We highly recommend Simply Azure and Farrah K. as your Wedding “Day of Coordinator.” Simply Azure will deliver beyond all your needs and exceed all your expectations. Simply Azure was our number one vendor, and Farrah was the number one reason why our daughter and son-in-law, our families, and our friends had the most spectacular, welcoming, historic and enchanting wedding weekend.
Our daughter and her fiancé selected a Chicago museum for their wedding ceremony and reception that required a year-long collaboration with over nine Chicago based vendors. The coordination and communication between vendors was extremely detailed and demanding, and Simply Azure was the invisible; yet, ever-present thread that connected all the parts of planning and organizing that guaranteed the successful implementation of a unique wedding experience.
We know that hundreds of other couples and their families host weddings and parties in the same space, but with Farrah’s attention to details and her personal awareness of the couple’s vision, our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding perfectly illustrated them as individuals and as a couple. Many of our family and friends have commented that the wedding was unique and unlike any other that they have attended. Farrah and Simply Azure helped to create that singular sense of personal and communal beauty and hospitality.
Farrah is so much more than a “Day of Coordinator.” She is an experienced and highly educated professional and a considerate planner and person who generously gave of her time, knowledge, and guidance in many ways including: in person meetings, Zoom check ins, unlimited emails, and text messages the day of that kept the bride and groom, the entire wedding party, and all families on track and on time. This was a daunting task that she and her assistant Candice delivered with calm confidence that gave courage to all so that there was wonderful laughter and fun and joy on their wedding day!
Farrah provides a twelve month timeline that lists month-by-month activities to be accomplished by the couple and their vendors that includes crucial dates, locations, and details that guide a couple through one of the most complicated journeys of their engagement. She keeps the focus on the bride and groom and their needs throughout the months and especially on the wedding day. She remains respectful and considerate of all the families and makes an effort to understand all the relationships that are important to the bride and groom.
In addition to her wisdom, suggestions, and decade long experience, Farrah takes the time to establish a commitment and trust between the couple and the planner that adds a sense of grace and gratitude to each day. She is a careful listener who honor’s a couple’s vision, and Farrah provides advice and suggestions if needed so that the Bride and Groom-To-Be can relax and enjoy the unfolding decisions that culminates on their wedding day.
Through the months, and especially the last two weeks before the wedding, when planning and preparation became most demanding or started to feel overwhelming, and our witty future son-in law would title another revised seating chart document: “GOin crazy with it,” my daughter and I would turn to each other with concern, and say one word: “Farrah,” and we knew that all would be well!
Words cannot fully capture our gratitude and appreciation for the stellar professionalism and personal kindness that Simply Azure and Farrah K. consistently provided through the entire wedding planning process.

I don't even know where to start... I could probably write a dissertation on her but... Farrah is the BEST EVER. In every aspect of the word. She was way more than a day of coordinator and went above and beyond. From the day we first spoke she was so helpful, so communicative throughout and just absolutely amazing. She carries so much knowledge and will think of everything. I've heard so many horror stories of things going wrong, brides stressing and there was 0 of that during our day and I 100% attribute that to Farrah, she's honestly so impressive and incredible at her job and Shaun and I were so grateful to have had her on our team. If you want to have an organized, well-planned and well-executed wedding (as well as a calming presence day-of) you NEED to hire Farrah. I'm even considering divorcing my husband so Farrah can help with my second wedding. HIRE FARRAH. It will be the best decision you'll ever make -

Let me just start off by saying this… I’ve had multiple wedding guests (friends who are newly engaged and mothers of daughters/sons who are newly engaged) calling me up days after my wedding asking me for Farrah's contact information. THAT, right there, says it all. However, I can't stop there because I could write an entire book on why every bride NEEDS a Farrah (which is what I’m about to do). I got engaged in July of 2019 and was convinced I could plan my Oct 2020 wedding all on my own… that didn't last long. A family-friend of mine told me about a wedding coordinator they were working with and HIGHLY recommended her. Fast forward to Feb 2020 when I first reached out to Farrah. With the wedding being only 8 months away, I didn't think it would be possible on such short notice, but I decided to send her an email anyway asking if she was available on my wedding date. BEST. DECISION. EVER. MADE. Within 30 mins, Farrah replied asking if I was available for a phone call that evening. Before our phone call even ended, I was already signing the contract. I am extremely detail-oriented and crazy organized almost to a fault (Farrah- if you're reading this, I know you're laughing), so it blew my mind when Farrah started asking me questions and giving recommendations on things that never even crossed my mind during our first conversation! Farrah is always thinking 10 steps ahead and will have a Plan A, B, and C for any possible scenario. The absolute BEST part about working with Farrah is that, regardless of what package you choose, she is there EVERY single step of the way. She will answer every email/call/text, at any hour of the day, with absolute clarity. She truly makes you feel like you’re her only client. Unfortunately, I ended up having to postpone my Oct 2020 wedding to Oct 2021 due to Covid, but Farrah continued to support me throughout the ENTIRE wedding planning process (that's almost TWO years, people)!! Honestly, the one silver lining of having to postpone my wedding was being able to work with Farrah for another full year! She is an absolute gift to every bride/groom. Her knowledge of the wedding industry, attention to detail (and I mean EVERY single detail), responsiveness, and commitment to her clients is unparalleled! Farrah is very well respected in the wedding industry- when I told our venue and other vendors that we were working with Farrah, everybody knew her and LOVES working with her! To say Farrah goes ABOVE and BEYOND is an understatement. She will do whatever it takes to ensure a smooth and *stress-free* planning process and wedding day experience for everyone involved. Here is just one of the many great examples… I forgot to bring one of my vendor’s checks to the wedding reception (as I had promised them) and Farrah could see that I was frustrated with myself. Without even knowing (not wanting me to worry), Farrah asked my husband for our house keys, left the reception during dinner/speeches (don’t worry- her assistant was still there), drove all the way to our house in the suburbs, grabbed the check, and was back at the venue with the check before dinner even ended. How many weddings planners do you know that would do that?! ONLY FARRAH.
Farrah- THANK YOU for everything you have done for me over these last (almost) two years! From the 1000+ email exchanges, vendor coordinating, vendor phone calls, vendor walk through, wedding rehearsal, and the wedding day of our dreams- I cannot thank you enough!!! It truly was a privilege being able to work with you!
Brides & Grooms to-be, PLEASE, do yourself a favor and hire Farrah!! I PROMISE you; it will be the BEST decision you ever made!! -

The Simply Azure team is truly the best! They really are the dream team and we couldn’t be happier. They helped make my wedding dreams come true. We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and I couldn't have gotten through it without their help! They were always very patient, responsive, and are in the know with the most current and fabulous wedding trends. Farrah made sure every single detail of our wedding day went smooth and we are so thankful for her help. We absolutely recommend them without hesitation! Thank you for everything! -

I am the MOB.
On a website titled Smashing the Glass I found the most PERFECT and AMAZING Party Planner, Farrah Singh Kauffman of Simply Azure Events.
To begin with, Farrah is very calm, kind-hearted, intelligent and very organized. When I first contact her in early winter, she listened to my story and then explained what was involved in a “Day-of” planner. I enjoyed speaking to many of the other planners but each one seemed to talk very fast, they were very excited - so full of enthusiasm. This exuberance was too much for my already busy mind; I was looking for someone who was very peaceful. Even Farrah’s email response was calming.
Farrah's contract/package was easy to understand, though she was to be a “Day-of” planner; she turned out to be so much more - she was my lifeline!
I had already signed the venue Gallery 1028 and their dedicated caterer Calihan Catering, the florist Jori Foreman of Fab Flora, and Kpoene Kofi-Bruce of Mignonette Bridal, an heirloom wedding dress re-vamper (my daughter was going to wear the dress my mother wore in 1958, I wore in 1985 and later my sister would wear in 1990). Most of the vendors were in downtown Chicago.
From December on, Farrah kept us on-track. She read each contract, even alerting us to any quirks. She suggested vendors we hadn’t yet signed including David Florczak of Posh Production for lighting. My daughter found a photographer from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Elizabeth Wells, and my son-in-law, found the band Big Sadie, who played blue grass. My daughter selected Sweet Mandy B’s for the cake and Do Rite donuts for the pre-wedding meal.
Farrah explained that, in addition to overseeing the venue set-up, she would be in charge of every item needed for the wedding, this included old family photos, the place cards, decorations and other miscellaneous things. I live 5 hours from Chicago by car. During the planning, I often flew. With each visit I brought more of the pieces. At one point Farrah met us in the suburbs of Chicago to collect some items. Another time I drove in with a friend bringing boxes of items including a mirror, easel, candy, a decorative tree and baskets for the bathrooms. Farrah so graciously collected those items from my family. She went well beyond being a “Day of” planner!
As the wedding got closer, Farrah had telephone conferences with the bride and groom she did a walk thru with the caterer and the couple, she contacted the wedding party to be sure everyone knew her and had her contact information and she contacted each vendor to remind and clarify them of their responsibilities. She was amazingly well organized. She even taught us a few things about weddings we didn’t know.
She also emailed and called each of us periodically to be sure things were going well.
The night before the wedding she met us for a rehearsal in downtown Chicago. I might add that Farrah lives in the suburbs of Chicago. For many of the meetings, she drove to downtown Chicago - this is not an easy task, traffic, parking and there’s always a festival or parade to clog the streets. Never once did Farrah fail to complete any promised task; she did so many helpful things I can’t name them all.
I might add that Farrah does everything with a beautiful smile!
The day of the wedding we had torrential rain but this didn’t stop Farrah and her crew (she had two assistants) from being on time. Due to the storm, my husband and I were delayed about 15 minutes. When we got to the venue for photos (we had the wedding dress and the groom’s suit) the rooms were already set-up. She even had a steamer to steam the dress one more time and to steam some suit jackets that got wet in the rain!
Everything I asked Farrah, was completed and completed perfectly. If I inquired if something was done, her response was always “done”, “yes”, “already thought of that, took care of it”. She was so much more than amazing and she stayed that way through the entire wedding and as we did clean-up. Farrah was one step ahead of me. She did everything with grace, kindness, and calmness - nothing rattled her. I later found-out the doughnut delivery people couldn’t get my Amex to work. Farrah took care to pay for them, she never bothered me, she just worked it out. I later paid her back - wow, she's amazing thoughtful too!
I am sure if I looked back at every pre-wedding moment with Farrah and throughout the wedding, I could think of a million reasons she helped make the day so perfect for my daughter and our family.
I highly recommend Farrah Singh Kauffman and Simply Azure Events. -

We can't thank Farrah enough for all of her help to make our day pure magic! We hired Farrah for her Day of Services. I am a project manager and organized almost to a fault. Farrah was able to help me consider things I hadn't, work around last minute challenges, and keep me 100% calm through the threat of terrible weather. On that day we were on schedule and I never worried about a thing- I knew she had all of it under control and perfectly executed. And she managed to keep the sun out until we were safe inside for the reception!

Leading up to the day, she was very flexible in terms of meetings and was always available to talk things through via text or call in a very open and precise manner. She is so organized and efficient, and able to anticipate potential issues, even my bridesmaids still rave about her! Farrah and her team made the day of the wedding so effortless and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Even minor changes like last minute seat changes and me forgetting when we were supposed to do the first dance and changing up the timeline on the spot were handled with so much grace. We still say Farrah's services were the best decision we made for our wedding. She's amazing and highly recommend!

During the planning phase, she came up with many great creative ideas that looked like a million dollars, but didn't cost much. She also helped us to select the most important priorities that did make a difference and to let go the ones that were a waste of money (due to out budget limits). On the day of, none of us in the party had to lift a finger- she took care of everything so we could just. Have. Fun. We got her undivided attention at a time when she was planning her own wedding and you would never have known. I don't know how she does it! -

Farrah is very knowledgeable about wedding planning, suggested great vendors, and gave great advice whenever we had questions. Everything was perfect during the wedding and guests were raving about how wonderful the wedding was. Farrah created a detailed wedding timeline, organized a wedding vendor walkthrough at the ceremony/reception site, and coordinated the rehearsal. Farrah and her team did a spectacular job during the day of our outdoor wedding with set up, take down, and making necessary adjustments with the rainy weather. The exact vision of our wedding was made into reality with the help of Simply Azure Events. We could not do it without Farrah and we highly recommend Simply Azure Events.
