Great Reception
We finally were able to celebrate our daughter and son-in-law’s Covid wedding with a post-Covid reception. It was a great opportunity for our extended family and friends to celebrate in person.
We couldn’t have been more pleased. The reception was in a county park and the Picnic Style menu with on-site grilling and the chicken and pork chops were delicious and juicy; the vegetables freshly hand prepared; the corn bread a perfect accompaniment. Everything was great and we received many positive comments on the food…in fact I think the meat was the best I have had. We also had vegetarian guests and they appreciated the special entrees prepared for them.
The detail for pre and post event coordination (menu decisions, counts, payments, etc.) helped keep us on track and left the day of the reception for us to enjoy.
I would heartily recommend The Catering Company.

August 22, 2020 Wedding
With changing venues 3 weeks prior due to COVID and a lot of guest count changes, Kim and her staff were with us every step of the way. We choose the Catering Company because of the great words from others that have choose them for events, we are so glad we did! Kim and her staff helped me during a very stressful time and I am so thankful for that. We had a goof with the table lines the day before the wedding but Kim and her team came out to our venue and fixed it right away!! Thank you for helping make our 2020 wedding amazing! Our guest LOVED all the food and was able to still have our buffet line with all the safety measures there! Thank you again!! -

Wonderful experience
Catering Company just catered our daughters wedding last weekend. The food was nothing short of amazing! The staff was easy to work with and very friendly! It was a great experience and I would definitely hire them again! -

Great food and even better service
Working with Tom at The Catering Co. was awesome and so easy! Not only was the food amazing (we received so many compliments on the food during/after the wedding) but Tom was so fun, laid back, and extremely helpful. He was be willing to squeeze a quick meeting in here or there and was very responsive with any questions or concerns I might have had. Looking back, I'm so happy and grateful that I was able to work with Tom and The Catering Co. on our big day! -

Would definitely book again!
TCCo was so amazing to work with! Tom was our contact and he answered questions we hadn’t thought of yet; he accommodated every change we made to help stick within budget and was so friendly to work with. In all of the crazy that goes with a wedding, I never had to worry about catering. We got RAVE reviews as well from our guests. Everyone particularly enjoyed the appetizers being passed as opposed to stations. I loved the detail as well—and was excited to offer since it wasn’t an added expense (unlike everywhere else we priced out). I hope to never plan a wedding again, but if I had to do it all over, I’d book The Catering Company in a heartbeat. -

Amazing food!
We had amazing meals. Many people told us best wedding food. I have food allergies & they were very accommodating. Tom was so quick to respond! -

The Best Caterer in the Tri-Cities
The Catering Company was such a great choice for our wedding. Linda made sure that our cocktail hour and dinner went flawlessly. She even went out of her way to insure that the buffet decorations and linens flowed with the rest of the wedding decor. Linda even made plates for my husband and me to take to the hotel with us to make sure we got something to eat. Her staff was so courteous, prompt, and just all around fantastic! I highly recommend and would go so far to say that if you have a wedding in the Tri-Cities area and don't have them as the caterer, you're making a mistake. -

The Catering Company did an absolutely amazing job ensuring everything went as planned and ran smoothly on our wedding day. The staff was personably, professional and made sure that each guest was taken care of. They were extremely helpful in planning our wedding day menu and timeline for the day of. All of our guests have said nothing but good things about the food that was served as well as the bar service during our reception. We could not be happier with the services we received from The Catering Company during our wedding! -

The Catering Company did an amazing job on the food for our cocktail hour and reception. We received so many compliments from our guests on the quality of our food and everyone loved the passed appetizers! The staff was amazing to work with and so accommodating to our requests. Kim and Co. were absolutely amazing in the prep, coordination and the carryout of my daughters wedding this past October. Wonderful personalities, paid attention to detail, food was amazing, staff was superb, attentive to the entire process with fantastic suggestions. Kim and Co became part of our family, we laughed, shared frustrations and many joys, the event was a success due to their listening ears and planning.
Kim is very professional, very honest with a high set of morals and standards, very creative, and an overall pleasure to work with. A standout in her field as well as in life.
We would definitely recommend Kim and her staff to anyone who would ask and would not hesitate to use The Catering Company for any other event we needed to plan.
Thank you form the bottoms of our hearts.
It was a sad day when the event was wrapped up and complete. We missed talking and planning. -

I am incredibly pleased with the service I received through The Catering Company. Sarah Tupper, the new catering manager, was personable and professional. She encouraged me to meet with her in person so she could get a solid idea of what I wanted. She has a strong policy on making the bride feel as relaxed as possible during this process-- and I definitely felt relaxed! When we met for our consolation I felt like I was meeting with an old friend. When I tried the food at our tasting, I was sold. We had picky, experienced wedding guests tell us that this is the BEST wedding food they've ever had. The service was also great: Quick and pleasant. My water glass was always full and I was greeted with a smile by every server. The week before the wedding, I called one of the managers to make sure everything was running smoothly: And I caught him in the middle of a discussion with other managers about my wedding and how they were going to set up the desserts. I felt comforted to know that they were having good communication and planning well for my Big Day. To top it all off the prices were definitely affordable. Choose The Catering Co for your services! -

The Catering Co. did a great job with the food for our wedding at the Bissell Tree House! Our guests loved the food and everything arrived on time. They had so many delicious options! After my husband and I had picked out some options that we might like, they fed us a meal in order to sample everything! After tasting the food we decided to go with them for our wedding, and I'm so glad we did! Our guests loved the food and drinks they supplied, and the Catering Co. made everything extremely easy- and for a fair price too. Highly recommend! -

TCCo was a pleasure to work with, and we got so many compliments on the food during the wedding. Not to mention, our dessert and hot chocolate bar was a HUGE hit.

The bride, my daughter, wanted food stations for her wedding. I had never heard of this arrangement for a wedding. But, The Catering Co. understood what the bride wanted and did a wonderful job making it happen for her wedding. The food was amazing. We had a pasta, greek, meat craver, mash potato, and a dessert stations. The guests mingled as they wandered from station to station choosing exactly what and the amount they wanted to eat. All the guests raved about how delicious the food was. Before the wedding started, we had supplied containers for left overs. We are glad we did because the food was great even after reheating it the following day. As a final and important note, Kim and Cassidy from The Catering Co. were a great help by responding to my emails promptly. -

The Catering Company in Grand Rapids, MI did a wonderful job at our wedding of 100 people. It was located at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. My husband and I are located in Seattle, WA and they Catering Company shifted to our needs of having stations instead of a buffet. They worked with us to get us in for tasting when we were in town. The food was so good. The mashed potato bar, pasta bar, we had a greek station and meat station. We had great compliments. The staff was friendly and helpful! We even got to take leftovers home. They allowed us to open dessert first. A++ -

We didn't have a choice with who to use for our catering when we chose our venue, but we are SO HAPPY that we got "stuck" with these guys! The food was amazing, and we got compliments all night on the dishes we chose (Pork Fromage, Mediterranean Chicken, and Risotto), and are still hearing from people about the food. The staff was super quick to respond with questions, very easy to consult with for food tasting, and ended up making our wedding meal so enjoyable and so tasty! We highly recommend using The Catering Co. for your food. The prices are great, and they worked with us on a last-minute drop in head count for our wedding. So happy with the service and food they provided! -

Truly amazing experience for our recent wedding! They made us feel as though we were their most important client. Terry and Kim are extremely responsive and proactive; they both went above and beyond numerous times, coordinating with other vendors and making sure our wedding went off without a hitch. Terry, who is the owner, even staffed our wedding personally to make sure it was right ....all the onsite staff the day of were very nice and professional as well. And the food was EXCELLENT! People told us it was great and we thought so as well. Wish we lived closer (we live in a different state and planned the wedding nearly entirely long distance) and had more events so we could use them again!! -

Kim from The Catering Co. made the planning process so wonderful and easy! She was personable and fun. She had a lot of great suggestions from food pairings to cocktails to serve! She was quick to respond to emails and was able to help out with details I had forgotten!

The Catering Co did a fantastic job at providing food AND drink for our wedding! The food was VERY worth the price (for $25/person we had: 2 hot appetizers, fruit, cheese & breads for the guests when they arrived, then a plated dinner & salad, water, coffee, tea, cake cutting, and a beer/wine bar). Our contact was Kim, who set up a tasting session, then oversaw every detail, from the place settings at the reception, the placement of each utensil, the colors I chose for the table overlay & napkins, and even helped me put lights on the head table. She gave it a very personal touch and answered all of my questions. Without a doubt, I would use their serves again & highly recommend them! -

The were so willing to work with my budget and gave me great quality food. We had a private tasting to try some ideas we had apart from their set menu. It is 7 months after our wedding and our guests are still talking about how great our food was! -

I would definitely reccommend the Catering Company. The food was delicious and our guests really loved it! Service was great too! We didn't choose to get our cake from them but i'm sure that would have been great too! -

Good food, good service, good reception. We had many choices of dishes and even got to try them before hand. Everyone at our reception was impressed that it wasn't your typical 'wedding food' it was actually really good. They were hugely flexible when I had to add a couple of people last minute. They even allowed us to not have a seating chart though it would be much harder for them. I'm very grateful for that! Any emails or phone calls were very immediate and they helped as much as they could when we had to find a new cake last minute. Very impressive. -

Overall this caterer was great. They provided food and bar for our reception. The food was excellent and compared to other caterers in the area very reasonable. We went back and forth MANY times after the original contract was signed on how many guest, what type of food and drinks, etc and every time they updated the estimates and answered all questions quickly. My ONE complaint from the day of the wedding was that it took quite a bit of time from the time I got my salad until I got my dinner - this time may have been reasonable under normal circumstances but we were running behind and I had hoped they might have made up some time for us. -

The Catering Company was a wonderful choice for our reception. They were very helpful in the planning process, extremely organized, and very responsive to questions. Cassidy returned our emails ASAP - even if it was 9:30 PM or on a Sunday. The food was delicious! Our guests couldn't stop talking about the Trotter Cut Sirloin! We definitely recommend them!! -

We went to a group tasting and sampled lots of items from their set menu, but not everything we picked on our menu we were able to try first. I was a little hesitant about this however, it was all very good. Their servers are excellent. -

I loved working with the catering company their staff was the best and they were so easy to work with. The food on the day of was not the best. We had 4 different selections and didn't hear anyone say they were that amazing. My dish came out cold (speeches did go over about 25 mins) and my husbands pork was so dry he was trying to saw it apart to eat it. We tasted other catering companies and the catering co was the best but again its catering food and ehh was the best to sum it up. Would I use them again, yes but don't think you are getting the most amazing meal of your life. -

I will start off by saying that they could not have a more attentive staff. They were refilling drinks before I even realized I was almost empty. The only thing I was upset about was the food. All you lovely brides know how hard it is to get in breakfast and such prior to wedding day and I was still left hungry at the end of the night. Are taste testing was awesome, but when it came to the big day half the peoples food was cold and the sauteed carrots were pretty much raw. I just think whatever you serve at a taste testing should be of the same quality the big day. Terry was more the willing to take care of this issue, but it was after the fact. Maybe they just had a bad day..... -

The quality and portions of food were a 2 out of 5.. mashed potatoes were on the dry side chicken portions were so so, chicken mushroom gravy was bland and could have used more gravy on chicken and potatoes, when they served the cake the edge of the cake was dried out due to them cutting the cake to early and serving it later on.. Service was good and quick, but.. -

We chose The Catering Co. because they were one of the 3 vendors that the venue required us to use for the catering portion of the wedding. We do not live in the area, so much of our planning was done online by email. We went with them because they were quick to reply, helpful & they offered gluten free entree's which would cater to some of our guests dietary constraints.
Throughout the planning process we found, Terry, our contact to be extremely helpful & accommodating. He would take no time at all to respond to our emails & special requests. Each time he made me feel like my wedding was also important to them & they wanted everything to be perfect.
We visited their facility for a tasting & then booked with them over a year before our wedding. We felt good about our decision until about a month before the wedding everything changed. We received a phone call from another employee wanting to confirm details that we had discussed with our primary contact, Terry, by email. Many of our details were never recorded. & once our files were updated they were still incomplete. We did not know how incomplete they were until we were still confirming delivery of items & table layouts one day before our wedding. It was a very stressful experience.
On the day of the wedding, everything was set up & in place. There were obvious missteps, bottles vs. kegs, too many plates on tables that there were no chairs for, side dishes were cold, these were only noticed by me & my husband. Our guests enjoyed their meals & had their drinks refilled promptly.
When hiring this company, please note most likely your contact person will not be there on the day of your wedding, really no one you plan with will be there to observe that you are getting what you paid for. Be clear in what you want. But know that The Catering Co. may be agreeable & then flip flop on their answers the day before your event. -
