Choosing my wedding dress at Crystal Bride was one of the absolute highlights of our entire planning process. It wasn't just about finding a dress; it was about the incredible team who guided me with such care, expertise, and passion.
My journey began with Katy, and she is truly a phenomenal stylist. She listened intently to my vague ideas, understood my underlying style, and patiently helped me choose my perfect dress. She made me feel confident and beautiful, and her guidance was invaluable—she knew exactly what worked for me before I even did!
Next came the fittings with Melinda, who is simply a wizard with alterations. My dress fit like a custom dream, and Melinda executed every nip, tuck, and adjustment with precision and kindness. She is a true artist who ensures your dress is flawless and comfortable for the big day.

From start to finish my experience was perfect. They took their time letting me look touch and try as many dresses as I wanted. At my fittings the seamstress took her time listening to me and making sure everything fit to my liking. They even make it easy to clean and preserve your dress after your wedding. I was recommended The Crystal Bride from my best friends sister-in law and the recommendation did not disappoint. Receiving a text prior to my appointment asking for the styles of dress I was looking for was top notch in my opinion! They were ready when we got there and even accommodated us when my grandma couldn't go up the stairs, they brought the dresses down to us on the first floor! They selection of styles is vast and stunning. I absolutely loved my dress shopping experience and found the dress of my dreams! I highly recommend the Crystal Bride to anyone who is in the market for a wedding dress! -

Amazing experience

Thanks Crystal Bride!
Crystal Bride was fantastic all the way around as I got ready for my wedding day on 5-21-22! I purchased my wedding dress, belt, and veil through them. I tried on dresses and found one I feel in love with thanks to Mckenna - she did a great job pulling dresses that fit the idea I had in my head and helping to my narrow my search while still having fun. After I found my dream dress, I did my alterations at Crystal Bride and Ellie could not have done a better job fitting the dress to me. She attached my belt to the dress and made sure things were perfect so I could feel beautiful on the big day without worrying about any wardrobe malfunctions. Everyone was easy to work with, easy to communicate with, and enjoyable to be around. After one of my alterations appointments, my mom and I wandered over to the mother of the bride section.. and even though my mom didn't end up ordering a dress through them due to time constraints, the sales lady could not have been any nicer and helped give her some tips that eventually led to her finding the perfect dress. The entire staff truly does a great job delivering a quality product with excellent customer service. I bought my wedding dress from The Crystal Bride in October 2019. After several trips to other bridal salons, I hadn’t found “the one” quite yet, so a visit here was much needed!
I was able to schedule an appointment through the “Request Appointment” section on their website and confirmed with a staff member via email. I arrived at my first appointment with my mom and my sister/maid-of-honor. The store itself is very pretty, with accessories, bridesmaids dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses downstairs, and their bridal gowns upstairs. It was also clean and organized, which made it easy to view their selection of gowns. My mom and sister were able to sit comfortably in their viewing area, complete with chairs, a podium, and a large mirror.
Since I had already visited other salons and narrowed down my vision for my dress, my consultant was able to help me find exactly what I was looking for: a fit-and-flare, strapless, sweetheart neckline dress with lace and bling that wasn’t too in-your-face (yes, I was picky at this point! Lol). And together, we were able to find the winner: a beautiful Essence of Australia gown, style D2308. It was just what I wanted, and I felt perfect in it when I finally got to wear it on my wedding day!
The appointment was fairly quick, considering that I came prepared with my vision in mind, and I never felt pressured in trying anything on that I didn’t like or having to buy from them. My consultant was mindful of my budget, and I was able to try on an array of gowns without going overboard. We were also allowed to take pictures and videos of the gowns. After I said yes to the dress, they let us take a celebratory photo in front of their #CrystalBridesForever sign and gave me a little bottle of sparkling wine as a gift. I definitely felt like a princess throughout the whole experience!
During their busy Thanksgiving week, they were kind to squeeze me in for a follow-up appointment, simply so I could show the sample dress to my visiting aunt and for her and my mom to try on dresses themselves. While my mom ended up finding her dress elsewhere, my aunt purchased her beautiful cocktail dress from The Crystal Bride, and both had a wonderful time searching. My gown arrived sooner than expected in February 2020, giving me plenty of time to have alterations taken care of prior to my wedding date.

The Crystal Bride and their staff was so incredible. Irene helped me during my bridal appointment and was so patient as I couldn’t decide between two dresses and had to try each of them on about 20 times. She helped me pick a beautiful and simple veil that would highlight the gorgeous train of my dress. My mom also got her mother of the bride dress and she was stunning!! The seamstresses here are just as incredible! They were always prepared for my appointments and my alterations were minimal! The Crystal bride has such a fun and upbeat environment. Absolutely loved my dress and the shopping experience!! The woman we worked with initially to find the dress was spot on with identifying dresses in the style I wanted and made the process so much fun.
Once the dress was purchased, I loved that I was able to work with one of the in house seamstresses for alterations. We scheduled all of my fittings very early on and everything went great. Every person at Crystal Bride was so friendly and willing to help. Absolutely loved my experience and my dress!The Crystal Bride's reply:

Loved this shop!
From the building, to their huge selection of bridal dresses to choose from, to the educated staff to help me pick one I thoroughly enjoyed saying yes to my dress at The Crystal Bride. You are given your own personal worker that only works with you while you are there, helps pick out dresses like the ones you like and give you lots of space to check out the dresses. I also liked that they carried a lot of sizes including plus size for those that need those. I would recommend any bride to be to check out this store for their wedding dress!The Crystal Bride's reply:

I LOVED my experience at Crystal Bride trying on wedding dresses! I worked with Irene, who was so sweet and helpful. She knew what dresses to pull but also helped guiding me in different directions too. I ended up saying yes to the dress too!
Laura did my alterations and she was amazing. She was able to bring my vision of adding custom straps, to my otherwise strapless dress, to life! They turned out absolutely perfect and it made it the perfect dress. She was patient with me and worked with me to create a different than typical bustle.

I went into the dress shopping process assuming I would have to visit several stores, because I had some idea of what I wanted, but I'm not usually good at making decisions, so I was nervous about how the experience would be. Instead I had amazing service at the Crystal Bride from the moment I scheduled my appointment to when my dress was shipped to me. Throughout the whole process Kristin was amazing about listening to what I wanted and suggesting slightly different styles that helped me to narrow it down until I eventually picked out my dress. So many parts of wedding planning are stressful and filled with uncertainty, but my experience with Crystal Bride was anything but that. From the moment my mom and I walked through the door I felt special and like I was the only one there picking out a dress. The staff who helped me were patient, supportive, and helpful. When it was all said and done I had the perfect dress for my wedding day. Even now, months after the wedding, I still receive comments on how perfect the dress was and how beautiful I looked in it. Let me just say how incredible my experience was here. I went back 3 times and worked with Irene on each visit. My first appointment I said yes to the dress, but then was unsure when I went home. The best experience ever!
I have been to 10 different bridal salons to try on wedding dresses, and I had great experiences at all of them. It wasn't until I had a spur of the moment appointment with Kristen at The Crystal Bride that I found MY dress. We had our initial get to know you, she asked a few questions, and got a feel on what kind of dresses I had liked and wanted to try on, and brought out 5 to try on. It was the first dress I tried on. I did try on the other 4 to make sure, but none of the 4 after compared to the one she brought me first. Kristen got to know me on a personal level, figured out what my style was, and what kind of fit I wanted and brought me what I needed without me knowing what it was. I am so incredibly thankful I went to The Crystal Bride 'on a whim' to try on dresses, because I found a dress that was mine. -

I had appointments setup at other wedding dress shops, but I cancelled them after going to the Crystal Bride. They have a great selection of dresses and their team is so helpful in finding the perfect dress. I was on the hunt for a particular dress I found online and they contacted the designer so I could try it on at one of their pop-up events. I was so grateful as it ended up being the dress! I had my alterations done there too and had a wonderful experience. -

This was my fourth bridal shop to visit and I was hopeful that I would find my dress at The Crystal Bride. I worked with Kristen and she made me feel so comfortable the entire time. A few of my friends got their dresses here. Since then, I have moved out of state, but I wanted to come home for a weekend and dress shop with my mom. I wasn't really planning on buying a dress, I just wanted to get some ideas because I had no idea what silhouette I was even going for. We had been to 2 other places beforehand, and found some workable options. But when I told Kristin what I had in mind, she immediately thought of a certain dress. When she brought it to me, even in the bag I could tell it was special, with beading and lace detail. When I put it on, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face, it was that magical moment. I hadn't wanted a strapless dress, but she showed me how it could be combined with a lace jacket to get the boat neck and sleeves I was looking for. She was able to work with my budget. Lyndsey at Crystal Bride was amazing! I thought I knew what I wanted in my dress, but I was wrong! I put the dress on that she picked out for me, something completely different from what I had been trying on, and I was sold. I cried. My mom cried. My maid of honor cried. Lyndsey knows what she’s doing!

Jeanette Sent on 06/18/2018After visiting 12 other bridal stores (including a few very high-end ones) and trying on probably close to 100 dresses (I'm not kidding!), I found the one at The Crystal Bride. It was truly fate - once my consultant had a solid idea of what I had in mind and what would look good on me, she brought out a dress that was a discontinued style but they had because another bride had canceled her order. It happened to be my size and was absolutely PERFECT. When trying on dresses I decided I would not buy the first time I tried on, so I left to consider all my options. I was never pressured to buy. I couldn't stop thinking about that dress so of course I returned to get it and got the same great attention as the first time. The selection at this store is huge, the service is wonderful, the prices are affordable, and the location is great (you can try on dresses and then explore beautiful downtown Geneva!). I highly recommend making this a stop on your dress shopping list!

Their service for that made them my first pick for a place to try on wedding dresses when it was my turn to be a bride. I cannot express enough how wonderful this place is. From the second you enter the door, you are treated with the utmost care, respect, and professionalism I've ever encountered. I was not pressured at all with any dress. My dress ended up being the first dress we picked out and the first dress I tried on, but I did try on others and was not pressured one way or another. Each dress was explained to me in detail. I tried on my dress about 4 times and my attendant was so gracious and helpful. She didn't mind helping me in and out of it so much. Not only was the shopping appointment wonderful, but the alteration appointments were wonderful as well. My seamstress was fantastic and listened to me and fixed any little thing that bothered me. The other ladies at the shop took notes and were right there to make sure my every need was met. Do not hesitate when selecting a place to buy your dress. Crystal Bride is the BEST! -

Hilary Sent on 01/18/2017This. Place. The stuff of dreams. I tell ya. I became engaged in September 2015, set our date on 12/31/16, and off to planning we went. I was NOT thrilled for dress shopping. See, I'm curvy, and I know sample sizes in the style of dress I wanted (mermaid, trumpet, fit/flare) would look ridiculous unless they had a wider range of sizes. Don't believe me? Well, I went to two bridal shops before this one, and had a terrible, horrible, miserable, "let's just elope or skip this all together." time at both. Sample sizes were made for women who are a size 2-6, with a few in the 8-10 range - I wear a 12-14. When I asked for larger samples, the other places brought them!! But they were MUCH bigger sizes, causing the opposite problem, or they were more of a "second wedding" style, or OUT of style completely, pulled from a yellowing back closet. So, you can imagine my lack of excitement when I headed to The Crystal Bride on 2/20/16. I was like "ef all this, imma wear a power red lip, try on some dresses, cry, and then have a drink to get on." But it was NOT terrible, it was PERFECTION. I worked with Rebecca, and when I explained my problem, like I told the other shops, she not only listened, but she TOOK IT INTO CONSIDERATION. She pulled samples in my size, in modern, up-to-date styles, and did not scoff or laugh at my hips not lyin'. She was kind, helpful, and before I put on a dress, told me the budget, the risk/change of alterations, and possible pitfalls. I only worked with her, but I heard similar things from the other women as they assisted future brides. It was a busy Saturday morning, but they made everyone feel like THE one and only bride. I never thought I would experience it, but I did have "that" feeling when I put on "the" dress - and I strongly feel it was due to the customer service at The Crystal Bride. Christy Sent on 04/15/2016Everyone here is so nice and helpful. This was the third dress shop that I went to. I thought I would never find what I was looking for. I loved every dress that I tried on! I ended up going with a dress different than the one I had envisioned myself in. I love the dress I chose for my destination wedding and did not want to take it off. The only thing I would say is that they ordered my dress a size or two too big and I had too get it taken in a lot. I had my alterations down here as well. I had many friends that found their dresses here. Crystal Bride is a great shop to look for your wedding dress and they have a great selection.
