Katrina gave my wife and me the absolute best wedding ceremony we could've asked for. She was amazing to work with and did such a great job telling our story. It was our favorite part of our whole wedding experience by far. She spent time with us beforehand learning about our relationship and figuring out what we mean to each other, which was a ton of fun. She was open throughout the whole process to how we wanted the ceremony to go, and gave us a lot of options and guidance on things like readings, vows, etc. We were able to take an active role in how it all played out. And on the day of she truly made the ceremony unforgettable. We were so impressed and happy with everything and received a ton of compliments on how great our ceremony was. Amazing officiant
We are so grateful we had Katrina officiate for us! We traveled for our wedding and in the chaos of everything we realized we had forgotten our wedding license at home - Katrina was incredibly understanding and went out of her way to help us sort everything out! Hey World!
My wife and I were at a loss in terms of what our actual ceremony and vows should be. Katrina was able to walk us a through her strategies for writing ceremonies and she created something truly beautiful and unique to us. We cannot understate how much Katrina's experience & talent meant to us. She learned our history as a couple (warts and all) and wrote our story in a way that was amazing when read aloud at the ceremony but that wasn't the 1/2 of it. Her story of our relationship was therapeutic and a gift we'll have and cherish forever.
We recommend everyone use Katrina for their wedding. She's worth twice what she charges. Let your friends and family give a toast, but put the ceremony in the hands of a professional. -

We wanted a humanist ceremony with a completely custom script and she made the process a breeze by sending lots of options to customize to our hearts content. I cannot recommend Katrina & Spoken heart Ceremonies enough. To start with Katrina is so talented at what she does. Our ceremony exceeded all of our hopes and expectations. Our family members still talk about how great the ceremony was. There was not a dry eye in sight, and that is not an exaggeration. Our guests were gushing about our ceremony for weeks after the wedding.
Katrina is incredibly flexible and will be involved as much or as little as you want in creating your wedding ceremony. She was always willing to meet with us, as many times as we needed to get our ceremony the way we wanted it. She helped us with our vows and she captured our story so perfectly. Despite never having met Katrina in real life prior to the ceremony she was able to make our ceremony so special and personal to us. It was perfect and exactly what we wanted. She truly has a gift for bringing stories to life!
Additionally she is very thorough and makes sure to get an understanding of family dynamics, sensitive situations, etc. to make things as comfortable as possible for everyone involved and to relieve any stress on the couple.
On top of all of that she is one of the sweetest and most thoughtful humans I have met. On our wedding day and the few weeks leading up to our wedding she checked in, calmed our nerves, offered us advice, and provided comfort in getting through the most emotional moments in our life to date.
I cannot think of a single reason why you shouldn’t book her. If she is available for your wedding date book her, you wont regret it. And if you don’t want to take my word for it set up a meeting with her.

Kind, Patient, Caring, Amazing
I am so thankful that we decided to book with Katrina. She was not only more thorough and prepared than anyone else I had talked to, she was also more patient with us. We were booking for a wedding that would happen within 2 months, but she came prepared with tools to help us write a beautiful script and even checked in when I forgot to send a part to her THE NIGHT BEFORE! Eek.

I am so very happy that we decided to have Miss Katrina Baecht officiate our wedding. If you want a romantic, easy going, and flawless ceremony, this is exactly who you should go with. She made the process fun by zooming us and hearing about our story of how we met, fell in love, and got to know one another. She writes her own version of it and made it sound much better than we ever could. She was so easy going and very very sweet. I had a moment before the ceremony about the vows, and she calmed me down and switched it to the easier version for me and let my husband know the update. She has a lot of options to choose from to pick out exactly how you would like your ceremony to go.
All of our guests raved about her as well. They loved how unique it was with her telling our story and how flawless the ceremony was, especially with it being in the Texas sun.

Katrina was the absolute perfect person to officiate our wedding, and we could not have asked for a more compassionate, warm, and eloquent person to have married us. She was flexible when we needed to change our date due to the pandemic. What I appreciated most of all and what made a huge difference in how personalized and meaningful our ceremony was was that she worked with us from the beginning to the end to customize our wedding ceremony to us. She helped us write our love story, offered guidance on passages, guided us on our custom vows, and helped us create a fluid bilingual Spanish and English ceremony. She also offered marriage advice before, during, and after our wedding day that we will carry with us always. She helped us include our family members in meaningful and creative ways that I had not even imagined and really made the entire ceremony experience touching and meaningful and personalized. Perfect ceremony!
Katrina doesn't just perform your ceremony, she tells a story. She made sure to talk to us both and find out about us personally so to tell OUR story at our wedding. Lots of wonderful comments from our guests, some in tears. Thanks Katrina for making our day so special! -

Storytelling is something that is so near and dear to my heart so it was amazing to see how Katrina incorporated that piece into crafting our ceremony. She made this entire process personalized, meaningful, and special. We had a very small wedding and it was absolutely perfect! She went above and beyond to answer our Q's and even help me into my dress. Highly recommend! -

The number one compliment we received throughout our wedding was how “perfectly us” our ceremony was, and how incredible Katrina’s delivery was! She makes everything very easy and we loved all of her templated recommendations (with tons of options) that really allows you to put a personal touch on everything. She offered up many opportunities to Zoom/call ahead of time so she could get to know us and to make sure we were comfortable. We couldn’t recommend Katrina more!! -

My husband and I originally planned to get married at the courthouse but with the ever-changing policies due to COVID-19 - from no witnesses to video conferences - we decided we needed to go a different route and have a small elopement. That meant we needed to find an officiant. Katrina was responsive, warm and so incredibly helpful throughout the nuptial process. Even with an elopement there were a lot of details I had to keep track of and vendors I needed to check-in with but I was never worried about Katrina. She provided so much guidance and help, I would recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant for their special day! -

We cannot say enough good things about working with Katrina. If we were to plan our wedding all over again, Katrina is the first vendor we would contact. When we first started planning, my fiancé and I disagreed on whether to have a friend/family member officiate or a professional. My fiancé wanted the personal touch of someone that knows us well and I favored the experience/organization that a professional would bring. We reached out to Katrina to chat, and both walked away from that initial meeting knowing that we had to work with her. The process of creating our wedding ceremony was straightforward thanks to Katrina’s many extensive word documents full of readings, example vows, ring exchange wording, and rituals to include in the ceremony. The process of sitting down and writing our vows together was fun and really made us think about what marriage actually means to us. As part of our ceremony, Katrina wrote up our “couple’s story” after meeting with us on Zoom and asking us questions. The story she wrote seemed like it’d been written by someone who’d known us for years. On the wedding day, the ceremony was perfect…it felt genuine and true to our relationship. Despite having family with different religious backgrounds, the ceremony included a little something for everyone and they all left happy. We really can’t recommend Katrina enough! -

A meaningful process that leads to a truly custom ceremony.
Our ceremony was everything and more than what we had imagined and hoped. Katrina’s entire process leading up to our big day was thoughtful and organized, it took us on a journey that made exchanging our vows that much more meaningful. We cannot thank her enough for doing what she does— it’s been such a gift. Our family and friends were also absolutely blown away. We both remember hearing numerous times that it was the best ceremony people felt they had been to. One of my favorite comments was from my dad who said, “She helped me really get it.” It being our love. [same-sex couple]
In short, those 20+ minutes grounded the most significant weekend of our lives. It brought all that love we felt and focused it in a way that we will cherish forever.
You would be missing out on something truly special by not booking Katrina as your wedding officiant.
She’s an absolute treasure.

Choosing Katrina as our officiant was the best decision we made on our wedding day.
We can’t imagine our day going as smoothly as it did without Katrina being there. She made our ceremony so personal, sweet and funny. I get emotional every time I listen the ceremony audio. Katrina is the absolute best there is. Hire her as your officiant, you will not regret it! The most special part of our wedding was by far the ceremony, and it was all thanks to Katrina. She writes your ceremony in a way that makes you understand and appreciate the unique intricacies of your own relationship in a way you have never thought of before.
