I got married when hurricane Irene was making it's way up the East Coast. I got married in Warwick, NY and Kristin from Studio One came to the Apple Valley Inn where we were staying (Fabulous Inn) and did my sisters hair who was my Maid of Honor and my hair. She did a fabulous job! She drove down despite the weather and made sure everything was perfect. I would highly receommend Kristin and Studio One!

Amanda was awesome! She spent so much time working on my trials - I ended up doing 2, and had about 8 hair styles in all! She was never annoyed and encouraged me to make sure that I knew what I wanted and what I liked. She spent a lot of time making sure she got it right and took careful pictures that she had with her the day of. I ended up going with a unique style, and she pulled it off beautifully. She also did my sister, mother, and MOL, who all LOVED their hair! My contact with Studio One's consultant was easy and well organized. I highly recommend Studio One and Amanda :)

Oh boy..where do I begin?? Studio One Hair Design is an absolute must for brides getting married in the Hudson Valley region! They made my wedding day so special, there are not enough words to express my satisfaction. I, like many brides, was so overwhelmed with a lot of other things that I almost forgot to pick a salon to get my hair done at! I remembered Studio One from when I got an amazing haircut there by Amanda about 2 years ago. When I called, the receptionist was so helpful and accomodating to my urgent needs! I even added an extra girl who decided last minute to get her hair done there with no difficulties. They made it work, no matter what!

I ended up having my bridal hair done by none other than Amanda, who had given me that fabulous haircut 2 years back! Amanda is an absolute JOY to work with. She was as excited, if not more excited for me on my wedding morning. Her creativity was not overlooked by anyone at the wedding. I cannot even count the number of compliments I got on my hair that day.

Jamie did my makeup and totally nailed it! It was natural looking, but yet still showed my personality with the navy shadow I selected.

All of this blabbering aside, I LOVE Studio One. If you choose them, you will not just be selecting a vendor for your wedding, you will be picking a group of warm, talented people who will make sure all of your needs are met for your big day!

Jaime and Kristen were amazing. They came right to the venue, which was awesome. My mom looked gorgeous and so did my MOH. I loved my hair and makeup...which is saying a lot. I am not a makeup person. The airbrush products were great and stayed put all day.

They were so wonderful. They came to my hotel the morning of the wedding, and they did a total of 7 hair styles. They were punctual, and we were ready right on time. They made sure that all of us were put together before we left, if we needed any last minute adjustments.

We had the most beautiful hair styles. It might be one thing that people overlook or won't remember about the bridesmaids, but people kept complimenting them on their hair.

I highly recommend them. They are incredibly easy to work with, and the whole morning was so relaxing with them.

I was searching online for a hairstylist in New Paltz for my wedding day. I had two previous trials at other salons that were disappointing before I found Studio One Hair Design. My trial with Kristen was about two hours. I couldn't believe she spent so long with me on the trial. She asked me many questions to get a sense of who I am and what I like. Kristen was so professional, passionate, and hugely talented! She took pictures, so she had a record of the style and could duplicate it on the wedding day.

Studio One Hair Design went above and beyond on my wedding day. My two friends and step-mother also had their hair styled that morning. Studio One had a beautiful breakfast set for us. Kristen duplicated the style from my trial and again spent over two hours on my hair. My hair lasted the whole day and still looked fabulous that night. The staff was amazing and all so talented.This small hair studio has huge talent! I highly recommend them to anyone, particularly Kristen for bridal do's.

Jaime and Kristen did a fabulous job on my hair and make-up! I particularly appreciated that they both took the time to work with me until we got everything just right. In addition, they are both so much fun to be around, which really helped start my wedding day off right!

You want a professional focused hair artist? You want Amanda. I am very picky and I could not have asked for better. She made my thin hair look full and built curls without ratting, and even wove my head piece INTO my hair. A smart lady I would recommend to anyone. Thank you, Amanda, for driving two+ hours through flooded roads to get to me and make me look and feel fabulous!!!!

The day of our wedding we had Sarah (make-up) and Amanda (hair) come to our house to get my mom, maid-of-honor and myself ready for the big day. They were early and ready to go. They set up in the tiny space we gave them and were so very professional and lovely to work with. Sarah did a fantastic job with everyone's make-up and was very personable and easy going. It was the first time I had met her but she did a great job creating the look I wanted with no prior consultation. She was fantastic!
Amanda did a tremendous job with all our hair. I loved the side bun that she did for me and it stayed the entire night as she promised it would. It loved lovely. My maid-of-honor has uber short hair and was not sure they could do anything for her but Amanda did an incredible job giving her a fun style that looked just perfect.
Overall the experience was great. I would highly recommend the services of Studio One but particularly of Sarah and Amanda. They were so professional, easy going and I can't say enough fantastic things about the two of them. Excellent job ladies.

The ladies at Studio One were wonderful, from the hair and makeup trial at the studio to the on site hair and makeup for me and the bridal party the day of the wedding. We all felt beautiful! The girls were flexible and accommodating to any changes. I would recommend them to any bride who wants one less thing to worry about.

The beginning of my service began with trying Studio One out on a regular basis. After two visits with the same girl I was very pleased and went ahead to book my trial appointment for my wedding. The trial was awful. The girl that did my hair was not very pleasant, only did two styles (instead of your typical 3), and did not allow me to leave the salon with a hair style that I liked. As everyone informed me of later, I should have been able to choose the style that I liked the most and leave with that style to see how it holds up. The woman did not even use the same product! I decided to go back the day of the wedding only because she did a decent job and only needed a little more direction. I figured that was worth it more than a second trial.

The day of the wedding, the salon booked myself and my sister with the same woman. We were all supposed to have 12pm appointments but when we got there my sister was told she had to wait til I was done! (so much for getting out at the same time). I ended up liking my hair style, but it was not entirely what I had asked for and it was even different from the trial do. I would recommend Studio One on any given day to get your hair done... just not your wedding.

I hated my hair! I brought a picture to show exactly what I wanted and had shown it to the woman weeks before to give her time to prepare. It ended up not looking anything like what I wanted with no time to correct and I was still charged full price, well over $100!
