  Hannah, bride

  The South Carolina Yacht Club is a beautiful venue! We got married here in 2019 and it was a dream! The staff is excellent and very helpful. The chef is fantastic and works with you to make sure the food is perfect! I recommend this venue to anyone looking for a perfect wedding on the water!

  The perfect evening.

  My wedding at the SCYC was nothing short of magical. The venue itself is stunning. I will forever remember my first dance, feeling the warm ocean breeze, hearing a slight echo from the band as it bounced through the marina, and seeing the clear sky littered with stars. The venue itself is beautiful but what put my night over the top was the attention to detail. The event planner made everything a breeze. The food was top notch, the band was perfect, the staff was kind and attentive and the experience over all was flawless. I would strongly recommend SCYC for any event especially your wedding.

  We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at the yacht club. Dana Cortes and his staff gave us our dream wedding. Everything was perfect. Our guests are still raving about the venue and the food.

  If i would have my reception again it would still be in SCYC. First April Langil, who helped us with everything was awesome and was on top of things!! Not to mention she was very pretty too :) The deck was a good place to take pictures. The food was Phenomenal!!!! I am asian and my husband is Caucasian, we wanted to have asian fusion and the chef's experience showed, through all the different flavors and textures. The way the Hors d'oeuvres were presented was clever and artistic. The only thing was they could only start the reception around 5pm and the rooms are segmented. If you just want one big room then this wouldn't be a place for you. Overall we had a nice time and it was unique but delicious gastronomical experience for our guests.

  Reginald Fadden is the catering and events coordinator at the yacht club. He is extremely professional and was such a joy to work with. He was prompt at returning phone calls and emails and made the entire reception process much easier from several states away.
