We had an amazing time at our wedding! We are so glad that we chose the Inn. Melle did a great job helping me prepare. Our matri d Colleen was amazing. Everything went smooth and it was perfect. The ballroom was exactly what we wanted and is not a typical cookie cutter wedding venue :)

We were so happy with the Inn at Lambertville Station! They delivered exactly what we expected and more. Our guests loved the food and the river room. And we did too! One guest even commented that it seemed like the reception was being held on a boat, since the views of the river were so spectacular. Everything was wonderful!

They were a little inflexible when we first started talking about details in the early stages of planning, but I brought this up in a meeting and they immediately made an effort to be more accommodating. In the end, all our needs were met!

One small issue was that we were told that the bar in the restaurant next door would stay open for us after the reception until 1:30, but last call was at 12:30. The only reason this was a problem was because we based our guests' transportation to their hotel on the timing they said. But it ended up not being a big deal at all.

These small snags took nothing away from the overall experience. Their pricing is reasonable; you definitely get your money's worth. The river room is spectacular and the food was really good. Melle was very helpful and accommodating during the planning process. Colleen was great during the reception; she took care of our every need. I would highly recommend the Inn at Lambertville Station!

We went with The Inn at Lambertville Station for our November 9, 2012 wedding because they offered a great package in a wonderful location. Marielle (nicknamed Melle) was a responsive and flexible coordinator. I emailed her several times throughout our engagement and usually received a response within a couple of days (response time was much quicker the closer the wedding got, of course - no complaints here). We changed our minds a couple of times about the dessert option and again, there were no problems. It was fantastic working with Melle. She really put my mind at ease about a lot of things.

Colleen, our matre'd for the night of the reception, was also excellent. She and her team took care of everything, from arranging the tables to setting up the centerpieces to showing us what to do during the cake cutting! There was an incident where a wine glass was broken on the dance floor and her team had to cleaned up in no time. My only small complaint is that my husband and I were not initially served a slice of cake. Anyone who knows me knows I love sweets, so this was a problem. I asked one of the servers to give us some cake, and later on Colleen came up to us and told us they usually serve the bride and groom a slice of cake in their room afterwards and so her staff wasn't sure whether or not to serve us cake. Sure enough, we did have cake and champagne waiting for us in our comped suite later that night, so I got two slices of cake. Also, I felt that the serving staff at the cocktail hour could have done a slightly better job - one of the servers gave away his last two appetizers away right in front of me, without even offering it to me (first world problems, I know)!

In all, I would recommend The Inn at Lambertville Station for a wedding reception. Our guests loved the quaint charm of The Inn and we received many compliments about our reception. We had a fabulous time, thanks in part to the great service provided by Colleen and her staff.

The best thing this venue has to offer is its view / location; it's absolutely gorgeous! Its hotel / wedding staff, however, leave a lot to be desired. Don't get me wrong, I loved my wedding and my guests had an amazing time -- but the hard work it took to throw such a memorable event was 100% our family, friends and us; the Inn played only a small part, and at the end of the day, gave us more headaches than fond memories. The hotel staff is downright rude and unwilling to help in any degree -- they didn't even have me listed as staying in the bridal suite the day of my wedding, and when I simply asked for a piece of paper needed for our ceremony, the receptionist acted as if I asked her to donate a kidney. It was honestly like the hotel staff didn’t even know a wedding was taking place that night; my guests and I were only met with confusion and attitude. Most importantly, if you book with this venue and then find out Colleen will be running your wedding, CANCEL IMMEDIATELY. She yelled at my wedding party, snapped at my mom, failed to put out the favors we spent an entire day baking, didn't even have the ballroom decorated according to the detailed guidelines I literally wrote out for her, basically threw all of my handmade / sentimental decorations into the dirty, basement utility room for "safe keeping" the night before, wouldn’t let our photographer set up as needed, and cursed at and berated her staff in front of my husband and a guest. She's nothing but a nightmare. To be fair, the food is AWESOME, and our tasting was a wonderful experience - the chef is pleasant and incredibly talented. But honestly, get married somewhere else, and just go on a date to the restaurant to save yourself any possible disappointment on your big day. Melle was pleasant to work with and very responsive throughout the planning process, but unless the Inn works out its MAJOR COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS, the problems we experienced will sadly only continue.

Hands down, the best decision we ever made was (in addition to getting married) having our wedding ceremony and reception at the Inn at Lambertville Station. I am a vegetarian and so is many of my family members so I was looking for an alternative to the pasta vegarian dish. Melle, the banquet direct/events coordinator, was beyond accommodating and had no problems with getting us seitan and better yet, it was Ray's (my favorite!). The chef had no problem with preparing it how I had asked. Every question I had (which was many) was answered by Melle within a day and was answered thoroughly. It seemed that there was no question too silly or too small to ask. Everything I had even dreamed of was made possible because Melle and the rest of the staff were so wonderful and pleasing. Even when it came time to the day of our wedding, Melle gave me a pep talk right before going into the ceremony. Colleen made sure everything during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception went smoothly and was on time. She was extremely pleasant. The staff was prompt with the food service, accommodating to the improv speaches we had, and tolerant of our crazy 4 year old stealing the dance floor!! Even though I was too busy to get more than a bite of my food and a glass of wine, nearly every guest had commented on how wonderful the food was, how great the open bar was, how pleasant the staff was, and how beautiful the facility is. Overall, it was an AMAZING day because the Inn's staff was so wonderful. I highly recommend this to any couple who has travelling guests or are travelling themselves. Two thumbs up!

We had our reception at the Inn on a sunny January day - the view of the river was spectacular and we were able to get photos on the bridge! The staff were great with helping us plan our day and answering all our questions. And the day of the reception, the staff worked hard to make sure everything ran smoothly. It couldn't have turned out better!

Our experience at Lambertville Station was incredible. We had first become interested in having our reception here after reading about it online. After our initial appointment to look at it, we booked without looking anywhere else…we didn’t need to see any other place! The coordinator, Marielle, is a true gem and she made every aspect of planning easier. She replies quickly to emails, never made me feel like I was being a nuisance with all my questions, and ran the entire day smoother than I could have imagined. I asked for vendor suggestions and all of her recommendations were fantastic. I had a last minute change in my seating plan and it was handled flawlessly. At the end of the night they were able to break down everything at lightning speed and we had everything packed and ready for us on luggage racks. My guests were blown away by how beautiful everything was; they have recently re-painted, re-done the rooms, changed the deck, re-landscaped, and put in new carpet and got a new dance floor. I have had many guests comment that dinner was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. One of my guests even got business cards from Marielle to hand out to a few friends who are getting married and looking for a venue! I have nothing negative to say about this place!

We just had our wedding here and it was a great experience. I think it is the best value in the area. The food was pretty good, the cake was FABULOUS (and came with the wedding package), and the room is BEAUTIFUL. They really took care of us and everything was beautiful. I took some points off of flexibility because I specified how I wanted things decorated and that night, some things had been changed and some just forgotten (no vase on our table for my bouquet....so we had no centerpiece at our table).

I had the best wedding experience ever. The Inn at the Lambertville Station served as my ceremony and reception in addition to the rehearsal, pictures and sleeping accommodations.

You have an on-site wedding coordinator that is included and she was great. I didn't have to worry about one single thing. Regardless of you have a small wedding or a big budget wedding, you were treated like a queen.

The space is beautiful no matter the time of year. We took pictures in the main street area by the antique stores and couldn't have been more beautiful. I can't wait to go back for my anniversary.

While I had a wedding planner working with me and the Station, the experience was great. No detail was left unturned and, when we didn't have a choice but to have the flowers delivered the day before the ceremony, the folks at the Inn had no problem storing them in their huge walk-in overflow fridge to keep them perky! The food was delicious, so many appetizer options!
Amazing value for the money, MUCH less than anywhere else I looked in the area, and had a wonderfully romantic ambiance with candles rather than overhead light.

The staff was very helpful on the night of the event. They did change coordinators on us half way through the planning process with no explanation though. Everything worked out in the end.

The Inn was a great place for a smaller, more relaxed wedding. The views are gorgeous, and the rooms very nice if a bit overpriced. The wedding coordinators were not always very clear or detailed, and we were mistakenly charged for our honeymoon suite for a night that was supposed to be free. The staff fixed it immediately, though. The catering and event staff were all excellent.

The staff was very helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process. Any question or idea we had was handled with respect. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. Our guests complemented us on a wonderful wedding.
