The Riverview was an incredible venue for our special day. From beginning to end, we were so impressed and pleased with the experience. Alyson was incredible!

I cannot say enough about how amazing the Riverview was. Our coordinator Stephanie was amazing along with my bridal attendants Chelsea and Tara. The food, the service, the venue itself were PERFECT. Everyone is still raving about our wedding even though it was cold and rainy- it didn't matter because they were great. I just want one of our friends to get married there so I can enjoy it as a guest! No questions asked- I would pick The Riverview again and again. Worth every penny.

My husband and I couldn't ve happier with how our wedding at the Riverview in Simsbury went! We had a blast and never had to worry about anything thanks to the awesome staff and our amazing coordinator Stephanie:) This venue is not only beautiful but the people are great to work with, the price is very reasonable for everything that is included! The staff was so attentive and professional, while still allowing the guests to have fun. I never once heard of an issues if there was one they kept it descrete. I felt like everything was handled for me, even packing up all the belongings into my limo at the end of the night was done in the blink of an eye. They handled everything and I loved it!

We had a wonderful experience with The Riverview from the moment we made our initial appointment. Tina is not only very professional, but she is extremely friendly and warm. She took the time to meet with us, tour the beautiful facility, go over the pricing and details, and answered all of our questions. She seemed as excited as we were!
After booking The Riverview as our venue, Tina remained a point of contact but Aly took over with all of the planning and coordination. She answered all of our questions in a timely manner and entertained all of our ideas. As impressive as Aly was with everything leading up to the wedding, she truly shined on the actual wedding day. She coordinated the whole night to ensure everything went smoothly. The whole team is very professional, accommodating, and friendly. We were so impressed by all of the staff, including Tina, Aly, Adam, Katy, and all of the attendants, servers, and bartenders.

I can not thank The Riverview enough for their hard work on providing myself and my guests such a wonderful time at my wedding. My husband and I were absolutely impressed with everything from our first meeting to view the venue to our last dance on our special night; absolutely amazing! The evening of our wedding, Alyson and the staff carried out the entire eevent with ease and made each and every one of my guests and bridal party feel comfortable and allowed them to enjoy their time!! I cannot express how happy I was with the services offered by the Riverview. The staff was so professional and attentive, the food was fabulous (what little I could eat since the bride never actually gets to eat dinner), drinks were great. The setting is beautiful and high class and there is a certain "wow" factor that guests get upon entering the dining area that you just can't get everywhere else. It was everything I could have hoped for. Price-wise they are on par with other area venues, but we got married at the tail end of the off season so I feel we got a fantastic bang for our buck given all the services that are included.

Amazing is not even enough to describe how great the Riverview is! From day one they have been more than accommodating with helping make my wedding what it was. My guests had all positive things to say about the staff and how beautiful the venue is. The food is also amazing! During the reception there was constant wait staff fulfilling all of the requests from the guests and wedding party. Stephanie was my wedding planner and I have only positive things to say about her. She was very organized and made sure that everything went smoothly, she also made sure that all of my requests were met. Overall, I would highly recommend this venue!

The Riverview and ALL of their staff are AMAZING!!!! Working with Alyson was a complete delight! I have not one bad thing to say about anyone there! Our wedding was everything that we dreamed of and more because of everyone there! Alyson answered all of our questions promptly and was always there if i wanted to come look at something or make a payment. Alyson even allowed me to change my cake design just one week before the wedding! I was so thrilled!!! Alyson followed all of my instructions on how i wanted decorations to be to a tee! On the day of the wedding my husband and I did not have to worry about ANYTHING!!! They took care of it all.... handing out tips, setting everything up, making sure everyone is in the right place, bringing us whatever we needed or wanted, EVERYTHING! And at no extra cost! I cannot say enough GREAT things about them. The venue is absolutely stunning! There was not even a possibility of getting a single bad picture because the windows, the chandeliers, the tables, chairs, EVERYTHING is stunning! It is not a cheap place but we saved so much by choosing such a gorgeous venue because we did not have to spend anything to decorate it really because it was already so breath taking. We absolutely loved every minute and we would HIGHLY recommend this venue!!!

From the time we stepped in there in July 2011 we have been nothing but pleased. Our coordinator was Alyson and she was AMAZING. The entire staff was on the night of. Food was AMAZING, guests are still commenting on it. We were able to specialize the menu to what we wanted and the venue itself is just beautiful and does not disappoint. I would use them again if we ever needed a function space

My husband and I had our reception at the Riverview two weeks ago. We fell in love with this place the moment we stepped in their lobby. The venue is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous lighting, quaint yet open space, and the exquisite chandlers. Our wedding coordinator, Alyson Moreno was extremely helpful, she handled every little detail and she was always there to make sure we had everything. Alyson did a wonderful job and was always quick answering any of my questions. Everything else was phenomenal, the food and drink was amazing. All appetizers, meals, desserts and cake were so delicious. Cake is provided by the Rivverview, so you don’t have to worry about looking for one. We also did Viennese Table, Create your own Burger and New England Seafood stations which we got rave review from. The staff was very attentive, responsive and helpful throughout the night. I highly recommend the Riverview. We received so many compliment on the whole event. Thank you all for making our wedding so beautiful !!!
