We had our wedding here last weekend and it is the just perfect. its absolutley beautiful and it really just has that magical feel to it. Dana the wedding coordinator makes everything so easy when planning for the day. She helps in any way she can and goes above and beyond. The day of your wedding you have a private server who is there whenever and for whatever you need. I can't say enough good about the society room, everyone raved about the food and service, everything. Many people came up to me and said it was the best wedding they've been to. :-)

We had our reception at the Society Room on May 11 th and it was absolutely perfect! The team was easy to work with and everything was done so professionally. The really made the experience very easy and very pleasant.
The food was outstanding and the venue is just gorgeous! I can't say enough about how wonderful this venue is.

Everything looked exactly how I envisioned it. I was very happy and I would Highly recommend them.

My husband and I cannot speak highly enough about The Society Room. We had a simply amazing wedding due to the look and feel of the room but also the staff. Want attentive? My husband is still floored with the bridal attendant and how she just always knew exactly what we needed before we needed it!!

The Society Room's staff is made up of the most professional, organized, and meticulous professionals. On the night of our wedding the venue provided an attendant who was on top of details and random situations no one would even think of...she made sure we got to eat and got to relax and have a great time. Basically, all we had to do was show up and really enjoy the day:)

I cannot say enough about the Society Room! From the moment we walked in to look at the place, we knew we wouldn't look anywhere else. Working with Dana was such a treat - she took care of every detail and really went above-and-beyond in accommodating each and every one of our needs. She treated me, my mom, and my (now) husband as if we were the only couple with whom she was working. She helped us create the most spectacular and special evening of our lives. Our ceremony, which was also held at the Society Room, was perfect. As my mom said, "The Society Room puts the military to shame with their precision!" The ceremony started on time and went perfectly (thanks, Desmond :). The food was perfect - apps, raw bar, meals (the most delicious filet ever - they even asked every guest how they wanted their filet cook - now that is service!), cake, our cider and donut station as a departing favor, etc. The drinks were delicious - they made a mean bloody mary, which was our signature drink. Everyone told us it was the most wonderful and fun wedding ever. The venue is absolutely beautiful and I cannot thank everyone there enough for making our wedding amazing! Also, thanks to Michelle for being the best "bridal attendant!"

I cannot possibly say enough good things about The Society Room. Everyone there was incredibly helpful, from the first appointment to look at the venue, to the day of the wedding. The staff saw to every need of ours, and some which we had not even thought of! The room is beautiful and speaks for itself. I could not possibly imagine having a better wedding reception than the one I had at The Society Room. It was beautiful and elegant and I knew I didn't have to worry about any of the details of the reception because they were being handled by the expert staff. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to future brides and grooms!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Society Room in Hartford on Friday October 12, 2012 and could NOT have been more pleased with all the services provided- and not to mention the venue is absolutely GORGEOUS! It's been 5 months since our wedding and our guests are still raving about how beautiful it was. The food was the best I've ever had at a wedding and the service was impeccable- everyone was eating at the same time and literally no one ever went without a drink in hand. Sean Zier and Dana Montarani were unbelievably helpful during every step of the planning process. We just cannot say enough great things about the staff and the venue, everything was phenomenal!! Prior to booking with The Society Room, we had heard wonderful things about the staff and the event services and everything we experienced exceeded those reviews. From the initial booking to the night of our wedding, the staff was attentive, responsive and, most importantly, friendly. We originally booked The Society Room because of the beauty of the space and were pleasantly surprised by the amazing services provided. Everything about our wedding was perfect thanks to The Society Room!

My daughter's wedding reception took place here on June 1, 2012. Our experience was beyond anything I could have imagined. The staff ....fantastic! No need to worry about anything left in the wedding party room: the security was tight, even for an obvious MOB. I like that. The food served was actually better than when I tried it at the tasting in January and was not the typical banquet fare we've all come to expect. Courteous, efficient servers. The staff when out of their way for a last minute slide show set up, and they genuinely seemed to enjoy the evening with us. 200 guests and we weren't crowded for a second. Beautiful atmosphere. And the best thing is it's within walking distance of the hotels where our guests stayed and the church where the ceremony took place. It was all so surprisingly perfect. Thank you Society Room!

We had an amazing wedding because of The Society Room. All of the staff was so helpful putting our wedding together and really thought of absolutely everything for us. Generally the bride feels very stressed during the wedding because you want everything to come together perfectly, I really didn't worry about a thing though. The Society Room took care of everything, including us. Having our own personal attendant made the day so easy and enjoyable - I was beyond happy with the services by the Society Room.

The entire staff was more than helpful. They were able to anticipate things I never would have thought of and were attentive.
We had a unique situation with hurricane sandy and they were able to compensate more than we expected.
Along with the professionalism that was expected from such a well established company they were also able to read my husband and my personalities and reciprocate accordingly.
We are not your average bride and groom :)
