  Joanna Was Amazing!

  We loved working with Joanna as our wedding photographer. She has such a great eye for the natural light and knew how to pose us well based on the light. We can’t thank her enough for all of her hard work throughout our wedding day and capturing all of our special moments on camera.

  Amazing Experience!

  Joanna was such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end! She works with your budget and shows up prepared. She did an amazing job with our engagement/family photos and and was just as great the day of our wedding if not more. She came with a list and left nothing out. If you’re looking for someone sweet, amazing, organized and stress free Joanna is the one! She also produced our photos SO quickly!! Highly recommend.

  I had a hard time picking a photograph for our wedding , but when I called Joann it was a Instant connection on the phone she was funny and made me feel amazing. Once I gone through my list honestly it was a NO Brainer SHE WAS THE ONE!!. She is very fixable and makes you feel so comfortable during your pictures.

  I love her work!

  I needed graduation pictures and Jojo was able to give me more than I have anticipated for!!! Her work is absolutely amazing and I absolutely fell in love! She was very quick to respond to questions I had. She also provided me with multiple suggestions prior to the photoshop and during the session she made me feel very comfortable!!! I am a newbie when it comes to taking professional photos and she comfortable in my own body and gave me several ways to position myself! I highly recommend her to everyone!

  Excellent!!!

  I am so happy with the service we received! I was induced 3 weeks early and only received a few days notice before the induction and I messaged about 20 photographers on Facebook located near me that had nice work posted and she was on of the first to get back to me AND be available. Everything was so fast and easy. She took our maternity pictures with my daughter and my 2yo son (who does not like taking pictures) and she still managed to get some great shots of us as a family and of my kids alone. I’m also usually a little awkward when it comes to taking pictures of myself but she knew every possible pose that would look nice and made me feel so comfortable. Not only did the pictures turn out amazing but she also had the pictures ready the next day!! It is clear she has a passion for what she does and she is very talented! I can’t wait for our next session!

  My fiancé and I were put in a difficult situation when we had to let go of our previous photographer for our wedding just a couple months before the big event. We looked at several photographers and what felt like hundreds of galleries. When we were down to our final four, it was hard for us to make a firm decision, as we were cautious due to the previous bad experience that we had just gone through with the other photographer. Then my fiancé told me “so no to JoJo or did you like her stuff”? I was like. “Who is JoJo? I’ve never seen Jojo’s photos”. It gets a little confusing when you’re looking at several images, to keep them all straight. Immediately after seeing Joanna’s photos, our top 4 got tossed to the side and we knew at that moment we found our photographer :)
  
  
  We spoke on the phone with Joanna and she was super friendly and had answers to all of our questions, and had more to share with us that we didn’t think of. We met Joanna at Knights Ferry for our engagement shoot, which is a must (very cool place that she suggested). Joanna was the sweetest person and, this time It felt to us like we were with a real professional. She was constantly helping us get into position, making sure hair wasn’t in my fiancé’s face. Making sure the lighting was just right before snapping shots. She was in her element, and we couldn’t be happier with how this session went!
  
  
  After we parted ways. We were biting our nails waiting to see what we would get in our gallery (after the last disaster with the previous photographer) lol but when that email hit, we stopped what we were doing and went through every image and a huge weight was lifted. We were given the most beautiful pictures and couldn’t be happier. We will FINALLY have good pictures of us hanging in our house that weren’t taken from an iPhone lol.

  To give some background information on our personal experience, we spoke to about 40 photographers after being dissatisfied with our initial engagement session with another photographer (after a very detailed and professional conversation about our concerns and a redo on the engagement session, again, with a different photog). I am very selective, picky, and critical to be blunt. Joanna was immediately responsive, answered all of our questions, sent us samples and more samples, and we loved her work and were confident in our change. With less than two months to go for the wedding, which we planned every small detail of for 18 months, she was immediately on board and developed an individualized package for us for our specific needs and wants. She took the time to get to know us and learn about us, stayed in touch, and did exactly what she promised for us and more. Joanna brought her talented and equally sweet daughter as the second photog and their chemistry was great. They definitely knew what they were doing. We love our pictures and the Lemus family!

  Joanna was absolutely amazing and we couldn't be happier with our experience working with her. Our photos were so beautiful and truly captured the most special moments. Joanna brought such a great energy and had a way of making us feel totally comfortable in front of the camera. She gave just the right amount of direction to keep things moving along, and maintained her composure through all the chaos. We were also super impressed with how quickly she was able to get us our photos - that was the icing on the cake.   After spending almost two months trying to find a photographer, I started to panic (literally)! I knew I was running out of time and needed to find one asap. I was given a list of photographers within our budget to choose from but none of them had the style I was looking for. I am (very) picky!!! I don't understand much about lens, cameras, etc. but I do see the difference in each photographer's style. I wanted photos with light and natural colors, bright, natural pastel colors, romantic, and magical. Photos showing our real self. I found Sweet JoJo here on Wedding Wire on a very late night (like 2am) when I couldn't sleep. As soon as I found her here I quickly checked her Instagram + Website and with no doubt I emailed her! In the next morning I was so anxious thinking of "and if she is not available on my wedding day?" ... ...
  Well, last week we had our engagement session photos and I couldn't be happier with the results. My pictures are absolutely gorgeous! It is a pleasure to work with Joanna, she is a great professional and one of the sweetest person I have met! She made us feel comfortable and we had so much fun during the session.   Joanna with Sweet JoJo Photography was absolutely the best decision I made with my wedding and I was happy with all my vendors. Joanna is so personable and makes everyone feel comfortable and natural when it comes to getting photographed. Although, there are a lot of pictures taken on a wedding day, Joanna makes it fun and unforgettable. Literally unforgettable, because she captures every moment through her lens and she captures it beautifully. All my bridesmaids were so impressed by Joanna and her second photographer, Madison. I couldn't have asked for a better team than these two.
  
  A few days after my wedding Joanna sent me a slideshow video with some sneak peek pictures from our wedding. It was the best surprise we could get while on our honeymoon. The slideshow was BEAUTIFUL and brought us so much happiness. In addition, Joanna will make a blog of your wedding day and its so fun to relive your special day just a few days after your actual wedding day.   Joanna with Sweet JoJo Photography was absolutely the best decision I made with my wedding and I was happy with all my vendors. Joanna is so personable and makes everyone feel comfortable and natural when it comes to getting photographed. Although, there are a lot of pictures taken on a wedding day, Joanna makes it fun and unforgettable. Literally unforgettable, because she captures every moment through her lens and she captures it beautifully. All my bridesmaids were so impressed by Joanna and her second photographer, Madison.   A few days after my wedding Joanna sent me a slideshow video with some sneak peek pictures from our wedding. It was the best surprise we could get while on our honeymoon.   We absolutely LOVED working with Joanna and Madison during our engagement photo session.   Joanna did an amazing job for our wedding! She visited the church a few weeks in advance to scope the sight and plan the special scenes. Excellent planner, very creative, punctual, reasonable pricing and most importantly she is very professional. Highly recommend her to any couple getting married.

  Joanna has been such a wonderful photographer throughout our wedding planning process thus far. From the moment we initially contacted her, she has been following up with us and checking in to make sure that we are doing well or have any additional questions. She even was kind enough to come up and meet with us so that we did not have to drive down to the location where we will be getting married.
  
  We had our engagement session, which went so much better than either of us would have ever imagined! She helped us to feel comfortable and to just be ourselves during the session, and it helped to ensure we did not feel as though we were posing.
  
  Once we received the images, which was only a week later, we were absolutely blown away! Everything turned out so well and we had a hard time even narrowing down our favorites. We used those photos on our Save the Dates as well as our website, and have received so many compliments! Both our families love how they turned out, and we were able to give them prints as Christmas gifts too.

  Sweet Jojo photography was brought to our attention by my brother and his fiancee. They spoke very highly of Joanna and Madison and boy were they right. I had my first meeting with Joanna and immediately fell in love with her bubbly personality and willingness to do anything to capture the perfect moment. I also found her to be very comforting and non-intimidating. I knew that was important since my fiance and myself are a little camera shy. We decided that we would book her for our engagement photos as well as our wedding.
  
  We wanted to take our engagement photos in Lake Tahoe and Joanna was all for it. Joanna and Madison met up with us in Tahoe and found the perfect place to take pictures. Joanna even had all my engagement photo ideas from Pinterest on her phone which we were able to capture. Joanna and Madison work so well together, feeding off each other to get the perfect picture. Some of our favorite photos were the candid moments they captured. We ended up staying a little later than planned and not once did Joanna make us feel rushed. That amazed us since you usually don't get that kind of quality and attention.
  
  When we received our engagement photos we were in shock at how amazing they turned out. Not only were we in love with them, but all our friends and family were too. My future mother-in-law was so impressed how Joanna was able to capture our personalities in the photos. Our wedding isn't until January 2016, but we are thrilled and excited to work with Joanna and Madison again.
