Outstanding wedding photographer

Russ and Liz were the obvious choice from the first time we spoke. They are incredibly easy to work with, communicative, genuine and all around wonderful. I am so grateful to have captured the love that we felt on our special day through their lens. My favorite part of the day was the first look and the decision to do this was influenced by their expertise and recommendations. Beyond the beautiful, quality photos we now have, I am most grateful for the calmness I felt working with them during what can be a chaotic sequence of events that is a wedding! As you put together your vendors during planning, it’s hard to comprehend how much of an influence it will have - I can tell you, it makes a difference and you cannot go wrong with these two!

Absolute professionals and amazing people

Overall: Russ and Liz went ABOVE AND BEYOND some very difficult situations with us (scheduling from a distance, COVID 19 reschedule, and then the wedding got rained out)... they were amazing the whole time:

From the outset, Russ was an absolute professional. We were planning from a distance and he offered to meet with me through FaceTime (this was Pre-Covid.). I LOVED his photos online and also his offer to take us through Acadia National Park to all the really great photo spots that he and Liz know. Well.. then COVID happened. Russ was an amazing communicator and we heard from him way before we heard from any other vendor (and some we didn't hear from at all until we reached out). He had a plan in place. We were forced to reschedule and he was amazingly flexibly and didn't charge us any change fees (I'm from NJ and a lot of people were charged here to change their dates due to covid.. we got very lucky).

Anyway fast-forward to a lot of flexibility and planning with him, he proposed a really nice schedule but was open to changes and was very easy to work with.

He and Liz drove up the day before and came to our rehearsal (not guaranteed he was able to do this but it was lucky they didn't have anything the day before). It looked like it was going to rain out so he took our entire bridal party through where to stand and pose for the best light both indoors and outdoors. The next day: it POURED. We still managed to get two of the spots photographed in Acadia, but the ceremony had to be inside. He was fantastic the entire time. Great attitude and just so helpful and supportive. So was Liz!

Here is the most amazing part: since we would be driving through their town on our way back to NJ (about 2 hours south) they offered to take MORE PHOTOS on the coast in a very beautiful spot near their home. They photos turned out amazing (including that drone shot we couldn't do because of the rain) and we got to put all our stuff back on.

The photos turned out great! Everything was very timely and he has remained very quick to respond in all our communications after the wedding.

You would be crazy NOT to hire him!!!

Genuine and stress free

Get your wedding pictures done with russell Caron photography! Russ and Liz both become your friends. Liz did our shoot and made it so fun and relaxing. At first I was sad Russell couldn’t join us but Liz was sensational. Her eye for her shots are stunning. She always smiles and is in the moment just like you are. They put together a GORGEOUS wedding album for us and even when I though I was being picky Russ would always respond I want it perfect for you and I know he spent a lot of time! ( even moving pictures on the fold). I truly know you will not gain anything but trust and a friend. We live in Massachusetts (south of Boston) and I found them through online and I’m grateful. We did a first look and Liz walked us through everything. I promise you’ll be happy! Such kind people! That’s what people need and want especially planning a wedding away!

Best Photographers We Could Have Asked For!

Russ and Liz are true professionals and we are so grateful to them for all they did to make our wedding day perfect!!! They are kind, extremely organized, and made us feel comfortable from the first time we worked with them at our engagement photo shoot. On the actual wedding day they helped us stick to our timeline and also took us to a few offsite locations which was a great way to have some alone time! The first look was by far one of our favorite parts of the wedding day and Russ & Liz captured every moment of it while still making us feel like it was just us two. They came to our rehearsal the night before which was truly above & beyond and helped us find the perfect place to put a video camera for my Grandma who could not attend the wedding. This really meant so much to us!

We can not thank them enough for giving us the most beautiful wedding photos that we'll cherish forever. Their photos are so "in the moment" that when we look at them it takes us right back to that moment in time on our special day. BEST wedding photographers ever!

5 stars is not enough for Russ & Liz!! We had an absolutely fantastic time working with them both throughout our wedding planning process and day-of. They really went above and beyond from day 1, with Russ recommending many other vendors for us – this knowledge was particularly helpful for us as out-of-towners! They are extremely organized and professional (not to mention some of the nicest people we've met!), constantly checking in and updating us throughout the process – their extremely detailed timeline kept us right on track our entire day and kept things running smoothly. Pro tip – highly recommend the first look and artistic set they suggest!! They even popped over to our ceremony rehearsal the day before our wedding to greet us and share a few helpful tips!! And to top it all off, our pictures are BEAUTIFUL – we are obsessed with them and so happy to have such an amazing way to remember our day!! They truly captured the love, laughter and fun of our day and we can’t thank them enough – we will cherish these memories for years to come. We have received SO many compliments from friends and family on how gorgeous our pictures turned out. Not to mention, we received our blog post of pictures just DAYS after the wedding which was such a nice treat for us as we were relaxing on a mini getaway! I wish I had more events for them to photograph but until then, can’t recommend Russ & Liz enough – they are worth every penny and more!

We had a fantastic time with Russ and Liz at our wedding! Prior to our wedding Russ was extremely responsive and provided great suggestions around how to prepare for the day which proved to be super helpful as the day of our wedding flew by! Russ and Liz also made the effort to come to the rehearsal at the venue to scope the place out before the big day. Additionally they went around the town to see what locations would be the best backdrops for photos. The day of Russ and Liz made us feel comfortable being photographed for our first look and we had a blast doing the drone shots too! During the wedding they were flies on the wall, as we were enjoying our day they were documenting away. The initial photos came out amazing! They truly captured the day - the love, the beautiful scenery and the happiness we were surrounded by. A big thanks to Russ and Liz - we are so happy you were part of our day and can't wait to see the rest of the photos, we are confident these will be forever cherished! Thank you!

Where do I even begin?! Russ and Liz were one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process. They made our engagement shoot so fun and we could not wait to see them again at our wedding. At our wedding we felt like they were more so our friends than our photographers. Not only are our photos beyond beautiful, they got them to us SO fast! We had our full gallery only a few weeks after the wedding. Just a day or two after our wedding they created the most beautiful black and white slide show that we still watch every day and have received endless compliments on. Do yourself a favor and book these amazing photographers!!!

Russell is a top-notch professional. I originally picked him for the quality of the photos I found of his online, but the deal was sealed for me when I learned now organized he is. He presented a detailed plan for how the day could go, and was flexible when things came up. He ended up being my buddy for the day; he and Liz are delightful people. He is a non-intrusive photographer, once the ceremony and reception got going I barely noticed them around. In the end, we received excellent, high-quality photos. You get what you pay for with Russ.

You will not be disappointed if you choose Russ and Liz to photograph your event. They are the sweetest most encouraging pair that instantly made us feel comfortable. Feeling like ourselves made us able to pose naturally and get the best results and the most gorgeous photos in both our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. They really took the time to get to know us as a couple and who our closest family members and friends were so that all of our important memories were well documented. They were able to capture the emotions of our wedding day with skill and creativity and we were so thrilled with the quality of their work. They are lighthearted, easygoing and give a lot of positive feedback during the shoot which makes it a lot more fun and is important to capturing good moments. Russ and Liz know exactly which moments to capture to create a full documentation of your day and they do so artfully. During our first look they made us feel like we were the only two there and were able to create a private and intimate time for us as a couple all the while capturing some of the best raw emotions of the moment. Where to begin, where to begin! We are beyond fortunate to have found Russ and Liz. We cannot even begin to imagine working with anyone besides them to capture our wedding the way that they did. We were highly impressed with the professionalism and creative mind and vision that they both share. You hear horror stories about hiring certain vendors and being disappointed. This is not the case at all with these two. Just looking at their work it completely speaks for themselves. We truly, truly cannot speak highly enough of them. Anyone who sees our photos cannot stop complementing on how beautiful they truly are. We would hire them again without any doubt or hesitation. They both are true geniuses in their craft.

Russ and Liz were amazing to work with! They are both so nice and easy going, and they immediately make you feel comfortable and beautiful in front of the camera. The first time we met them was when we did our engagement shoot in Boston. It was so nice to do the engagement shoot, not only for the pictures, but it was basically a test run of what taking photos for the wedding would be like. It definitely helped on the wedding day that we already had a connection with them (and thought of them as friends!) and we knew their picture taking style.

We also loved how organized they were before and during the wedding day. A month or so before the wedding they sent us a tentative timeline of when certain pictures would be taken. It was so nice to have this to help plan the exact timing of everything during the wedding day. We shared the timeline with the hair and makeup vendors, the wedding party, and our families so everybody knew exactly where to be and when. This helped the day run very smoothly.

We absolutely loved our pictures and we loved being able to easily share their blog posts with all our friends. They really knew how to incorporate all of the coastal New England charm that we wanted into our photos. The only small negative is that I thought our formal pictures with our families and wedding party were a little too rushed. But, I know if we would have spoken up they would have taken more time. We only ended up with one picture of each group and they didn’t turn out as great as some of the artistic shots of just the two of us. The amazing shots they got of us before and during the ceremony far outweigh the fact that we only ended up with a few formal family pictures. It just depends on what your priorities are.

From start to finish our experience with Russell Caron Wedding Photography was amazing. Both Russ & Liz were incredibly professional throughout the entire process and worked seamlessly with us even though we live in California. We were fortunate to meet Russ & Liz on an early trip back to Maine and get to know them a bit better. We were able to talk through some details and things to consider before weighing in on our final decisions. They were very helpful with not only photos but also gave input and advice on other vendors we were still looking to book.

The attention to detail they put into everything really goes a long way. They sent over a very detailed agenda for the day and it was incredibly helpful. We knew where we needed to be and when and pictures went flawlessly. We loved working with Russ & Liz and they made our day perfect. They are a great team and exemplify professionalism as well as fun and energetic to work with.

We fell in love with their style after looking through their website. We loved the artistic nature of the photos and the beauty they capture of not only us (the bride and groom) but of the enviroment around us. We choose to be married in Kennebunkport, ME in the fall because of the beautiful rocky coastline, the pristine beaches and the beautiful New England fall colors. They captured all of that and more. We have two beautiful canvases hanging in our home now and receive endless compliments on. In addition, they captured the moments of the day perfectly. We couldn't be happier with Russell Caron Wedding Photography and highly recommend them.

While wedding planning I often sought advice from other brides. I was told by some the biggest mistake they had made was not finding a quality photographer. The moment I saw Russell & Lizs photos I knew I wanted them to be my wedding photographers .
The when we met with them they were extremely professional. With such positively happy yet, calming personalities. We sat down and created our whole wedding timeline with them, which we followed the day of wedding. It made A day that could've felt rushed and stressful run smoothly allowing so much happiness.
Rus and Liz were wonderful to work with throughout the whole day they made you Realize and feel how Special each moment was . Our pictures themselves came out phenomenal ! All we have left now that the day has passed is our pictures and our memories Thanks to Liz and Rus we can look back and smile at all the love, emotion and beauty of that day because they somehow managed to capture it all.

Russ and Liz BLEW us away with the photos! They are both so talented and wonderful, kind people - people you are so lucky to work with. Not only did Russ and Liz have everything planned down to the minute, they made a packed schedule seem like a breeze. They were also able to accommodate special requests on the fly and make the whole photo taking process seem so natural. I'm absolutely in love with the photos and have received so many comments from guests about how the photos are "beautiful", "out of a magazine", "unreal", and - most importantly - "captured the joy and love from the day". We were fortunate to connect with Russell Caron Photography six years ago, when our oldest daughter was married in Boston. The memories he preserved with his spectacular photos are priceless. Russell and Liz were two of the nicest people! They made our day so comfortable and easy! We never had to worry about asking to take a photo, they are so experienced that they took them all. We had a scare of a storm on our wedding day so we were fast with getting our photos with the family and wedding party. Luckily the day before they scouted a perfect beach to take some photos of just the groom and I, so after the family portraits we hopped in their car and went to the beautiful beach with the dramatic sky as a back drop, a couple rain drops started to fall but I had my heart set on one more place (where we got engaged) for a few more photographs. The rain didn't stop us! Our photos turned out amazing! Thank you Russell and Liz!

Russ and Liz of Russell Caron Wedding Photography exude talent and professionalism beyond expectations. They are fun, easy-going, courteous, and exceedingly knowledgeable to all facets of capturing our wedding day.
We met them a year before our wedding day when they came to our home to take engagement photos. During that time, we chatted with each other and discussed what the wedding day would entail and benefits of the first look. If you are at all on the fence of doing a first look, I would highly suggest taking their advice and doing it. There are so many benefits of doing the first look. We had a two hour session which allowed us to get the most amazing photos I have ever imagined and photos that no one I know has in their wedding album. We were able to go to multiple spots within Acadia National Park to capture our love for each other and nature. It was our private moment where we could hold each other, relax, and enjoy each other before the celebration really began. All the wedding day gitters subsided because we had the chance to be together before the ceremony.
Russ and Liz had scouted the spots the day beforehand to ensure they had the right lighting, timing, and ability to capture our desires for the photos we wanted. We worked with them on our wedding day itinerary and all of their advice and suggestions from years of experience were spot on. Between the two of them, they preserved our wedding day memories through superior natural, candid, and posed shots. They also had an incredible quick turn around on their blog of their favorite photos of the day. I have become obsessed at looking at these photos and all my family and friends are blown away (and green with envy) of the phenomenal and authentic shots that they got.
DO NOT DELAY, BOOK THEM NOW! I am so incredibly HAPPY and impressed with their work. I’d love to get married all over again just to have the chance to work with them again.

Russ and Liz were an invaluable part of our day! From the moment they knew our hair and makeup appointments had run over and thing's were going to have to shift they calmly and cooly made the changes. If it was frustrating for them, we certainly didn't know it and I so appreciated it since I was so worried! Throughout the day they captured the essence of our friends and family. The posed shots are beautiful but the candid's they captured were perfection and we will forever be grateful for all of the moments we have captured in those pictures. They blended in so well during the reception that when they were leaving I had completely forgotten they were there! That doesn't mean they didn't snag some amazing pictures of our guests dancing and the animated speeches, we were just able to sit back and enjoy it all while they captured those moments quietly and perfectly. They are an amazing team and were even willing to indulge our request for a picture at the LL Bean boot (we met working there)! Trust their eye, professionalism and flexibility, these two are worth every penny (and more!)

We were looking for artistic wedding photography and we found the perfect team with Russ and Liz! We have received so many compliments telling us that the “sneak peek” photographs could be in a magazine – such professional and artistic shots in such gorgeous Maine settings. We loved every moment working with Russ and Liz, especially in between our first look and the wedding, when just the four of us were able to check out some of our favorite spots in the area capturing really fun and incredibly unique photos! Russ and Liz have that great balance of creativity, fun and professionalism (where our first photo was already on our Facebook page within less than 24 hours and we never waited more than a day for any correspondence). Know that Russ and Liz are into photography not just to capture how great you look but how to make the best of what's around you as a piece of visual art. This is exactly the reason why we picked them over some of the other photographers whose work we also loved. If you have a venue with stunning views and scenery Russ and Liz are the way to go. They are always up to going to new places and strive to capture a photo different from any other bride and groom. We also have to comment on how organized and timely they are with their planning. They truly were attentive to making sure the bride and groom were on schedule throughout our day and everything went very smoothly! Worth the money! We decided very early to use a large portion of our wedding budget on a photographer. Russ photographed two weddings in my family prior to mine, so I was sure I would get the same great service. Now only about a month removed from our wedding, I've forgotten what the food taste like, and don't remember most of the songs the DJ played. After months of planning and preparing, our wedding day (like all others) FLEW by. Luckily for us, Russ and Lizz captured the day perfectly and crisply. From the moment we looked at Russell's website we knew that's the type photos we wanted. My husband and I are SO happy we chose Russ and Liz to photograph our wedding. We are from New York but got married in Maine, as it has been a favorite vacation place of ours for years. With that choice along came having to find vendors for one of the most important days of our lives from a different state who we knew nothing about. Our venue provided us with a list of several photographers in the area. After reviewing their work (along side of others in the area) in addition to a wonderful recommendation from our event coordinator, we were pretty confident Russ and Liz would be perfect for us! From the very first time we spoke with them on the phone, they were extremely helpful and we were excited to meet them. After meeting them for an engagement session, we knew without a doubt we had made the right decision!! Our wedding photographs are beyond incredible, and it is a great feeling to know we will always have these gorgeous images to look through to not only remind us of, but to help us relive such an amazing, magical day. Russ and Liz are outstanding - as professionals and individuals. They are extremely approachable, fun, and talented. Their work speaks for itself, but once you meet the people behind the work you will realize why the work is as wonderful as it is. My husband and I could not have been happier with Russ and Liz of Russell Caron Wedding Photography. We worked with them for our wedding as well as our engagement shoot. First of all, their photos are unbelievable. Everyone that we have shown, has been in complete awe with how beautiful they turned out. Russ and Liz are able to capture all of the little moments that you may have missed during the whirlwind of your wedding day. And, they are two of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever met. After Russell worked my sister's wedding five years ago, I knew I wanted him to photograph my wedding as well. He was extremely professional, skilled, fun, and great to work with. He was willing to go with the flow and we didn't feel like we spent all of our wedding taking pictures (which is just what we wanted)! The pictures we have seen so far are beautiful and I'm so glad we were able to work with Russell and Liz for our wedding day!

Russell and Liz photographed our wedding on 9/5/15 at Sebasco Harbor Resort. I can truly say that they were our most prized vendor- they are professional, kind, and masters of their craft. We knew immediately after our engagement session that we had made an excellent choice. Together they made us feel very comfortable and natural, and our images were nothing short of stunning. Russell and Liz also extend themselves by giving us a "sneak peek photo" the day following our wedding, followed by a highlight reel 4 days later. Our guests and families loved that they could see our pictures so soon! and so did we. I would very highly recommend Russell Caron Photography to any bride- I cannot reiterate enough how professional they are, how beautiful their images,or how smoothly the day went. We feel very lucky and blessed to have had them capture one of the most important days of our lives.

Russell and Liz were absolutely phenomenal from the first time we met with them to discuss our wedding date and ask if they were available. They were approachable, honest, funny, and reasonably priced (especially for the quality of the product we have since received!!).

On the day of the wedding Russell and Liz kept us on schedule in a very gentle way so we could get all of the shots we wanted. They brought us to multiple venues for pictures and got a variety of different shots. I can't even believe the quality of the photos that were taken. Russ and Liz are true professionals and I will recommend them to anyone who will listen to me. My brother and his fiancé are getting married next summer and I know my mom already has a twinkle in her eye about hiring Russ and Liz for them!!!

Russ and Liz are an amazing duo. My husband and I had never been professionally photographed before our wedding day, and we were a little nervous to be in the camera spotlight. Those nerves disappeared within 10 minutes of being with Russ and Liz; they created a naturally fun atmosphere which had us feeling at ease and enjoying our time center stage. We knew when we first chose to work with Russell and Liz Caron the photos they would take would be special but we could have never imagined that the photos taken for both our engagement shoot and on our wedding day would come out as incredible as they did!. Every single one is just as stunning as the next! They truly understood how important these photos were in helping to capture the events of our big day. My husband and I met Russell and Liz while we were "venue shopping", and they were shooting a wedding. Liz came over and handed us their card and suggested we check out the photos from the wedding the following week. WOW. We looked at several photographers in different price ranges, and continued to come back to Russell Caron Photography. There were lots of "disagreements" in wedding planning... but we were in complete agreement when we chose our photographer. I cannot even begin to say how much we love Russ. I have had photos taken by him a few times and every time I/we have been more than pleased. He has a way of capturing the most memorable and emotional moments with such creativity. Russell was extremely responsive from day one! He stayed in contact with us the entire time. Russell & Liz were an absolute joy to work with on the big day.They are very calm, easy going and are true professionals in everything they do. As we worked through the day, there was no question in my mind, we were in excellent hands, and I knew the pictures would all be spectacular. Both Russell & Liz blended in with the days events very well, they were more like invited guests, than they were photographers. The favorite part of the day came when Russell & Liz whisked the Bride & Groom away after the Ceremony for some shots of just the two of them in some awesome locations around York Maine. Russell & Liz knew the area and were able to get so many shots in beautiful locations.The photos were nothing short of MAGNIFICENT! My daughter and her new husband said that spending this time with Russell & Liz was so much fun, and that it was one of the highlights of their Wedding day! Our Wedding was on a Friday night, and at Saturday brunch, my daughter showed me the first picture of the two of them that Russell had already posted. I couldn't believe the turn around time! By Sunday, there were over 50 fabulous pictures from the Wedding/Reception posted on Russell's blog telling the story of Kim and Chris' Wedding. We were all blown away with the amazing pictures, and are so excited that there are even more to come. We couldn't have picked a better couple as photographers for my daughter's Wedding. I would highly recommend Russell Caron Wedding Photography. This husband-wife photography team did an outstanding job at my wedding. When I began making contacts with different photographers in the area, I immediately knew they were the right team to do my wedding. Their work is amazing and I really appreciated the fact that they are solely wedding photographers. Although I was lucky enough to have a sunny day, I felt at ease knowing that even if it was foggy I'd still have beautiful photos.
Liz and Russ were extremely responsive with communication prior to the wedding. They even drove an hour out to my wedding location the week prior to preview the area and plan for artistic shots. They had a very organized timeline for the day and even though I got almost an hour behind schedule with my hair and makeup, I never felt rushed with Russ and Liz.
Having 2 photographers with us for the day was wonderful. Both my husband and I were able to have photographs taken while we got ready and Russ and Liz worked so well together to lead us to our "first look" and other artists shots. They really make a great team and now I can't imagine not having had 2 photographers there!
I could not be more pleased with my photos. I received some of the team's "favorites" within 24 hours and the blog was up shortly after. They perfectly captured the moments and the feelings of my wedding day. The photos are also very artistic. I have received so many compliments and I will treasure my wedding photos for the rest of my life.

Russell and Liz are two professionals who were responsive and easy to work with during our entire wedding. We booked with them over a year in advance - something that is necessary as they often receive multiple requests for the same weekend. The high demand for there services is warranted. Not only were our wedding photos beautiful, but we had fun taking them. The quality of the photos show because they make sure we are enjoying ourselves during the entire process.

During the ceremony, we didn't even know they were there. They showed complete respect for the church and the wedding guests. Russell and Liz's passion for what they do shows, and we are grateful that we had the chance to work with them.

My husband and I recently eloped in Kennebunkport Maine and we selected Russell Caron Wedding Photography to photograph our day. As soon as we met Russ and his partner Liz during our planning session we knew we had made the right decision. They were both incredibly nice, very professional and instantly made us feel at ease. On the day of the wedding Russ and Liz had already scoped out several places in the area and made suggestions about places they felt would be ideal to have pictures taken. The places they suggested were some of our favorite spots in the area but places we never would have thought to suggest ourselves. We had so much fun going from place to place for pictures, Russ and Liz had us smiling all afternoon. They had our images ready in about 3 days and they were so beautiful they literally took our breath away! We have so many incredible photographs of our special day in our favorite places in Kennebunkport. They captured our wedding day better than we ever could have imagined! I first observed Russ and Liz's work at the wedding of a family friend. I was very impressed with the mix of traditional wedding photography and very creative, unique shots. In planning my daughter's wedding we considered several wedding photographers but chose Russ and Liz. Their experience and professionalism was evident in their contact, packages and work avaiable for review. Our actual experience exceeded our expectations. Throughout the planning they were avaialble and knowledgable in their advice. The final photos were stunning. I would recommend Russ and Liz with hesitation or qualification. We get emotional when we think of how well Rus and Liz captured our day! They saw things that we didn't and were there in the shadows for all the special moments that have so many stories to be told.
I truely believe this magic is due to the unspoken communication between them that made it possible to capture the breathtaking moments of the night.

Russell and Liz absolutely made our wedding day! I was an organized bride planning a small, intimate ceremony followed by an afternoon cocktail reception . My biggest fear was being the center of attention all day, especially while someone photographed me at the same time. I've never been a fan of being photographed, and I let Russ know this up front. He instantly eased my fears. On the big day, he and Liz coached me in the most warm, relaxed way. They assured me I could sit back and enjoy my day as they captured each perfect moment beautifully. The were friendly and professional, mingling with our families and taking snapshots all along the way. By the end of the day, I was sad to see them go as they had begun to feel like our friends! I have already ( 2 days later) seen a handful of photos and am beyond thrilled. I could not ask for better shots. Some of our most precious life moments with our loved ones are captured thanks to Russ and Liz!!!! I would recommend them to anyone!

Russell and his assistant, Liz, are just wonderful. My husband is very into photography and has done weddings in the past, so we knew that hiring the right photographer was crucial since he would notice if the pictures were at all sub par. No worries here. Our photos are phenomenal and these two are so easy and fun to shoot with. Our friends and family cannot stop raving over our how amazing our wedding album is. And I must also comment on how reasonably priced Russell's services is. We got top notch wedding photos without blowing our budget. Just hire him, you will not regret it! :)

Absolutely Amazing – Couldn’t Be Happier!
Russell is by far the best wedding photographer out there. He was the photographer for my friend’s wedding a few years prior, and once I saw her pictures I was hooked and knew I had to have Russ for our wedding! I don’t even know where to begin. First, Russ was extremely professional and very easy to contact! He always gave quick replies, sent reminders, and was extremely flexible. We scheduled our engagement shoot in one location and at the last minute asked if we could change it – no problem! He certainly made the whole process of touching base and planning the day simple and carefree! Now, onto the photographs… AMAZING. STUNNING. GORGEOUS. We continue to get compliments left and right on our photographs…everyone was so impressed and absolutely amazed at how gorgeous our pictures were. We certainly loved each and every one. Russell and Liz, his second shooter, both have such talent and were so fun to be around. Their artistic photography was exactly what we were looking for and made for some (all!) wonderful pictures. They were able to see what we couldn’t, put us in the right places at the right time, and took photos from all different angles to make for photos that we will cherish. Their candid photos captured exactly what our wedding day meant to us. Wedding pictures are the one reminder we have to remember and relive our day. Picking a photographer was the most important vendor for us, and Russ didn't let us down. His work is pure art. I've been in many weddings where the photos didn't capture everything, there weren't enough photos, or the photographer was dressed shabbily and always in the way of the guests. After looking for a long time, we found Russ. His style combines traditional photos with artistic, one-of-a-kind shots. Russ always responds quickly to phone and email, which was very important since we planned the wedding from 3000 miles away. He is always friendly, upbeat, and had great ideas for photos, plus he worked in all the specific images I wanted to capture. He can take your great idea and make it fabulous. People to this day keep talking about my wedding photos, how it looks 'like a fairytale,' 'like something in a magazine,' 'like a magical day.' And it was. Russ captured the essence of our wedding and gave it life on paper that we will treasure forever. And he did it despite all the weather elements. To top it all off, he helped me create my dream post-wedding shoot with two beautiful horses. I have photos walking with the horses, leaning close to them, and even some riding one in my ballgown-style wedding dress! Russ can take a photo that will capture your moments in a way you will never forget.

Russell and his assistant, Leigh photographed our June 2012 wedding. He was wonderful to work with in the months leading up to the event. Even though we were living too far away for in-person meetings, he was always quick to respond to emails, and made sure that we had plenty of phone consultations leading up to the day of. Russell was very helpful in making a plan for capturing the day on film - something that I had struggled with on my own. It was so nice to have a professional who was patient and willing to do a little hand-holding.

On our wedding day, Russell showed great flexibility when we were slightly ahead of schedule - we ended up having to meet him at our “second” prep location. When he arrived, and throughout the wedding, he was just a joy to work with; his friendly and relaxed demeanor really made us all feel so comfortable. Russell and Leigh were always in the right places, at the exact right moments during the event, and the photographs are amazing! We are so grateful to have had his artistic vision and skill in capturing, not only the photographs, but the feeling of that day.

Russell gave us the photos of our dreams. They were truly stunning and had my family in tears when we looked at them. From the start he was professional, organized, responsive and creative. He would respond to my emails in a timely matter which was very important to us and he treated us like we were his only clients. We had our pictures taken before the ceremony and Russell was able to set up a wonderful first look followed by bridal party/family pictures that turned out AMAZING! FANTASTIC! The pictures were my main concern for the wedding, and we never did an engagement shoot (even though he offered) so I was concerned going into the wedding. I could not have been more pleased! The photos are absolutely fantastic! I have never looked better and I literally felt like a supermodel the entire trip! My husband and I got married in Varenna, Italy, and Russ got himself there (without issues or a single complaint - LONG journey!) and made himself completely available the entire trip - from the night before the rehearsal dinner, the day of the rehearsal dinner, the wedding day itself, and the day after the wedding. He captured every special moment, from my husband opening my wedding-day present right before we walked down the aisle, to when I opened a present from my father right before he walked me down the aisle. Just look at the pictures and you'll see why he's so great. Truly professional.

Russ is a true professional and visionary in his field. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Russell Caron Wedding Photography. He defininetly captured all of our special details, traditions, and moments in a way far more creative than we had ever thought of. He is extremely easy to work with, very open, but also encouraging. He was open to all of our ideas, but the proof is in the pictures, leave the details to the professional! In terms of flexibility - he traveled for our engagement session and wedding, dealt with my over-controlling bride lists and agenda's, car-pooled with crazy relatives, and even attended our rehearsal. We were also amazed at how little time he spent checking images and light, he just seemed to know that he had gotten the shot off! Each time we see a set of images on the blog we cannot stop looking and sharing, and the full set is even more exciting! I have friends and relatives that have waited months and years for their images, Russ had a very quick and reasonable turn around time with his art, and we keep hearing compliments!

We are so thrilled with the photography services of Russell Caron Wedding Photography. We signed on to work with them at the last minute (less than 2 months out) after having a very disappointing engagement shoot with another photographer. I was thrilled to find out that Russ and his super partner Patti (of Kivalo Photography) were available.

They were professional, personable, helpful and FUN! Everyone enjoyed their personalities as much as we have enjoyed their photographs. We met them for the first time the Thursday before our wedding and while you would think that would be cause for concern, it was quite the opposite. We were confident in our choice to work with them from the moment we shook hands.

Russ clearly knows what he's doing and without being overbearing controls the group to ensure all the pictures you want get taken. Patti did an incredible job capturing lots of great candids, even the ones inbetween Russ's shots. They are a great duo!

We set up a photobooth at the wedding and people were able to take their own images on a self timer. We love the pictures that came out and they really help bring personality to our event.

As we wrap up the process of working on the wedding album with Patti we are reliving the day - and the pictures do, in fact, do it justice. Many thanks to them both for capturing the memories so beautifully.

Russell has a gift like none other. The photos he captured of our wedding day were more like works of art, they have literally left everyone who has viewed them speechless. Russ was absolutely amazing! Choosing him as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made. He was nothing but helpful and professional. The DAY after our wedding he had 50 amazing samples posted for us and our friends and family to view! I never imagined we'd be able to see photos so quickly! One week after the wedding he sent us a link to view all 700+ photos, which was incredible, it allowed us to relive our wedding a week later :)

We could not be more please with out photos. I highly recommend others to choose Russ as their photographer, as he didn't just take amazing photos, he documented every aspect of one of the most important days of our lives.

If I could give a higher rating than a 5.0 on all five provided categories, I would. Russell Caron Wedding Photography was everything Kevin and I could have hoped for. For the longest time, I couldn't finish writing a review for him because I never felt it was worthy of the amazing job they did at our wedding. Then I realized that said it all right there.
You will not be disappointed. After traveling to the middle of New Hampshire through a Nor'easter, 6 inches of additive snow to what was already present, and a very windy Saturday morning, somehow Russ and his team were still able to produce thousands of amazing pictures from our wedding weekend. We knew from the moment they started snapping away, we didn't have anything to worry about.

Russel Caron was my wedding photographer and was absolutely wonderful to work with! He did my engagement photos, my boudoir shoot, and of course my wedding photos! Russell Caron is, hands down, the best wedding photographer. His pictures speak for themselves and if that isn't enough, Russ himself seals the deal. My husband and I live in Nothern Virginia and planned the wedding from afar, with the exception of a few jam packed meetings on the occasional weekend visit home. Russ ALWAYS worked with us when it came to our visits to Maine.

In our conversations leading up to the wedding, Russ made sure to ask if there were specific pictures that we wanted, learned all of the important details of the day and even offered advice to make sure that we didn't miss a single opportunity to take pictures (but he never over stepped his grounds!). The night of our rehearsal, Russ even came to St. Joseph's Church in Portland because he hadn't photographed there recently. This was something that he did on his own, again to make sure that we got the best possible pictures. And we did!

There are so many beautiful pictures that I had never thought of but am so happy to have now. Russ provided the exact amount of encouragement and feedback that any nervous bride could need, his excitement and passion for his work really comes through there.

Besides having all of the digital negatives of our images, the best treat was waking up the following morning and finding a sneak peek on Facebook. Every single one of our pictures is more beautiful than the next. We love them all! I will recommend Russell Caron to all brides that I meet.

I was a friend of the bride who used Russell Caron Wedding Photography and was so impressed by his responsiveness, professionalism and of course, quality of final product. In the whole process leading up to the wedding, Russell replied most promptly and covered all the details so that he did not have to interrupt the bride and groom. On the big day, he showed up on time with multiple cameras (one reason why his work is phenomenal!) and fantastic ideas for shots. He set up great, artistic photos without being overbearing. He took the couple all around the Boston area and got amazing photos they did not request. In other words, you won't notice he is there (important for the couple) but has an eye and ability that allows him to suggest great shots a non-professional would never see. He really documented the big day beautifully and artistically all while capturing the couple's personality and wedding theme. Finally, most brides have to wait weeks–if not months–to see their photos. But with Russ, my friends and their guests saw photos the very next day! I am completely blown away and having been a bride myself and friend/bridesmaid at many other weddings, I am positive you won't be disappointed with Russell Caron Wedding Photography.

It is hard to put into words how amazing Russ has been to Mike and I. I first contacted him over two years ago to be our wedding photographer. I hadn't looked at many other people, but based on looking at his website and one phone conversation, I was pretty sure that I was going to go with Russ. We traveled to Maine in the summer of '09 and planned to meet with Russ for the first time. We told him we would probably be coming into town late, but that we really wanted to meet with him. He said it would be no problem, he would wait for us. Well, after a flight delay, then a few wrong turns en route, he kept assuring us he would still be at the office. I think we finally got there after midnight, and sure enough, Russ was there waiting for us. He took his time explaining what he does, his style, and went over all his packages in detail. He did not seem rushed or that we were putting him out. He even offered to do an engagement shoot for us while we were in the area, whenever was convenient for us. The engagement shoot was a blast, and I was so impressed with the results. I still look back at those pictures and smile, remembering the fun we had. The date we set was October 16th, 2010, but due to a deployment to Afghanistan, we had to reschedule 7 months prior to the wedding. Russ was understanding, and when the new date was set, he had no problem rescheduling. The day before the wedding, Russ came to Rockland for our rehearsal dinner. He was punctual, and was almost like a fly in the wall, just capturing the images which I know will be amazing. The day of the wedding, Russ showed up at 10am to start photographing every detail of the wedding day. He stayed with me until the party ended at a little after 10pm, taking pictures of EVERYTHING! He captured some of the most intimate moments without me even noticing he was there...everything from a kiss from my mother, to an embrace with my new husband. The fun shots that we took that day were by far, my favorite. Even though it was 34 degrees with a strong wind, Russ and his amazing second shooter Patty stood outside with us and took tons of pictures that are absolutely breathtaking! I would Highly recommend Russell Caron to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. After looking at some pictures that my friends have had done, I truly believe his work exceeds all others!

The best way I can describe Russell Caron Photography is true artistry. Russell is the most professional and kind person, my husband and I felt so comfortable with him and truly feel he is part of our family now. I look at our photos from our wedding and I feel the emotion from the day of my wedding, he captured the feelings of the day for us in his photographs. They bring tears and smiles for me when I see them. Some of the words that my husband uses to describe Russell are "he Rocks", "he is Amazing" and "he is an Artist". We can't thank him enough for all he did for us, he truly went above and beyond and not only made our day special but he has given us a gift to look back at to remember it all!

I cant thank Russ enough. He was amazing to work with. Very professional, funny, and made everyone in our weddig party feel very comfortable. I knew right from the first minute we met him he would be my photographer. Russ went out of his way to capture every special moment we had on our wedding weekend... Rehearsal dinner, hair and makeup, guys getting ready, and the actual wedding and party. He was with us for almost a full day and still gave 100% to us through the end of the night. I cant wait to get all of our photos to show off how great of a photographer Russ is.... (and how great our wedding was!!)
I told Russ at the end of the night that im sad its all over and he said 'Noelle its not over because you will have your photos soon and will be able to relive all the great memories you made for years to come with them' and he was right. I cant wait to get the full set and look at them all the time.

As the mother of the bride, I was the one who had to keep reminding my daughter that you need to look at more than one option, and never make your decision on the first visit with any wedding vendor, and that ALL wedding decisions are made by emotion and not logic. In the case of Russell Caron Photography, we knew right from the start that HE was the one that could spend the entire day (nearly fourteen hours!) with us, and capture the essence of the most important day of our daughters life. He has a great balance of presence of professionalism and a sense of being "one of the family" to put you at ease and truly bring out the inner beauty of your wedding day. I found his pricing to be very competitive in the market, but his service is priceless. He tirelessly worked to get "teaser" selections on his website within hours of the events (engagement, rehearsal and wedding). My daughter also selected a boudoir session, that I attended along with her sister, and he again was so professional and made my daughter feel comfortable, relaxed and natural. I look forward to the final photo selections and receiving my "Parents Album".

This is a copy of the email I sent Russell Caron one week after my wedding. He is so fantastic in every way, an absolute pleasure to work with!!

Dear Russ,

I just wanted to thank you for the fantastic, amazing and beautiful
pictures. They are truly exceptional and far beyond my expectations.
I can't stop looking at them, they are simply stunning. One of the
most important aspects of my wedding was the pictures. It was so
important to me that they were beautiful, artistic and captured all of
the hard work Travis and I put into this one day. It was your job to
capture all of the details, emotions and elements of this one day,
plus add your own creativity to capture the memories that our family
will cherish and remember for a lifetime. You did a fantastic job and
it is clear that you are very passionate about your work and it shows.
Your professionalism and kindness throughout this process made
dealing with this aspect of my wedding effortless and worry-free, and
let me tell you....when you are a bride the less stress the better.

My husband and I wanted the best photographer so we started very early in our engagement to find the perfect photographer. We booked Russ about two years before our event and we have never regretted this decision. Russ is both flexible and knowledgeable and I would urge every bride to use this to your advantage. Russ provided us valuable tips (make sure the flowers are at the hotel early and make sure you have thought about lunch on your wedding day). Russ also was willing to go anywhere and shoot any shot we wanted.

Russ's photography speaks for itself. We had a very difficult venue to shoot pictures in due to the lighting and Russ's pictures look great while all of the armature photos were blurry, grainy or oddly colored (and most of my friends have SLR's).

One of the best parts about Russ is his promptness. Russ had pictures on facebook at 1am - and our wedding was over at 10pm. It was so valuable to have our friends and family who were unable to make it be able to share in the preview of these photos so quickly.

We can’t tell you how thrilled we were to find Russell Caron Photography for our wedding at a Camden, Maine B&B. After countless hours of searching and interviewing many other photographers, we spoke with Russ. We knew immediately that he was the perfect choice. He has a love and passion for photography that is evident in his work. Russ and Sarah were so comfortable to have around and they blended in with our family and friends. No one felt as though they were in the eye of the camera, yet all of our special moments were captured. We’ve shown the photos to many people who have said they are, by far, the best and most creatively shot wedding photos they have ever seen. My Husband and I recently got married July 10,2010. I would definitely recommend Russell Caron for your wedding photographer! Russell Caron by far exceeded my expectations! I absolutely love my wedding photos and given the chance to do everything again I would not change my photographer!

I knew from looking at his work online that I loved his style. I also was looking for an artist...someone to capture detail. In the end I really hoped for not just your average wedding picture to hang on the wall..but a timeless peace of art. As a Bride I truly had a great experience. When I saw the photos for the first time via i-phone in the airport on the way to our honeymoon..I couldn't believe it..I was amazed!

My favorite moment was when I just finished eating and looked over my shoulder out the window to see the sun setting..I then said to my husband.."would you kill me if I got Russ and we can go take a few more outside" the sky looked so beautiful. No sooner did I turn around, Russell was at my side asking me If I wanted to take advantage of the sun set and take a few more. I never had to leave my seat to find him, and he read my mind.

Now my favorite photograph of my husband and I is from that very moment we went outside under the sunset.

A few weeks after our wedding I decided to take the plunge and do the "Trash The Dress" photo shoot with Russell Caron. My mom just loved the idea and we had such a fun day! Russell Caron definitely showed professionalism. Asking my comfort level with getting the dress dirty or wet and worked with what I was willing to do. He made it fun and even let me be creative and give suggestions! and Yes! I did choose to go swimming in the ocean! Again the pictures are amazing and my husband loved them. Something about getting into your wedding dress one last time...

Again I highly recommend Russell Caron as he has the experience as well as true professionalism. He does his homework scoping out the perfect sites for your pictures, and is always offering creative ideas. You can really tell he loves every moment of his job. He is not only an exceptional photographer and an amazing artist, but a great person as well.

My husband and I would absolutely recommend Russ Caron to any couple looking for a wedding photographer. He has this unbelievable talent for capturing emotion on film...I was so overwhelmed when I saw my proofs, I couldn't stop looking at them. We are so happy we decided to sign on with him as our wedding photographer.

Not only can he take a good picture, but he is very easy to work with. He sat down with us and drew up a package best fitting OUR wedding. From our first meeting through the photo shoot and proof review, we have been in continuous contact and he has always been very responsive to my questions and concerns despite a busy wedding season.

Russ will only continue to surprise and amaze you with his talent for capturing such a beautiful experience, such as your wedding, and turning it into a treasured piece of art.

We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer than Russell Caron. He and his associate were extremely professional and fun. Russ has a way of making a camera shy person like myself feel comfortable and really enjoy having pictures taken. Our wedding day was perfect and Russ really went above and beyond to capture all the special moments. I loved the creative elements that were added. We were married 2 hours away from his studio in Camden and he still knew all the best areas to shoot. There were so many beautiful shots to choose from. I really liked that we had pictures uploaded to Facebook and the website that he created so quickly. We were able to share them with our family while they were still visiting. Our wedding package was an exceptional value as well. My husband and I were trying to keep our budget down while prioritizing the lasting memories provided by great pictures. Russ offered an impressive package that fit perfectly into our budget. I would highly recommend Russell Caron Photography.

Russ and Stacia from Russell Caron Photography did our downtown Boston wedding on June 5 and they went above and beyond in every way! From our first meeting, to our engagement shoot to the rehearsal and the day of the wedding, Russ’ quick responses, expert advice and utmost professionalism made this part of wedding planning effortless and fun. He worked with our budget and we were able to get everything we were looking for (second shooter, engagement photos, rehearsal dinner coverage, bride & groom getting ready, etc.).

During the ceremony and reception he was unobtrusive but always got the shot. During the wedding, before anyone saw any pictures, several people approached us and commented on how great the photographer was.

Most importantly, his passion for what he does showed in the incredible photos he took.
I cried looking at them and still can’t believe that these are my wedding pictures! He captured every detail and the emotion of the day perfectly.

From the more traditional shots (that my parents wanted) to the more photojournalistic/artistic shots (that we wanted), every picture was creative, original and absolutely beautiful! We got amazing daytime and nighttime city shots throughout Boston! He really brought the city to life around us and captured what we love about Boston in our pictures.
