Great food and great experience

They were so accommodating on such little notice (short engagement). They had great food and the presentation was excellent. Everyone loved the food!

Amazing Variety at a great affordable price!

We used Shady Maple for our Catering for our wedding and they were the best choice we could have made. We got a greater variety of more food and it was all absolutely delicious!| Perfectly tasty and more food than we needed.

Catered our event at a local BnB -EXCELLENT

Shady Maple did an outstanding job from beginning to end for this off-site catering venue. They came to the location ahead of time to look it over and smooth out any problems. They needed NO water or electricity - they brought EVERYTHING with them, including tables, linens etc. The food was EXCELLENT and PLENTIFUL and Hot were Hot and Cold were Cold. The Staff could not have been more friendly! Overall they far surpassed all of my expectations - I highly recommend them. We wanted a vegetarian menu and they were accommodating for that too. They do have a long list of foods to choose from - as long as you don't wander off that list you will have no problems. I am vey happy with their service! Ohh - they even professionally packed the leftovers for us to have. :)

We ordered a small cake and 16 dozen cupcakes for our wedding reception. The quality and the price was unbeatable! So delicious!

I so enjoyed working with Tee, Dave, and the rest of the Shady Maple Banquets team! Tee was always extremely responsive to my abundant emails (God bless her!) and was always very understanding and helpful when I needed a professional's opinion. Dave was a pleasure to collaborate with on the day of the wedding! He kept the food coming at the perfect pace, was always so friendly and easy to get along with -- traits that made us and our guests happy! Plus, the value of their services is phenomenal, especially when you consider all you're receiving. Seriously, I could not recommend Shady Maple enough!

I absolutely loved working with Tee and the team at shady maple! They were awesome during the whole planning process, and the day of. The food was delicious and our guests loved it. Shady Maple also made our cupcakes and they were delicious as well and they looked beautiful! Highly recommend!

Shady Maple was the best price that we found for everything that they give you! They only charge for the food and not the building usage unless you have a huge wedding and need more space. They are so friendly and nice to work with! You also get a free wedding cake if you have your reception there. The food is fantastic and the service is great. I don't known of any better place to have your wedding reception at!

I had Shady Maple bake my wedding cake. It looked and tasted amazing! I met with Pat a few times, and she was very patient with me as I looked through the picture book many times to try to figure out what I wanted. I finally brought a picture in to show her from a wedding cake I saw on TV. She gave me suggestions on how to make it fit for my number of guests with the flavors I wanted. I had a different flavor for every layer, which I loved! It gave my guests variety. It looked beautiful too! Just what I wanted. I also decided to go with fondant, which I was hesitant about at first, but was extremely happy that I had it. It tasted great and looked great too! And their prices were very reasonable compared to other bakeries. I would highly recommend Shady Maple to bake your wedding cake.

Every staff member I met was very sweet and curteous towards me and my family, and that made me feel at ease. I could tell that some of the staff were followers of Jesus Christ and that made all the difference in their treatment towards customers.

I had a great experience working with the staff at Shady Maple. From our original meeting to go over the contract to the day of the wedding, the staff were very professional and answered all of my questions. The banquet staff were amazing, in the fact that they made me feel like I was the only banquet they were doing. They stated they had a full day of banquets the day of my wedding, but I could not tell, it seemed like they devoted all of their time to make sure I was happy and that all of my questions and concerns were answered.

The only complaint I had was that the day before the wedding, I had to drop off my centerpieces and other things that needed to be at the reception, and they had a time frame that I had to drop it off before 1pm, but because of my other running around, it made it difficult for me to get there in that time. But, once I was there, we got everything situated for the day of the wedding.

On the day of the wedding, all of the staff were very curtious and sweet. Everything was right where I wanted it according to the room layout. The price was hard to beat for everything they provided! We even splurged a little to get the chocolate fountain, which everyone was talking about after the wedding! It was wonderful!

the only thing that some people may not like is that they are a non-alcoholic facility. This did not bother us, but I know a lot of people like to have a bar as part of their celebration.

Everything was beautiful and the food was amazing. My entire family was surprised at how much money we saved on our wedding with having our reception at Shady Maple.

Our overall experience with Shady was very good. The price for the quality of food was very budget friendly. We grew up going to Shady Maple, so we knew what type of food we were getting. My only recommendation would be to offer your couples a free meal on the house. They do not offer you to try/taste their food. You only know unless you sit down and pay for a meal. We were fortunate enough to live close by and ate there for birthday's so we knew what type of food we would be getting.

Aside from getting repeated phone calls while I was on vacation to discuss things I had an appointment for a week later, getting lost and having to scramble to get things set-up on time, and running out of salad for my guests - everything else was good. I had a couple special requests which they catered to and all of the food was delicious. Overall we were a little disappointed though.

Good Food, Okay Experience

Shady Maple catered our wedding with a buffet, which we loved. The food was delicious and many of our guests liked it. They brought their own linens and they also provided beverages. What we weren't so happy with was their lack of clean up. They left the majority of their stuff at our wedding venue when it was supposed to be cleaned up by them and taken back by them. Their communication on what non-food items they would provide for the buffet and what their timeline for set-up, serving, and clean-up was somewhat unclear. We also did not like the choices they gave us for additional sides. They allow you to select two meats, and then two sides, and then there is a 3rd section you can choose additional sides from, but they were strange options like chow chow. Lastly, they tried leaving without giving us our leftovers that we already paid for. That was definitely not cool. Overall, we had a fine experience with them. They did allow our guests to go up for seconds.

Shady Banquets has a great value for the cost, but I was not impressed with how much effort it took on my part to communicate with them... even the week of the wedding ended up in frustration as the time, guest count and room layout were still recorded wrong in their records. The day of our wedding went smoothly, but it was a very frustrating process up until then. If you use their services, make sure you triple check with them to make sure they have your information straight.
