Adrienne was amazing to work with. I am pretty Type B and really wanted to have a backyard wedding, in a backyard that did not quite fit the 95 people we invited. It came with a lot of moving pieces, and she helped us think through the event layout, timeline, vendor logistics, and all of the details that made the day run smoothly.
One of the things I appreciated most was how prepared and knowledgeable she was. From our very first conversation, over eight months before the wedding, she brought up so many details that I had never considered and helped us organize a solid rain plan that we felt good about, long before we had any idea it would actually rain. It ended up being cold and rainy almost all day, and Adrienne handled everything calmly and professionally. She helped manage the setup in the rain, assisted our caterers with getting everything in place, coordinated with our vendors, and made sure the backup plan worked seamlessly.
She also helped us navigate so many last-minute issues and made sure they were taken care of without adding stress to the day. She thought of so many things I never would have thought of and helped me create a timeline that made sense for our guests while still accommodating everything I wanted to do.
Beyond being very organized and prepared, Adrienne is also warm and is just fun to work with. Everyone loved her, and she brought the positive, bright energy you want around you on your wedding day.
Because of Adrienne, I felt genuinely stress-free on our wedding day. She made everything come together perfectly, and I would highly recommend her to anyone! -

We honestly can't say enough good things about Ruffles & Tweed! From the first time we chatted with Adrienne, we felt like we had found not just a planner, but a true partner in this whole crazy wedding process. She listened to our ideas, understood exactly what we were envisioning, and turned it into something even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Adrienne made everything feel so effortless, even when we were feeling overwhelmed. She helped us navigate the many choices, kept us on track with deadlines, and always, always kept things lighthearted and fun. She took the time to get to know us and our style, which made every suggestion feel personal and spot-on. On the big day, we felt so at ease knowing her & the team had everything under control. They were like a calm, reassuring presence throughout, making sure everything went smoothly, from the tiniest detail to the big moments. It was such a relief to just enjoy the day and not have to worry about a thing. Thanks to Ruffles & Tweed, our wedding day was nothing short of magical. It was everything we hoped for and more. I was referred to Adrienne through an MBA alumni networking event. I felt both hesitant and lost on hiring a planner. I had heard stories about planners being unreliable and disorganized for a hefty price. I am a type A bride that booked all the big stuff and initially wanted to manage things on my own. But ultimately work became too much to balance with planning and I needed help to put everything together and achieve my vision. I vetted a few other options none of which put me at ease like Adrienne. From our kick off call she was enthusiastic, organized, and understood what I wanted from a planner and for my wedding, which was sort of unusual given I had already chosen and booked several vendors. We worked together over a quarter to iron out all the details and get to the look and feel that came to life BEAUTIFULLY the day of. She was super on top of vendor communication and ultimately saved the wedding day when a disaster came to a head. Our wedding transport was contingent on two trolleys escorting guests between several locations. Within a week of our wedding, one of our booked trolleys exploded. Adrienne miraculously through her contacts and connections found a replacement trolley during peak wedding season. Everyone involved in the wedding, whether a vendor or bridal party member, loved her and commented on how great her energy was. She's a true professional. If you're having a wedding in the tri-state area, particularly Westchester County, you're making the wrong choice if you're not working with her ;) -

There are too many positive things to say about Adrienne to fit into this review. She is exactly what you could hope for in a wedding planner – organized, resourceful, thoughtful, unflappable, and insanely fun to be around. As far as the nuts and bolts go, she had every single thing done and organized ahead of schedule. The day went perfectly smoothly (I am not exaggerating this). One guest had a reaction to a bug bite and she had antihistamine. Another guest broke her heel, and she whipped out gorilla glue and repaired it. Beyond that though, she is an absolute dream to work with. She is kind, caring, and generous. It’s obvious to anyone who meets her that she loves and takes deep pride in her work. -

I'm going to need to keep this short because I could speak about Adrienne for days. My god is she wonderful. From the moment I started working with her I felt so at ease. I was severely stressing wedding planning but she swooped in and completely changed the experience for me. I immediately felt lighter, way more positive, and excited for the day!! She took over and all my stress/worries went away. I am not kidding. She is a literal magical fairy. Adrienne is extremely organized, thorough, detailed-oriented, proactive, supportive, EVERYTHING. Adrienne is EVERYTHING and more. She became my therapist, my life coach. Working with her was an absolute dream and we wouldn't have had the wedding we did without her. I have to say, my wedding was pretty damn perfect. And that was because of Adrienne. She made the whole weekend absolutely perfect. All my friends and family adored her too and said she was the coolest wedding planner they've encountered. Some of my engaged friends are immediately hiring her after my wedding. She is a gem of a human - truly a fabulous soul. There is no one better than Ruffles & Tweed all around. From impeccable work ethic to such a lovely, calming, wonderful support, we couldn't have functioned without Adrienne. We are so so so blessed to have found her and worked with Adrienne!!!!!! Will never be able to thank her enough for everything she did -

Adrienne is the best! She is very sweet, kind & professional. I loved working with her. Our venue recommended her and I'm so glad they did! Everything was already planned leading up to the wedding, so I was not stressed out at all and the day of our wedding I was so calm because I knew we had a team there to help coordinate and make sure everything went according to plan.
I did partial planning because I needed help finding some vendors and I was stressed out and I didn't want to deal with the stress. She also helped me plan our day after lunch and found us a perfect venue! I highly recommend using her services! -

Adrienne was so great! She was our day of planner and brought tremendous experience. Adrienne knew all of the things I wouldn't have thought to ask (a must-have!) and tied all of the vendors together seamlessly.

I chose Adrienne as my day of coordinator because she came highly recommend from my venue. I was set on finding someone who worked there before. She was sooo friendly right off the bat and helped me stay organized as I did the bulk of planning my wedding. In the months leading up to the event, she was super responsive and willing to go above and beyond. The best part was getting to my venue day of and seeing all my ideas come to life. She was able to execute on everything and do even more knowing my style.
Would highly recommend choosing Ruffles & Tweed for all things wedding planning! -

Adrienne was, and continues to be, fantastic! From our initial phone call and meeting, Adrienne took the time to get to know us as a couple, and suggested terrific ideas based on general preferences we expressed. She seamlessly guided us through an emotional period, as we pivoted several times from a wedding at Wave Hill in 2020 to a mini-wedding this year, with a larger reception next year. From designing our summery theme to coordinating with our vendors, our wedding was everything we had dreamed (minus 142 guests..). Can't .wait to continue working with her for our reception! -

When I first reached out to Adrienne last summer seeking a month-of planning coordinator for my outdoor garden-themed wedding in Hudson Valley NY, I immediately knew we would be in good hands working with Ruffles and Tweed after already having spoken with several other planners. Being highly organized, responsive and experienced with managing various vendors in the greater NY area, Adrienne quickly put us at ease with the planning process which we were very grateful for as there were many moving pieces for our event. Just as importantly, what makes Adrienne such a wonderful wedding planner is her ability to work well with people & vendor partners (some with pretty different personalities) -- it is no small feat to liaise with and smoothly orchestrate more than half a dozen different vendors and making everything flow seamlessly leading up to the big day. I had a pretty specific vision of a classy garden wedding and Adrienne was instrumental in helping weave everything together to make such a magical day even more memorable for many of us and our guests. THANK YOU AGAIN ADRIENNE you are the best!

She thinks of everything and had so many creative ideas to make our wedding day special and so beautiful. She kept us on track leading up to the wedding and helped us stay within our overall budget. We had nothing to worry about on the day of thanks to her!

Brian Sent on 11/01/2016We met Adrienne for dinner to see if she'd be the right wedding planner for us and we had so much fun with her we knew she was the one! She totally got what we were looking for and had some great ideas to share. Working with her over the next few months she went above and beyond. She helped pick vendors we had not selected yet, worked with the vendors we already hired, and handled all the small project we had, even made our table numbers!!! Adrienne brought our dream wedding to life, it was even better than we pictured. Anytime we were feeling stressed or needed any help or something done we contacted Adrienne and it was all taken care of. We could not have had the beautiful wedding we did without her. For weeks after the wedding we had family members and friends contact us to tell us how beautiful our wedding was, it's all because of Adrienne. Not going to lie, we had one of the best weddings, ever, and it's not just because it was ours haha. THANK YOU ADRIENNE!! Diane Sent on 11/21/2012went above and beyond the call of duty..managed to pick up a tire when my husband and I got a flat!! She is not only a great wedding planner but a terrific person.. made us feel so comfortable.. we thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day because she took care of all the details!!
