BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER! My husband, family, friends, and I all absolutely love Old Daley on Crooked Lake. We had our wedding here on Sunday, August 10 2025, and the team at Old Daley made the entire day, and wedding planning process, a breeze. Personally, as the bride, I was able to feel fully present and enjoy the entire day because of the team at Old Daley on Crooked Lake.
Our wedding planner, Kate, was incredible! From the start of the planning process to our wedding day, Kate was helpful, communicative, and an absolute expert. She helped with every step of the process, and used her expertise to advise how to make our special day exactly what we were looking for. We couldn't have done it without her! On the day of, Nancy, was the best captain, and was there for us and provided impeccable service from sunrise (6:30 a.m.) to sunset (12:00 a.m.) and the day after for pickup!
We received so many compliments from our family, friends, and guests on their experience at our wedding. The team at Old Daley assured everything was organized, clean, and seamless. The food during the tasting and on our wedding day was all amazing, and we can't wait to go back for winter dining!
We are SO happy we chose Old Daley on Crooked Lake for our wedding! If you want a venue you can absolutely trust with everything, we recommend you choose Old Daley on Crooked Lake for your day. -

Old Daley on Crooked Lake exceeded every expectation we had, and we had high ones. From the moment you arrive, the venue speaks for itself, the waterfront ceremony set against a stunning sunset was an absolutely perfect backdrop for our vows, and the rustic, homey interior gave us a warm and intimate feel even with 220+ guests. The space is gorgeous and needed minimal decoration because it already has so much natural charm.
The food and bar service were excellent, and the staff were warm, attentive, and professional throughout the entire night. But what truly made the difference was our day-of coordinator, Nick. He communicated with us clearly and consistently in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and on the day itself he was everywhere he needed to be, always one step ahead, coordinating seamlessly with all of our vendors, and making sure everything ran on a tight, stress-free timeline. He checked in on us regularly without ever being intrusive, and he truly felt like an advocate for us every step of the way.
Because of Nick and the entire Old Daley team, we were able to be fully present and just enjoy every moment of our wedding day. We couldn't imagine a more perfect venue! -

Old Daley Hospitality was the perfect venue for our wedding. You’re not just booking a venue, but a whole team. The hospitality group provided so much support, not only the day of the wedding, but leading up to, as well.
The venue’s coordinator, Nick, was there for us every step of the way. He was so easy and flexible to work with. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the wedding day. We were there from 8 am to 11 pm; the venue can really handle it all!
The food was spectacular! All our guests were raving about it and the amount of it. They gave an excellent hospitality group. If you book this venue, you are in good hands. -

Old Daley is such a picture perfect place to have a wedding!! We got ready and had our reception here with an off site church ceremony. They've really got everything down to a science to make things run smoothly and also have a unique and personalized experience. Our day of coordinator Nick was above and beyond helpful and knowledgeable!! It is a beautiful spacious location that met all of our needs and wants. The catering is top notch!!! So many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had. From cocktail hour to the reception the food was outstanding!!! Cannot recommend enough having your wedding here!! -

Old Daley on Crooked Lake was the best wedding venue I could ever imagine. Every detail and every inch of the space is absolutely gorgeous. The entire staff—and our especially wedding planner, Kate—were absolutely amazing. They made all of my dreams come true, and I truly could not imagine getting married anywhere else. The views were stunning both inside and out. The staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive to every need. There’s a reason they’ve been hosting weddings for so long—they truly know how to put on an unforgettable celebration. They thought of every detail and helped make the night magical. It was an experience my husband, our family, our friends, and I will never stop talking about. -

We had our wedding on 7/19/25 at the Old Daley on Crooked Lake. To say the experience was 10/10 is an understatement. Having it at the Old Daley was the best decision we made! Our initial meeting with Jan made us feel confident that the venue staff and coordinators would have everything under control on our wedding day. And obviously, the entire space is STUNNING!
Nick was assigned as our day of coordinator and we couldn't have even happier with his knowledge, attention to detail, professionalism and excellent customer service. I had a vision for our day and Nick helped me bring that vision to life. He answered any and ALL (there were a lot) of the questions we had and made sure that we were well-informed on decisions we made. I was a type a bride and all of my needs / wants were not only met but exceeded throughout the entire process. Nick has an impressive amount of experience and knowledge and has the perfect personality for his job. Planning a wedding comes with a lot of stress for the couple and having his support and guidance was so appreciated!
There are a few things that set this venue a part from the rest. 1: The aesthetic: it's historical charm makes it unique and can be seen throughout the space. You really can create whatever vibe you'd like. We opted for a black tie occasion decorated in black and white with lots of white roses and hydrangeas. We also chose it because the indoor ceremony space is just as beautiful as the outdoor. We knew that having our wedding in upstate, NY, we needed a plan b for the ceremony because of weather. At most venues, the indoor is not as nice as the outdoor but that is not the case here. There are also so many amazing spaces to get photos: outside by the lake, in front of the building, next to the flowers/greenery, the Oak Room, and so many more! 2: The food: once we had our tasting, we knew the food was second to none. There were so many options to choose from. On our day, we had an abundance of hors d'oeuvres, a grazing table and a southern station for cocktail hour. Both us and our guests were beyond impressed with the selection and taste. The plated dinner was superb (we had guests tell us it was the best wedding food they've ever had!) and our cake/desserts were outstanding. One thing is for sure, if you have your wedding here, no one will leave hungry! 3: The customer service: it is unlike anywhere else we toured. You get a family owned feeling as soon as you walk through the door. Jan sat down with us and answered all questions we had before booking. She made us feel like she really cared and understood the investment of a wedding. She also knew that we had never planned a wedding before so she took the time to walk through each detail. The day of coordinator is part of the package which is something you do not get most places. As I mentioned, Nick was amazing and went above and beyond. We also want to shout out Hannah who was our attendant for the wedding day (also an amazing touch you don't get most places) she went above and beyond to make sure that both us and our wedding party had everything we needed / wanted throughout the day.
We would absolutely recommend the Old Daley on Crooked Lake to anyone!

A Dream Wedding at Old Daley on Crooked Lake – May 10, 2025!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at Old Daley on Crooked Lake, and we can’t say enough wonderful things about this venue and the amazing team behind it.
First of all, the location is absolutely breathtaking. The ceremony was held by the lake, with the serene water and lush green surroundings creating the perfect natural backdrop. The setup, complete with a stunning blue floral arch and a beautiful floral-lined aisle, felt like something out of a fairytale (see the photo for reference!).
Our guests traveled from places like Buffalo, Indiana, and Los Angeles, and every single one of them was blown away by the beauty of the venue and the peaceful, romantic atmosphere.
We want to give a very special shoutout to Nick, our wedding coordinator, who was simply fantastic. He was so helpful, calm, and detail-oriented from start to finish. Everything ran smoothly because of his efforts, and we felt completely supported the whole time.
We’re also incredibly thankful to Janice, the manager, and the rest of the Old Daley team. Everyone was kind, professional, and so easy to work with. They truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect.
And we have to talk about the food—super duper delicious! The beef steak especially was unforgettable—many of our guests said it was the best steak they’ve ever had. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and served with care.
Thank you, Old Daley on Crooked Lake, for giving us the most beautiful and unforgettable day of our lives. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a gorgeous setting, exceptional service, and truly delicious food.

Our wedding venue exceeded every expectation and made our special day absolutely perfect! The staff was incredibly professional and accommodating, making sure every detail was taken care of. Janice was incredibly helpful in helping us with the initial details, and Nick was an essential part to our day and did an incredible job making our day perfect! Because of Nick and the team at Old Daley, the day was effortless. They worked with our wedding planner and vendors seamlessly, ensuring the day went off without a hitch.
On our wedding day, the venue was transformed into something out of a dream, with stunning views, gorgeous lighting, and every little touch thoughtfully executed. We had the most amazing wedding day thanks to the staff at Old Daley, especially our wedding planner, Nick. Communication was excellent before, during, and after our wedding. Any questions or concerns that we had, Nick answered them quickly and helped put our minds at ease. He and the rest of the staff were on top of everything the day of our wedding. Beautiful, Reliable, Professional, Structured and Perfect Venue & Staff
We were blessed to have the opportunity to have our wedding here with the superb support from our on-site wedding coordinator and planner, Nick V. and the many supporting staff. Our wedding guests are still contacting us commending how amazing the event was. This includes the atmosphere, gorgeous scenery of the lake and beautiful windows in the ballroom, perfection of the oak lounge and the quality of service from everyone. The ceremony was organized, beautiful and breathtaking. The reception's dinner, dessert, hors devours and drinks were beyond phenomenal. Leading up to our event was so easy. Nick and his team stayed in contact and perfected communication to the point where our wedding planning was easy and well structured. The staff was accommodating, professional, kind and easily approachable. They even were communicating effectively with our outside vendors (DJ, Photography, Florist, etc). There recommended list of vendors were excellent and definitely worth it. Our wedding was technically a very minimal amount of guests local to the area. And yet somehow, our accommodations for our guests recommended by the team made this so easy and beyond worth it. Our guests have said the following in addition to our review, "that was the best food I have ever had at a wedding;" "the staff were so nice and our kids didnt even want to leave;" "for the first time ever, my daughter hit the dance floor;" "I couldn't stop looking at the venue when we got here. This place is like a dream;" "the outdoor ceremony on the lake was so beautiful. This was by far the classiest wedding I have ever attended...even the bathrooms were nice." You get the idea. In closing, if you have any event and you want it to be stress free and yet somehow organized, beautiful and memorable, we highly recommend this venue. The Old Daley on Crooked Lake will always be a beautiful and worthwhile memory for myself and my wife. Thank you Nick and everyone who played a roll in making our event happen from our initial tour to walking down the aisle to the end of the evening that we didn't want to end.

When we first toured this venue I instantly knew it was the one for us. Words cannot do it justice, it is truly a beautiful and magical venue! Working with the staff over the year and a half of planning our wedding was also a dream come true. Nick was sweet, kind and professional. He was always just a text or a quick phone call away throughout the entire process. The entire team and staff on the day of our wedding was outstanding! Everyone from our wedding boasted about how great the venue, the staff and the food were! Nick, Nancy, and Casey made our wedding day very special and helped it be everything we wanted and more. We hope to celebrate a big anniversary with them at the venue in the distant future.

The best wedding venue!
Old Daley on Crooked Lake is the most magical and enchanting place you can have a wedding at! The venue is stunning and holds so much history! It’s unique to find a wedding venue that only holds one wedding per day. There’s nothing like having a whole venue filled with only your most favorite people on your most important day! Our wedding coordinator, Nick, went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect! He was always there to answer any questions and run ideas by! My husband and I will for sure be back to Crooked Lake for the summer/winter dinning, since the food was unbelievable! Thank you for the memories! -

01/13/24 best day! Best venue!
I don’t believe there are enough words to adequately describe how perfect our wedding was at the Old Daley on Saturday 01/13/24. From start to finish, they helped make the entire wedding planning process so much easier and alleviated so much of the stress that comes with planning a wedding. From setting up to taking down decorations, they were there every step of the way. Our entire day was absolutely perfect, the staff did not miss a beat, the food was perfection, and I just couldn’t have asked for a better venue to work with for our day. Special shout out to my day of coordinator, Kate Mace, for being absolutely phenomenal and so much more than a “day of” coordinator, Kate was always there to answer any question I had or provide insight on any scenario or idea brought to her from the very beginning of planning to the day of. Hannah, one of the attendants was so attentive and made sure that myself and my husband always had everything that we needed. Also special shout out to Nancy for being so helpful, so attentive and for being an incredible resource, springing into action when needed. 10/10! Five stars! We can not recommend this venue enough!! -

Best Damn Day EVER
After visiting other venues in the Capital Region and never getting the "wow" factor, that all changed once we met Janice and Molly! We already knew how beautiful their venue is, what we didn't know is how much time and effort they all put in to making your day, the Best damn day ever! My husband and I got married at Old Daley on Crooked Lake in May 2022. Our wedding day was beyond perfect and everything we hoped it would be. The venue was stunning and maintained, the food was incredible (people are still talking about it), and the staff were kind and efficient. Old Daley was everything we could have dreamed of and more!
Our Event Planner, Molly, was the perfect addition to our wedding planning process. From the first email to the final goodbyes, Molly was kind and responsive. She made the wedding planning process exciting and smooth, and without her, our day wouldn’t have been exactly what we hoped it would be.

Old Daley on Crooked Lake was the PERFECT venue for our wedding! We just had our wedding on July 2nd and we are still in awe over the day. From the planning stages to the actual day, everything was seamless! We first worked with Jan to secure a date and some of the larger details! She was lovely and completely willing to answer any questions we had early on! As we moved closer to the day we got to work with planner Kate who was amazing! We had a scheduling conflict with our church which changed our photo time quite a bit at Crooked Lake and Kate was instrumental in calming our stresses by making sure we had access to the venue as early as we needed! She responded to all of my MANY questions promptly and professionally! Her main priority was that Andrew and I had a wonderful day! On the actual day, we were delighted to work with our bridal attendant Iris. She was fabulous! She was constantly making sure Andrew and I had everything we needed at all times! She replaced our drinks as they emptied, stood to offer us ice water through our hot outdoor photos, and checked on us periodically throughout the night! She was a delight. All of the staff was professional, polite, and smooth with everything! My guests cannot say enough about how much they enjoyed the food! It was delicious! I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Crooked Lake and everyone we worked with! Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for an amazing wedding day! -

Perfect, the best wedding we could have imagine and according to most of our guests the best wedding they had ever been too
When my husband and I got engaged we immediately began looking at venues. Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake was the first place we went. We absolutely loved it. It was beautiful, classy, classic and rustic at the same time. We couldn’t have found our venue on the first try right? So, we visited 10 other venues! Every time we went to a new place, we kept just saying “but it’s not like Crooked Lake”. Finally after a marathon day of looking at 4 venues in a row, we pulled the trigger so to speak and booked Crooked Lake. We could not have made a better choice or decision. There is literally nothing bad or even sub par I can say about the venue and staff. We planned most of our wedding during the worst parts of the pandemic and we stressed over constant changing regulations. Crooked Lake was on top of everything. Our wedding coordinator Kate Mace was a true MVP! She knew whenever any change happened and she made every idea and dream become a reality! We were able to find the right package for our needs and then add À la carte for any specifics we wanted to make things right for us. The day before the wedding we did a rehearsal and Kate was there to help me run through everything! I can’t tell you how helpful that was. I have been in several weddings where the rehearsal fell completely to the bride and it was a mess and was confusing. Kate helped me so much and I felt so little stress in terms of making everything happen. Finally the big day came and on October 9 we got married!! Kate Mace along with my mom actually helped me into my wedding dress. I wanted to do a first look with my bridal party to take back a moment that was stolen by the pandemic and they made it happen! The staff was perfect and took care of everyone’s needs. The day was seamless. Our ceremony was on the grounds outside and couldn’t have gone more perfect! When people arrived they were treated with hot apple cider spiked and regular and a cider donut. After the ceremony we were greeted with champagne and the guests headed to the oak room for the cocktail hour. Everyone told us that our wedding had the best passed hors d’oeuvres they had ever had at a wedding!! For the reception we had an amazing time!! We had a large wedding party and really wanted to sit with everyone and not alone. Kate came up with a curved Tuscan table so we could sit with everyone, see everyone and still have the band on the stage like I wanted. The food was amazing and all of our guest loved it. Every tradition and event we wanted to happen went off without a hitch and everything we didn’t want, didn’t happen. At the end of the night we wanted to surprise our guest and again Kate helped us do this. She got everyone outside by the ceremony spot and helped them light sparklers. Our guests thought his was our big send off, but, they couldn’t have guessed that as soon as we ran though the line of sparklers, foreword started!! Our guests were so surprised and loved every moment!! What can I say, we ended with a bang!!! After the wedding I am not exaggerating when I say the the most common comments we received from our guest were “that was the best wedding I have ever been to!” And “it was perfect” Thank you so much for everything!!! ❤️ -

We highly recommend Old Daley on Crooked Lake! Not only is the venue absolutely stunning indoors and outdoors, but the staff is truly exceptional. Every staff member we worked with was patient, flexible, kind and eager to help us make our day exactly what we dreamed of. The bridal party suites were gorgeous and had plenty of space for everyone and all our belongings. Our wedding planner Kate was phenomenal, as were the two wedding assistants provided to us the day of! -

I can't speak highly enough about this venue. We had to postpone our wedding due to covid like many others, but unlike many of our friends who had horror stories about their venues not being helpful, Kate and Jan couldn't have been more amazing. On top of the fact that the space and grounds are gorgeous, and the food is unbelievable, Kate as our planner and all of the staff were unbelievable. The only complaint I have is that it was too hard to slow down and take it all in because they made it so easy and perfect. If you have the chance to get married here, I promise it will be everything you want and more, and it will be as stress free as wedding planning can possibly be. -

Words Can’t Do It Justice
When looking for venues for our wedding we knew we wanted to look at Old Daley on Crooked Lake, but as soon as we stepped inside, we knew this was the place we wanted to be married at. It fit both of our styles perfectly, elegant with a touch of rustic feel! We had booked for May 2020 and worked with Kate Mace. Two month out from our wedding date COVID hit. We postponed to August 2020 and again for our final date May 2021. Kate was amazing to work with. COVID times were unchartered territory for everyone but she handled everything amazingly. She was positive always in conversation and knew that we would have our dream day. And we did! There was nothing about our wedding day we would have changed! The staff was absolutely amazing, food was to die for (everyone raved about the food) and the atmosphere was everything we dreamed of. We can’t thank Kate and her staff enough for making our dream come true! -

Old Daley on Crooked Lake was amazing to us. We are actually a returning family times two that’s how much we love it there. My husbands brother was married there and so was my sister! Crooked Lake was so easy to work with during this pandemic, they updated us weekly and were very organized. We worked closely with Kate, who was so kind and understanding to the stresses of having an entire wedding planned and having to change it a thousand times due to the pandemic and the ever changing protocols. We recommend Crooked Lake to everyone we know, even to go get a bite to eat in their off season at their restaurant!!! Always a 10/10 for us in all our experiences of attending weddings, having our own wedding and having dinner there.

When we chose the Old Daley in May of 2019, we had no idea what 2020 had in store. Our initial vision was for a larger wedding of roughly 150 people. As the state of the world changed rapidly, so did our plans. Kate and the rest of the staff at the Old Daley were professional, flexible, and easy to work with, despite a global pandemic. Our ceremony and reception were absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. All of guests enjoyed themselves immensely. Despite all of the limitations we experienced due to COVID, the Old Daley staff members worked so hard to ensure that our experience was excellent. We would recommend the Old Daley to any couple. We also want to especially commend Kate Mace, our assigned event coordinator, she was absolutely fantastic and we loved working with her!!! 10/10 would recommend. -Bonnie and Greg -

Old Daley on Crooked Lake is the best and only place you should consider for your wedding venue. My husband and I attended a formal at Old Daley when we were in college and we said then, “can you imagine getting married here?” so when we started planning our special day, we knew this was exactly where we wanted to get married. Our wedding was absolutely what dreams are made of! First off, it is GORGEOUS. I received so many compliments on how beautiful every aspect of this venue is and our pictures were beautiful. The whole venue gives off a super elegant feel with rustic touches. Kate was nothing short of AMAZING! She did everything she could to make sure we to had the wedding of our dreams even though it was a COVID wedding and so much had to change from what we originally planned. We went from a 200-person wedding to a 50-person wedding with social distancing and no dance floor and everyone at Old Daley went out of their way to make sure it was still the best day ever! I was able to enjoy every second of the day; I didn’t have to worry about a single detail because Kate and everyone else took care of everything and it was perfect!! Another great thing I will mention is the food. I had so many guests saying it was hands down the best wedding meal they’d ever had! Old Daley knows what they are doing! They are professionals. I could say so many more things, but the bottom line, choose Old Daley, you will be SO happy you did. -

We chose Old Daley on Crooked Lake for our wedding because my husband's family has a camp on that lake that he has been going to all his life. From the minute we walked in for the first time everything was beautiful, elegant (and somehow cozy at the same time!) and simple. Janice and our wedding planner Sarah were SO lovely and helped us to plan a gorgeous ceremony lakeside and special 1920's gatsby-style brunch reception that incorporated our specific backgrounds (Jewish, Irish, upstate New York and Southern!) - it was so creative and I have to say the chicken and waffles were AH-MAZING. We don't live in the area and they helped us every step of the way with responsive phone calls, e-mails and in person meetings around our schedule. ALSO - We booked this venue right before COVID and in an ever-changing and uncertain world, the owners and staff at Old Daley were clear, accommodating, understanding, and bent over backwards to make sure we still had our dream wedding in a safe environment, even after downsizing from 225 to 48 guests, they made the planning effortless and fun. We even had a send-off in a boat from the dock :) Could not recommend more! -

We got married August 2019! I’m not good with words so I’ll just say everything was so amazing! Kate was so helpful in every possible! I would have been lost without her! The facility is already so beautiful that you don’t have to do a lot to decorate. Several of our guests stated we had “the best food they have ever had at a wedding!” I was the perfect place to have our big day! Thank you to all the staff! -

If you are reading this review, you are likely a newlywed trying to make important decisions about where to have your wedding. I hope this review helps convince you that Old Daley on Crooked Lake is the right choice for you, and why. When looking at wedding venues my fiancée and I almost didn’t go to Old Daley on Crooked Lake as it was a little further outside the Capital District that we had hoped. My now wife (who of course is right all the time) encouraged us to keep the appointment and it was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.
There are three overarching reasons why our wedding was truly perfect and why I recommend this venue to anyone, without reservation.
First, the venue itself is gorgeous. Regardless of the time of year (we had a winter wedding) the setting is elegant without being overly formal. The natural beauty of the building lends an atmosphere of history and elegance that can suit any wedding budget, style or preference. Our wedding was on the smaller side (about 90 people) and we wanted to have it be fairly relaxed. We got married in the great room in front of the fireplace. The candles on/in the fireplace and the lanterns lining the aisle were gorgeous and made for romantic, beautiful lighting. We had cocktail hour and dinner stations in the Oak Room. We opted for no assigned seating, with exception of one table for family and one for me and my wife. Our guests were able to move around and mingle with each other, sit by the fireplace, etc. After dinner we had dancing and dessert in the Great Room – this allowed guests to move back and forth between the two rooms depending on their preference.
Secondly, the food was outstanding. Everything served was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Everyone has been to a wedding where the food feels like mass-produced cafeteria food and this is the exact opposite. Everything was delicious and there was ample food and choices to please all our guests. We had a few guests with dietary restrictions and one severe allergy and the venue staff did an excellent job being responsive to all of the dietary needs.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, Kate Mace (our wedding coordinator) and her team were incredible to work with. Leading up to the wedding our friends kept asking us if we were stressed out and the answer was always a resounding, “no!” Kate is outstanding at her job, she is professional, responsive, resourceful, detail-oriented, a great communicator and just all-around nice person who is both easy and fun to work with. There was one minor issue that came up on the day of the wedding (external to the venue); Kate and her team handled with poise, grace, tact and clearly with the goal to ensure that the brides didn’t have any stress or decisions to have to make the day of our wedding. Planning and having wedding should be joyful and fun – it was because of Kate that we had that exact experience.
I’ll add that my wife and I are a same-gender couple - as a gay couple we were welcomed, valued and celebrated by the team at Old Daley on Crooked Lake. (This was not true at all the venues we visited).
My concern about the location being a little outside of the Capital District was solved by hiring a shuttle to/from a hotel in East Greenbush. Many of our local guests opted to stay at the hotel an take advantage of the shuttle.
Our wedding day was perfect for two reasons: 1) we married the right person and 2) because we opted to do so at Old Daley on Crooked Lake.

Old Daley on Crooked Lake was everything we were looking for! It was the perfect setting for our wedding. We really liked that we were able to do everything in a single location, yet the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception each had a separate, beautiful space. The staff was amazing to work with. Everyone was so gracious and friendly. Kate was our wedding coordinator and she was so easy to contact and work out our plans with. Kate had suggestions when we needed guidance and really helped shape our day into exactly what we wanted. Molly was our attendant for the night and was right there whenever we needed something. We received many compliments from our guests on the quantity and quality of food at the cocktail hour and reception. There are many great locations inside and outside for stunning photos. This was everything we dreamed of and I am so glad we picked Old Daley on Crooked Lake. -

Where do I begin!? I’ve always wanted a winter wedding and saw a picture of the fireplace and that was it! Kate Mace, my wedding coordinator, was an earth angel. I could not thank her enough for everything she did for us. She quickly answered any question my mom and I had, was flexible and catered to our every need. When you are stressed out, you definitely need a calm, efficient and kind person helping and that was Kate! I felt like a princess on the day of my wedding and the venue staff were friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious and I have no complaints! -

Not only was the venue beautiful, the food superb and my bride absolutely stunningly beautiful, but our wedding coordinator Sarah was so helpful. From day one she kept it simple for us and made sure we didn’t get overwhelmed. She had members of her staff stop us and make sure we got to eat, drink, and enjoy the night. I’ve always heard people get lost in their wedding with all the formalities, but they put extra effort in making sure that we enjoyed our night and all they had to offer us plus still spend time with our guests. It was truly was a dream come true and we have Sarah, her team at Old Daley, and the rest of our spectacular vendors to thank for that. -

Wow, where to begin with the Old Daley... The staff was so professional, prompt and easy going. The food was phenomenal. And the price (while it seems high) includes so much. You get your food, your cake, an event planner, a wedding attendant, your location and then some, all included. The grounds made for beautiful photos and ceremony. Raining? Cold? No problem! Their plan B ceremony location in front of the fireplace is like a romantic dream come true. Our event planner Sarah, was so great to work with and made our day go smoothly without having to worry me in any way. We got more compliments on the space and the food than we did anything else on our wedding day! I could rave about this place all day! -

Almost one year ago I married the man of my dreams at the most beautiful venue around, The Old Daley on Crooked Lake. Janice and my wedding coordinator Kate Mace; listened to our needs and wants which made our special day run flawless. From the ceremony by the lake, reception in the ballroom and fireworks at the end of the night, we couldn’t have asked for a better day. We love the Old Daley team and can’t thank them enough! The packages offered had many options and wide price ranges, you could also customize your own package. The groom and bridal suite were large and beautiful. The service was amazing and all the staff were professional, fast, detailed and like family! Kate answered all of our questions, responded quickly to all of our messages, set up décor and center pieces we provided the night before, and worked with all of our other vendors. The food was delicious and we can’t wait to go back for their winter dining! The Old Daley on Crooked Lake will make anyone’s wedding a magical day! -

My husband and I are so thankful we chose Old Daley for our wedding. Kate was our wedding planner and she did an amazing job helping us figure out everything leading up to the big day. She would answer any of my texts asking random questions very quickly and was very helpful. We dropped off a bunch of framed pictures and other decorations the night before and Kate went through all of it and set it up beautifully for us, finding a spot for everything we brought (although the hall is so well decorated itself, so you really don't need to bring much extra if you don't want to). The actual day of was nothing short of perfect. The room upstairs to get ready in was so nice and convenient and had plenty of room for myself, my mom and 6 bridesmaids to get hair and makeup done. We did a food and beverage package while getting ready so we had champagne and lunch brought up to our room at whatever time we wanted. Our plan was to get married outside by the beautiful lake, and it rained early in the afternoon that day and there was a chance of more rain as it got closer to the ceremony. I kept saying I was worried about the weather, and Kate kept reassuring me that everything would work out and that there was nothing to worry about. Old Daley was then able to set up the ceremony inside and outside for us so that we could wait until the last possible minute before the decision was made to move inside. Ultimately the rain cleared before the ceremony, so they dried the chairs off and we were able to have the ceremony we so wanted outside. There are so many great spots outside around the venue to take pictures and the inside is so beautiful too. All the food was amazing and served in a timely manner, and no one ever waited long at the bar to get a drink. All the other formalities of the night were planned and timed out perfectly, leaving us with plenty of time after all that to just dance and have fun with our guests. I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in this area. -

We knew from the start that this was the perfect venue for our wedding!! We looked at about 10 different venues throughout the Capital Region, and immediately after walking out of the Old Daley, my husband and I looked at each other and said, "This is it." The rest of our venue tours were half-hearted at best as we compared everything to the stunning beauty of the Old Daley and the amazing staff who had already worked hard from our first phone call asking about dates to make sure we had a good experience. It only got better from there! Kate Mace, our wedding planner, was a dream come true. There wasn't a question, issue, or concern she couldn't find a creative solution for, and she did it with good humor, professionalism, and care that always made us feel like we were the only couple she was working with. We live in New York City and when one of the only dates we could come for an in-person meeting was her day off, she came in anyway. We were truly able to relax and enjoy the best day ever because the staff was working hard to make everything run smoothly. And, thanks to the Old Daley, the day really was perfect - from the breathtaking ceremony on the lake, to the delicious food that guests are still raving about, to the ideal layout for a cocktail hour and ballroom with plenty of room to mingle and dance - I couldn't recommend this venue more! We had our wedding at Old Daley on Crooked Lake and were blown away by the overall experience. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of atmosphere, scenery, food and overall experience. From the moment we walked in to tour the venue, my husband and I both knew this is where we wanted to celebrate our wedding day. This venue has so much charm and character and the staff make you feel like family from day one.
Kate was nothing but helpful every step of the way. Kate was so easy going and so on top of everything during our entire planning process, I was blown away. Kate coordinated with all of our vendors the day of the wedding, that I truly did not have to worry about a single thing. She has this calming presence about her that made the whole process extremely enjoyable (just the energy that every bride needs around her on their wedding day!). I cannot thank and praise Kate enough.
As a wedding venue we cannot fault anything. The ceremony on the lake was beyond our expectations. The staff made the transition from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception seem so effortless. With almost 200 guests I was nervous it may be a little hectic, but the staff made it absolutely seamless. And the food was out of this world!!! All of our guests are still telling us about how delicious everything was. From the cocktail hour, to the main course, to the endless mouthwatering desserts, everything was beyond perfect.
The venue played a huge part in the success of our wedding weekend and the amount of our guests who are still talking about our venue is testament to that.
My husband and I cannot wait to go back to Crooked Lake for many years to come to relive the most magical day. Thank you to Kate and the whole Old Daley Team for making our dream wedding come true! -

I could not have imagined our wedding anywhere else! When looking for a venue, it was important for us to find a place that was not just beautiful, but also had space for a rain plan, had great food, and were on top of their communication with clients. The Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake provided all of this and so much more! Their staff was so friendly and fun to work with, and although we didn't end up needing the rain plan it provided peace of mind as our wedding date approached. The group tasting was incredibly well organized and we had so much fun trying everything and picking out our menu. I only wish that I had gotten a chance to eat more of the delicious food we had selected on the wedding day! Our wedding planner, Kate, was so nice and easy to work with. No matter the special request, substitution, or change of plans, she did not bat an eyelash and truly helped make our wedding dreams a reality. Having worked in the wedding industry myself, I had heard only spectacular things about the way the Old Daley treats wedding vendors which is something many people underestimate. You really want your photographer, DJ, wedding coordinator and anyone else executing your big day to be well taken care of so that they can perform their jobs to the best of their abilities, and the Old Daley delivers on that! The space itself is absolutely breathtaking and I would recommend the Old Daley to anyone and everyone! -

When me and my husband first saw pictures of Old Daley on Crooked Lake we knew we needed to get married there! We live in Virginia so we were not able to get there to see it right away and we booked it anyway. We were not disappointed. We could not have picked a better venue for our special day. The staff here was amazing and they were always there to help with anything we needed. Sarah Tyrell was our coordinator and she went above and beyond every step of the way to make sure our wedding day went perfectly. From all the planning and questions for the months leading up to the wedding, to setting up all of the decorations for the ceremony and reception, she did a great job. She helped to keep the wedding party organized and made sure everything went just as it was supposed to.
We had originally planned to have the ceremony outside but due to the weather we had to move the ceremony indoors last minute. Sarah and the rest of the staff were great about moving everything indoors and my husband and I could not be happier about how beautiful and perfect the inside ceremony turned out. One of the many great things about this venue is the ability to have either an indoor or outdoor ceremony. Both areas are incredibly beautiful.
All of our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful and perfect our wedding day was and it was in large part to the staff at this venue, as well as the natural beauty of the venue itself. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding/reception venue. Let them help make your day as amazing and absolutely perfect as ours was. -
Carissa Sent on 10/13/2018Never would I have imagined that the first place we looked at for a wedding venue would be the one and only place we would need to look but Old Daley on Crooked Lake is just that breathtaking. Our initial meeting and tour was with Janice, she was friendly, easy going, and has a comforting presence. We walked away from our tour knowing this was the place we were going to get married. We booked two days after our initial meeting and that is when the planning process begun. The team at crooked lake were always friendly and prompt in their responses. We attended a group tasting one year after booking, the food was amazing and choosing a menu was only difficult because everything was just SO good.
The tasting is the first chance my husband and I had to meet our wedding planner Kate Mace. People like Kate are rare and I could not have asked for a better person to help make our wedding day perfect because it was just that, simply perfect. Kate always responded promptly to emails, texts, and phone calls. Kate listened to each idea and was able to make it come to life, she eased every concern, and allowed us to just enjoy our day. If there was anything that went wrong the day of, I didn't know because everything ran smoothly and it was truly a dream from start to finish. Kate and her assistant Gina went above and beyond the day of. Kate got eye lash glue and fixed my brother in laws wheelchair to name a few ways she saved the day. All of my guests continue to compliment how beautiful the venue was, how good the food was (and how big the portions), and how professional the staff was. Kate and the team at crooked lake exceeded expectations the day of and I highly recommend you choose them for your event!! -

From the cocktail hour all the way until we packed our bags, we couldn’t of asked for anything more. The venue is breathtaking and absolutely gorgeous. The views, the Oak Room the food and desserts...absolutely amazing! Our bridal assistants Kathy and Olivia were fantastic and went above and beyond! Overall experience we were extremely happy about our wedding, from planning stages to the end of the night nothing more could of been done. They provide a non-corporate style of service and make the couples feel like part of the “family”. They are extremely organized and detail oriented. They also make great recommendations for other vendors to help make your day wonderful. We found our florist, photographer, and baker through the Old Daley and each of those vendors were extraordinary! All of the food was amazing - from the appetizers, salads, dinners, and assortment of desserts. We worked with Elise and she was an absolute rock star. They truly made our whole day perfect for us, and most importantly, stress free! The day did go by quickly, but my husband and I both felt that we were able to truly be present and enjoy it!
