Perfect hair & make up
Dear Salon a go go Team,
I am writing to share my wonderful experience with Jenny, who handled my hair and makeup for my daughter’s wedding on June 12 at the O’Brien’s Sleepy Hollow bridal suite.
Jenny did exactly what I asked for, and the results were perfect. She is incredibly talented; I simply showed her a picture and she made the look even better than the inspiration.
I highly recommend Jenny for anyone in need of hair and makeup services. Thank you for the excellent work.

Jenny was absolutely fantastic to work with. She did my bridal hair as well as the hair of my 6 bridesmaids and MIL on my wedding day. Jenny was punctual, kind, and responsive to feedback. I did a trial with her and she made all of the changes I requested. She also moves quickly (but not that you feel rushed) so we didn’t need to get up at the crack of dawn which was so nice. My hair came out exactly as envisioned and it held all day despite pouring rain! Would recommend her to anyone. -

Salon A Go Go was absolutely incredible for our wedding! From the very beginning, Jenny was wonderful to work with. She responded quickly, communicated clearly, and coordinated everything for the day of so seamlessly.
With two brides and two bridal parties, we had a lot of ladies needing hair done, and Carrie and Chelsea handled it effortlessly. They worked side by side in the same room, kept everything moving smoothly, and made everyone look stunning. Our bridal parties were so happy with their hair, and my wife and I were absolutely obsessed with how ours turned out, it was even better than we imagined.
Carrie and Chelsea were professional, kind, and so talented. They made the morning stress-free and fun, and we couldn’t be more grateful for how beautiful they made everyone feel. We cannot recommend Salon A Go Go enough! -

Jenny was a wonderful HMU artist and I really enjoyed working with her throughout the whole process! I did two HMU trials with her to really nail down my looks because I couldn’t decide if I wanted to do my hair up or down. I loved both looks so much that I ended up booking a separate appointment with her so she can do the updo for my rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding and then do the down look for the actual wedding. She was also really flexible when I had to reschedule my trial with her so I could do it together with my dress fitting. On the day of the wedding Jenny came on time in the morning with all her tools, consulted with my mother, my mother in law, and sister in law about their looks and worked quickly to get all our hair and make-up done. We actually finished ahead of time! Jenny was also so nice to chat with and was such a calming presence throughout the day. I absolutely recommend her! Thank you Jenny! -

Where do I even begin! Jennie felt like someone I've known for years - she's kind, personable, and makes you feel like a princess on your big day.
I had myself, 3 bridesmaids, my sister in law, mother, and mother in law all done up for the big day and she executed with ease!
I did a trial (which I highly recommend!) and we tweaked things up and she literally perfected what I wanted.
Jennie and her team (shoutout Chantel!) are incredible and are a must have if you're getting married in the upstate NY area.

Working with Jenny and Chantel for my wedding this past December was amazing!!! I have never felt more beautiful-my hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted!- and my bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning! We all felt and looked gorgeous. Amazing experience from trial to wedding and all communication in between! I needed hair and make up for myself and my 10 girls and flower girl in Ellicottville, NY and Salon A Go Go did an amazing job. I cannot recommend them enough. Taylor was our MUA and Alycia was our hair stylist.
I've had my hair and make up done before as a bridesmaid several times and I didn't love it every time so it was very important for me to pick trustworthy people who would make my girls (and myself) feel beautiful on my wedding day. Taylor and Alycia made me feel so special and beautiful on my day. All my girls loved their looks as well. Some of my girls had some out-of-the-ordinary hair requests (you know, other than the standard up-do) for Alycia and she truly nailed it. My sister in law asked for a french twist and she said it was the best french twist she's ever had. My other cousin asked for "viking hair" and Alycia knocked it out of the park. For make up, some of my younger bridesmaids were worried about "not looking like themselves" as it was their first time getting their make up done - both left taking selfies and telling me how much they loved getting their make up done. I highly recommend them bottom of my heart!! -

I am so happy I found Salon-a-Go-Go and booked them for my New Year’s Eve wedding in downtown Buffalo! Jenny (owner) is so nice and easy to work with- from our initial conversation to scheduling a trial and coordinating the day-of schedule it was so smooth (which I really appreciated since I was wedding planning from a distance). I had a large group (13 of us) getting ready and Jenny (hair/makeup), Chantel (makeup) and Alycia (hair) did an amazing job!! They styled everyone’s hair perfectly and listened to makeup requests/preferences all while staying on schedule! Jenny, Chantel and Alycia were so friendly and calm which made the bridal suite environment super relaxing and comfortable for getting ready! Everyone looked gorgeous, incredibly natural, and we all received tons of compliments throughout the day! Huge thank you to Chantel who did an amazing job with my rehearsal dinner and wedding makeup and Jenny for doing my wedding hair flawlessly! I didn’t have one smudge of makeup or a strand of hair fall out from 1pm to when our after party ended at 2am, which I thought was nearly impossible..! Jenny also did a great job securing my veil which I was nervous would fall out! I’m so glad I was lucky enough to have Salon-a-Go-Go as my wedding hair and makeup team and I highly recommend them to any bride!! -

Going with Salon a Go Go was the single best decision I made for my wedding! I was so nervous, since I didn't have a makeup trial. I'm Asian, my bridesmaids are Asian and Puerto Rican, and even though Cari didn't have as much experience with non-white features, she absolutely knocked it out of the park! I couldn't be happier with my wedding day look, and it honestly kicked off my entire day (that tbh started kinda rocky), and turned it around completely :) -

When I was looking for someone to do Hair and Makeup for myself and my bridal party, I wanted someone who could be onsite and possibly willing to travel. I was getting married in a small town about an hour away from Buffalo, NY and an hour to an hour and a half away from Rochester, and I was concerned no one was going to be able or want to make the trip out. I came across Salon A Go-Go on Wedding Wire and saw that they were for Buffalo/Rochester brides and I reached out to see if they could have artists travel out to Ellicottville, NY and they were! Jenny was so great to work with and did an excellent job communicating with me throughout the process and connecting me with Paige (Make-Up Artist) and Kristine (Hair Artist). I could not have a better duo for my wedding! Both Paige and Kristine did a phenomenal job on myself and my 4 bridesmaids and mom and mother-in-law. Everyone looked beautiful! I highly recommend Salon A Go-Go! -

After reaching out to Jenny and figuring out the details she put me in touch with her Rochester team, Chelsea and Lorry. They were amazing! I had my trial makeup and hair done two months before the wedding and they were very flexible with scheduling since I no longer live in the area and was only there for a holiday weekend. They showed up right on time to my hotel room the day of and they completed all my girls’ hair and makeup right on schedule. I ended up making a change on what I wanted done to my hair and Chelsea knew exactly what to do. I’m so glad I made the change because my hair was beautiful and stayed pretty much perfect all day. My makeup also stayed on all day and I was given a little goodie bag with lip gloss and some other extras to take with me. I highly recommend Salon a Go Go, and Chelsea and Lorry. -

We hired Salon A GoGo to do hair for nine bridesmaids, a bride and the mother of the bride for my October 2021 wedding. Originally we were scheduled to have two stylists but unfortunately one got COVID at the last minute and we were down to one stylist. Jenny, the owner, was extremely apologetic and communicative about one of her stylists getting sick. I appreciated that they were so transparent and obviously took COVID safety seriously! Angel ended up being a total champ and did everyone's hair as a solo stylist and kept us running on schedule. I had previously done a trial with Angel and gave her some notes between the trial and day-of and she nailed my feedback and gave me the most perfect bridal hair I could have asked for. She was able to do a variety of different requests for my bridesmaids and even made my mom (who very rarely has her hair professionally styled) feel beautiful and confident. I would also note that Angel had to travel about two hours to our wedding site and arrived on time and ready to roll. I so appreciated her positivity and professionalism on what was a pretty stressful day for me. Thank you, Angel and Salon A GoGo! -

Both ladies were absolutely amazing!!!! Kristine was the sweetest and she really out did mine and my bridesmaids hair. We also had the pleasure of having Taylor do our makeup and my goodness I was blown away with the results. I was looking for a natural look but something to make my eyes pop and look bigger and she mastered it all! Jenny and her team were AMAZING. They worked out the best timeline with my photographer to make sure there was enough time for the girls to have their hair and makeup done before taking getting ready pictures. She traveled to me that morning and was on time. She listened to each girl to have an understanding of what they wanted their hair and makeup to look like and nailed each look. All the girls, moms and myself looked stunning. We received compliments all night long! I personally had air brush make up and it staid on all night, despite the dancing all night long! I am so grateful for Jenny and her team! My maid of honor had her hair and make up done by Jenny for another wedding and had a good experience, so hiring Salon A Go Go was a quick decision for me when I first started wedding planning, and I am so thankful that I did! Jenny and her team were absolutely amazing. They managed to do nine people's hair and make up in a little over 4 hours and everyone looked stunning! Jenny did hair and make up and had Robin (make up) and Alyssa (hair) assisting her for our wedding. All three women were extremely professional and easy to work with. What I appreciated most about them was that they took the time to listen to everyone about what they wanted and ensured everyone was comfortable with their look, which was especially important for the moms who were apprehensive about having their hair and make up done. Jenny and her team were able to work at a fairly fast past without ever seeming rushed or stressed, and I truly appreciated their calm energy on the morning of my wedding. Jenny is very easy to work with. She responds quickly to emails and laid out a general schedule for us in advance. My mom and I went to her home to have a hair trial about a month before the wedding, which was also a very pleasant experience. I wore my hair up, but wanted my natural curls to still be visible, and Jenny did a great job pulling off just that. I highly recommend choosing Salon A Go Go for your wedding or any other event. -

Jenny did the hair and makeup for my maid of honor and me along with the makeup for my mom. She did a fantastic job! I'm not someone who wears a ton of makeup and I have naturally curly hair. Jenny did a great job dolling me up but keeping me feeling natural. She worked with my natural curls and did my makeup in a way that looked glamorous but not too much. She was also easy to communicate with and had an easy planning process. She arrived to the hotel room on time and got everybody ready right on schedule! I highly recommend her! -

We got cancelled on twice by different hair stylists but Salon A Go Go came through in the clutch and on a holiday weekend! I didn't even do a trial (no time) but Lisa knew exactly what I wanted just by my verbal description. -

I chose to use this company after my experience with my sister's wedding which Salon a go go also did. Jenny and Alyssa did our hair and make up on my wedding day. They were prompt, professional, sweet, and did an amazing job. I am not a huge make up person- they made us all look natural. It was definitely helpful to do a trial with Jenny ahead of time. I would recommend them 100%. -

Will Make You Look and Feel Beautiful!
Jenny and her team were such a delight to work with! From the trial to the day of the wedding, Jenny was so attentive and efficient. My makeup looked flawless and natural, even late into the night. I went through a few hairstyle ideas and Jenny was great with helping me narrow down the option that would fit me best. Her team even made accommodation for last minute hair and makeup add ons. Everyone we worked with at Salon A Go GO was friendly, professional, and incredibly talented. I couldn't recommend Salon A Go Go more highly! -

Talented and Attentive to Detail
Jenny did an amazing job on both our hair and makeup. I reached out to her and she immediately responded with the different packages she offered. She was very kind and answered all my questions about the pricing and logistics. We first met for my hair and makeup trial. I showed her pictures and she even incorporated beads from my moms veil into my hair which I wanted. As she was doing my hair and makeup she would stop and make sure she was following what I wanted. When she was done she even made a few tweaks until it was exactly what I was looking for. Before the wedding she went over the schedule with me. On the day of the wedding Jenny was on time and prepared. She kept everything moving along and on schedule. She asked each bridesmaid what they were looking for and made changes if it was not exactly what they wanted. We were all super happy with our hair and make up. I would highly recommend Jenny to anyone, she is a very talented and attentive to detail.

Beautiful Hair and Make-up
Salon-a-go-go came to my house and did all of the make up and hair for me, my bridesmaids, the mother of the bride and mother of the groom. I had done 2 hair trials and then decided to change my hair a week before the wedding. Sarah did an AMAZING job and my hair was everything I had hoped for. Jenny did my make up and it turned out beautifully. Paige did the make- up for most of my bridesmaids and they also looked gorgeous! Jenny always communicated with me and did everything I asked! I could not have asked for a better hair and make up team! I would highly recommend. -

Jenny was Fantastic!
Jenny was fantastic! I am about a year and half late to review her but she was awesome. I was struggling to find an artist for my big day because I was living out of town at the time but when I found her she gave up a Saturday last minute for a trial because I was going to be in town. I don't wear a lot of make up and she gave me a beautiful natural look. I was comfortable all day. Although not all of my bridesmaids used Jenny for makeup she helped a few of my girls with eyelashes. She provided her cell number the day of in case of emergency although it wasn't needed. My makeup lasted all day and into the next morning. Overall great experience with Jenny, great price, professional. -

I had my wedding this past September and had Rebecca and Chelsea come to the hotel prior to the wedding to do hair and makeup. Chelsea did bridesmaids hair and Rebecca did my hair and makeup and also bridesmaids makeup. Both of them were absolutely terrific to work with. I also exchanged emails with Jenny along the way to organize everything. I did a hair trial before as well, and as an out of town bride, it was helpful that Rebecca could come to me to do the hair trial. Jen was an AMAZING hair stylist. During my trial, my hair refused to cooperate and look like the beautiful curls I dreamt of on my wedding day. Jen kept trying different things until she figured out how to work with my difficult hair. I have straight, thin hair and she gave me full, luxurious curls. On my wedding day, she made my hair look like everything I had in mind. She was really friendly and accommodating. She did my hair along with three of my bridesmaids and each hairstyle was completely different and exactly what that person wanted. I would highly recommend her and Salon a Go Go to anyone! -

I work with Jenny professionally, using her hair and make up services in my Boudoir and Beauty photography studio. So, I get to see Jenny quite a bit! After working with several hair and makeup artists over the years and having photographed hundreds of weddings, I've seen a lot of hair and makeup artists. All I can say is she is AWESOME at what she does!! Firstly, Jenny is not only very talented, but she is just super nice and friendly to work with. Jenny is so personable with my clients and has a lovely calming presence. She is also so dependable. When I give her a date for a session, she gets back to me almost immediately to confirm availability and updates me when any dates are no longer available. If you are looking for on-site hair and makeup for your wedding, look no further! Jenny did a fantastic job with my hair and makeup. It was the best hair and makeup job I have ever had by any hair or makeup artist, and I’ve been in quite a few weddings! She really listened to me when I asked for natural-looking makeup which is hard to come by. The best part was my hair and makeup looked just as great at the end of our night full of hugs and crazy dancing as it did right after she finished in the early afternoon. Everyone from my 2 young cousins, bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law all seem to love their hair and makeup, and I thought they all looked gorgeous. Jenny and her team are also affordable, charging a similar amount I have paid in salons when most will charge quite a bit more to travel on-site. I am so happy I went with her! -

Amber Sent on 10/14/2018My overall experience with Salon A Go Go was 5/5 stars. Jenny was extremely responsive with all my inquiries and was very accommodating as I was an out of town bride. She worked with me to come up with a bridal look and was able to recreate what I wanted from Pintrest during the trial. On the day of my wedding she was on time and very helpful with all my girls. We managed to stay on schedule and had fun during the whole process. I would highly recommend her and her company! -

We met the day of our engagement photos for a trial and I knew she was the vendor for me! Then, setting up the details for the day-of was so easy and stress-free. We had 10 hair/make-up sessions to coordinate the morning of and Jenny and her team delivered! Laura Sent on 09/08/2018I had such a great experience working with Lorry for makeup and Chelsea for hair! After coordinating with Jenny, the owner, I met with Chelsea at her house and Lorry at my house for trials. After having a trial from a salon that I left in tears, I was on cloud nine and so confident after each of those trials. I rarely wear makeup or do my hair, so it was important to me to look like a bride but still like myself. They both listened to what I was asking for and were very kind and offered different options. On the actual day, I loved my look--very natural makeup and beautiful, soft, side-swept updo. They were each at the ceremony site all morning and we were finished with time to spare for pictures. My bridesmaids and mom were really happy with how their hair and makeup turned out, too. I recommend them one hundred percent!

Katelyn Sent on 08/28/2018I used Lauren for makeup and couldn’t have been happier!!! I’m not used to wearing a lot of make up and she really took her time on trials with me until I felt comfortable. On the day of she was on time if not early and kept to a schedule perfectly making every girl look beautiful. Jenny help to coordinate my contract and the communication between Lauren and I which was very helpful and always quick with responses. Highly recommend!!!

Jenny was so easy to communicate with and very personable and sweet at my trial appointments. We had a very early start and a long day and all the girls felt and looked fabulous from beginning to end! Jenny and her team were able to complete 9 hairs and 10 makeups in 3.5 hours to get us to our early ceremony, and each girl got the attention they deserved and were never rushed. Lina Sent on 06/11/2018Jenny and her team are wildly talented!! I had never met Jenny and did my trial the night of the rehearsal dinner. It was a big gamble but it paid off--Jenny was able to make me feel beautiful and like myself, and made my 13 bridesmaids look stunning. Her team was professional, respectful, and was able to deal with multiple skin tones and hair styles. They came to the hotel room I was staying at and were able to get 14 girls plus mother of bride ready in under 4 hours. Jenny even stayed a few extra hours for touch ups so that i could refresh after the excitement of first look pictures. We could not have gotten more lucky with Salon a Go Go and recommend them fully!

Our wedding party was super small and Jenny was one of the few that would accommodate based on a number of service basis rather than number of people - I greatly appreciated that! Jenny always responded super fast to my questions and was very flexible when scheduling my trial for our engagement photos. I really enjoyed the trial! Not only did I get a chance to see for myself her amazing work but we got a chance to talk and get to know each other and I think that definitely made both hair & makeup sessions more personal. Jenny is very down to earth, super easy to talk to, funny and sweet... she helped settle my nerves on my wedding day and made me feel very special. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup but I wanted to glam it up for both the engagement photos & my wedding day while still looking like me and I couldn't have been more happy with the results! Jenny did my maid of honor's hair & makeup and the hair of a dear friend who did a reading at the ceremony. Both of my friends were thrilled with her work and loved Jenny! Jenny is a true professional and a master of her art, she is professional, flexible, customer service is off the charts, pricing is very reasonable and is the kind of person you'd want to have a cup of coffee or glass of wine with - I couldn't recommend her any higher! I hope to have my hair & makeup done by Jenny in the future, actually I wish she could do it every day! Thank you, Jenny!!!

I am not from the Buffalo area so getting married in my husband's hometown and planning from afar had it's difficult moments. She and Lauren came to our bridal suite to do hair and makeup. They were both very accommodating, as my sister decided last minute that she did want to get her hair and makeup done as well. On top of that, my maid of honor changed her mind on her hair after it was completed. Jenny didn't even bat an eye and redid it. Thank you Jenny. You guys are AMAZING!! -

Jenny and her team were absolutely amazing. They always responded to every request and the day of all I can say is WOW! Every girls make up and hair looked stunning. Everyone was beyond pleased. And for our wedding I ended up with a more natural look! It was perfect! I don't care for my picture being taken but I loved the way I looked thanks to Jenny's work! It even held up perfectly after all my crying! My bridesmaids as well all love their makeup for the day and they all looked fantastic!

I met with Jenny prior to my wedding and she did a trial run. She was so great about listening to what I wanted and making sure that I was happy. I felt so good after the trial run, and had no worries about how my makeup would look the day of the wedding. Jenny was great with time-management, responding quickly to any questions I had, and she made us look beautiful on my wedding day. Although we did have a major hiccup the day of the wedding with one of my stylists being in the hospital, Jenny was beyond amazing with how she handled the situation. She had already found a replacement stylist before I even knew about the problem and they had arrived well ahead of our scheduled start time as well! All of my bridesmaids looked gorgeous! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for on-site hair/makeup! -

She was a pleasure to work with, and made me feel gorgeous. She was totally flexible while I changed my mind on the hairstyle I wanted a few times, and it worked out perfectly on the wedding day.
Jenny and a team member came to my parents house the morning of the wedding to do hair and makeup for me, 4 bridesmaids, and 2 moms, and it was all done on time and beautifully! Everyone looked wonderful and felt great, and everything lasted through a long day of photos, wedding, and dancing.
