  Taking August was absolutely fantastic. They played for our ceremony and cocktail hour and were excellent musicians. Many of our guests commented that they were the best part of the entire day. I dealt with Daniel when arranging everything and he was easy to get a hold of and get things organized.
  
  We did not have many specific requests for our ceremony music and I left it for them to actually pick most of the music and they did a far better job than I could ever have imagined.
  
  Without a doubt - do not hesitate to have them part of your ceremony.

  My family has hired Taking August for both a wedding rehearsal bbq and a milestone birthday party. They are serious crowd pleasers and would be my number one choice for any future events.

  I heard Taking August at my friend's wedding and decided to book them for our Christmas Party! They were a HUGE hit!!! Everyone was up dancing until late into the night! We had guests commenting for weeks about how great they were and how much they added to the evening. Both Kelsey and Daniel are extremely talented vocalists and instrumentalists. I can't believe how many instruments they play...they actually sound like a full band! I would highly recommend them for any function whether its for background entertainment, acoustic wedding ceremony or a "dancing good time" Loved them!!

  We have had the pleasure of hiring Taking August for our annual Christmas party for the last several years. You will be hard pressed to find a more versatile duo anywhere. Their instrumentation and harmonies are really second to non and as they can perform many different genres, they are perfect for almost any gathering. I have already booked them for this year's event and would highly recommend them to anyone. Top notch!

  Taking August was amazing! They did our ceremony and part of our reception. They are so talented-- they sing in a way that is unique and entertaining. I wanted a more modern spin/sound for a very old song for the mother/son dance-- which they did very well-- you just can't get that from a DJ. I could not have been happier and feel they really added that extra touch to my wedding.
