Incredible Photography Team!

Tim is amazing. He is so much fun which in our case definitely helped make us feel super comfortable in front of a camera. After our engagement photos we knew we couldn't have made a better choice for our wedding day. He and Dani (who we were so lucky to work with) fit right in with our crowd. They knew just how to direct everyone to get the right shots as well as blend it and get some incredible candids. My husband and I really wanted photos that looked like art to hang in our home. And that's what we got and more. Every big event in my life I want Tim and Dani there to photograph. They were so much fun to work with and are incredible at what they do. You will not be disappointed in hiring Tim and his team!

Super fun photos

Tim was the best. My husband usually rolls his eyes at the thought of taking photos, but Tim and his team made it really fun and laid back for my husband and I as well as our bridal party. He recommended a location for the first look and helped us create our wedding day timeline. He even took individual shots for each bridesmaid, which I thought was very nice. Super excited to see the finished products!!

Genius Photography

I relied heavily on reviews when selecting the vendors for my wedding day. Tim has such excellent ratings and comments from happy couples, that I felt safe shooting him an email. From the very first phone call, Tim was phenomenal to work with. He's hilarious, easy-going, flexible, fun, and kind, not to mention an absolute genius behind the lens. He's really laid back but takes your wedding day very seriously, which takes all of the stress away because you can truly trust him. Pictures weren't canned or felt staged in any way, and he made my Husband and me look like models. My Bridal Party loved him and his teammate Ally. (Some are even trying to book him, woo!) Together they made us laugh genuinely, and captured sweet private moments. Tim and Ally were both there, but not there, blending seamlessly into the wedding day and snapping shots of everything and everyone. We were THRILLED with our photos. There are so many artistically exquisite shots that I'm having such trouble choosing my favorites. Best vendor ever

Tab photography was definitely our favorite vendor! they captured our backyard wedding perfectly and we are OBSESSED with our photos! Tim was great to work with and was very responsive and helped calm any nerves for sure! Tim had our whole bridal party/ family cracking up and we even had a few of our married friends say that they wished they used him as their photographer for their own weddings.

I literally cannot say enough positive and complimentary words about Tim. He was without-a-doubt the best part of our day because thanks to him, we have forever keepsakes that are stunning. Tim kept us on track, pulled me together and calmed me down, was flexible, and was truly an artist, making our day unforgettable through his photos and the fun memories created that day. His photos speak for themselves on his immense love for what he does and the amazing talent he possesses. Planning our wedding was so stressful. Not just because of the wedding itself, but because of all the outside influences as well. So working with Tim was a breath of fresh air for us. From the moment I started communicating with him 14 months before our wedding, I just knew he HAD to be our wedding photographer. His witty sense of humor, fun personality and professionalism captured us right away. Everything was a breeze with him. He always responded to emails and texts quickly, he called me to calm me down when our original photo location was torn up, and helped me come up with ideas for a new location. When we first met him at our engagement shoot, he put us at ease right away. We were laughing the whole time and it ended up being one of our favorite days together as a couple. The day of the wedding, he was AWESOME. We had a really big rowdy bridal party, but he was really calm cool and collected throughout the whole day. I tried my best not to be late, and even though we still were late to pictures, ??, he still worked really hard to make sure we got some really great pictures. Tim is a photographer that just didn't capture photos from our wedding, he captured the LOVE and JOY that was at our wedding. It is obvious that he loves what he does. It doesn't seem like it's "just a job" for him....it's his passion. We were looking for a photographer that was artistic, edgy and fun and we found him! We have not seen our pictures yet because we just got married less than two weeks ago, but I know they will be amazing. And I will update my review once we get them. Thank you Tim for everything!

We did our engagement and wedding photos with Tim and are so glad that we did! We were looking for a photographer who could capture the moments and emotions. In short, we wanted lifestyle photography rather than portrait. Our photos turned out beautifully. It was a pleasure working with Tim and his assistant. They arguably were one of our top two vendors throughout the whole process. Tim was flexible and did a great job tweaking a package that would specifically meet our needs. He went above and beyond, even taking pictures of the groom's beloved car at our engagement shoot. It was clear to us that Tim loves what he does and is an artist rather than a person with a camera capitalizing on the wedding industry. We would definitely recommend hiring Tim!

My husband and I booked Tim for our wedding after seeing his work for our friends wedding. We could not have been happier with the final pictures!! I absolutely hate taking photographs but Tim scheduled our engagement photos to give us all a feel of his work and get to know each other. I love that he was laid back and and fun to work with but still extremely professional. I felt so comfortable which was a huge deal for me! He was fantastic to work with and the pictures came out amazing!! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer!

Tim was hands down one of the best decisions we made during the wedding Planning process. He doesn't do Cookie cutter packages; he listens to what you want and creates something special for you. His personality puts everyone at ease, makes you laugh and rolls with the punches (when it rains on your wedding day/outdoor ceremony and the whole schedule needs to be thrown out the window because of it. :) He still managed to get beautiful shots, even those shots that moved me to tears. The engagement photos were gorgeous... all the way down to the dancing at the wedding reception; he was everywhere and nowhere . Meaning; Not obtrusive but somehow Managed to get the shots. Everyone felt so comfortable with him; you feel like he's been your friend forever. I've had multiple people since the wedding tell me they want him to be their photographer when they get married. And I will go back to him in the future for any photography needs. We were more at ease knowing he had our back with those wedding hiccups that inevitably happen, and I had a bridesmaid say that she was struck by how he genuinely cared about what he was doing and making sure that we were happy. As your wedding day approaches, you’ll be cautioned that “things will go wrong at your wedding.” And in the end, for us, that turned out to be true...

…Tim, however, was not one of those things.

His website speaks for itself; his talent truly goes unmatched. But, we were also won over by his personality. He truly made us feel at ease in what can be a very stressful environment. Speaking from experience, we lucked out finding someone who is trustworthy, responsive, imaginative, creative, personable, relaxed, fun, clear-minded, and decisive. Our first interaction was over a year before our wedding during a Skype interview and he had us immediately laughing. Ever since, we’ve been able to joke and keep a lighthearted conversation, through engagement pictures to the wedding itself, and we really felt as though he got a feel for who we were… I know he did; because that’s exactly what his pictures reflect.

We were confident that our pictures would come out great, but once we saw them, we were just in awe. Trust me, TAB Photographic is worth the investment. Apart from saying “I DO,” this is the easiest decision you can make for your big day!

They watch and captiure every single special moment that transpires between you and your wedding party, your family, but most of all you and your partner. Tim and his team were great to work with while planning and were awesome vendors at the wedding. Tim was willing to work with me on a package that was appropriate for my budget and was able to include some video so I did not have to hire a separate videographer.
There was light rain throughout the day but they still made it possible to do some photos outside. They were fun and helped this anxious bride relax while getting ready. We barely noticed them during the wedding and reception but are certain they got wonderful photos. The photos I have seen so far have been very impressive and really captured the spirit of the day.

We love Tim! We want to hang out with Tim. He worked with us for our engagement pictures (which were part of our wedding package), and then again for our wedding day.
On our engagement photo day, he worked to get to know us, and then captured "us" perfectly. He even managed to get our dog to behave for the photos. Once he sent us all the shots, we had no concerns with how our wedding photos were going to turn out.
The day of the wedding, Tim and his assistant were professional and awesome to work with. They got great shots of each of us getting ready, and were early to the church to get some stills as well. We never felt annoyed with Tim's camera, but he was still able to catch the essence of the wedding and the reception.
He provided us with close to 1000 pictures that are now our property. The shots were great.
We would definitely recommend Tim's company to anyone planning a wedding!

The first time I saw Tim's website I knew he was photographer for me! He worked with us until we felt comfortable with the price point. We had a wonderful engagement session where he was awesome. My husband and I has so much fun! He gave us amazing photos! I know he had to get up early in order to be there on time for my wedding and no one would ever know! His personality and energy created a fun and comfortable atmosphere. All of my wedding guest commented on how awesome our photographer was. Tim is an amazing photographer and all around awesome guy to work with! Since getting our photos back a few weeks ago, we have received so many compliments on how high quality the pictures are and how much they captured our day.

Right from the start, Tim makes everything fun---and he has creative vision and is a true pro at managing the day. My husband and I both have big families, so lots of people wanted to take pictures, and Tim was very adept at letting everyone get some shots while still getting his own amazing shots. I was having so much fun on the dance floor that I didn't even realize how many moments he was capturing. He is so much a pro that he even was even able to give advice on how to best lace up my dress as I was getting ready!

And the pictures are gorgeous. Tim is so talented and all the photos---both posed and natural---have a special touch to them. His prices are also very reasonable given how long he stays for the wedding and how wonderfully the pictures turn out. We will really treasure them and are very happy we chose TAB!

I can't say enough great things about TAB Photographic. From the moment we met Tim in a local Starbucks, we knew that he was going to make our wedding vision a reality. He really listened to what we wanted, but didn't hesitate to input his own creativity and magic. Tim was reliable and always around if we needed him for anything. Tim was quite honestly my favorite vendor of the day - and we had some pretty amazing vendors! From the second I emailed Tim the first time, I knew that I wanted to work with him. His positive energy from the very first email was palpable - and that's exactly what we were looking for in our wedding photographer. He worked with us to develop a package that we felt comfortable with, and it included everything we wanted. Even after a slight hiccup with our engagement photos - which was no fault of Tim's, the weather was the uncooperative one there! - he was responsive and understanding, and wanted to do whatever he could to make sure we were happy.

The day of our wedding, I could not have been happier. Tim showed up at the house, and was immediately part of my crew. His personality and energy made everyone immediately comfortable - none of us thought twice about the fact that he was taking our pictures while we were getting ready. He was absolutely amazing every step of the way. From the first look getting crashed by 40+ European tourists, to almost getting hit in the intersection while trying to get a shot, to obliging my best friends when we wanted pictures with the random dog that was walking by the venue. Stop searching if you are looking for a photographer with that "something special and unique". Just talk to Tim and TAB Photographic and you will know right away what I am talking about. If I could give more stars I would. TAB Photographic offered way more than photography during my wedding. You think you are looking for someone to take pictures and video when you are searching for a photographer. Tim not only captured moments but also helped create the special moments between my husband and our family and we that we will never forget. As for the output...we are BLOWN AWAY with the compilation of videos and photos Tim created. I feel like he had known us our entire lives and captured our personality in every shot. He adds an element of personalization and artistry that I have never see before. The best part is the rates are beyond reasonable for the service and product.

Being someone who is very shy when it come to pictures of myself I was extremely nervous about this pick of the wedding planning. My sisters friends had used TAB and I loved their photos so we figured let's try it. About 2 seconds into meeting Tim I realized why I loved his photographs. Tim captures your soul and your personality in each picture, each moment of your special day will be documented through the pictures. Tim makes everyone look beautiful, I think because he just becomes part of your occasion. Not only did my husband and I love the pictures but our families and friends had a great time at our wedding.
Tim gave us the best gift, memories that will last forever of the special time we had. TAB is a talented, trustworthy, and reasonable photographer who anyone would be lucky to share memories with.

I honestly cannot say enough about Tim. He is not only an amazing photographer but he is also just an awesome guy to work with. He first took our engagement photos in 2013 and everything was perfect. He is seriously such a creative photographer! When our wedding day came it was there from beginning to end, he not only got amazing shots of all of us girls getting ready but he also took tons of pictures of my husband and his groomsmen getting ready. That was so important to me because I have seen so many different photographers just focus their attention on the bride but the wedding is about the bride and groom and he was able to capture a side of my husband that not even I have seen before. It was such a pleasure to work with someone that we felt like we could be ourselves with. Neither my husband nor I have ever gotten our pictures taken professionally so we went in feeling awkward and nervous about how pictures would come out but Tim completely calmed all of our nerves. My guests have made comments about my wedding photos saying that they are: brilliant, fantastic, amazing, genius, and the best wedding photos that they have ever seen. It means so much to me that we are able to have these pictures for the rest of our lives. We really felt as though we were able to relive the best day of our lives through these pictures. We feel so lucky to have found such an amazing photographer and I hope his work continues to spread throughout the country. I can't wait until we begin our family so we can have Tim continue to be apart of our lives through his photos but until then, as Tim would say, Shine On.

Tim is an incredible photographer. His photographs are impeccable and even more than that, he is an absolute pleasure to work with. During the planning process he was so much fun and very easy to contact. On the day of our wedding, he went above and beyond to make sure our day was just as we had envisioned it and that we were having fun the entire time. The first look was incredible! He set it up perfectly. After the wedding, looking at the photos that he took was like reliving the entire day. He caught our personalities on film and really captured the essence of our day. Quite simply, TAB was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding and I couldn't be happier with him, his direction and presence the day of (trust me it's not easy wrangling cats a.k.a. the bridal party). The timeliness, quantity and quality of the photos we received (all in LESS THAN a month after the wedding) were simply amazing.

Finding a photographer who knows what they are doing and can take great shots and that you feel comfortable and calm around with is key to making your big day less stressful and Tim was all of those things and more. You spend your ENTIRE day with your photographer so choosing someone you get along with and trust is very important. After the flowers have wilted, the cake has been eaten and all of the guests have gone home, your photos are one of the few things that are physically cherished after the wedding. Between the blog post, video, social media posts and the extensive library of photos Tim gave us we have been re-living our day for the past month. It has been amazing.

The video brought us to tears and it has been wonderful sharing these memories with our friends and family. My new husband and I are more than thrilled. A thank you just doesn't feel like it does our appreciation justice.

From my husband: I undervalued the importance of the photos, thinking that they were more of an expensive luxury. But after seeing the product that Tim put forward, and his professionalism on the day of, it really made me understand and appreciate what he does to add to the experience.

I contacted between 40-50 people/companies in the process of finding a photographer for our wedding and spent 12-15 hours doing so. Let me tell you, it was worth the research! Tim Brown was the only one that stood out, of all the people I spoke with. He was the first and only photographer we had an initial meeting with; from then on I knew I didn't want anyone else to photograph the most special day of our lives. I love his creativity!!! He does such beautiful work. I cannot express how grateful I am to have had Tim as our photographer. He is very responsive, whenever I was to email, text or call him and was always professional, yet super fun. Honestly, he was my favorite vendor to work with. I trusted him so much, I always emailed him for advice pertaining to recommendations for a DJ, videographer, etc. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. The photos he took at our wedding...honestly, it's priceless, it truly is. You only have one opportunity to have someone capture your most intimate, joyous moments; you want to be sure you have the right photographer (especially if you're like me and want PERFECTION). When Tim sent us over our wedding photos, I literally relived all of the emotions from that day. Again, that is beyond priceless to me. I laughed and cried while scrolling through the hundreds and hundreds of photos he took, capturing the most special and unforgettable moments. I was shocked by some of the amazing shots he got. I HIGHLY recommend at LEAST reaching out to Tim and having an initial meeting with him. If you were anything like me, you'd be hooked on him from the beginning. My opinion, being a previous bride who was very specific, detailed-oriented and craved perfection for my wedding day, the photographer is one of, if not the most, important vendor on your wedding day. I cannot thank Tim for everything he has done.

From our engagement photos to our wedding photos, I knew I was in good hands with Tim. He made the shoots easy and fun, and was always so creative. Prior to the wedding he was sure to ask if there were any specific details and shots we wanted, and was open to any of our suggestions. He brought along a second shooter to help capture the day. My bridal party had nothing but good things to say about Tim and that he made taking the pictures fun! I would highly recommend Tim to any looking for a wedding photographer!

When planning the wedding, I knew exactly what type of photography I wanted and instantly found it in TAB Photographic. Upon meeting with Tim, I knew that I didn't have to meet with anyone else because he was the photographer for us. Throughout the first meeting, I felt instantly at ease with him and trusted him in photographing our wedding day, which is a lot coming from me. Tim was always available to answer questions or concerns I had, and always calmed my perfectionist nerves. He is extremely timely in getting your pictures back to you, often giving teasers on his Facebook page.

Tim cares about his clients, which is so evident in everything he does. I was sad to see him leave at the end of the night! Words cannot describe how amazing he is as a person and as a photographer. There is not one picture I do not love... And it's not only because they are my wedding pictures!!

If you are looking for a creative, fun, and professional photographer then look no further! Tim was fantastic to work with from the very beginning when I expressed to him we had a budget we were looking to stay within. From there it only got better. He was timely when responding to questions, open to ideas, incredibly easy to work with, and of course the photos are beautiful!!! I received lots of compliments about our engagement photos and then even more about our wedding photos. The quality of his work is outstanding! He is passionate about what he does, and it shows while he's working. He will deliver innovative and classic photos to capture all the wonderful memories of your wedding day.

Photography was extremely important to me when I was first considering my vendors & budget & I did a lot of searching to find the perfect photographer-& all I can say is, I DID! Tim was extremely responsive from my first email to my last & all of the phone calls & planning in between. He offers high-quality photography with a creative & artistic edge & the images he captured of my husband & I at our engagement session & wedding are absolutely breathtaking. He is flexible, easy & fun(!) to work with.

He created an extremely individualized experience, getting to know my husband & I beforehand, spoke with us about our style, likes, dislikes etc. More than that, he took the time to get to know us, how we photograph, how we look at different angles, etc. before the wedding so the day of getting the perfect shots was stress free. He's also not afraid to give direction-something I love in a photographer-these are pictures I want to look at forever so I appreciate someone who can tell me how to look my best! I am someone who doesn't always love how she looks in photographs, but Tim made me feel beautiful & confident during our engagement shoot & on my wedding day.

I think what makes TAB Photographic so unique is that Tim genuinely cares about the couples he works with. His vibrant personality came out throughout our wedding & at times I felt like he was there just to make sure my husband & I were doing okay, & taking time to look around us and be present. When I needed a moment of calm he made sure I got that, when I needed to laugh he made me laugh, when I got emotional he made sure I was taken care of. Tim is great at reading others & making those around him smile & laugh-even a nervous groom & antsy groomsmen during first look pictures. Tim captured all of our wedding day moments, little & big, & all of the emotions in between. His photographs tell the story of the couple he's shooting & I'm just so happy Tim is who we choose to tell ours.

Tim was amazing! He was responsive, fun, creative, and produced amazing work!

Right from the beginning, Tim was very quick to reply to any email I had to address any concerns or questions. He was also very responsive to any ideas I had and gave great guidance how to make those a reality.

He was also very quick with the pictures! He gave me some guidelines when he expected to be done, and was early for both sets of pictures (engagement and wedding). I had the pictures sitting in my inbox by the time I came back from my honeymoon!

Finally, he is extremely talented. He made myself and my husband look like the best possible versions of ourselves. He also managed to make most of our photos look natural, not staged, and really captured how we interact. He also brought a lot of ideas to the table I loved!

I'm so happy we asked him to shoot our wedding! Our guests and family loved him and he blended into the wedding seamlessly. Most of the time, we barely even noticed he was there, but he managed to capture everything beautifully!

Ok, so I'll start off by saying that I gave Tim 5 stars ONLY because there wasn't an option for 10 stars, or 100, or 1 million. I really could not have asked for a better photographer. He did an outstanding job with our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos and I trusted him 100% with everything. Not only was Tim super professional but he has such a fun-loving, energetic and positive attitude that can (and did) make any bride remember what their wedding day is about, despite any issues that may arise. He took photos of things that I hadn't even thought of -- the small details, which ended up being some of my favorite photos. I think he also got at least one picture of every guest at my wedding, as well. I really couldn't have asked for more and I would give him a glowing recommendation to anyone. My wedding party already wants him to shoot their weddings, even the single ones! Tim really has a gift and he was worth every penny!! Book him now!

Tim was a six star photographer. I would recommend him to any bride. Not only were the photographs beautiful, but Tim was the kindest and most comforting presence in the room. He went above and beyond in every way. He even offered to help out by lighting candles! The video montage he put together of our photos was such a special and wonderful way to remember our wedding. I could tell that he really cared about capturing and presenting our day in a way that we would look back on fondly for the rest of our lives. He was born to be a photographer! I don't even know where to begin. Picking a photographer was a daunting task for me as pictures were the most important memory from our wedding. On a whim, and after reading many outstanding reviews, Tim Brown and I jumped on a phone call with eachother to test the waters. It was a match made in heaven. He is more than a photographer! I am not the girl who likes the standard, posey, kind of lame pictures. He will absolutely want you to pose for some and with a your bridemaids and groomsman and new husband, and he will make those photos look like something out of a fairytale, but he takes it to another level when it comes to whimsical and breathtaking. I like the pictures that captivate a moment...a kiss, a dance, a look. Something not planned or anything that needs to be thought out. I like the pictures of the details....like our rings on the hood ornament of our Rolls Royce! He nails it every time! I literally want to print every picture out of infinite numer of pics that he took and hang them on my walls. That would probably make people think twice about being my friend, after they walk into my house and see pictures OF MYSELF hanging up everywhere! Not a good idea....but I will be putting as many as I can in discrete frames and photo albums and now have Christmas gifts for everyone I have ever cared about. He was professional, funny, easy to work with, on time, quick with pics, etc. I had a LARGE wedding party. 10 groomsmen and 10 bridesmaids. He was able to reel all of these people togehter to take one amazing shot after another. I'm telling you. I have seen A LOT of wedding photos and you won't ever see pictures like the ones that Tim takes. I can't even put it into words. Do yourself a favor and just meet with him and tell him to show you the pics of my wedding if you want to get an idea of what you are in for! These are the most important pictures of your life!

When I first found Tab Photographic I was immediately impressed with Tim website and portfolio. It was exactly the style and creativity I was looking for. The first time Tim and I spoke I knew instantly he was the one. He was so professional but extremely personable. What really stuck out for me was how he dealt with my fear of falling in love with someone’s work but it doesn't always guarantee that my photos would be the same, and Tim's response wasn’t selling himself to me but instead gave me advice that I needed to find someone I trusted and got along great with because the day should be fun and everything will work itself out. Not only was he great on a personal level but professionally he was more than accommodating and flexible, he created a custom package that fit both of our needs, and traveled out of state. Tim also stood out because he was the only one that said, I want to be more than just your wedding photographer, I want to build a relationship and be the one you come to for any future needs. I never got the sense that he was just another vendor trying to make money in a lucrative industry, but someone who genuinely cared and wanted to capture my day. Not only is he extremely talented and creative, he listens, knows how to have a good time, keeps to his word and delivers his work extremely fast! If you are looking for someone who is hard working, fun, talented and has a creative approach, Tim’s your MAN! Tim was such a joy to have around. Every time I felt myself getting nervous, he was always there to make me laugh. I definitely didn’t expect all these extra bonuses of having him around. Still to this day, we are getting compliments on how awesome our pictures are. Without a doubt, I will be using Tim for any future needs. Tim at TAB photographic is absolutely amazing! Where do I even start?? From the moment we found him on wedding wire and reviewed his work on his website, we were hooked! He was exactly what we were looking for and we couldn't be happier with our decision to have him photograph our special day. From the original correspondence to the engagement shoot, meetings and the big day-he made everything so easy and enjoyable for us!! His ideas and talent are just perfect and make for FUN photo shoots as opposed to awkward, posed pictures.
I would highly recommend TAB for anyone looking for a photographer! The service is fantastic and it's really a great experience all around.

Tim was a really fun photographer to work with. If you want someone laid-back, but professional and fun, Tim is your guy. He helped minimize potential problems and made sure the day ran smoothly. The engagement shoot was a great session to get to know Tim more and become more comfortable in front of the camera. Tim's positive energy was contagious. Tim captured the whole day flawlessly, from getting ready to partying at the reception, and he did it with creativity. We were very impressed with the final video slideshow and pictures. We received them the day after we returned from our honeymoon! :)

Our experience with Tim couldn't be better. From the first meeting, we knew he'd be fun to work with, and that he'd help contribute to a fabulous wedding day. Tim was able to come in with fresh ideas and put them in to action. Something I appreciated about Tim was his efficiency in getting pictures taken, and his laid-back, fun-loving attitude. Tim was able to get great bridal party/family pictures before the reception, and was great at keeping people knowing where they needed to be. He was able to sneak us out for quick shots here and there (Tim had previously been outside to check lighting/set up shots so that we didn't have to wait around) - loved that. He also got some great candids and was able to capture the guests having fun throughout the night :) As if hundreds of pictures wasn't enough, we have a video slideshow that takes us through the entire day with carefully-picked background music. We LOVE the final results and couldn't be happier with Tim's work. Thank you, TAB Photographic!!

What I especially love about TAB Photographic are the uniqueness and quality of the images. The images have an artistic feel to them versus traditional pictures of other photographers! Tim is the most amazing photographer to work with. End of story. If you need more I guess I can go on! We got married June 22, 2013 and could not be happier with our choice of TAB Photographic! From our engagement shoot ( he gave our lab a tennis ball he still uses) to our wedding Tim had us laughing and feeling comfortable. Since we aren't professional models that's important!! Three words quickly come to mind when I think of Tim Brown of TAB Photographic: Creative, Quirky, Quality.

Tim is one of the most creative photographers I have ever come across. In fact, I liked his work so much that I recommended him to friends and colleagues who were getting married even before I was engaged, knowing that I would surely go to him for our someday wedding photos!

He is also really quirky; he constantly made my now-husband and I laugh as he threw in zingers or just made funny faces between shots during our kinda-last-minute engagement session and on the big day. He makes his clients immediately feel comfortable, and that's huge, especially when so many things are flying through your mind, and, let's face it, posing in front of a camera can sometimes make you feel anxious or awkward. Tim makes you forget about the awkwardness as soon as you get going. In fact, he makes you feel like a mini celebrity while never, ever being intrusive.

Lastly, I can't speak more highly of the quality of his work. It's beyond obvious that Tim loves what he does, and what's even better is that he's really, truly amazing at it. He lets you know if you look weird in a shot (and tells you how to look better--"Put that arm on your hip!"), and he captures moments you perhaps didn't see yourself (because you were in it). Additionally, he has the ability to make everyday objects, surroundings, or even body parts look stunning.

I have recommended him before, I went with him myself, and I will continue to recommend him in the future. If a picture is worth a thousand words, word-of-mouth advertising--at least for TAB Photographic--is priceless. He's. That. Good.

We absolutely loved working with Tim at TAB Photographic. The first time we met with him, we felt completely comfortable and knew we wanted him to be a part of our day. He has a fun, laid-back personality. He's very professional when it came to our big day. Everything moved so smoothly and he was great when working with our families. The search for a photographer in CT can be arduous, to say the least. Tim was the best of all worlds. He offered the flexibility that allowed us to send great save the dates within a short time frame. He respects the "tradition" of weddings, yet infuses the perfect amount of humor and perspective. The very best part of working with Tim is his never ending energy and excitement. Emails are answered promptly, Tim goes out of his way to make the process and day easy and relaxed. All this would be useless if the product was mediocre, however, not only did we receive our pictures while we were still on our honeymoon, but they are nothing short of amazing!!! Tim was absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a photographer that combines traditional shots with your entire family/bridal party, and artsy, photojournalistic type shots, you have found your photographer! The entire week the weather forecast predicted rain for our beach wedding. He calmed me down and had me envisioning shots with awesome umbrellas where now I'm kinda sad it didn't rain. (kinda, haha)

Starting with the getting ready shots, he was amazing. He captured moments where I had no clue that he was even around, like me helping my MOH clip her earring in the bathroom. He hid behind my dress hanging up and got a picture of us in the mirror. My flower girl is the shy-est girl in the entire world, won't talk to anyone she doesn't know, and by the time we were done getting ready, he had her smiling, cheesing, and sticking her tongue out for the camera. He got an amazing shot of her watching my MOH lace up my dress. I cried when I saw it.

He left a little before we did and got all the details of our reception, and captured priceless moments of all the guys. My husband kept saying he missed all of his crazy ninja moves Tim must have done to get all the shots he got during the ceremony and before.

During our picture taking hour, he seamlessly got all the family shots done, quickly, moving people in and out of the frame. He got some amazing group shots on rocks overlooking the water. The lighting was perfect, and he captured magic, absolute magic. During the reception he saw an amazing opportunity with the lighting breaking through the clouds, and pulled us outside, and once again, captured magic. He captured shots that I have no clue how he got. I never knew he was there. For example, at the end of the night my husband and I went into the photobooth we had rented, and while we were taking pictures straight on, he had climbed up and was taking the same pictures from above!!!!!!! Never knew he was there.

I could go on and on and on about how amazing Tim is. I know of 2 people that already want to use him based just on his energy, and personality at the wedding. Do yourself a favor and contact Tim. You will be so glad you did. You won't regret it!!

We LOVED working with Tim for our wedding!! He is very upbeat, funny and personable, and helped put the whole wedding party at ease (especially the kids). The quality of the pictures is outstanding, and will be treasured for years to come!
We really liked that fact that Tim was not "in your face" all night. You never knew where he was, and he was able to get outstanding pictures that were not staged or fake looking.
I cannot say enough about the positive experience we had and would give TAB Photographic more stars if I was able!! If you want pictures that will truley "ROCK", look no further!!

Tim was absolutely fabulous and I'm sure I can't say enough good things about him! We worked with him to photograph our 4th of July wedding extravaganza and his creative eye was exactly what I was looking for. I didn't want the old stand by poses, etc. and he offered oodles of creativity. He is very easy to talk to, super flexible and he blended right in to the crowd as if he was a long lost friend. He captured shots that I wouldn't have thought of that I loved and laughed at right along side of shots I had requested. All of our guests loved him and everyone loved the end results. We hope that he had as much fun with us as we had with him and we're looking forward to working with Tim again in the future.

Tim Brown was a great choice for our wedding Photographer. He came all the way out to Nantucket for out engagement photo shoot. He was so thoughtful when it came to everything from being on time to making adjustments to the photo "packages" to fit exactly what we were looking for. Most importantly, he was able to really capture the whole vibe of the day of our wedding. He really got it all! When the impromptu photo booth came out at the reception we were so excited! Thank you for making our moments that day last forever..

Look no further! Tim Brown from TAB Photographic is it! He does it all! We LOVE him! He is a talented artist! During our wedding my husband and I would refer to him as the photo-ninja! You'd see him, then he would disappear! He got every important shot and some others you never knew he caught. He was never in the way of anyone~he blended right in! Also, he is super funny and put us at ease right away. We could always get ahold of him and he always kept his word. We even took part of a charity event he did and we got some great photos of our doggie, Coco! What can I say, he is the BEST!

TAB Photographic is amazing!!! Really, you can stop searching now and just pick Tim. Not only is he funny, charismatic, and personable but he is also great at taking pictures! :) Tim's work speaks for itself, he has such a creative eye and a keen sense of beauty. After scouring the internet and closely examining multiple photographers I decided to meet Tim. I loved his work and he was extremely affordable, especially for the quality of his work. This alone would sell most on a photographer but after meeting him I knew he would be the perfect person to capture all the moments of our special day. Tim's personality sets him apart from other photographers. Almost all of my guests continue to rave about how amazing my photographer was and are in great anticipation to see the pictures. Tim is patient, friendly, and above all very professional. One of my fears was that one photographer alone wouldn't be able to capture all the moments. Well, somehow Tim put on his superhero pants and was there for everything. He is very organized, efficient, and great at directing people for the formal shots, making it quick and painless. He even managed to round up 160 people for a group shot, not an easy task at all. This coupled with my ongoing bad luck with rain (it rained both on the day of engagement pictures and wedding) proves how impressive TAB Photographic really is. One thing I learned from Tim was not to let the rain stop you. We did our formal pictures outdoors, despite the rain, and they are breathtaking. Tim's creativity, professionalism, and personality make him the trifecta for anyone's wedding. Where to begin? I believe I found Tab Photographic- Tim right here on WeddingWire as one of the top photographers in CT. I jumped to his website and completely fell in love with his work!!!! the music dragged me in as well because I love that song :) So I kept him as a possibilty for certain but was on a tight budget- you get to late 30's with retired parents and well- you pay almost everything! So I asked around a couple of other photographers that were referred to me and the prices were outrageous! So I ended up meeting with someone who was just going out on their own and got some pricing. Frankly, the personaliy did not click with me and I love taking pictures too and they looked like something I would take (and I am not a pro!). I immediately called Tim the next day on the hope that JUST maybe the pricing would not be so bad because I really really loved his work!!!! well- my wedding was 4/8/2011 and that is the off season so it fit right in with my budget!!!! I was sooooo happy! I could not believe it and to boot I just loved speaking with Tim on the phone and his personality shined through- I knew he was the photographer I just HAD to have shoot our wedding!! (I already knew that by just looking at his website - HA! and the personality was definitely an added bonus!) sooo! he took us up all over the place for our engagement pictures- corn fields and resevoirs and no shoes!!! LOVED it and I loved the pictures! He is an amazingly outragously talented artist- I say artist because he is not just a photographer who goes around clicking pictures! anyone can grab a camera and take some photos- he captures every moment - every emotion- I cry every time I look at my wedding photos! He will also calm you, encourage you and also LISTEN to you- he hears everything you say and takes it in- then it shows in every picture!! He knew my mom had passed and that I was having a hard time with it so he made sure he took pictures of her remembrance candle and photo at the church and he even took one I had out in the reception hall!! Tim has the most amazing personality- I felt like I knew him for years when we first talked on the phone! Seriously- look absolutely no further and be aware- HURRY - he books up really fast!!!! Let me join in on the rave reviews of Tim at TAB Photographic! From our initial consultation through our wedding, and now that we’ve received our photos, my husband and I felt 100% confident and thrilled with our decision.

The pictures speak for themselves. His artistic eye is wonderful; he not only captures the events of the day but the entire vibe and energy of it all. We laughed and cried all over again while looking through the pictures. A common statement was, “holy crap, that’s US!” They are truly beautiful pictures. He also created the most amazing slide show that was totally beyond our expectations. It the perfect combination of stills and video and set to a beautiful song that matched our personalities.

What I want to really reinforce is how amazing it is to actually work with Tim. His positive attitude spreads to everyone -- wedding party, family, and guests! He was unobtrusive during the ceremony but captured everything, easily corralled our wedding party and families for the portraits, captured the little moments when we thought no one was looking, and was really a part of the wedding rather than a paid vendor. As others mentioned, by the end of the night, our guests wanted to take pictures with him!

Do yourself a favor, stop obsessing over the google searches and just call Tim. You will be so very happy that you did.

I am an NYC Fashion Design Recruiter...laymen's terms translates to finding people who create beautiful things. I love what I do and confident enough to say - I'm pretty good at it. But on my wedding day, for the first time in my life, I was forced to relinquish that creative control and pass the baton to someone else. Enter my exceptionally talented wedding photographer, Tim Brown owner of TAB Photographic. I stepped back and he stepped into my mind and with his magical tools he captured me and my husband exactly the way I see us...happy, laughing, goofy, crazy, intense, loved and in love and most importantly - as ourselves. Tim's disposition is unmatched. Talented goes without saying but he far exceeded our expectations. He is a fun and funny, positive, an innovative creative genious who only adds to the excitment of the day without stealing the intimacy from those special moments. I could certainly continue with a litany of great facts about him and create a dissertation but I will leave it at this. Tim was professional and incredibly easy to get a long with. He made our day so much less stressful! My husband and I absolutely love Tim. From the first meeting we had with him, we knew he was our guy. His pictures are amazing! I am a graphic designer, and being in the art field I didn't wasnt your generic formal wedding photos. I love the way he captures the moment in a very artsy way. We just got our photos from our wedding last week and our wedding was less than 2 months ago! We are extremely happy with our pictures, there are so many we want to buy! Tim was excellent from the beginning. He was able to work with our needs (financially and photographically). We communicated easily through e-mail numerous times. The wedding was a blast and Tim was there for every moment that we wanted and then some. The pictures were online within a month and we received them shortly after.

Tim was an amazing photographer for our wedding. He not only took amazing photos, he was able to simultaneously corral guests to pose for priceless photos at our photo booth and we hardly noticed his presence. He is very laid back but still professional. All in all, we cannot recommend him enough.

Tim from (TAB Photographic) was more than we could have asked for. He made us feel like more like friends from day one than client/vendor. Tim was the only wedding photographer that we had met with and knew that he was the one. His photography is different, unique and spectacular! My husband wanted the more traditional photos and I wanted more out of the box photos and Tim made sure we were both happy! We have received so many compliments on his photos! Tim was AMAZING! His pictures were phenomenal and he was the only person we spoke to who was willing to make a package around our needs and budget. It was nice to have someone understand how much money this was to us, even though it might not have been a lot for wedding photography which is really high priced generally. He made faces with my two year old nephew to get him to laugh, was patient with getting all the shots various people wanted, and just made everyone feel very comfortable. His second shooter was great as well and again both were fun and flexible. Hire them!!!

When we were first thinking about choosing a photographer for our wedding, a friend recommended we have a look at Tim's work. So glad we did! Working with Tim was an absolute pleasure! From the day we met him he was so kind and actually cared about us and our day, not just booking an event. Leading up to the wedding Tim was always in contact with us asking if we were all set and offering help with anything we might need. Tim Brown is not only an incredible photographer, he is an incredible person. He insisted that he arrive early enough to capture all the "getting ready" photos, and stayed well into the night. Tim was the most important vendor we hired for our wedding, hands down. Photography was our number 1 priority and the longest search but once we found Tim we knew we had hit the jackpot. Tim meshed with our personalities right away, made us laugh and feel comfortable, was open-minded and enthusiastic about our somewhat off-beat and pretty non-traditional wedding ideas, and listened intently to and followed through on our requirements of him. We asked him to corral all our wedding guests for a group shot and he stood on top of a massive ladder to get them, now some of our favorite shots of the day. We asked him to capture a fast-moving post-reception football game, and he stood under an umbrella in a tree to get THOSE awesome shots. He captured, in brilliantly bright color and his up-close and personal style that we love so much, all the nuances and glances and laughter from our wedding day. He made everyone there look like models without making us feel uncomfortable posing, he offered to be the bride's team's secret weapon during the football game, and he charmed everyone - guests young and old. All while somehow staying inconspicuous and out of the way. We barely saw him, yet he saw it all. Not to mention, in the year+ we worked with him (yeah, we booked over a year in advance, it was important) he helped keep me, the bride, calm and made me feel listened to, appreciated and confident that all would be well. And of course, it was. Thanks for it all, Tim. :)

Tim is AMAZING to work with! He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable with him long before the big day, which makes wedding day that much more enjoyable. His work speaks for itself .... we were absolutely thrilled with the hundreds of photos he took of our wedding, and we have received so many compliments on his work. In our eyes, the photographer is the most important choice of the wedding (except for choosing to marry each other!) ... they capture the physical memories of your day and are what you will look back on fondly. Tim was great. Super funny. If you are one who is uncomfortable with photos, he will definitely make you feel comfortable and happy during your wedding day! Make sure you emphasize the photos you want, if you have specifics. But other than that he is great and fun to have at your wedding!

We were happy with most of our photos but there were a few things that could have been done better. We wish there was some more thoughts in the staging and people. When we look back on these photos, a good amount of our guests are not even photographed. Overall, he is a good photographer with a fun personality which makes him easy to work with.

We booked Tim for our June Wedding. At our first meeting, we were very excited and knew he was our guy. Our engagement shoot was Oct/Nov (can't remember) it went well- there was a bunch of photos we liked. Wedding Day, Tim and his assistant for the day showed up- We were almost done getting ready before he showed so we didn't get any before pictures of my bridesmaids and I in our robes. Not a big deal, but was a little disappointed. Then after the wedding, it was a rush to go get pictures done after the ceremony. We had to hike into these tall weeds with vines (one of my bridemaid's dress ripped on the bottom-again no big deal) but when I got the pictures back I was not impressed at all. I got married on a tree farm and would have much preferred to take pictures with my bridesmaids/groomsmen by the trees instead of off to the side. ( I trusted Tim's experience and knowledge that these pictures would "rock" and be the ones I wanted. it wasn't and I don't even like them.) There was one shot down by a barn that I had definitely wanted. (it was about a mile down from the Overlook -a windy dirt gravel road, but I had seen couples take this shot before and I absolutely loved it) When I told Tim, he dismayed it 1st. But then during the middle of the wedding he said ok, lets go get your shot by the barn. I joked and said well we aren't walking down there are we? We said he had no room in his car to take us and was sort of rude. ( I hadn't planned this through, but I know for a fact that his assistant had an empty car and could have easily taken us.) Needless to say, I didn't get the shot. Then as the night progressed, the sun was just starting to go down, he took about 3 more shots of us "night shots" and left. Didn't get any photos near the fire pit/true night hrs. It took about 6 wks for us to get our photos back. We received a two week live link. Suppose to get thank you cards, a usb with all photos in color + B/W, and still nada. Don't even like my pics!

Horrible communication

Honestly before the wedding and during Tim was awesome to work with. Communication was great, he was friendly and fun while taking pictures for our wedding, but unfortunately after the wedding that all changed. I gave Tim 4 months before I even reached out to him because I knew 2021 was a busy year for weddings and didn’t mind, even though our contract stated we’d get our photos and highlight video back in 8 weeks. I reached out multiple times before hearing back and would go weeks without hearing back from Tim. We finally got our photos back after 6 months, but still have not received our highlight video back and I am not able to get in touch with Tim yet again. It’s unfortunate because his photos are great, but the communication and not responding is unacceptable especially since we paid him in full for both before the wedding.

Unresponsive

The day of the event went off without a hitch. Wish I could say the same about the follow up afterwards. After waiting about 9 months for my pictures, it has now been almost two years and I still have not received my complete video. Excuse after excuse. If I knew that right after my wedding I would receive barely any contact or severely late delivery having him shoot my wedding just isnt worth it.
What makes it worse... I'm not the only one. This happened to two other people that I know of.

**Over 13 months later, I still have not received my album or a date when I will receive it. Tim is also not returning my phone calls. I am very disappointed.

I had Tim from when this business was TAB photographic

I booked this vendor back when they were under the name TAB photographic. My wedding was in August of 2021. When I booked I was informed I would receive raw and edited photos. a usb drive or the photos and permanent access to the website. Well no usb, lost access to the website, no response from Tim for months (now years) I am missing MANY photos that were posed for and overall about to seek legal action. I was Tims last wedding, but the lack of professionalism I received AFTER the wedding was baffling. I have email threads of attempted outreach for the missing photos and now that the website is closed out for the few photos I did have (about 250ish) I am warning people to be cautious.

Disappeared

We hired this photographer for our wedding. Months ahead of time he said he wouldn’t be able to make it but could send his assistant or return our deposit. We said assistant was fine and then asked to be connected with them. We then never heard back from him. By a couple months before the wedding we became very uneasy and asked for our deposit back instead because we needed to find a different reliable photographer. We left emails, phone messages, texts, and social media messages and he ignored all of them. We eventually needed to threaten legal action to get our deposit returned. At that point he replied and claimed he didn’t received any messages.
I would not recommend.

I booked Tim for my wedding on 10/9 and thought he was fabulous and creative. I loved his work and thought my wedding photography was going to "rock". We made an appointment to have our engagement photos done. It took Tim a long time to even get back to me to book an appointment. So my fiancee and I went..we were there for 30 minutes, 10 of those minutes were spent by him setting up. So never having an engagement session done I thought this was normal. We received the pictures a week after and out of 44( yes only 44) pictures we only liked 2, I was disappointed and wanted to know what the deal was? I understand no ones perfect and everyone has an off day, I get that. I wrote him an email explaining that I was concerned. He basically told me to take it or leave it, but to let him know ASAP (so he could book someone else I assume) I was totally shocked, this is not what I expected from someone so highly recommended and not too mention someone I liked! Might I mention also we had already submitted our deposit.I was so hurt by this whole thing I just couldn't imagine having him there on my day. When I explained to him we were going to have to go with another photographer he never wrote back, I never saw any of my deposit. We were totally unsatisfied with his work as well as his business savvy. A warning to brides he has other ventures that hes currently working on that seem to take precedence over his wedding clients...I feel bad writing this but I just don't want what happened to me to happen to others..He was supposed to be an awesome photographer, he just wasn't awesome for us...our photography definitely did not "rock" and neither did the photographer...unfortunately

I will post a review when Tim completes my wedding album. I've been waiting several months since submitting to him our pictures for our album. Tim refuses to respond to both phone and email messages.

I would never recommend him to anyone.
