As mother of the bride having Ashley to take care of so many small detail was fabulous but the amount of things she brought to our attention made for an incredibly smooth event - Highly recommend her.

I met with many planners before I met with Lauren and the planner Ashley Nordahl. I knew as soon as I met them they were at the level of professionalism and comfort I was looking for. Ashley was amazing. Ashley was very caring and it was almost as if she was a good friend from the start to end. She was very attentive to myself, my parents and my in laws. I would recommend The creative Touch, Events by Lauren to all my friends, more specifically ask for Ashley ;)

Working with Lauren was such a wonderful experience! She was an incredible guide throughout the wedding planning process. She recommended great vendors, and was so helpful in discussing different options and making decisions. She was able to really understand our vision for the wedding and make it a reality. The day of the wedding I felt completely relaxed because I knew we were in such good hands with Lauren and her team. Above all, Lauren is fun, genuine, down to earth, and kind. We absolutely loved working with her!

Lauren was great. She was very good and helping us hone in on what we really wanted and then making that happen. She also helped set parameters as to what was customary, reasonable, over the top, etc. Always a pleasure to work with.

Working with The Creative Touch, Events by Lauren made the entire planning process easy and fun! They kept us organized and on a good timeline. They were very responsive to communication. Lauren was able to see my vision and keep the vision on track. She helped me make decisions to support our wedding theme. Working with Lauren and her entire team the day of the wedding was such a joy. They kept us calm and organized and allowed us to enjoy and appreciate our entire day.

Lauren was the best I could have hoped for. Everything about my day was flawless thanks to her! She did a great job helping me create the vision of my wedding that I wanted, and through the process I was so impressed at how well she just "got me". She was great with the vendors, great with the wedding party, and great with the guests. Best of all, I did not have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding. She was on it. She really knows how to do weddings. If you are looking for a planner for your big day. Look no further. I'd recommend her to anyone. She was worth every penny!!

Lauren and her staff from The Creative Touch were wonderful to work with. Lauren walked us through every step of the planning process for an entire year, and the end result was a beautiful wedding and a Mr. and Mrs. who are well on their way to a "happily ever after!"

CTE was hands-down the best investment we made for our wedding! Lauren and her team are efficient, responsive, ad proactive. Lauren is attentive to your needs and advocates for you when other vendors may not be pulling their weight. It made my life easier for sure! My husband and I loved being guests at our own wedding, never having to worry about the coordination or timing of any events that night. Lauren was there to lead the way with her complete professionalism and sweet personality. She will always be held dear in my heart for the perfect day she planned for us.

Lauren was awesome! She was always available when we needed her and had such great suggestions. The best part was that she helped me figure out, as a bride, what I really wanted for my wedding - and then she made it happen! Most importantly, she was so attentive to me on my wedding day. If I had a question about timing or even needed help re-bustling my dress - she did it all! I would highly recommend Lauren and Creative Touch for any and all wedding planning needs!

Deciding to work with Lauren was the best wedding-related decision I made. I have so many positive things to say about her that I don't even know where to begin. First, she is an absolute pleasure to be around, and made every meeting and interaction fun. It was also clear that vendors who had already worked her enjoyed working with her. Lauren took the time to understand how we envisioned the wedding unfolding and made sure that that vision was realized. She stepped in when we got overwhelmed, and was flexible and understanding when we made last-minute changes. On the day of the wedding, my (now) husband and I felt like we could just enjoy the day while Lauren ensured that everything ran smoothly.

I cannot begin to express how very grateful we were to have Lauren assist us with planning our wedding. She is completely professional yet personable. Her knowledge of planning events/weddings is very impressive. She was honest and upfront from figuring the budget to her suggestions of vendors. When wedding day came, she and her team were God-sends! I know we could not have pulled it off without her. She kept the wedding on schedule and a drink in our hands at all times. If there was any hiccup, we did not even know about it! Love, love, love her!

There are just not enough superlatives used to describe Lauren and her staff. They managed to deliver the best wedding experience for two Type A brides; this is no small feat! Her attention to detail is meticulous, her vision amazing. She has an ability to quickly understand what her client is looking for and transform that into something that is so special and unique. I am sure that Lauren played a large part in us having the best night of our lives and with many telling us this was one of the most memorable weddings they had ever attended.
I cannot recommend Lauren enough!!

I'm usually not one for online review writing but after the incredibly positive experience we had working with Lauren and her team on our wedding last month, I felt that it needed to be shared.

Having an event-planning background myself, I could tell immediately that Lauren was the type of person I wanted handling the most important event of our lives. She was very sweet and personable but you could also tell she isn't someone who gets pushed around. From the first meeting, we were very glad she was on our team, and that was a feeling we maintained all the way through the process.

In the planning phase, she was great about really learning who we were as a couple and making recommendations that weren't just cookie-cutter wedding day fan fare but ones that fit perfectly with the decisions we'd already made and fell right in line with our vision for the event as a whole. And once the wedding day rolled around, I was confident enough in her to put my residual, controlling, internal event planner aside and let her do her thing. As a result, our wedding day was stress free, incident free, and one of the most fun parties I've ever been to.

Bottom line, this was the best money we spent on the whole event and I couldn't recommend Lauren and her incredible team more. Just save yourself the time, headaches, and money (super reasonable rates) and hire them now before they book someone else on your date.

Lauren is so wonderful! She gave me everything I wanted and kept it in my budget! She helped me plan aspects of my wedding, but on the actually day she had everything running smoothly. As the bride, I didn't have to worry about a thing. The best part about Lauren is she adds those small details that you don't even think about- like a rose- petal 'Z' at the end of the aisle, she hung fabric, she did some floral arrangements, and she was even there to help with my dress. She can do it all and makes it look so easy! She is a real pro! Thanks so much Lauren for an amazing and memorable day!!

Lauren Schmidt is an amazing wedding planner!!!! She was organized, detailed and really listened to what we all wanted. She had great suggestions and ideas but truly always listened to what the bride wanted and focused in on that.. She was calm and patient with us during the entire time we worked with her(10 months) and was able to keep us all organized thru-out the process. In fact, on the day of the bride was so calm that her bridesmaids were all so amazed and that was in part to Lauren's calmness with us all. The entire wedding party as well as the brides parents, grooms parents are in total love with Lauren. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. If you want your once in a lifetime event to be successful then the first thing you have to do is hire Lauren. There is not enough room in this small box to say all that I could say about Lauren but truly she is a gem!!!

Lauren was AMAZING! My fiance and I hired her to handle "weekend of" coordination - but it was so much more than that! From the very beginning, Lauren was very attentive to detail and was genuinely interested in making sure that the vision we had for our wedding was fulfilled with as little stress as possible.

Although there were a few hiccups with my venue and other vendors along the way, Lauren handled every situation professionally and efficiently. She kept in constant communication with me, which helped calm my bridezilla moments!

I cannot give enough praise to her and her team for ensuring that our rehearsal and wedding day went according to plan - it was perfect!

Lauren was an absolute lifesaver. She made everything very easy and only wished we got her involved earlier in the process. Lauren asked all the right questions and was very responsive throughout the process. She was able to take care of everything and made sure everything went smoothly throughout the night. Lauren was so attentive to Kelsey's ideas and opinions. She was always respectful of our budget and was willing to really search more than usual for just the right vendor who was quality but worked within our budget. She was gracious and fun, and the wedding and reception flowed without any glitches at all. Lauren made an effort to get to know the dynamics of the family and friends which made such a difference the day of the wedding. We love her so much and will be quick to recommend her to friends and family who marry in the future.

I hired Lauren for my day of coordination and we started working more than two months out with some little details before she kicked in full time. With all the little details that come up and things I didn't think of, I could not have done it without her. Her guidance and suggestions were just what I needed. Even though it rained on the day of my daughter's wedding, everything ran on time and without a hitch. Thank you, Lauren, for helping to make Dara's wedding a beautiful event.

Where to begin...Lauren was absolutely amazing to work with! My husband and I were both in graduate school and I was doing a professional internship and working while also attempting to plan a wedding! Lauren recommended some amazing vendors and made the process so much more enjoyable. It was a huge relief to have her as my main point of contact and she dealt with all of the vendors and the venues. I cannot trying to do all of that myself! During the rehearsal and the day of the wedding, Lauren and her staff were amazing! So professional and they made sure everything went perfectly. Even when small glitches came up she was able to handle them so well that no one ever noticed. I met with many other planners before choosing to work with Lauren, and am so pleased with my decision. I don't think anyone else could have helped me through the process and ensured that my husband and I had the most amazing day of our lives! Thank you Lauren! You are definitely the best at what you do. All of your suggestions and opinions were always spot on and you definitely understood my tastes and my vision for the wedding. We received so many compliments about you and your staff. We are so glad with our decision and the outcome!!

Lauren really went above and beyond her stated duties and is reasonably priced for "month of" planning, which actually starts more than a month before. Most planners I contacted offered less services for more of a fee and starting much closer to the wedding date, "week of". Let me tell you, you definitely need your planner 6-8 weeks before the wedding.

Lauren kept me going through this very stressful time in my life. Our dog was diagnosed with cancer, twice, and my farther was in the hospital recovering from life-threatening surgery the day of our wedding. Lauren put me at ease and thought of all the details I couldn't even wrap my head around. And I'm highly organized. No matter how good you think you are, Lauren's better! Not only did she ease my fears professionally, but she truly cared about our personal life and struggles. She frequently emailed, called, or texted to check up on us and our family.

I emailed Lauren SO MUCH! and she always responded quickly regardless of her own personal life. I was probably a pain in the you know what, but Lauren never made me feel that way. In fact we had an issue with another vendor and Lauren not only handled it well when it was not her responsibility, but she defended us and caught an ear full from the vendor for it. That's service and caring about what you do!!! She is an amazing person, and will make sure your wedding is perfect!

I had so much fun planning our wedding, but I really wanted someone to be there for us on the day of our wedding to take care of all of the little details so everyone could just relax and enjoy the day. I found Lauren through our venue (Hickory Street Annex) and she was amazing! We started working together about two months before the wedding and I cannot describe how helpful she was. There were a lot of little details that I had not thought about that she reminded me to do. She looked over all of our contracts and corrected/altered orders for us. On the day of the wedding, instead of running around, making sure everything was taken care of, I went to brunch with my girlfriends and sat in the bridal suite sipping champagne.
I hate to think about what our wedding day would have been like without her!

I hired Lauren to be my day-of coordinator and it was SUCH a great decision, she was nothing but helpful! In the two months leading up to the wedding, she started handling everything from coordinating vendors to putting together timelines and schedules for the bridal party, which was a huge help for everyone involved in the wedding. I must have sent about 100 emails to her in those two months but she never complained and answered every single one quickly. She and her assistant were so great the day of, they made sure everything was set up on time and handled all of my vendors so that I had nothing to worry about. I seriously don't have enough good things to say!

The services I received from Creative Touch Events were beyond exceptional. Lauren and her team were always available to answer questions, go to meetings and help me think of fun wedding ideas. Lauren made me feel as though I was her only client and treated me like a friend. It was so fun planning my wedding with someone who was committed to creating my dream wedding. Lauren was able to hear my ideas and make them a reality while staying at or below my budget. Lauren and Creative Touch Events is an amazing company and I would recommend that all brides to be call her right now.

Lauren was absolutely invaluable. We could not have had the wedding we had without her. She helped us from the beginning, starting with our budget, finding a venue, photographer, etc. The vendors she recommends are simply the best. Lauren was especially helpful for the rehearsal and mostly wedding day. As a Mother of the Bride, I could focus on my daughter and the whole wedding experience, knowing Lauren had every little detail under control. I really enjoyed my daughter's wedding but more importantly, my daughter had her dream wedding. Priceless!!!!!

It was the perfect wedding and the perfect day. In the weeks leading up to the wedding Lauren was on top of everything with a detailed schedule of events for the wedding day and review of vendor contracts and polite reminders to everyone from the groomsmen and wedding party to our family. She and her assistants came by our house and picked up things for delivery to the church and reception and oversaw delivery and set up of everything. Just before the time came for the father of the bride to walk the bride down the isle, she quietly said, "take a deep breath and smile," and that seemed to just take the edge off at just the right moment. During the reception one of her staff brought plates of food to us and said, "don't forget to eat." At her suggestion, arrangements were made for the bride and groom to be served their dinner at the reception privately in the bride's dressing room to just take a minute and let everything sink in before re-joining our guests. What a great idea! Thank you Lauren. We can't imagine what our wedding would have been without you. You helped make this the best day in our lives.

Wow, I could go on and on about how wonderful, responsible, and creative Lauren was for my wedding! From the beginning, she was so quick with getting back to us via email and phone. She attended every vendor meeting with us and gave us so many suggestions on how to make our wedding better and better!

I loved that she got to know me and my family so as to know exactly what we were looking for in our wedding. She understood our style, our budgets and our desires which was so important! My husband was extremely impressed with how organized she made everything go. It was so nice to not worry about a single thing on the day of our wedding!

I would highly recommend Lauren and her services. You wont be disappointed!

I can't say enough about Lauren. I hired her for the two months prior to my wedding to help me put together all the details and actually coordinate the rehearsal and day of.

She was wonderful from our very first consultation, and spent 2 HOURS with me before I even hired her... asking questions, gathering details, and getting an idea of what I wanted. She thought to ask and plan things I know I personally wouldn't have thought of, and as a result my wedding was everything I could have asked for. Even better than that, the day of my wedding couldn't have been more relaxing. She took care of everything while I was able to focus on the "fun" part of my wedding day - getting pretty, being with friends, talking to people that called with their congrats. I didn't talk to one vendor, or deal with one single problem, and everything was perfect. I had multiple people from both families compliment how perfectly everything went and told me several times Lauren was worth her weight in gold. I couldn't agree more. HIRE her. She's fabulous.

We hired Lauren after our event planner had to back out just 4 months before my daughters wedding I felt a connection from the moment we met and she did not let us down. I am a Master Control Freak and even more picky but Lauren did a superb job even the wedding guests mentioned how impressed they were with her. I will be looking for a reason to use her services again. You can't miss with this one if you want your event to be the best it can be call on Lauren she won't let you down.

Lauren was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING to work with. My wedding was everything and more that I ever dreamed that it would be. She was so flexible with what I wanted and also had many great and creative ideas. Anything I asked for the answer was ALWAYS "Absolutely"! Our guests are still talking about the wedding and I have heard from MANY people that it was the BEST wedding they had ever attended. We also received MANY compliments from other vendors about how enjoyable it was for them to work with Lauren. Lauren is very personable and my family and I are actually looking for more reasons to use her services.

Lauren provided full service for us from the beginning of finding vendors like the florist and the DJ. for the wedding as well as our rehearsal dinner. She was there the entire weekend to make sure the bride and the MOB could enjoy their weekend and the guests and not have to worry about the details. Lauren was very attentive to our needs. She was extremely organized and always helpful. I would highly reccommend her for any special event planning.

Lauren was by far a fantastic wedding planner. She was always easy to contact and had so many wonderful ideas that planning with her was so easy! Lauren planned our rehearsal dinner and the day and evening of our wedding. The rehearsal dinner went so perfect and smooth, all we had to do was arrive, socialize, eat and be with family. On the day of the wedding, Lauren was in five places at once- or so it seemed- but she never appeared frazzled or stressed. Aside from a few snags (which had nothing to do with Lauren) the wedding was a great success. The snags that did occurr, Lauren covered them up so well NO ONE could tell. Lauren ran the show from behind the scenes and did so with ease, comfort and style. Thank you Lauren for a fantastic and memorable weekend!

Lauren was wonderful to work with. Very professional, very timely with her help and very cost conscious for us. (Letting us know where we should spend money but also letting us know if she did not think it was necessary to spend money on an item.) I woul highly recommend her.

I don't even know how to express the amazing work and support Lauren provided for our recent wedding! I am not a planner, so I was really nervous going into this. I have a big family and everyone has different tastes. Lauren was really able to pull everyone's perceptions and expectations together into the perfect night.

Lauren was key in pre-wedding decisions from vendors to set-up. She had well priced and experienced referrals, and she coordinated everything with all of the vendors! As for the night of, Lauren made the evening flow smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing! Several friends commented on what an incredible job "the wedding planner" did. I would comfortably, confidently, and enthusiastically recommend Lauren's wedding planning services to any friend or family member who is or will be planning a wedding (or any other event for that matter).

Lauren provided the best service that far exceeded my expectations. She listened to what I ultimately wanted in every area of my reception and was able to provide solutions to any problem/issues that arose. I believe these are two very important and hard to find characteristics with any service provider! I feel like she very much took ownership and put heart into my event, for which I cant thank her enough. Everything was perfect that day and I absolutely know that it would have never been at that level without her. I work with many vendors in my profession and am very careful about my referrals - but I can say I fully recommend Lauren without any hesitation.

Lauren with The Creative Touch is the reason my wedding was absolutly beautiful, and went off without a hitch. She helped me with anything from putting my veil on, to getting rid of unruly bar staff, to making sure that my husband and I never knew there was anything going on behind the scenes that weren't planned.

Lauren is well worth the money! On top of everything she did for me professionally I also feel like I gained a friend.

Lauren planned my whole wedding, and it is now going to be featured in the December issue of The Texas Wedding Guide!

I had no idea how much we needed a wedding coordinator until we met with Ashley. The Creative Touch are clearly pros, and Ashley helped us think through all sorts of things we hadn't even considered. We really felt like they made an effort to understand who we were and what kind of event we wanted to have, and then Ashley did everything in her power to make it go off without a hitch. She told us her job was to make sure that nothing went wrong, and that if something did, we had no idea. Well, I felt like everything was perfect, so...nicely played, guys. We were blessed to have Lauren as our wedding planner. Throughout the wedding planning process, she remained organized, encouraging, and focused on making sure we got done what needed to get done. She offered creative ideas, shared her wedding wisdom, and kept an open line of communication between everyone involved. On the day of the wedding, my husband and I were so blessed to not have to worry about running the reception which allowed us to focus on enjoying time with our guests. Lauren handled everything that night with the utmost integrity and professionalism. Her calm and confident nature throughout the day helped us stay calm and confident as well! Lauren did a GREAT job, helping my family and I plan the big day. We used her services for "weekend of coordination" but she helped several weeks before our wedding and responsive to any questions I had throughout my planning process. Details are so important when the wedding approaches and Lauren took care of it all, allowing me to fully enjoy being a bride. I was able to take everything in from the rehearsal to the end of the reception!

Lauren was fantastic! The true test of a vendor for me is do they do what they say they will do on the wedding day? Lauren did that and more! She was the level head and the problem solver of the day. Lauren made me (mother of the bride) feel as important as the couple. She listened to my emotional responses with calmness and concern. She even met with me after the event to solve some other situations. She was very professional and kind and genuine. Before hand she communicated with me with details and stayed in contact. That alone added greatly to my feeling organized.
I would highly recommend her to any bride & groom and mother of the bride or whomever needed her services! High 5's to Lauren!!!

After interviewing 4 other planners in one day Lauren was my last meeting and from the start we clicked. She has extensive planning experience on her own and with companies. She has a wealth of knowledge and an extensive network of vendors. She worked with me from a year out and made our day amazing. Everything went soo smooth people told me it was the most well run wedding they had ever been a part of or attended. She respected our budget and was not daunted with our almost 200 person confirmed guests. She works with many other brides and does other events so it took me a while to understand she may not answer your emails within 5 minutes but she will get back to you and answer any questions or deal with vendors. She made my wedding the perfect day I dreamed it would be.
