Absolutely Perfect for a Wedding!

We booked TradeWinds completely blind and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. Hannah was beyond helpful and was always quick to get back to me with any questions I had. The pricing and packages were all transparent from the beginning, so there were no surprises once everything was finalized. The catering staff, and the resort staff in general, were all so friendly and helpful.

We received feedback from multiple guests saying the food was the best food they’ve had at a wedding. The resort itself is beautiful and there are so many options for venues/pictures, you can’t go wrong no matter where you pick!

So beautiful

Tradewinds Grand Island Resort:
Holy crap I could not have asked for a better venue. They had more than enough rooms to accommodate all of our guests, they had back up ballrooms in case it rained. It is an absolutely beautiful resort, and the views are amazing. The only vendors I had to hire are the ones listed above. They helped with everything else, and some family and I did the flowers. 10/10 recommend this whole weekend and I would deal with the stress a million times over.

The Tradewinds made my wedding dreams come true

I can’t say enough about the Tradewinds and its staff. They made my dream wedding come true! My expectations were exceeded. First and foremost, my contact Rob was amazing to work with. He was quick to responds and always got right back to me. I had a ton of questions and ideas through the entire process, and he always gave me his undivided attention. In addition to Rob, there was Cherish who the coordinator provided by the Tradewinds. I enjoyed working with her as well, she helped to make my vision come to life.
The hotel itself is the perfect beachfront resort. We had over 33 room booked for our big day, and we heard nothing but positive feedback. The resort provided a little but of everything for all ages including the kids. Between the Gulf of Mexico, multiple pools, cabanas, huge slide and entertainment provided by the resort everyone was happy.
It helped that the weather was beyond perfect. The backdrop of the gulf and the sunset really put on a show for our ceremony. It was simple and beautiful. We had an outside reception and decorating was easy when your surrounded by the beach and palm trees. It was stunning with up lighting and café lights. I couldn’t have been more please with the outcome.
The weight staff and bartenders were great. The food was very good, we received multiple compliments. The drinks were great, and the bartenders really hustled and were friendly.
I visited numerous venues from St. Pete Beach up to Clearwater and I’m so happy that we chose the Tradewinds. The staff, hotel and reception venue really came through for us and made our wedding week and big day just perfect.

Perfect location!

Dream beach wedding!

From the start of planning my daughters dream beach wedding everyone at the TradeWinds was AMAZING!! Jim, was so helpful and was quick to answer any question we had. He was on hand day of the wedding to make sure everything ran smoothly. Joey at the front desk made checking in a breeze. Dominic and Monte were on site to help us unload our luggage and transport all of our wedding boxes to our rooms. TRADEWINDS STAFF IS AMAZING!!!

Phenomenal!!

There are not enough good things I can say about this venue and all of the staff! This was destination for us (from Pittsburgh), so the constant/timely communication was really important to us - this was the factor that made TradeWinds stand apart from other that we had looked at. Maria Slater was our contact and she was so professional and prompt with the millions of questions we bombarded her with. She (and our planner from Driftwood) made the planning as stress free as it could be from over a thousand miles away! They worked together seamlessly. We came down early for our tasting and met the Chef, we felt so taken care of and special. Not to mention the food was incredible! Cut to our special weekend - the resort is amazing! We had so many family members and friends around utilizing all the bars, restaurants, pools and cabanas - there was something for everyone! The day went off without a hitch and Maria and her staff were only a text away for anything we needed. We got married on the South Beach, with the reception immediately following on the South Lawn. It was perfect. We also put on a farewell brunch for the guests (SeaBreeze Deck) that was so lovely and wonderfully staffed. Nearly every wedding guest approached us throughout the course of the weekend saying this was “the best food they've ever had a wedding”. They all want to re-do their weddings to destination! This is the best memory to have of our special day! Even if you are local to the area, we cannot recommend this place highly enough. It was exactly what we were hoping for, and then some! We are planning to come down for future anniversaries!

Beyond amazing!

WOW!!! From the very beginning Julie was AMAZING! She answered every single question I had thoroughly and in a timely manner. I felt like I had known her my whole life. I cannot say enough good things about Julie and Tradewinds. After taking quite a risk and putting a deposit on a venue that we had never even visited (we are from Michigan) we finally visited and instantly knew that we had made the right decision. EVERYONE at Tradewinds was amazingly kind and welcoming on our first visit. We made a second visit a couple months before our wedding and we were even more impressed (I didn't think that was possible) with the kindness and hospitality that was shown. Tradewinds has SO much to offer. Fast forward to wedding week...we not only had a lot family and friends there for the week, but also lots of kids and even more importantly a child with autism who had the time of his life and was in a safe and inclusive environment. Every single guest was blown away not only by how kind and helpful everyone was, but also by how much there was to do right at Tradewinds! We had AMAZING weather the entire trip...except for wedding day (yikes)! Julie not only kept me updated throughout the day (without freaking me out) but also had the entire wedding moved from the beach (my idea because of awful weather) into the most beautiful space (the Pavilion) without error in 30 minutes notice. I had no clue what I would be walking into...but to say I was blown away is an understatement! I wish we could relive our wedding day over and over...it was beyond perfect thanks to Julie & Tradewinds!

Dream Wedding

We got married Oct 2018. Weather was perfect. Staying at the resort it easy to connect with out of town guests and get ready. The hotel made the day feel all about us and was flexible and accommodating. Guests raved about the food, beach wedding was breathtaking and months later people are still telling us how epic everything was at our wedding. As a bride, I felt no stress knowing I was in good hands at this Venue. The venue has a preferred optional list of vendorss like DJ (Joe with Driftwoods) and photographer (Val Ritter) that are amazing! ❤️ 👰🏼 🎩

Beautiful Resort

TradeWinds Island Grand is the most beautiful spot on the gulf. Ladies - you will not be disappointed getting married on this beach. White sand, friendly staff, and I swear there is something in the air at the resort that makes it smell so good there! There is truly something for everyone to do too. Inflatable slides, kids clubs, paddle boating and bonfires. I was so happy that this resort was able to accommodate all of my guests. It was just so easy to manage and being from out of town, I was nervous that it wouldn’t be. Communication was easy and all was just taken care of upon arrival. I was a little sad that the resort was going to charge us $5 per bag to deliver our hotel welcome bags to our guests. We just decided to deliver them ourselves and it was no big deal. If I could do it all over, I wouldn’t change a thing!

We recently held my son's wedding at the Tradewinds. Julie Manes the Wedding Sales Manger did an awesome job taking care of us. We can't thank Julie and her team enough for making our son's day truly amazing. They went far beyond my expectations and provided excellent professionalism. Tradewinds staff kept everything running smoothly. The guests all stated that they had a wonderful time! Everyone at Tradewinds did their best to make us feel special, from Greg the bellhop who helped us with the wedding decor, to Audrey the housekeeper who made sure we had everything we needed. Tilda and the wait staff did an excellent job, even going above and beyond to make sure everyone had what they needed. Thank you so much for all your team did!

My wife and I chose the Tradewinds for our venue based on one phone conversation with Maria. After Maria told us all of the activities there were available for our guests at the resort, we knew this place was the perfect location for a destination wedding.
Honestly, I could not recommend Maria and her team at the Tradewinds more for any bride. She always made me feel like I was her #1 priority and no question I asked was silly or irrelevant. She put me at ease for MONTHS over small and large details. The planning process was smooth and the lead up made the experience a joy to plan for an out of town bride.
We stayed at the Tradewinds for a few days leading up to the wedding and the entire staff was just AMAZING to our entire wedding party. No request went unheard and we were treated top notch. Our room was a beautiful balcony room with a suite living room (THIS MADE OUR DAY OF GET READY PROCESS AMAZING!) and we had so much space.
The food at the reception was outstanding and the chef went out of his way to make sure every one was satisfied. Our guests RAVED about the steak we served. The servers/bartenders/attendants were all amazing and the meals came out hot and on time. The servers even made sure my wife and I were eating and brought our leftovers directly to our room fridge so we could finish our dinners after the wedding.
One of the highlights of our day was a surprise Maria had planned for us during cocktail hour. Maria is a huge Disney person like my wife and myself and she bought a Mickey stencil (it said Love) to have the chefs carve a fruit display. It was so thoughtful and personal - we truly loved every moment of working with her. We also used Driftwood Events as our planner (associated with hotel) and I will review their top-notch 100% amazing service too! All in all, we could not have been happier with our wedding at the TW.

Excellent support from the Tradewinds team! Everyone was very professional and helpful. Shout out to Julie and Maria for all their help with the planning and meetings prior to the wedding. Top notch staff during the reception and rehearsal dinner! We had the rehearsal dinner at Bermuda's and they were excellent! Our guests are still raving about the food! Highly recommend for any couple looking for a beautiful venue on the beach.

We chose the TradeWinds Island Grand Resort for my daughter's wedding and we are so glad we did!
Absolutely everyone we dealt with, from the managers to the chef, were very accommodating, flexible and extremely nice people .
Julie Manes the wedding sales manager was outstanding! She literally would respond to most of my emails within minutes!
She was so helpful with booking all of the rooms for our guests and, even though we had amazing wedding planners with Driftwood Wedding and Events, I still felt like Julie was a huge part of helping me make decisions every step of the way. The food tasting was a highlight of the whole planning process. It was over-the-top amazing and, as promised, was just as delicious and hot at the reception.
The property at the TradeWinds is unbelievable for hosting a wedding or any event where people come from all over or just from the other side of town. Our guests were able to enjoy a whole weekend of fun without even having to leave the property. Several people said it was the best wedding they had ever been to!
I would highly recommend the TradeWinds and would give them more than 5 stars if possible!!

The Tradewinds and everyone working there made my wedding an absolute dream come true. Julie and Maria were absolutely fantastic to work with and took care of everything. They were always very quick to answer any questions and went above and beyond for special requests my groom and I had. Food was amazing, venue was beautiful, and they were very accommodating--they even extended my reception when it got delayed due to rain. They treat you as if this was a wedding in their own family and want everything to be perfect.

The company they use for day of coordination, Exquisite Events, was fantastic as well. Danielle was there every step of the day to answer questions, troubleshoot problems and ensure I was not stressed at all.

I recommend this place 200%.

Our daughter got married on the Breck Deck and had her reception in the Pavillion at the TW on April 30th this year. We cannot express how pleased we were with everything, top to bottom, start to finish! Julie Manes was amazing! She responded to every question almost immediately and always with a cheerful attitude. Her responsiveness made the wedding planning process so much easier. Chloe, with Exquisite Events, was also fantastic and took care of coordinating with all of our vendors (florist, photographers, DJ, etc) before and during the wedding/reception which allowed us and our daughter to enjoy the day stress-free.
The Breck Deck was fantastic for the ceremony, plenty of space and beautiful backdrop of the beach without having to be "on the sand". The Pavillion was the perfect place for the reception. Huge space (plenty of room for seating, bars, DJ, photo booth), fantastic up-lighting and large dance floor made for a beautiful and fun reception. The rehearsal dinner was also held on the Breck Deck which turned out great with a gorgeous sunset. We also held a "Farewell Breakfast" on the South Lawn the morning after the reception which was a hit with everyone. Again, a beautiful setting.
In terms of food for all of the events (rehearsal, reception, farewell breakfast).....it was outstanding!! I cannot say enough great things about every dish we were served! The chef was extremely flexible and was able to accommodate some dietary restrictions and special requests with no problem. For the rehearsal dinner we had the hors d'oeuvres reception with pork loin carving station and pasta bar. For the wedding reception we chose the plated dinner with a choice of filet mignon, chicken, sea bass or vegetarian. We requested all steaks be prepared medium rare....and they were! The sea bass was incredible, cooked perfect. The guests raved about everything. For the farewell breakfast, they had a huge spread of eggs, bacon, potatoes, smoked salmon, pastries....it was perfect!

Make sure to ask a lot of questions about service, expectations and flexibility. We found the Tradewinds Resort to be very flexible and did their absolute best to reasonably accommodate our wedding plans. It is quite obvious that this is not just a "side business" for the Resort. Every detail and conversation is professionally taken care of with no surprises. We'd recommend the Tradewinds to anyone looking for a wedding venue or any top notch banquet of any kind.

They went above and beyond our expectations for our beach wedding and reception. Everyone that helped put it together at the Tradewinds was kind and very helpful especially Mrs Julie. Let me first start by saying - Our day was everything we dreamed of and more!! We began our wedding weekend by staying here at the TradeWinds, with many other family and guests. Our wedding was on Sunday but we arrived Friday and stayed through Monday. The entire time we were there the whole staff was so welcoming, happy, and caring. They truly were on the ball in all aspects. The restaurants are delicious, and the servers are so friendly and upbeat. I also loved our hotel room, it was very large and perfect for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in.

On to the day of. The TradeWinds along with EE handled everything from set-up to planning to last minute requests. Julie, Maria, and all of the wonderful catering staff, wedding staff, etc were just so wonderful!! They put me at ease, they were always happy, and they were very attentive! Even though the TradeWinds is a very busy place - they manage to make it seem like 100% of their focus is on you!

The food: the food is absolutely to die for! We had a buffet and it did not disappoint. Our guests are still raving!!
The ceremony: the beach is beautiful, the chairs are perfect, the fence is adorable, the whole thing was just perfect!!
The reception: we chose an outdoor reception, on north break deck. I was a little nervous about being next to a pool, but it actually did not make a difference. The pool is adult only so it was very quiet, and the way they had everything set up I never even noticed it! The guests are also adorable, at one point an older couple was dancing to a slow song in the water - it was precious. They also fenced off our reception area so there were no distractions or passer byers.

Overall: Overall the TradeWinds was excellent. I am so happy I chose them.

The staff, the location, the food, and the amount of effort that they put into your big day is 100% worth every penny. I'm so thankful we were married here!!

TradeWinds did an outstanding job with our wedding ceremony & reception!! Julie Manes was absolutely fantastic to work with throughout the planning process. She was so responsive, flexible & easy to work with. The ceremony & reception set-ups were done just as we'd discussed. Everything looked terrific! What a gorgeous setting!! The beach is beautiful and so is the resort. All of the banquet staff did an amazing job. They were all professional, polite and helpful. Excellent customer service. The food was delicious as were the drinks.

We are so happy that we chose the Tradewinds for our Wedding! Absolutely beautiful location on the beach, gorgeous property, amazing staff and Julie was the absolute best! I cannot say enough about the Tradewinds. It truly was a dream come true to be married at such a beautiful resort.

Julie Manes is an absolute DREAM to work with. From the second we started planning, she was with us every step of the way. She responded to emails so fast, took phone calls whenever we needed her and did whatever it took to make our dream wedding happen.

During the reception, the staff was so friendly and my new husband and I even had our own personal captain to take care of our every wish... our food was delivered early so we could mingle with guests during dinner, there were 2 drinks and appetizers waiting for us on our sweetheart table after our first dance and everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time (which we so did!!). And the food was OUTSTANDING. You would have never thought this food was "wedding food."

If you are having a wedding on St. Pete Beach, there really is no better venue than the Tradewinds. I truly cannot even imagine getting married anywhere else and I definitely cannot even imagine getting married without Julie there to help every step of the way.

From the very beginning, Julie was all about making our wedding planning days as easy as possible & sharing names of vendors in the area and providing us with all the answers we had from the very beginning to the end of the most beautiful wedding you could ever imagine. Julie is tops in the business! We previously went to another venue and we're not even offered a glass of water when we arrived and Julie welcomed us as though we had been friends forever and offered us something to drink right away. I was the wedding planner for our daughter and Julie helped me make her dream wedding come true. The food was exceptional, the Pavilion was decorated beautifully and service top notch! If you don't call Julie Manes & plan a visit to the TradeWinds, you will be making a huge mistake.

We booked both the ceremony and the reception at the Tradewinds Island Grand resort for my daughter's wedding. Our wedding coordinator at the resort was Julie. She was absolutely amazing. We worked with Julie for about 7 months on all the details that go into a wedding. Julie was always available to answer our questions. She gave us many money saving suggestions along the way. The reception, cocktail hour and the reception areas were all set up perfectly. We had a sit down dinner and Chef Matt made some amazing dishes and was able to cater to those with special dietary needs.
I would recommend the services of Julie at the Tradewinds for and wedding or event you are planning. Julie made it feel like I was dealing with a family friend.

When researching venues, we wanted a beach ceremony with an indoor reception, as well as hotels nearby for guests to stay the night. Many venues along St Petersburg Beach offers this combination, but we picked Tradewinds because we felt they had the absolute best combination of options! Tradewinds is a large property with several spots to choose from for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We had our ceremony on the south beach with the cocktail hour on the south lawn overlooking the beach. Everything was absolutely perfect and beautiful. The beach site at Tradewinds is set a bit back from the water so we had no tourists in the background of our ceremony, yet we were close enough to have the water in the background. The sunset was absolutely amazing and we have the best pictures. We held our reception in the pavillion which was perfect - easy to decorate with lighting and decor; plenty of room for guests to eat, drink, and dance. The quality of food and drinks was excellent, as was the service. Julie Manes and Lynn Clark are so organized and professional, they were helpful every step of the way. Julie and Lynn were very quick to respond to emails/phone calls, and we were just so happy with the way everything came together. Also loved that there are so many restaurants and bars on the property, getting breakfast/snacks/lunch was so easy throughout the weekend, and it was so much fun to meet at the tiki bar or other places on property after the rehearsal dinner and reception. Once at Tradewinds, we did not leave the resort for 4 days because everything we needed was there. We highly recommend the Tradewinds for your big event!

I can not say enough about the staff at TradeWinds Island Grand! From start to finish they did everything to make sure our wedding day went smoothly, and it did! Julie Manes is so wonderful, she is quick to respond to any questions you have. Ashley from Exquisite Events was so great as our day of coordinator! Together with Julie, Ashley and the whole staff at the TradeWinds, our day could not have been more perfect! The day of the wedding was so stress free knowing that there were so many experienced people dedicated to our wedding. I could write a book about how great the TradeWinds is! I highly recommend to any bride that is looking for a stress free planning experience!

The Tradewinds Island Resort is the absolute perfect venue for a beautiful tropical wedding! Julie Manes is so great and works with you to make everything perfect! Our rehearsal dinner was on the south lawn and we had a beautiful sunset and the Florida buffet which was great for my family from NY to feel like they were on a tropical vacation. The resort is completely kid friendly and big kid friendly, with so much to do! My out of town guests LOVED it and want to go back for another vacation there!!'
My ceremony was absolutely to die for on the Breck Deck out by the beach. We had another amazing sunset for photos! We were so lucky!!! Steel drum band by Mello Vibes set the tropical setting off! Then it was go the beautiful Pavilion tent for the reception, gorgeous is all I have to say about that! Exquisite Events is hired to make your day run smoothly and they do an impeccable job! I didn't worry about a thing all day! They shuttled me where ever I had to be and I just got to relax and take it all in. The food is supreme! We had chicken, sea bass and filet and everyone was raving about each dish, we couldn't be happier. Perfect day! Perfect wedding! Perfect venue!!!! Thank you Tradewinds!!! I planned my wedding all the way from Spain and I researched and compared all resorts along the gulf coast for the perfect place. My wedding was an informal intimate one on the beach with 35 guests. My wife and I wanted that picturesque beach wedding with white chairs, roses, a pergola and the sunset in the background and the Tradewinds more than delivered. I was a little nervous about planning a wedding from the other side of the Atlantic but when I called and spoke with the amazing Julie Manes I knew I was in good hands. I was able to tell immediately that I was speaking with a professional by the way she answered my questions without hesitation and even explained some things that I hadn't even thought of. For seven months along with their collaborators at Exquisite Events, Julie managed our invoicing, dinner plans, payments, and pretty much anything we needed she never took longer than 24 hours to get us a response. I essentially planned the entire wedding from my computer thanks to Julie's knowledge and hard work. The day of the wedding we were lucky enough to have great weather. From our room we were able to see the wedding preparations which started early in the morning. When the time finally arrived Julie came and personally drove my wife and her parents in a little golf cart to our wedding spot on the beach where I was waiting for them. After the wedding we had a cockatil hour in which Art was our bartender and he was delightful. When we went inside for the reception it was Lilly who coordinated everything. Lilly was so sweet and charming along with Aziz they made sure we had everything we needed. At the end of the night my family was so impressed with every aspect of the wedding. I wish I could take credit for it but in all honesty it was the great team at Exquisite Events, Julie's expertise, Art's charm, and Lilly and Aziz's attentiveness which made everything run so smoothly. The TradeWinds is an absolutely beautiful location to have a wedding! Our ceremony was on the deck overlooking the water and reception in a gorgeously decorated Pavilion. Everything was perfect and all of the staff is helpful and kind! They catered to all of our large family and wedding party needs from start to finish. We got married in March at the TradeWinds Island Grand Resort. It couldn't have turned out better. The beach was such a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony. Our reception was held inside. The food is absolutely amazing! We had filet mignon, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and ceasar salad. Everyone of our guests ate their entire plate.

Leading up to the wedding we worked with Julie-the wedding coordinator. She is absolutely fantastic. She is flexible and will get you want you want to make your wedding day perfect. She responds quickly to emails, too!

All the decorations were set up for us the day of thanks to the day-of-coordinator that the TradeWinds provided.

I just got married at the Tradewinds a couple weeks ago and it was perfect. The staff did a great job, the food was amazing and Julie was with me every step of the way. Julie did a great job of answering all my questions and reassuring me with all of my concerns and made sure everything was handled like she promised. Thank you!! All of my family commented on what a great venue we chose. They have something at the resort for every age. My family came from all over and they were all able to stay for a long weekend and make it a fun family vacation. I could not have asked for a better venue and venue staff. Dominique from Exquisite Events, provided by the Tradewinds, was my day of coordinator and she was fabulous. She had safety pins when my bustle broke, club soda when someone stepped on my dress and it left a mark and she made sure all my guest were where they were suppose to be so that I could enjoy my day. We just got married at TradeWinds on New Years Eve. Were from Indianapolis, so planning from a far had the potential to be difficult. Everything was perfect except for the reservations department for our reserved block. We had multiple people comment to us that they had to stay at a different hotel because they were told that there were no rooms available yet when I checked with Julie Manes there would be rooms available. My sense is that you lost patronage due to your reservations department.

Julie M and all the Staff at TradeWinds Island Resort were wonderful during the wedding planning process. From the first day we met Julie, she was very welcoming, showed us all the venue options and listened to all our questions; if she did not have the answer, she would found it and got back with us! Once we signed the contract, she helped us every step of the way. She took the time to get to know us and helped make recommendations she though we would like; from food options to venue set up she was spot on. They were very accommodating with EVERY special request we had. Our big day turned out to be EXACTLY the way we dreamed of, if not better and we owe it all to Julie and her staff. The food from the cocktail hour to the dinner tasted perfect and we got nothing but complements from our guests about it! The partnership between the banquet staff and our vendors was great as well! Our daughter just got married at the Tradewinds Island Grand and it was such an amazing experience . It is a beautiful resort but what sold us on having our daughters reception there was Julie. She was the most attentive and caring wedding coordinator . Other coordinators from different venues didn't come close . From day 1 she was quick to respond, answer any questions, give suggestions, calm nerves and was available 24/7. I can't thank her enough for all she did for us.!
The food was delicious ! The chef, wait staff bartenders were superb. Everyone from the front desk to concierge to bell hops were awesome! Talk to Julie and have your wedding at the Tradewinds!!

My Son got married on the beach, on August 10, 2013 everything was wonderful. From Julie Manes, to Tanya Williams to all the women from the coordinating team got us and our party of 155 people organized,moved from the beach to cocktails, to reception to the end. It could not have been any better, except as the MOG i had to kick out 3 young ladies during the reception who where crashing the party. Not the fault of Trade Winds. The one thing that I would have like to see improve is the "hotel checkin process" Bridal parties should have priority over any other check in, but that would be the only thing. It Was a blast!!! The TradeWinds was a perfect setting for my daughter's beach wedding! The wedding coordinator, Julie Manes, is one of the most friendliest, down to earth people I have ever met. No problem seemed to be too big nor small to her. She worked with us the whole year in planning and when it came to our big weekend she went above and beyond in helping us. In fact, the whole TradeWinds staff are wonderful. It is a family run resort and the human touch is there. From the friendly car attendants, the concierge, the pullman, the day and night managers, (Tom the night manager was so very helpful and friendly when we were putting our table favors out),the serving staff, ect. My son was recently married at the Tradewinds Island Resorts. We were very pleased with the planning, the ceremony, and the wedding reception. The only issue we had was some rain, but Julie Manes, the wedding coordinator, quickly got us set up in a very nice indoor area. Julie was very helpful and professional when planning the wedding. Her easy-going manner quickly put us at ease. Equally helpful was Tanya Williams, the manager of Bermudas restaurant where we held the reception. Tanya was very helpful in planning the wedding dinner by communicating quickly through calls and emails. The food and service at Bermudas was excellent. The rain let up and we were able to take pictures outside, and the beach made a wonderful background to our pictures. I highly recommend the Tradewinds Island Resorts!

Tradewinds was a great place to have our wedding. We have a lot of family that live out of state and were looking for a venue that would allow our guests to create their own family vacation in conjunction with celebrating our marriage. The Tradewinds offered everything from children activities, romantic dinners to late night fun, everyone enjoyed themselves! The staff were so courteous and attentive to all of the guests needs. Although there were multiple events going on the weekend and day of my wedding, I still felt as if I was the main event. My only recommendation to Tradewinds is investing into either purchasing a steamer or collaborating with a good dry cleaning/alterations/bridal shop for brides who may need to have their dress steamed.

We were treated like royalty the minute we drove up. Free valet parking, free champagne and strawberries in our room, we got free drinks everywhere….everywhere we walked they just asked us what they could do for us. The staff was invaluable at the reception when my DOC was getting nervous about setting everything up in time. Renee was my contact and was always very responsive, understanding and helpful. We came for a tasting many months before our wedding date. We were so nervous about the food because we didn't really have a great experience and ended up changing the entire menu. It was AMAZING! Every filet mignon was cooked wonderfully. The food was outstanding. I was so happy we chose them.

My only little complaints would be about the rooms. Most all of them come with 2 double beds and you can't get a king size almost ever. Our honeymoon suite didn't even have a king size bed. Also we had quite a few drunk wedding crashers because our reception was outside next to the pool. We had some crashers come steal cupcakes. It would be nice if they had some extra security next to the adult pool.

TradeWinds was absolutely amazing! Besides being huge and gorgeous I was never once bored or having to look for something to do. We had my wedding and a huge family reunion the same weekend and Tradewinds was extremely accomodating and a perfect venue for both events. I would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a venue for any type of event and I will definately be going back here for future vacations!

The TradeWinds Island Resort far exceeded my expectations for the wedding!!! We had the classy wedding of our dreams on a budget! Our friends and family still can't stop commenting on how this was the best wedding they've ever been too. Renee was so professional and very accomodating to any need we had. You can tell that they are known for thier events...everything was flawless. Being this was a destination wedding, it was important to us to pick a location where our friends and family would feel like they were on "vacation" and not just at a wedding. The TradeWinds has something for everyone. Tons of restaurants and beach bars! They provide cabana's on the beach, an adult only heated pool, paddleboat rides, beach volleyball and much more! We stayed there for five days leading up to the wedding and the staff treated us like royalty. They offer many locations for ceremony and reception. They also have many different options on the menu for you to choose. The food and service was outstanding. They truely made our day so special and we were able to "let go" of all the details and enjoy our day!

We had our cocktail hour and reception at the TradeWinds last month and it was absolutely amazing! We were so pleased with how everything turned out. The cocktail hour was outside on the lawn with a view of the beach and the sunset, which was perfect. Maria in particular was incredibly helpful and patient with my countless questions in the months preceding the wedding and I can't thank her enough. Our guests raved at the food afterwards, many commenting that it was the best meal they have had at a wedding. We were even able to meet with the head chef Matthew O. beforehand and had a private consultation with him where he listened to our requests. Everyone from the wait staff, valets, and the assigned day of coordinator were so great to work with. I would definitely recommend them for your upcoming wedding.

Julie and Maria and their staff at the Trade Winds Island Grand made our day the more special than I could have dreamed of. They provided Lisa of Exquisite Events to coordinate the event. I planned a wedding for 45 people from San Diego and everything went flawlessly! The food was delicious, the decor was fantastic, and the staff professional, timely, and friendly! Everyone kept telling us that of all the beach weddings they had been to, ours was the best! They provided a list of vendors that all turned out to be a huge success. My only complaint is that they make you financially responsible for any hotel rooms in your block that don't sell (if the hotel doesn't sell out). I was reassured all year long that they would sell out, but when they didn't, we were almost stuck with $3,000 in unused hotel rooms. They required our guests to honor the 2 night minimum, many of which didn't want to pay that much. We ended up giving away some rooms to some of our local guests. Julie did work with me, though, and arranged it so that we didn't have to pay for any attrition. Would like to have not had that issue, but at least Julie helped lessen the blow. All in all, a beautiful venue and one I would highly recommend!

TradeWinds was a fantastic venue! The setting for the ceremony on the beach and reception on the South Lawn were exactly what we wanted for our perfect day! We also had our rehearsal dinner at Pirate Cove and the fire pit and tiki laterns were a great addition. Everything was customizable, and Julie Manes was wonderful through the entire planning process. She kept us up to date on everything and worked with us on the menu, bar selection, ceremony features, etc. I would recommend the TradeWinds to anyone looking to get married in the St. Pete area.

The Rivera/McDaniel wedding was a complete amazing exceptional experience. Family, Friends and guests were so impressed with everything from the location to the service staff and the food "Phenomenal." A large part of those attending plan to make Tradewinds Island Resorts a permanent vacation spot. Ms. Julie Maness was wonderful. From beginning to end she let me and my family feel we were a priority and all would be well taken care of. She delivered. I can not express how grateful we are to Julie, Ms Ashley, The wonderful Chefs and the staff. Thank you thank you for making my little girls dream wedding a reality. Oh I almost forgot, the gentleman in charge of the Flying Bridge restaurant, he was so nice and attentive we had to recommend to all to dine there. The property was beautiful as always! The staff was terriffic and Julie Manes was wonderful! She really made everything extra special for us. The banquet servers were terrific. Had one minor hiccup but nothing that ruined the night :-)

Where to start, I am the Father of the Bride, our 3rd daughter to be married, so I do have some experience . Every aspect of the wedding planning , the hotels services and the event met the highest level of standards and service that we could have asked for and the value we could have expected. We used virtually all of the services of the hotel, the valets, the restaurants, the hair salon, the beach and resort facilities, the wedding planning facilities and many, many individual members of the staff in different capacities. All of the staff performed exceptionally well. The wedding planning was extensive and handled exceptionally well, more details than could have possibility been imagined were carried out flawlessly. Even the doormen handled the “Mission Critical” assignments, transporting my wife’s gown and my daughter’s bridal gown perfectly! Julie Manes, our amazing wedding sales manager, was accessible by phone, email and in person before the event, right up to the event and the day of. She handled all of the large and small details that were necessary to provide such a flawless ceremony, cocktail reception and dinner. The food and service were exceptional. All of the hors d’oeuvres and service during the reception and dinner were exactly as we had asked for, hoped for and expected. Our dinners came our warm and prepared as asked for, some of the best banquet food we have ever eaten. The preparation team had to set up the wedding Pavilion in a very short period of time and turned it into exactly the "Vision" my daughter and wife had pictured. The entire facilitating of my daughter’s wedding weekend was above and beyond our expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend the Tradewinds.

We had a small ceremony on the back at Tradewinds and it was beautiful but a little pricey. We had to pay $300 for renting 15 chairs for the beach. They say that it includes a back up of indoor space but for a small party $300 was kinda pricey for beach. Still was a beautiful location would not trade it.

Beautiful Destination Beach Wedding

Starting out our wedding planning we knew we would have to have a destination wedding with both families living in different states, and being in the middle of a move out to Washington State. Let me say how lucky were we to have found the Tradewinds! My husband and I love the beach so FL was our plan from the beginning, and with St Pete being close to the Tampa airport it was very easy for guests to book flights and arrive with ease.
Throughout the planning process we dealt with Maria, who is an absolute gem! She was beyond accommodating, was very prompt answering emails and calls, and was always there with back up plans and suggestions when we hit some bumps in the road.
The resort itself is beautiful, with a fantastic and spacious beach, multiple (delicious) restaurants and bars on property, pools, and endless other activities. If you happen to decide to venture outside of the resort it is located on a great strip that includes countless other activities, restaurants, and bars.
We decided to have our ceremony on the South Beach, with a cocktail hour in the courtyard ( which was moved earlier in the day to a covered portico because of potential rain) and our reception in their large “Pavilion” which is an enclosed air conditioned tent. We LOVED all of the different sites, and our guests did as well! They were spotless, comfortable, and looked great in pictures!
We also loved that our guests (120 of them!) could chose to book through the resort, or someplace nearby!
Overall we absolutely loved the TW resorts, they were beautiful, the staff were helpful and kind, and our guests all had an amazing time! I would confidently recommend them to anyone planning a long distance wedding!

I recently had my destination wedding & honeymoon here! Everything & everyone were beyond amazing! Julie made it so easy planning a wedding from half way across the country! Our wedding package came with wedding coordinating services from Exquisite Events, Casey was great!!! Once we got there everyone felt at home (only better!) Bob was great by the pool, checking on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves! I could not have asked for anything more perfect! Food & drinks were great everywhere within the Island Grand and down at the Outpost! My guests loved the resort & were very impressed! My family had a blast and so did we! We will be back soon!!! If you are in search of a wedding venue or a great vacation, LOOK NO FURTHER!

The Tradewinds Island Grand is an amazing venue for a beach wedding in St. Pete Beach. Our big day was amazing and I am so glad we went with the Tradewinds for our big day. The event staff Maria and Julie were very easy to work with and made sure we had everything we ever wanted to make our day magical. The food was excellent and all our guest were raving about the food. The bar staff were very friendly and quick to fix an issue with the beverages being served. Which made my groom very happy. The catering staff was great as well but not very flexible when it came to the clean up. All in all if you are looking to have an amazing and beautiful day, the Tradewinds is a great location.

Julie Manes team and tradewinds were absolutely wonderful planning our wedding with over 150 guests coming from NY. It was the wedding we dreamed of when putting it all together. She is wonderful to deal with and tradewinds was just beautiful. what a great venue. We made a weekend spectacular out of our wedding with memories that will last a lifetime. Our wedding at the Tradewinds Island Grand was perfect - my wife is hindu, and we live in NYC, so there were all kinds of moving parts and complications, but everything came together smoothly thanks to Julie and her team. We also hired wedding coordinators separately (although following Julie's recommendation) and they were able to work with the Tradewinds staff to get everything arranged for us. The setting is beautiful, the staff was all friendly and helpful, and all our guests had a great time. The Tradewinds even happened to have an Indian cook on staff, and the food was top notch!

One stop shopping. Had rehearsal on the patio of area of their excellent Palm court restaurant . Ceremony next day. Initially planned 3 distinct parts of resort for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Had to go to back up plan because of weather . They handled it beautifully. Our 150+ guests raved about the wedding. The food was terrific , large portions . Best part of all was the amazing staff from the bellman and valets, to servers , and even housekeeping . Accommodations were terrific. Handled our children and elderly handicapped family members with great care.

TradeWinds Island Grand is an amazing venue in every way! Julie made us feel comfortable right away. Every email/call was responded to timely. I couldn't decide on 2 options, asked her, she suggested the cheaper so I appreciated her guidance and felt she had my best interest in mind it wasn't all business. Our guests loved TW it was a true vacation for non-Floridians. Games/activities at pool for kids and bar crawls/spa for adults! I do NOT recommend the nail salon!! Kids enjoyed the slide almost as much as our drunk guests! Julie called me morning of the wedding and told me to call if I need anything, then she text me few hours later to check on me. She's so sweet and more help than the planner I hired! Cocktail hour was on Breck Deck everyone said how nice it was watching the sunset before heading into Pavillion tent for reception. Jen handled the reception and many told me she was so nice, helpful and worked her butt off- thanks, Jen!! The food was delish (filet, sea bass, and chkn marsala)! Got compliments from the few vegetarians so that dish must have been good, too. We had many with food allergies and they assured me all was good! TW has Beef O Brady's so when reception ended we moved down the hall- nice to continue party without going offsite. Bellhops took gifts/supplies to room so we didn't have to. If honeymoon suite isn't booked they may upgrade you! I have to say it's worth the money to have a wedding at a resort where you don't have to worry about travel/guests needing rental cars, you can pop into your room at anytime. Everything we needed was right there it was so convenient and made a stressful event much more relaxing for everyone. Our guests continue to talk about the beautiful sunsets and the great accommodations at TW. Thank you Julie, thank you Jen, and thank you TradeWinds, for all your hard work which made for an unforgettable week and a wedding we always dreamed of. We are already looking forward to a staycation for our anniversary.

The Tradewinds did an absolutely wonderful job!! Our ceremony was on the "breck deck," which is a gorgeous location to have a wedding. It also has the advantage of having the beach in the background without everyone having to walk in sand. All of the staff at the resort is incredibly friendly including our wedding planner Julie, the bar tenders at our event, and all the staff in the restaurants. The food is fantastic and we got raving feedback from all our guest.

We celebrated our son's recent marriage with a fabulous party weekend a the Tradewinds Resort. The resort offers a wide variety of venues restaurants, bars, inside and outside overlooking the beautiful beach setting. The Breck Deck South was just perfect for our Sunset Cocktails, Buffet Dinner and Dancing. The general staff was excellent from the moment we arrived on Friday--friendly, welcoming and attentive. But most of all we give kudos to Julie Manes who coordinated accommodations, gift bags, menus etc. etc. Our wish was her command and she responded to all of our requests cheerfully and competently. She was an absolute delight to work with. Our chef, servers, with Jennifer at the helm at the event had everything running smoothly and our guests were complementary about the food and drink. Our
Farewell Breakfast at Bermudas Restaurant was great. Luann our server made sure we were all well taken care of and the food was delicious and everyone especially enjoyed those omelets! We highly recommend this venue not only for weddings but also for special family events which include children/grandchildren as there are so many activities and amenities for the little ones. We married at the Trade Winds on April 6th 2013 . We first decided on this venue because after visiting almost all the beach resorts on st pete beach this was the best as far as the quality of the hotel & the value. Julie made it super easy. We were married on the beach & had our reception in the main ballroom. They were great about setting everything up & we were able to use the ballroom the night before to get all of our things together (place cards, candy buffet) They were very accommodating to anything we needed. We had our rehearsal dinner there as well outside around the fire pit & it was BEAUTIFUL & private. It got a little chilly at night and they even gave my little nieces Trade Winds sweatshirts. So sweet!! The food was great, the staff was very friendly. We lost the flower girl basket & last minute they made one for me. I will say the size of the resort is very large which can make things a little difficult. We lost several things after my wedding including cameras, my wedding shoes, my sand ceremony kit and no one seemed to find them. I would recommend still having an extra helper besides Julie she is too busy. The resort DOES have a lot of weddings, but I never felt I was just another bride. We went over on the time (having too much fun) about an hour & they never said anything. Id recommend this venue to my friends.

The Tradewinds Island Grande was a perfect place to have our wedding. It is a sprawling space that has several different areas for you to have your ceremony. They have space to have the ceremony inside or outside. They also have a lot of space for receptions, and the spaces vary in size to accommodate your wedding guests.
Tradewinds caters the event as well and they have several different packages that you can choose from that range in price. Everything was absolutely delish!!

For our wedding, we had our ceremony out on the Breck Deck. We had about 150 guests and the space was wonderful. We wanted to have the ceremony outside but not on the sand because the wedding was more formal. The space had beautiful tile flooring and it looked out on the water and sunset!!
For the cocktail hour we were in the Portico which is an elegant space right in front of the pavilion. It was set up with appetizers and cocktails. The guests could chat with each other and had great high cocktail tables to use.
The reception was inside the pavilion which is a beautiful space! It really comes alive with your vision!
You will not be disappointed!!

Had an amazing reception

We did our wedding at a church and our reception at Tradewinds.

Pros:
-The cocktail hour was beautiful overlooking the beach during sunset and the appetizers were beautifully displayed
-The staff did a great job making sure that my husband and I had food and drinks consistently throughout the night
-The recommended vendors list provided vendors that frequently work together which simplified things
-The guests had a great time and enjoyed the beach cabanas, water slide, pedal boats, and weather
-Hannah and Jim were responsive throughout the planning process and answered the many questions I had in a timely manner
-The pavilion looked beautiful after paying for uplighting and canopy lighting

Cons:
-I did feel like I was being nickel and dimed a lot of the time. They wouldn't hand out our welcome bags and wanted to charge $5 per bag to deliver them to our guests who were paying a lot of money to stay at the hotel. They also increased the service fee from the time I signed the contract to the wedding and said that was allowed because the contract said "currently 24%."
-They won't guarantee any specific spaces for your event. I was told verbally that I would have certain spaces and that it "shouldn't be an issue" but was told a couple weeks before the wedding that they could no longer guarantee my cocktail hour space. Luckily they changed that 2 days before the wedding and it was able to go back to the original plan, but it was very stressful because I had pictured a certain thing and had that information on my invitations, and the other options were very different.
-Hannah was our main point of contact and told us she was pregnant when she was about to deliver 3 weeks before the wedding. The wedding was seemingly handed over without a meeting or much information to Jim a couple weeks before the wedding. He made a comment that our file was lacking in information after a year of planning. Luckily my coordinator stepped in for us and filled in the gaps for him but that was added stress.
-It is an old hotel, so there are a lot of smaller rooms and double beds and old slow elevators and corny things like mini golf and pirate ships but if you dress it up right you can still have a classy event

The Tradewinds is an awesome resort to have a wedding at in St. Pete. They get high marks for value, friendliness of staff, and their food (breakfast, hors d'oeuvres, and the plated dinners at the wedding were all AMAZING - guests are still raving about them!). They are family friendly and extremely flexible to couples and their needs. It's a huge resort with numerous ceremony and reception locations to choose from (and the gazebos and swans are beautiful for pictures). We booked this venue as a destination wedding location and were surprised at how much nicer this venue was than other local hotels of the same price (Sirata, Dolphin Beach, Howard Johnson, Postcard Inn). We looked at the Don Cesar and the Sandpearl hotel but decided that the $10-$15K more that we would have to pay at those locations wasn't worth it (plus they were very inflexible to our needs at those locations). The rooms were a little pricier at Tradewinds, but many of our guests stayed at the Howard Johnson and Guy Harvey hotel right next door. The wedding coordinator, Julie Manes was professional, experienced, responsive, and sweet as ever. I gave 4 stars on professionalism mainly due to the finance department and front desk clerks that weren't very helpful when guests were trying to book on the room block (they were nice, but not very educated about the room block process). Also, this is a family friendly hotel that was really great for our guests with families as well as our "party animal" adults (lots of bar locations), but just a warning - during spring break there are screaming kids everywhere.... lol We visited during Nov/Dec and it was much more serene :)

The Tradewinds grounds were beautlful, the wedding professionals were great to work with, and I'd choose the same place again.

We recently held our wedding reception at the Tradewinds Island Grand and guest accommodations at the Tradewinds Guy Harvey Resort. The resort offers a great variety of activities that appealed all of our guests and has a wonderful location on the beach. The venue was beautiful and absolutely perfect for our reception. We worked with Julie to plan our event. She helped us along the way to determine the locations on the property and vendors to use to achieve our vision. Julie was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her positive and light hearted attitude helped me get through several stressful situations with a smile and a good laugh which is pretty much priceless! The hotel & event staff was professional and very helpful. I would highly recommend both Julie and the Tradewinds for your wedding day!

We had a wonderful experience working with Julie Manes at the Tradewinds. We were in contact with her regularly and she was most accommodating while responding promptly to every email, which made our lives less stressful. She truly wants to make your wedding the perfect day. We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, reception, and farewell breakfast all at the TW and every event was perfect. The food was phenomenal, as was the service. During the wedding weekend, every question or request was addressed immediately. Julie really goes the extra mile for you. The only thing I would suggest for future brides is to request to see the bridal suite. It has a kind size bed with jacuzzi and although not a gulf front suite, it's really nice. Also, make sure that if you book this suite, make it clear you want the BRIDAL suite and for what night(s). The room we were given at first was not the bridal suite we booked, which resulted in us having to move all of our stuff (a lot) from two separate rooms into one when this could and should have been avoided. Nonetheless, the staff handled it well and got it taken care of for us.

Overall, the Tradewinds is a wonderful venue for a wedding. They have so many areas to choose from for various events. All of our events were at different locations so our guests really got the full effect of the beautiful property. Our experience there was everything we envisioned it to be.

I had a great experience at the Tradewinds, which is where we held our reception. The staff was very friendly and professional. The ballroom was beautiful & the food was delicious.

My only advice is to stay in touch with the group reservation manager if you will be having out of town guests staying at the resort. Many of my guests had a hard time with reservations & with getting an appropriate check- in time. My room was not even ready the day before the wedding prior to our rehearsal, which was a hassle.

The wedding planner that was assigned to me left the resort after helping me plan the wedding for a year! I never received notice of this...it wasn't until I called to review some last minute things with her that I found out she was no longer working for the resort. Luckily, Julie (the new coordinator) came to the rescue and things worked out fine.

I would highly recommend this venue :) Good Luck!

Tradewinds is a magnificent resort on St. Pete Beach. Made for an absolute stunning ceremony and reception! Renee did a great job with making the day of good quite smoothly! The only thing I could have asked for more was a little more assistance with the rehearsal the night before. Otherwise, no complaints! Great place, great views, and the catering for the event was delicious!

We had our ceremony and reception completely outside at the Tradewinds Island Grand. We worked with Renee Prine. She was nice, professional, and honest. We chose the venue because it offered the outside venue, food, lodging, and cost we were looking for. They have a great resort. It's directly on the beach, lots of restaurants on-site, activities for the kids, and friendly staff. Our day was great! Everyone was helpful. Our guests commented on how lovely everything was. The food was excellent. Most people said it was the best wedding meal they had ever eaten. We didn't know it until after-the-fact but they made a special accommodation. One of our guests had a food allergy that did not allow him to eat ANYTHING on the buffet. The chef made him a special plate. No questions aksed, no bothering the bride and groom. Great!! The only small problem was how busy Renee was leading up to the event. Really, it wasn't an issue. She has so much to do that emails took a litlle longer for a response. But it never caused a problem. I made sure to always ask questions early. I am a planner so, emailing was best. It was a way to have it in writing to remember. Her answers were always thorough and helpful. I definately say, go with Tradewinds!

The Tradewinds Resort was amazing to work with and between them, Exquisite Events, and the recommended vendors, (Iza's Florists, Cakes by Nadia, the DJ & The Gallery Photograghy), there wasn't much that my husband & I had to do besides pick up a few party favors. They all made it so easy.

The food was delicious, everyone at the reception told us how much they enjoyed their meal. We danced so much and the photogragher got so many great shots of everyone. The Staff and Vendors all worked so well together, like they knew each other already, it was great, it was like they were invisible. The staff of the Tradewinds were very accomodating with our guests also, which was nice to hear.

We couldn't have found a better place to have our wedding. They say something is going to go wrong, expect it, well, nothing went wrong, unless you want to say that it rained on us during our nuptuials, but I think that is actually a sign of good luck!

I got married at Tradewinds Island Resort on March 10, 2012. My husband and I also got engaged there and have stayed many times, always very enjoyably.

Our wedding was another fabulous experience. When their catering manager left 6 weeks before my wedding, I was extremely worried, however Julie came in and did an even better job, and cut me some extra deals along the way to get some of the prices down. It was such a relief, and ended up being a blessing in disguise. She was attentive and responsive all the way through, making sure all the small requests that we made to set up were taking care of. My only take away is I was under the impression they had moved the wedding after me at the same ceremony site, but they didn't. So when they ceremony started 20 minutes late, we had NO time for pictures after. A bummer, but since there are so many beautiful places to take pictures on site, it was not the end of the world.

The food and catering staff were wonderful and professional throughout the entire process and reception. The food is a little bit better than your average wedding buffet (they do not serve plated meals outside, and my reception was in the courtyard).

Bottem line: If you are willing to pay the premium for a beach wedding, than Tradewinds is a wonderful options. Their prices are competitive with the rest of the usual suspects on the Gulf coast of the Tampa area, and lower than some. Because TW is not a chain and is employee owned, they treat you like the VIPs you deserve to be, unlike the other 4 star St Pete Beach resort

This venue was perfect and made our wedding truly meaningful. The food was fantastic but make sure you taste all food on your menu during the tasting. We had Grouper as a selection and changed it to Mahi due to the freshness. The chef was fantastic and very flexible. Our suite was very comfortable and the location worked perfectly with the Gazebo wedding

Overall, my husband and I loved the Tradewinds and wouldn't choose another venue even if we could go back. :) We had our dream wedding there and loved it. And Julie was great to work with from start to finish. She helped a lot with getting everything the way we wanted. And not living in the area, they were great with recommending local vendors to use. The only reason I wouldn't rate all 5 stars is they do tend to nickle and dime you and aren't as flexible with rates and charges. But that might be a lot of vendors once you mention the word "wedding" so who knows. ;) For example, we tried to negotiate a room block for our guests because the price/discount we were given was outrageous but they wouldn't budge saying they would fill up the rooms anyways. Ultimately, we booked a room block elsewhere for our guests to stay at. That would be my one complaint since we were spending so much money there, I'd think they would want to give us a better deal to retain the business. But, all of our guests raved over how good the food was and how nice the resort was. We also had fun with all of the resort activities! We loved having our wedding there and our guests and family all loved it too. We will return for anniversaries too! :-)

I just wanted to sincerely thank you for everything. Our wedding night was amazing and everyone loved the venue. I know it has been a long 2 years and like a couple hundred emails later. Thank you so much for putting up with all the changes we made along the way. I know there were a lot of cooks in the kitchen per say, and I appreciate you handling everything the way you did. You went out of your way to make our day so special for us. I am so thankful for all that you have done to make our wedding the best day of our lives. Thank you so much.

Fantastic intimate spot. We had our wedding on the beach and walked to the reception. It was perfect. We were at the Sandpiper. The rooms are clean but not updated. The employees were excellent. The food was delicious. The bartenders at the pool bar were the best. Besides the rooms, everything was amazing.
