... Roses never came! She improvised and found flowers for us to give them!
3) She was on top of the weather and knew how to speed up the ceremony and get the guests inside, literally minutes before it started downpooring!
4) Vases were never delivered for the bouquets.... she found some for us to use!
5) Someone stepped on my dress and it ripped... Kristins team to the rescue and quickly sewed it up so that no one had known what happened!
6) During dinner, they kept bringing the head table drinks... we were never thirsty!
7) Just in general, I not once had my "coordinator" given to me by the reception hall introduce herself, check in on me, do anything! But it didn't matter because Kristin and/or her team was there all the time checking in and helping out. (but not to the point where it was annoying, it was the perfect amount!)

I cannot say enough good things! Every bride that is on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator, I would absolutely say DO IT!!! Best money spent!!

Working with Kristin was an amazing experience! From beginning to end, she was the glue that held every piece of my event and sanity together! Kristin's knowledge of your special day as well as her support for you as a bride is something she seems to take great pride in. During the wedding planning stages, Kristin and I met periodically in person every couple of months (based on my needs) to ensure I was keeping true to my timeline. As the event neared she went above and beyond to ensure that I was stress-free and had what I needed. As a bride, it was the little things that she (and her amazing team!) did - went to purchase my floating candles, looked over schedules, connected with vendors about payments and schedules, organized the wedding rehearsal, set out decorations - that made the day a very enjoyable event. The day of the wedding she was on time and engaging with everyone in the space. Her personable character made her a joy to be around! My wedding was just as I had imagined with her running the show! I could tell she knew what she was doing, and she even read my mind at times! Kristin was unafraid to have those difficult, yet professionally appropriate, conversations with folks who could have made the event unpleasant and it allowed me to enjoy time with family and friends.

After the wedding my wedding party raved about the work that her team did and my bridesmaid is certain she would hire her for her wedding! I do not usually issue such high rating for folks. However, Kristin always went above and beyond to ensure that her team was on the same page and working to make our day special. My husband mentioned that he could tell she enjoys what she does and is in it for you as a bride and groom. She took the time to understand us both! It made a world of a difference and I would recommend her to anyone looking to have a stress-free and fun event!

Kristin and her entire team came to my rescue when I called just a week before my wedding, looking for someone to help me by doing day of coordination for my reception. As an event planner by day, I had planned out almost everything for my big day, but I didn't want to have to worry about execution or the little details. Kristin and her team stepped in and handled every single detail - leaving nothing forgotten. My parents are still telling me to this day what a great job her team did in getting all of the gifts out to their car, securing special items such as vases, and dealing with everything that they wouldn't have even thought of. I can never thank them enough. If you need a helping hand or assistance with an event - Kristin is the person to call!!! I can't recommend her enough!
