I can not say enough about Mark of Savannah Event Catering. I can only rate up to 5 but if I could I would give him all 10s. He went over, above and beyond all of our expectations. He catered our daughter's entire wedding weekend which consisted of three separate days and meals. The price was right, the portions were plenty and the taste was exquisite. The staff was also very courteous and professional. Savannah Event Catering defined our weekend. Mark, thank you for providing us with a worry free and tasty weekend!

We hired Mark's company to cater an entire weekend of events...our casino-night rehearsal dinner, the wedding reception, and our Sunday brunch. Mark was a ball and got along SO well with my guests. Half of them have since friended him on Facebook! The food was TO DIE FOR. He was also great at helping me come up with a custom menu to go with our casino night theme...the hand-rolled sushi bar was a guest favorite for that event! And the steak he made for our Sunday brunch for steak and eggs was THE BEST steak I've eaten in forever. I think I gained my newlywed nine JUST on Sunday morning eating all that amazing food. The casino night and Sunday brunch were both held at a private mansion that we rented for the accomodations of the wedding party, and Mark did a drop off for both of those events, he brought everything right to us and he and his servers set up everything for us, stayed and served the entire time, and cleaned when they were done. This was a HUGE help because we were going CRAZY the night of the rehearsal dinner trying to set up the casino games, and after a long night of partying at the wedding it was SO nice to have everything taken care of for us Sunday morning. Lastly, the value was AMAZING. Mark really worked for our business when we were trying to decide between him and one other company. He made us feel like we weren't just another customer, but that earning our business TRULY mattered to him. I never could've imagined that we'd get such amazing food and service for such a great price!

Savannah event catering was just what I wanted for my wedding. Everything was amazing- guests commented that those were the best crab cakes they have ever had! Mr. Mark was very easy to work with and had the best value around.

Mark is an awesome cook and a great guy! The food at the tasting was amazing and at the wedding it was even better! Everyone loved everything that he made. He was also worked with me on the menu to create exactly what I wanted and gave us a very fair price. I wish he lived next door and owned a restaurant so I could go there every day. It is also nice to work with someone who was easy to talk to and knows what hes talking about. Couldn't be happier with the food and service!

If you want a great cater there the one. We had them cater two of holiday dinners for my company and the second time was requested with everyone donateing money for them to come out again. You get a pretty good bit of food and it taste so good. I give them a 5 because it was a great service and the quality was excellent.

Mark was great to work with! We made several changes to our menu during the planning process and Mark was very helpful by making suggestions to keep us under budget. We thought the food was very good in general. The fruit was especially fresh, everyone raved about the beef tenderloin, and the shrimp skewers were also a crowd favorite. The servers also cut our cake for us. Unfortunately not everyone received a piece of cake, but I'm not sure if it was an oversight on the servers' part or if the guests were too busy dancing to notice that cake was being served. Overall we were pleased with Savannah Event Catering and would recommend them to our friends.

The food was great. We requested sushi as an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. Many of our guests had never experienced sushi and many of them the thoroughly enjoyed their first experience. I make sushi at home and the chef was giving me tips to help make my at home sushi experience better by going as far as offering me his contact information so that I could call him if I had any questions while making my own. Great guy. The food was ready on time and the caterers took care of all of the cleaning. I would highly recommend this catering service to anyone looking for a catered meal.

Mark and his staff made our reception everything we wanted and was able to do it with in our budget. He was very flexable to changes and kept in touch with us during whole process. It was a great that as soon as we walked in theyy were ready and had everything reasdy for our guess. Everyone was impressed with their persentation of the food and the taste. He staff was professional and we hardly knew they had pack up and cleaned. I would recommend Mark and Savannah Event Cartering to anyone in need this service.

Savannah Event Catering provided an exceptional catering service for my work function. With over 80 adults plus children in attendance, there was plenty of excellent, well-prepared food served in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. Many guests commented to me as the organizer after the event that the food and service were exceptional. Without a doubt, I will continue to use SEC and Mark Scomo for all future events, both work-related and private.

This was the best choice I made for my wedding, out of all of the choices I had to make! Nothing went so smoothly, and was so satisfying, as our reception dinner. The service was excellent (even accommodating dietary restrictions with no fuss!), and the food was fantastic. We couldn't have been happier, and our guests (many of whom stayed in a big rental house with us for the weekend) were thrilled to have leftovers for lunch the next day. If we ever have a reason to hire a caterer in Savannah again, I won't think twice before calling Savannah Event Catering.
