On the big day, they arrived right on time, and the entire process was so calming and fun. My hair and makeup were stunning and exactly what I had imagined and even better! My makeup stayed perfect throughout the entire day, even through tears, hugs, and the dancing! My waves stayed in place all day, but still felt soft and natural. I got so many compliments from guests, and most importantly, I felt like the best version of myself. The team also worked seamlessly with my bridesmaids and family members, making sure everyone was comfortable and happy with their looks. I couldn’t recommend them enough! If you want to feel absolutely gorgeous on your wedding day, this is the team to trust. Thank you so much for making me feel so beautiful on such an important day! -

Best hair and makup... Perfection!
I had the pleasure of having my bridal hair and makeup done by Victoria, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results! I looked absolutely flawless. My makeup was dramatic (I like a little drama) and glowing. My hair was on point, elegant and beautiful. I felt so gorgeous! The entire team was professional, kind, and made me feel so at ease. I received endless compliments on how radiant I looked. I highly recommend them to any bride looking for a stress-free, gorgeous experience! -

Perfection!
A Dream Come True for My Wedding Day! Soooooo thrilled with my bridal hair and makeup!! My wedding day and experience was nothing short of exceptional. My stylisst took the time to understand my vision, listened to all of my preferences, and even provided suggestions that were spot on. It was clear that she understood not only the latest trends but also what would work best for my hair type and skin tone .... a true expert! On the wedding day my beauty team arrived early and was incredibly calm, professional, and organized. The entire experience was so relaxing which was something I truly appreciated with all my pre-wedding jitters. My hair and makeup were flawless! The makeup was exactly what I had envisioned, natural, glowing, and enhanced in all the right ways, while still feeling like "me." My hair was styled to perfection, holding up beautifully throughout the day. Even more impressive was how well everything lasted. My makeup looked fresh, my hair stayed in place all evening, and I received endless compliments from guests. I felt like a queen! I absolutely loved working with Heidi, my hair and make up came out perfect looked absolutely stunning in photos. She was extremely prompt and getting back to me with my questions and helped me to pick out hair jewellery and clips, she really made this whole process a lot easier as stress-free. -

Heidi and her team were absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, Heidi was wonderful to work with. I loved my makeup/hair rehearsal I did with her. She created the perfect look for my wedding day. On the day of, she made me look even more fabulous then I thought I could look! She captured everything I wanted to look like on my wedding day. I had 7 bridesmaid, my mom and the groom’s mom get their hair and makeup done by Heidi and the team as well. Everyone looked stunning! Thank you so much! We loved every minute of working with you! -

My wife and I got married in October (2019) at the Mission Inn Hotel in Riverside CA and we really enjoyed working with Salon Maison for our hair & makeup services! Our Bridal and Bridal Party hair and makeup was just perfect! From the moment I emailed and called Salon Maison they were very clear, honest, and communicative. I loved that they immediately in my first email sent me their pricing. I did a lot of research and found that Salon Maison’s pricing was very average/fair for high quality services and the years of experience they have! Being two brides, having two Mother of the Brides, and 8 Bridesmaids, Salon Maison was very helpful and accommodating in making sure our hair and makeup looked great for our large party of 12 ladies! I found them to be very communicative over email and the phone and they always responded quickly. Handling payments over the phone was very easy with them too. Both of our hair trials were wonderful and we truly had a great experience. With having two Brides, it was important to us that we had multiple stylists so that we wouldn’t get behind in our getting ready the morning of the wedding. Salon Maison said that we would have at least 3 stylists for the day.
The morning of the wedding, there was unfortunately a medical emergency with one of our 3 stylists and Salon Maison emailed/called at 5:45am that day to inform me. Due to the medical emergency they said they were sending their most senior stylist as one of our 2 other stylists and that they would work on getting a third person. Our hair/makeup was supposed to start at 7am, but they said they would be about 15/20 minutes delayed because of this and unfortunately they were closer 45/50 minutes late which made our day start about an hour behind. We also didn’t end up getting a third stylist like we needed. This delay was unfortunate as it affected our photo taking schedule later, but of course there was nothing we could do since it was a medical emergency. We ended about an hour later than planned. It was unfortunate, but not their fault. I wish there was perhaps a back up stylist plan with Salon Maison, in case something like this happens. Despite the late start, our stylists Heidi and Aliyah were fantastic. They did such an incredible job making sure that our Bridal Hair/Makeup and our Bridal party’s Hair/Makeup looked wonderful. They both truly listened to us in what we were wanting and what our Mother’s and Bridesmaid’s wanted as well. Heidi (the most senior stylist), was a hair/makeup magician. Despite the late start and missing 3rd stylist, she got through our party’s hair/makeup so quickly and so we were only 1 hour delayed. She also was so kind to offer our full party complimentary eye lashes with their makeup due to the delay.
Overall, we really enjoyed working with Salon Maison despite the hiccup and absolutely loved our hair and makeup on our wedding day! Our hair/makeup lasted till the very end and we felt fabulous every moment. -

Macy did an awesome job with my make-up! I have only worn a full face of products a couple of times in my life, so I was a little nervous about wanting to still feel like myself but also look good in pictures on my wedding day. The scheduling and communication was easy and stress-free, the trial went smoothly, and my make-up lasted for > 12 hours without any smudging or discoloration despite all the crying and dancing! -

Allison Sent on 09/12/2018Salon Maison is the real deal. The quality of wedding services they provide is excellent. We had an amazing experience from start to finish for the wedding day. I appreciated the hair/makeup trial while Heidi took great detailed notes, and knew exactly what to do the day of. The day of our wedding was a little hectic, but it did not phase the professional hair and makeup team. Our bridal party was stunning and everyone felt that their ideas of what they wanted to look like came to life, everyone got compliments all day. I felt exactly the way I imagined and even the smallest details were accomodated to perfection. Thank you for making us all even more beautiful!

Michelle Sent on 06/04/2018The team at Salon Maison were amazing - they accommodated my last minute request for hair and make up services for my engagement shoot, provided a wonderful experience in the Blow Out Bar (including champagne!), and delivered on their promise of photo-ready hair and make up. Not only have I had endless compliments on my make up for the shoot, but my hair stayed curled for the entire 2.5 hour shoot (this NEVER happens!). Thank you SO much! -

Jaclyn Sent on 04/26/2018Heidi and her team (she brought Ashley and Maggie along the day of) did makeup for my wedding and I honestly can’t say enough great things about their skill. My makeup as well as my bridesmaids looked OUTSTANDING. Those that got their hair done were not only happy with the way it looked, but how quick they do hair! I had other trials prior to my sister and I finding Heidi, and there was zero comparison. Heidi and her team listen and truly make you look like the best version of yourself. My now hubby was freaked out by the “bridal makeup” thing because they tend to look too heavy, almost like dance recital makeup. He was very impressed just by my trial and he’s not really one to care much about makeup or hair! Go with this team if you are getting married in the general area. You won’t be disappointed! Sweetest girls with patience and talent! OH, and the fake lashes they use are stunning! THANK YOU LADIES! Pictures below!

Ceann Sent on 03/16/2018So glad I find this company on Weddingwire. After checking with several other companies, this was by far the cheapest. I was leary as the saying goes, you get what you paid for. But they had such great reviews, so I booked them. I am so glad I did, they were so helpful and suggested I not go with airbrushing which I originally wanted. The gal was on time, actually a few minutes early and was so professional and I didn't need to have her change a thing. All my friends were very impressed as well. I will definitely be using them again.

They did a great job of moving through everyone in a timely matter, and were not irritated when a few people were late. I loved how the lady who worked with me was very flexible with changes on my hair. We did not have a trial before so we had to adjust my hair a few times. She was very patient and sweet. I also loved my makeup, because it didn't look caked on, and brought out my small eyes perfectly to make them look bigger. Overall I was very happy with how everyone looked and the professionalism of the women who worked on us. -

Choosing someone to do my hair and makeup for the day of my wedding was the most stressful thing I have ever had to do, but I found salon maison and loved the review photos and thought they were decently priced. I will start with my only negative comment which is that they never answer their phone, BUT other than that once I met my hair stylist I was in HEAVEN, HEIDI was wonderful and she did my hair and she did my moms hair and makeup. she was fabulous and worked with me to find exactly what I wanted. she was kind and super helpful, my hair WHICH WAS AN UPDO stayed in place all day and all night long!!! it felt secure and was gorgeous. she was on time to the venue the day of the wedding, she even beat me there! 100% would recommend Heidi to everyone. -

I recently had an experience with Salon Maison that left me disappointed, despite initially having high hopes based on their reputation. The makeup team arrived late, which caused a significant delay in our scheduled timeline.
While the quality of the makeup and hair services was satisfactory, the issues with punctuality, as well as the confusion regarding the timeline, overshadowed the experience. Additionally, despite paying for certain services (such as lashes), we didn’t use them, and I requested a partial refund for the inconvenience.
After several back-and-forth communications, Salon Maison offered a $60 refund for the unused lashes and service, which I found to be an insufficient response considering the circumstances and money paid to the salon. The delays and overall lack of proper communication and accommodation led me to decide that I will not be using their services again.
I hope Salon Maison takes this feedback seriously to improve their client experience moving forward. -

Worst wedding vendor I hired
I strongly discourage potential brides from hiring Salon Maison for wedding day hair and makeup. Not only was my wedding day hairstyle very dissimilar from my preview style, the artist put our wedding schedule 1.5 hours behind. Even worse, the Salon Maison customer service response when I provided my post-wedding feedback was defensive, accusatory and not at all conciliatory.
I am including side-by-side photos of my preview style and my wedding day style, showing how poor the replication of my preview style was on my wedding day. This was the artist’s third attempt, setting us extremely behind on our wedding day timeline and requiring us to rush through photos.
This outcome was avoidable, as I notified Salon Maison when I hired them in February for my October wedding that I wanted to have my preview at least 3 months before my wedding. Salon Maison suggests previews 1-3 weeks before a wedding date, which is guidance I have never heard and which is suspicious given their final balance is due 1 month before your wedding date. When I reached out to schedule my preview in mid-June (4 months before my wedding), I was only offered one available date in late June until late September because of my artist’s upcoming maternity leave for July through mid-September, so I scheduled my preview for that date.
The morning of my scheduled preview, I called Salon Maison to confirm my appointment before driving 1.5 hours to their salon. They informed me that for an admitted error on their end, my preview had been removed from their schedule and I would not be able to have my preview with my artist until September, one month before my wedding. I told them that I was very uncomfortable waiting that long and so the solution I suggested was that I would pay for 2 previews - one on August 7 with another artist to workshop the style and one on September 19 with my day-of artist to confirm she could replicate the look.
I was pleased with my first preview and provided some minor feedback via email, suggesting that I no longer needed the makeup preview but would like to keep the second hair preview. I was told that wasn’t necessary as videos, instructions and photos had been shared with her and she was familiar with the style.
On my wedding day, the artist’s first attempt at my hair looked NOTHING like my preview style. I showed her multiple photos I had taken of my preview style and she said she hadn’t seen any photos of those angles and had only been provided with one photo, which she showed me. She tried twice more and finally I had to accept that result with because we were so behind on our schedule. As the photos show, this style was messier, less even and generally inconsistent with the preview style.
A month after my wedding, I emailed Salon Maison that I was disappointed with my experience. I received a defensive response that my artist was happy with her result and included multiple statements that are at odds with my recollection of the day. Salon Maison also shifted the blame for the preview scheduling situation to me, failing to acknowledge the scheduling error on their end that cost me my initial preview date or the fact that I was willing to pay for a second preview to accommodate their error. They also disregarded the clear differences between the styles and claimed that a minor day-of request I made was to blame.
Salon Maison was my worst wedding vendor experience by far and the only vendor I regret hiring for my wedding. -
