Sunriver is a beautiful and accommodating venue to book your big day! Truly, from the coordinating, setup, chef & staff, bar service and support team, everyone was above and beyond amazing. Our main point of contacts were Kelly & Shelby and they did everything to align our special day to a dream setting in working with our vendors. They went above and beyond to personalize and make it real for us. The food was phenomenal, everything was delicious and the portions were fantastic, our guests are still talking about it. The bar & wait staff was so AMAZING and streamlined so all our guest were covered at all times. Our vendors were treated amazing. In general, only have great things to say, this venue is naturally beautiful and provides so many options for your big day and the staff truly made it so easy to align, highly recommend this venue!

Beautiful place, very competent & experienced staff, smooth coordination with the rest of the vendor team. Takes a lot of the stress off of the day knowing that everyone has it together. Moved the ceremony for rain, & it turned out better than had the weather been clear. Looking forward to having anniversaries here in years to come. Thanks for all of the work involved with providing a great experience for ourselves & our guests!

Sunriver and the Staff at the Resort and The Great hall were unbelievable. We are so happy and honored to work with them on our daughter's wedding.

It was an absolute pleasure to receive a venue tour from Kelly S. She answered every question we threw her way with ease, was timely in her coordination and communication, and was patient and accommodating with our accidental lateness. While we didn't end up moving forward with the location, favoring something closer to home in California, I can only imagine how pleasant it would be to work with her and the staff at Sunriver, as her hosting was flawless in execution.

I couldn’t be more glad that we had our wedding at Sunriver Resort. I was grateful to be working with them from the start, but when the pandemic started, I became even more so. They took such great care of us and were so understanding of what we were going through. We had several conversations with Lindsay and Lynne while we were trying to decide how to handle it, and they were nothing but supportive. When we decided to postpone, they made the transition painless, and from there working with Lynne was awesome. She was so helpful answering all of our questions and coming up with creative solutions and back up plans. She helped us deal with the uncertainty and constant change that came with planning a wedding during a pandemic. I could tell she genuinely cared about our wedding and was dedicated to making sure it was wonderful. When the day came, the venue was gorgeous, the food was amazing (everyone raved about it), and everything was done safely and smoothly. They are so on top of safety protocols that we didn’t have to worry about anything, but at the same time none of the safety measures took away from the experience of our wedding. The staff were all friendly and professional and everything went wonderfully. I’m so grateful for everyone at Sunriver who worked on our wedding and for how well the team is handling pandemic weddings in general. I can’t recommend them enough!

My daughter and her fiance chose Sunriver pre-pandemic because of the beautiful Great Hall and the excellent reviews of the food. We contracted for a November 2020 wedding. Several weeks later COVID surfaced as a commonly understood threat and, well, the rest is history! A history we are still living! Over the following year, Lynne Cahill and the staff at Sunriver worked with us, guided us, supported us, contemplated with us, commiserated with us, and shared our journey through the unknown to the ultimate rescheduled wedding on March 13, 2021. Along the way, there were so many changes, so many uncertainties, so many decisions to be made and made again as the COVID situation shifted. Although we couldn't have known what was to come, I am profoundly grateful that we chose Sunriver as our venue. My daughter and I always felt that Lynne and the staff were working with us as a team and had our backs. They were adaptable, responsive, creative, level-headed, and up-to-date on current COVID regulations and trends. As our family struggled through the year, our constant mantra was "Thank goodness we're working with Sunriver!" The well-considered and implemented safety protocols meant that our limited number of guests felt secure at the venue and on site -- while the confident, and positive attitude of the staff created a relaxed atmosphere. Structural elements and protocols required for safety are stylishly implemented, minimizing any sense of compromise or oppression. The result was that my daughter managed to have the "wedding of her dreams", despite all of the alterations and adjustments! The guests raved about the food, complimented the smooth flow and seamless organization of the evening, and reported having a fantastic time! And for the bride and groom, the staff has multiple special touches in place to make them feel taken care of and special. The reviews on the internet make clear that Sunriver is an excellent wedding venue, which is why we chose them. But to be able to maintain that excellence during a year such as this last one is an impressive accomplishment. We will be forever grateful for our choice and to Lynne and the staff for helping to create such a fantastic experience and memory for my daughter, her groom, and our family and friends.

We had the most wonderful wedding thanks to Alli & Wendy who made sure every detail was beyond expectations. The resort had amazing ambience, the food was like being at a 5 star dinnerhouse, and the servers made sure every detail and request was perfect. Sunriver Resort held special significance to my daughter and her fiancé because they had individually spent family vacations there growing up. We are from out of state but knew the Great Hall, with its rustic beauty, was the perfect setting the moment we walked in. We started secretly plotting with Sheila even before the engagement happened! In all it was a 2.5 year journey to the wedding date and we got to know the venue and staff well along the way. From day one they immediately responded to all our crazy questions and special requests. They helped us plan not only the wedding day but the entire week! They made time for us every time we came into town to vacation and plan for the big day. When COVID hit and our plans needed to change, Sunriver staff helped us navigate all the challenges. While we were all in un-chartered waters and businesses were hurting, Sunriver only became more generous and remained 100% client focused. We were particularly struck by their compassion, constant up-front communication, flexibility, creativity, concern for our guests, and outstanding working relationship with our vendors. They were personally invested in creating the experience my daughter dreamed of, even if it needed to look a little different than where we started. With all the curve balls thrown our way, the wedding week was magic, and it would not have happened without the personal commitment of Lynne, Lindsay, McCauly, Wendy, Liz, every reservation agent and the entire Sunriver staff. We are eternally grateful! As we drove away from the resort the day after the wedding, I opened my coffee cup from Starbucks to find a heart in the foam, and I smiled at the gesture! Everyone gave us the VIP treatment til the day we left, and we will miss our connection to them. The Sunriver team feels like part of our family, and we will look forward to celebrating more life events at Sunriver.

Everyone has experienced the craziness of 2020; however, Lynne and the wonderful staff at Sunriver Resort made my daughter and her new husband forget all that for one day on November 2, 2020. My daughter had planned to get married in Yosemite National Park on June 18 and then November 2 in Yosemite. When it became obvious that couldn’t happen we changed venues last minute to the The Great Hall at the Sunriver Resort in October. Lynne and the staff not only made this possible last minute, they made it perfect! My daughter and her husband describe the day as unforgettably perfect. It was truly their dream wedding day. I can’t say enough about how accommodating, flexible and easy the staff was to work with. This is a beautiful venue with incredible staff. Thank you Sunriver Resort!

2 years to the day from meeting my husband, we walked down the aisle to say ‘I do’.

Planning a wedding in 2020 was unexpectedly challenging and curveballs from Covid to Oregon Fires were just unpredictable. The team at Sunriver went above and beyond to continue to help us through it all and we continued with our wedding as planned. Wendy Collins was incredible and made our wedding into one of the most magical days ever!

Our family and friends saw what a beautiful venue and day they helped to create for us and above all else, how happy we were. They saw the joy in my Husband's and my eye as we first saw everything decorated and laid out, to dancing on the dance floor with friends and eating s’mores outside (highly recommend adding this - adults and kids LOVED this!).

We love that we are only a few hours away as Sunriver is now even more dear to our heart and we can not wait to come back. We look forward to the future and one day bringing our children - showing them the gorgeous location in which my Husband and I said I do.

We are so happy we chose Sunriver Resort - and thankful that they are now apart of our wedding memories.

Lynn Cahill made us feel as if we were the only wedding she had. She was so creative, organized, responsive and kind. Her attention to detail and ability to be warm and thoughtful made our experience so much fun! Even though we got cancelled twice due to Covid, she went above and beyond to be sure we were taken care of. Lynn is a true professional and made my son and daughter in laws wedding more than he could have ever dreamed of. I highly recommend Sunriver for anyone truly wanting a total dream experience. Lynn even picked up my calls at her doctor appointment and while taking son to school! She was there for us heart and soul! It was a very gut wrenching time and she made it possible. I’m forever grateful!

12/10 would highly recommend Sunriver resort! We had our micro wedding there in September 2020 and it was an absolute dream. Wendy the coordinator was so quick to respond, always gave me all the answers I need and was very friendly. The staff was super helpful and was very nice. The venue, oh my goodness, it’s beautiful! We got married on the lawn and had our reception in the ballroom. It’s so dreamy in there. The wood and lights with the fireplace! It’s amazing. I’m extremely happy with my wedding and the planning process with Sunriver. They were very accommodating to any changes I wanted- example was we wanted to add individual cheese plates (Covid) and they let us, also, Im not a fan of many desserts so they accommodated me with cookies. It silly to be excited about cookies, but when it’s your wedding you still want something sweet! Book this venue, it’s worth it!!!

We were married at The Great Hall of the Sunriver Resort on 10/10/2020 and it was absolutely everything we could have hoped for. We felt so taken care of from the staff, specifically our day-of coordinator Lynne. Lynne went above and beyond to make sure that everything went according to plan. She was always thinking ahead and was ready to tackle any details that we'd forgotten about. She let us fully embrace the chaos of the wedding week without feeling any stress or panic. She is a saint.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. We were able to have a somewhat minimally decorated wedding because everything that is included with the package really takes care of the big items. The space itself is so naturally beautiful that it really doesn't need much added to it. Overall, our experience working with Sunriver was overwhelmingly positive, even considering the changes that had to be made with the pandemic. They were incredibly flexible and willing to work with us to make sure our day was everything we'd been planning over the course of our 2 1/2 year engagement. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is searching for a natural and rustic themed venue. Sunriver holds a special place in our hearts and we look forward to returning each year to honor our special day. Thank you for everything!!

We cannot say enough about Sunriver Resort and every team member there who helped our wedding go off without a single hitch.

We were originally supposed to get married in May of 2020 and ultimately end up postponing our day till October due to the COVID-19 pandemic. First, when originally planning our wedding, Sunriver was a dream. Gorgeous venue. Kind, hardworking people. Amazing food. We were so wildly excited. When we had to postpone, Sunriver was so incredibly gentle, flexible and truly cared about us being able to have the most wonderful day possible. The re-planning with Sunriver was seamless.

Finally, when October arrived, Sunriver bent over backwards to make our day perfect and make everyone feel comfortable. Their policies about masks, handwashing, social distancing were completely appropriate and enforced but the way they executed these policies did not for one second infringe on our perfect day. Even in spaces where plexi-glass was necessary, it was still made to look beautiful and natural. Our wedding was perfect. The venue was unbelievable, the food and drinks were raved about by all guests, and every member of the Sunriver team that contributed to our day, was so kind, hardworking and patient with us.

We cannot recommend Sunriver Resort enough. In very weird times, they gave us the best, most beautiful day we could have ever imagined. We are so thankful and will look back on pictures and videos of our day at Sunriver with so much love.

The year of 2020 proved Sunriver Resort as a "Shining Star" venue to have a wedding, especially a Covid wedding!!! They delivered above a "10 out of 10" wedding for our daughter and son-in-law. Their May 23rd wedding was postponed and moved to October 18th due to Covid. During such an uncertain time every conversation we had with Lynne Cahail she had our best interest in mind. She was trustworthy, reliable, optimistic and willing to think outside the box with Covid protocol to create a safe venue for all attendees. Lynne held our hand the entire way and brought her clam, positive, can-do attitude to create their incredible wedding. It was such a magical weekend and wedding! If you want a beautiful wedding that will exceed your wildest expectations and has all the Covid protocol in place, Sunriver is your venue!! The beautiful Great Hall and Bachelor Lawn were a perfect backdrop for our wedding and reception. The appetizers and dinners they prepared were excellent. Our friends and family are still talking about what an incredible time they had in Sunriver over the weekend of October 18, 2020!! Lynne, wish we could do it all over again with you! :)

I can not say enough good things about this venue. The coordinator was beyond helpful, the staff were professional, and the food was amazing!

We had an absolute blast at Sunriver. We spent the whole week there leading up to the wedding and relaxed by the pool and enjoyed the spa services. It was wonderful. The wedding itself went off without a hitch. It was a beautiful day and everything was perfect!

Getting married at Sunriver was AMAZING. Exceeded all expectations. Food was OUTSTANDING. Every guest was raving. Annie Packman (Catering Mgr) helped us every step of the way. All of our decisions were made out of state so without her we would have been lost. Price was so very reasonable and the GREAT HALL interior cannot be matched for photos. We had all of our bridal party and families rent houses a few days prior and it made for such a fun experience. Say I DO at Sunriver. Seriously.

Our wedding was better than ever imaginable! The Great Hall is the most beautiful setting for an indoor ceremony and/or reception. Annie and the entire Sunriver team were great from start to finish. They went above and beyond to be sure that every detail was perfect and that we were happy. All of our guests had a wonderful time and keep gushing about how great the food was. We are so happy we chose Sunriver for our special day!

Perfect venue for a memorable wedding!

Sunriver Resort Great Hall was the ultimate dream place to get married. I had searched all over the PNW for a lodge that was as elegant and beautiful as the Great Hall. It was really nice that Sunriver does so many weddings because it went very smoothly. The food was absolutely amazing!! They have cabins all over the resort that can hold 10-20 people which was really great for my family and bridal party. The only downside was how expensive it was. We chose Sunriver and decided that we could afford the $105/plate. However not included in their pricing was the 24% service charge. So take that into account when budgeting if you can afford this place, because it added probably $4,000 onto the cost. The food/drink was by far the most expensive part of my wedding. If i had to do it again I would definitely choose Sunriver. You can't beat the beauty of the great hall and all the services on the resort.

Kim and Nicole did a FABULOUS job on making my wedding the best it could be! They were very professional and helped make my dream become a reality. They made me feel so special and helped make the wedding run as smoothly as possible. I would not switch one thing about my wedding, and they were a major reason to that!

Definitely recommend Sunriver Resort for any wedding.... especially having KIM and NICOLE be a part of it!

When I started looking for a venue for our wedding, I was in LOVE with the Great Hall at Sunriver Resort. I had looked at their packages for food & beverage and thought to myself that I would never be able to afford my dream wedding at Sunriver. But after talking to Kim, she brought the price down into my budget range and helped me have my dream wedding! After the down deposit and signing of the contract, I was passed along to Kelly in Conventions. She was extremely helpful, always on her toes, and answered all of my questions. Kelly helped set up the catering tastings, as well as a meeting about the full breakdown of wedding details. It was so nice to have someone to rely on, especially since I was planning our wedding from another state! When it came to the big day, Kelly had everything in order.
The only thing that I would complain about, was that Kelly and her staff needed another hand doing our "room swap". That meant that i had to hire a "day-of" coordinator to place flowers, set tables, etc… But luckily, I had an amazing day-of coordinator, Bend Wedding & Events!

Sunriver blew us away with the most perfect wedding! The Great Hall and surrounding areas are so beautiful. Lynne and her team were very flexible and helped us plan and change details to match our needs. Day-of, everything went flawlessly and everyone was so kind and helpful. Food was fantastic and all our guests keep raving about the day! We would absolutely recommend Sunriver to anyone!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Sunriver. The Great Hall was breath taking and the event staff was very responsibility and flexible. They saw and felt our vision and took the time to make it work. The food was amazing...people say some of the best wedding food they have ever had. The day of went wonderful and the preparation helpful.

Also I would highly recommend using Calderas for a rehearsal options. It was BEYOND beautiful!!!

The only thing that we struggled with was that sometimes it was hard to get email responses back regarding details of the wedding. Sometimes we would go a week without hearing back, but I think it was because of a conference and personal wedding from staff members.

Regardless, I would recommend to anyone this venue.

The day of our wedding was really flawless thanks to Sunriver's amazing staff and procedures. The food was AMAZING, the wait staff so kind, and the bartenders so much fun! Everyone had a blast, and many guests said it was the best wedding they had been to! We had the fire pit outside on the back porch, and that was reasonably priced and provided a fun element to the party. The great hall itself was breath taking. It was often tricky to get a hold of them prior to the event, but I am aware that they were understaffed. Also tricky was the dressing room situation. The Great Hall does not come with guaranteed dressing rooms (or the room right next to the Great Hall), but if they are open 30 days prior to the event you can book it without a charge (or choose to pay a charge prior to that point). We were told that the dressing rooms we wanted were booked by another group (I mean, right next to the Great Hall) and that we would have to move all of our belongings mid-way through the wedding. For the price, you would think Sunriver would have guaranteed dressing rooms. The transportation from the airport for guests could also have been more reasonably priced ($75 each way). But overall, the experience was fantastic and the day of the event was so beautiful. We had such a great time, and are so pleased that we went with Sunriver!

Although our wedding hasn't happened yet, its December of 2015, our experience with Sunriver has been great so far! Annie has been great in helping us put together the wedding that we want. I can't wait till the actual day is here and watch all our dreams come true

We ultimately loved our wedding at Sunriver and have wonderful memories of the weekend. Everyone staffing the wedding weekend ensured it was a fantastic event for us and all of our guests staying at the resort. The Bachelor Lawn and Great Hall are stunning wedding venues.

The planning process had challenges, specifically a pattern of being promised one thing on a call, only to be told months later that it wasn't feasible. There were also several miscommunications between the broader Sunriver team that we had to untangle. Our advice is to get everything in writing rather than taking verbal commitments at face value. After months of frustrating interactions with two wedding/corporate event coordinators (both of whom are no longer at Sunriver), Lynne stepped in during our wedding weekend and ensured everything went as planned, which we appreciated – she is great at what she does.

Chef McCauly McCutcheon hosted a wonderful tasting, and the food at the wedding was outstanding – the portions were generous and the quality was far beyond what you’d expect from a resort wedding. The bartenders and serving staff were also attentive and professional.
We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Lake House at Caldera, and Darrell was fantastic in both planning and execution – he was reasonable with accommodations and went above and beyond on-site, even when the AV vendor (Pinnacle Live) dropped the ball. Additionally, the team at the Cove ensured our farewell breakfast catering was well-replenished.

The reservations and operations teams were friendly when handling our room requests and room-drops, and the accommodations themselves are clean and elevated (we’d also recommend using the Galleries for the morning of the wedding!) Chris at the pro shop was a huge help with our golf outing. We would not recommend pre-booking Sunriver shuttle buses. We spent an inordinate amount of time managing their drivers via phone during events, despite giving basic pickup/dropoff instructions; guests are likely better off using a third-party transport provider or calling shuttles on their own.

All that said, it’s hard to beat the beauty of Sunriver, and the day-of team is excellent – we just recommend going in eyes-wide-open regarding the planning process and potential points of frustration.

Venue was perfect. The Bachelor Lawn is ideal!

We had our wedding this past November and I wish I could say it was the best experience ever but I cannot. We felt like they were not upfront with how much everything was until one month prior. They charge for everything, nothing is included not even a “get ready room”, they have a 22% service charge fee, which was about an 8K charge on top of over priced food, a lodging fee (which means your guest have to book through them and a % go towards your wedding, if you don’t come up with this minimum amount you have to pay the difference). I was told nine days before the wedding it was their annual tree lightening ceremony and it would be held at the same time as our wedding and that I would have to let 300 guest know of this; they gave us two options: 1) have our guest arrive 2 hours earlier (we live 3 hours from sunriver) or we could change the time of our wedding. I said no and they offered to give us some parking spaces. Another issue that after speaking to another bride which this also happened to was we did not get all of our decorations back and we’ve called and email reguarding the missing decorations and have got no responses.

They seemed to pride themselves on making your special day the best experience. They gave discounts to stay the night when seeing the property beforehand, but dont be fooled. They CANNOT fit the amount people that they say they can. They DO NOT TAKE OUTSIDE CATERING, even if they tell you during the tour that they do!! No one shows up on time and people that work there seem disoriented when trying to help you. Multiple day events, expect $40k-$65k as a base... Oh, and the discount they give your guest for staying there is like 10%.... NOT WORTH IT.
