Wedding Photographer

We are so glad we chose Rachel as our wedding photographer. Working with her was a great experience from start to finish.

From our first conversation, Rachel was incredibly easy to connect with and took the time to answer all of my questions. She worked with us to find something that fit within our budget, which we really appreciated.

About a month before the wedding, Rachel reached out proactively to start working through the details of the day. She sent over a very helpful worksheet that helped us think through our timeline, family photo list, and shot priorities, and she also coordinated directly with our day-of coordinator so everything would run smoothly.

On the wedding day Rachel was punctual, calm, and very flexible. Our original location for bridal portraits didn’t end up working out, but she quickly pivoted and made the transition feel effortless. She was also excellent at providing just the right amount of direction so that we—and our families—looked great in the photos, even though we’re not the most comfortable in front of the camera. She clearly paid close attention to lighting and positioning during portraits, which made a big difference.

Throughout the evening she captured so many candid moments that really reflect the spirit of the day. Looking through the gallery, we love how she captured both the energy of our very enthusiastic dance floor and the quieter emotional moments between friends and family.

Rachel shared a sneak peek on Instagram (with our permission) just a few days after the wedding, and she delivered our full gallery—about 1,300 photos in both color and black and white—within two weeks, which was incredibly fast.

We absolutely love the photos and are so grateful to have these memories captured so beautifully. We would highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

The Perfect Photographer for Our Big Day

We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer. From our engagement photo session through our wedding day, Rachel made us feel incredibly comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Rachel Captured Our Day Perfectly!

We absolutely LOVED working with Rachel from RMN Photography! From start to finish, she was warm, organized, and such a calming presence on our wedding day. Neither of us are totally comfortable in front of the camera, but Rachel made us feel at ease right away and captured such natural, genuine moments.

She was incredibly efficient — wrangling our families and coordinating with other vendors to make sure we got every photo we wanted (and more!). Rachel also took the time to review our photo inspo ideas ahead of time and brought them to life beautifully.

On top of everything, she delivered our gallery so quickly — we were amazed by how fast we got our photos back, and they turned out absolutely stunning.

Rack was absolutely incredible to work with, she was so kind and thorough in making sure she meeting our needs and ensuring we had a great day. She was great with all the kids that attended, a slight change last minute, and speed walking to our second photo location to make sure we got the best pictures. Gorgeous Wedding Pictures

I found Rachel doing an online search for our area, and I am so grateful for everything she did on our wedding day. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer to capture our day! From the first time we spoke on the phone to the emails leading up to the wedding, Rachel was always very attentive and provided ideas for pictures on our big day. The day of the wedding, she was super punctual, organized, and supportive. We had the big task of wanting to take pictures with all our guests in only 1 hour and I don't know how she did it! Everyone felt super comfortable and we got through it. She also took some amazing candid pictures of us during the ceremony, truly capturing the essence of our love and our story. We had so much fun on the wedding day and couldn't wait to see the final product. When Rachel shared with us the sneak peak, we were even more excited! Then when the final photos were available, we were speechless. We had so many amazing pictures, each one feeling very authentic, emotional, and raw!

The best wedding pictures out there!!

Rachel is the best of the best and we will request her services for all of our future photography needs! We had a small ceremony in the park on the same day as a major event that imposed road closures, and it was due to storm at the time of our ceremony. Rachel was proactive and suggested we move everything up to make sure we had enough time; we're so grateful for her flexibility and foresight. She quickly identified the best spots for pictures and was great at suggesting poses and bringing genuine smiles to our faces. Ditto for the whole family, including our one year old niece! The photos turned out beautifully even though I am not photogenic at all; I have never loved pictures of myself or my family like I love these. She is super talented and also such a warm and caring person, I couldn't recommend her more!! Worth every penny!!

Rachel is the absolute BEST!

We can’t sing Rachel’s praises enough! We hired Rachel to take both engagement and wedding photos. After our initial reading and all of the glowing reviews, we knew she would be the perfect fit, and boy did she deliver. Rachel was extremely patient, professional, skilled, friendly, and extremely accommodating! For our engagement photos, we initially wanted to take them by the Lincoln Memorial. When she arrived early and saw that there were construction fences everywhere, she quickly pivoted and suggested the DC War Memorial as an alternative shoot location, and it worked out amazingly. We also opted to have our dogs be part of our engagement photos, and Rachel was extremely kind, calm, and patient given the dogs were a bit distracted by all of the activity taking place on the National Mall. She managed to capture so many great photos of the dogs, making it seem as if they cooperated the entire time. For our wedding, not only was she extremely organized in wrangling dozens of family portraits in a short amount of time, but her incredibly fun and bright demeanor was noticed by several of our guests, who commented how fantastic Rachel was. Her planning sheet was comprehensive and she delivered on all of our requests. She was extremely prompt with delivering the final photos, and they absolutely exceeded expectations. We look forward to working with Rachel again, and cannot recommend her enough!

Excellent photographer!

Rachel was our wedding photographer in October 2023. She was easy to work with leading up to the wedding and the day-of. During our pre-wedding discussions, she took the time to learn what was important to us (and what wasn't), and we could tell on the wedding day that she had really listened to us and taken everything into consideration. She is extremely professional - she knows how to get the shots that you want! She was able to give us direction while still not making everything feel super posed and staged. She got great shots during the ceremony and reception, and she made sure to check before she left for the night to ensure she had gotten all of our "must-have" photos. I think she even stayed a bit later than she had planned. But obviously, the key factor for any photographer is the photos - our wedding photos came out amazing. We got SO MANY photos, and somehow, they're all good! The coloring, staging, everything was absolutely perfect. We are still working with Rachel to order photo albums and prints - so far, she has been as easy to work with for this part of the process as pre-wedding! I highly recommend her.

Our photos are lovely.

We did our photos at the ceremony venue and then at a different venue on the way to dinner. She helped secure the second site and our pictures at both locations are stunning. Then, when she had the party months later, all our pictures really capture people having fun. She also made sure to get shots of all the little details that blur together such as the flowers, placecards, and entry set up. Several people have commented on how nice we look in our photos and how we have a good mix of posed and candid.

Wonderful to work with!

Seasoned professional and great eye for vibrant lifestyle photos

Rachel from RMN Photography was outstanding. We already were familiar with her work since she'd done a bunch of our friends' weddings and family shoots, so we knew we liked her style.
She met with us via zoom to help us plan, and had us fill out a form with a list of types of photos that we could opt in or out on. We really needed this because we weren't really sure what we wanted. She asked all the right questions ahead of time so on the day of, she was able to make decisions in the moment when things went a little off schedule. She was able to manage the guests trying to take a bunch of pics with their phones and keep us on track. Rachel found gorgeous spaces to take photos that we hadn't even thought of, including a beautiful graffiti wall near our venue. The pictures are so vibrant, and she captured the emotion of the day with so much detail. Rachel's work is excellent. The only problem is how to decide on 200 photos for an album when you have 2000 good ones!

Rust Manor Wedding.- June, 2021

Our wedding was postponed three times last year due to COVID-19 and the capacity restrictions put into place by the Governor of Virginia. Rachel was so supportive and helpful in working with us to navigate the ever changing dates. Her professionalism and her work were outstanding on our wedding day. Her photos beautifully captured every detail of the wedding. From beginning to end, our experience working with Rachel was wonderful. She was very responsive to our many questions and concerns and always answered us within 24 hours. She made the process of working together very easy and it felt like a true collaborative. On our wedding day, Rachel deftly navigated the family dynamics and moved swiftly through the portrait sessions and knew when to blend into the background and when to assert herself to get the best pictures. The quality of the finished photos is exquisite and exceeded our expectations. Quality, Affordable, Fantastic

I found Rachel through a referral from a friend who also had used her as her wedding photographer. Rachel did such an AMAZING job capturing the essence of our day!! Not only were the photos beautiful, but her warm and friendly manner immediately put me at ease. Rachel was flexible too - it was unclear whether my husband was going to be able to travel to the United States due to Covid, and she was willing to work with us and allow us to push the date back if we needed to without losing our deposit (such a relief). She’s also way more affordable than others which was perfect for our small gathering. Highly recommend - I will definitely call on her again in the future to capture other special moments that come along!

Amazing Photographer & Experience

Rachel was amazing through every part of the wedding process. We had booked Rachel during COVID and ‘interviewed’ her over the phone. During that call we knew we had to book Rachel. Fantastic Wedding Photographer!

RMN Photography/Rachel Naft is a gem of a wedding photographer! First Rachel has an easy-going, fun and calm presence that is so welcomed on the craziness of the wedding day. She is very organized and was excellent in helping us narrow/condense our lists of photos to make for a manageable schedule that would allow for us to also enjoy some of our day. She is a very hard worker, doing whatever it takes to get a good shot. We had multiple outdoor photo locations on a very warm sultry August day but nothing stopped her from getting fantastic shots. Many of our guests commented on how hard she worked and how she was also moving around to position herself to take a great shot yet never being intrusive. She was also very gracious with guests, allowing them moments to take photos too. Most of all however, the photos are absolutely fantastic! We have so many incredible and beautiful photos that feels impossible to choose the ones we like the most. Amazing Photos and Wonderful Photographer to work with

Rachel Naft was wonderful to work with!!She took absolutely amazing pictures. She is so easy to work with and really helped my husband and I really enjoy our engagement photo shoot and our wedding day photos. She was so supportive, flexible and responsive throughout the whole planning process. Which was so nice and really helped ease any stress when it came to the photos. We hired Rachel pretty last minute, and she was fantastic! Her photos were intimate, and she knew exactly how to capture the moment. Couldn't be happier with RMN Photography!

Rachel was absolutely incredible to work with! From the moment my partner and I met with her we instantly felt at ease as she walked us through samples of the work she had done for other couples. We had other photographers to interview, but after our meeting with Rachel we knew we wanted to work with her.

There is no describing how absolutely positive Rachel was to interact with. We were two guys never planning to get married and so we had lots of questions and Rachel was patient and helped across so many different situations. As the day of the wedding approached and some complications arose with other vendors (last minute DJ cancellation!), Rachel stepped in to offer any help as we scrambled to find a new DJ. Rachel was the calming positivity we needed for sure.

On the day of the wedding Rachel was absolutely amazing and took the most incredible photos for us. She handled all the logistics with the Lincoln Memorial where we did our pre-wedding photos. The photos are spectacular and we couldn't be more pleased. At the ceremony and reception, Rachel was comfortable navigating our large families and being terrific at efficiently moving everyone through the photos that needed to be taken. Not an easy feat with a loud Italian family! The pictures of the ceremony and dancing afterwards are incredible. Rachel navigated the dance floor with ease and got such awesome photos for us. Many of our family and friends commented on how great Rachel was and how kind she was as well.

Shortly after the wedding, Rachel started releasing some of the early photos as they became available and we were speechless. She is a true professional who is incredible at her work. When we got the full set of pictures, we were just absolutely stunned. Our wedding day was captured perfectly and we honestly couldn't be happier. Even when a few photos needed a touch up or two to remove a shadow or a glare, Rachel was incredible and took the time to make them perfect. She worked with us afterwards on the album and we even ordered a second album so we could add more photos since we couldn't decide and were having such a hard time narrowing down all the great photos she took.

We can't recommend Rachel enough. From the initial meeting, to her positive attitude before the big day, to her absolute professionalism during the day, to her helpful and customer focused demeanor as we built the wedding albums, Rachel is 5 stars through and through. You will be happy you chose her. And, her pricing from what we researched was extremely affordable for what you'll get. We absolutely thought her services were fairly priced.

Amazing Experience - Beautiful Photos, Easy to Work With Professional

We loved our experience with Rachel!

We worked with Rachel Naft Photography for our small wedding (15 people total) in DC in October 2019. We loved our experience with her and LOVE our photos! With such a small group of guests, Rachel's professionalism and easygoing personality really showed through and made a huge difference in our day. Since we didn't have a planner of any kind, Rachel helped us a ton with shaping our day - including planning the timeline around when the light would be best at our ceremony location (Meridian Hill Park), picking the exact location in the park, and how to structure the rest of the evening. Most importantly, her photos turned out amazing! She knew the right ways to pose us and our families and we had a ton of fun walking around the park to get the best shots. Additionally Rachel is well priced compared to other photographers we considered. I would definitely recommend Rachel to any bride in the DC area seeking a wedding photographer!

The best possible photography experience!

My now husband and I were a little nervous when it came to thinking about our wedding photography. Neither of us like being in front of a camera and our one non-negotiable was that we picked someone we both felt 1000% comfortable with…and we landed on Rachel. She is one of the nicest, most approachable people on the planet, and immediately makes you feel at ease in conversation as well as while shooting. Our bridal party and families keep telling us how great she was and how her energy was contagious - it honestly felt like she was just part of our party (while remaining professional of course!) and happened to be taking the pictures too.

We just received our wedding photos back and, while I knew she was talented and would do an outstanding job, I’m just in awe of how she was somehow able to capture the complete indescribable emotion we both felt on our wedding day. For people who generally don’t care for the pictures we take together, we honestly wish we could print and had somewhere to display them all. Risking sounding incredibly cliché, our wedding day was one of the happiest, best days ever, and reliving it through our pictures makes me feel all of that all over again.

Amazing Wedding Photographer

I came to Rachel for my wedding photographer via a friend's recommendation. I was not disappointed. Rachel listened to my needs from the first conversation. The day of she was phenomenal. The best!

RMN Photography and Rachel Naft are phenomenal! From the first moment we met Rachel we knew we wanted to work with her for our daughter’s wedding. She has amazing vision, talent and is the ultimate professional, not to mention her photos are AMAZING! There were many challenges on the wedding day, not to mention the least of which was pouring rain. Rachel was able to snag an hour window without rain and get gorgeous outdoor shots. I especially like the candids she got of the wedding party – so fun! All our friends and family kept raving about her on the day of the wedding and how engaging and friendly she was. I also loved that when someone was taking a pic with their personal phone she was right there to take a professional shot, as well. To our delight, Rachel posted some select photos on Instagram and Facebook the very next day – the likes and comments just kept coming!!! I honestly cannot recommend RMN Photography enough. Rachel the Superstar Photographer

Rachel was so much fun to work with. She was easy going and really good with people. I loved how she got everyone to pose and do what she wanted so she could get all the shots she needed. Our videographer and Rachel met each other for the first time at our wedding and one would think they knew each other. I'm still amazed at the way they worked with each other, almost like they have worked together before. I was really impressed. She was always on time, super enthusiastic and very professional. We booked Rachel based on a recommendation from our venue coordinator who had worked with her on several other weddings. Rachel was immediately responsive, friendly, informative, and she went above and beyond to assist us with securing the necessary permits for our photo locations. Rachel was able to remain calm and get the group through a very aggressive timeline...and we got every shot on the list including three different locations.

Rachel's professionalism and customer service was phenomenal. We saw a sneak peak of our photos within a week (off-peak wedding season) and she delivered the rest in an expedited timeframe. She certainly has a vision and got some really amazing shots.

When you make a list of all the qualities you want in a wedding photographer, Rachel is at the top of every category:
Responsive: Throughout the wedding planning process, Rachel responded to all of my emails quickly and helpfully (I can't think of a time when she took more than 48 hours to respond)
Knowledgeable: We had a fall wedding with an early sunset. Rachel knew exactly the time we would need to arrive to get quality shots before the sun went down.
Efficient: We had a time crunch (see above), but Rachel was still able to get every group shot we wanted - and more!
Quick turnaround on photos: Our "sneak peek" (of about 90 photos!) was up on her blog 4 days after the wedding. She mailed us a flash drive with all the day's photos (about 2000) about 2.5 weeks later.
Fun: Rachel has such a great personality - you can tell she loves what she does! She puts everyone at ease.
Value: Rachel's pricing is the best out there!!
BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS: I cannot put into words how wonderful the photos came out. Rachel has such a creative eye and comes up with some breathtaking shots. We were lucky to have our reception during the Atrium at Meadowlark's holiday light show, and Rachel took STUNNING photos!! I also love her pictures of the guests dancing - if you want fun candids of your guests getting down on the dance floor, nobody does it better than Rachel.

We can't recommend Rachel enough. A friend referred Rachel to us and we met to arrange an engagement shoot. From the start, Rachel was wonderful, putting us at ease and working with us to ensure we got the engagement photos we wanted. Rachel is every bit of professional, creative, and energetic. Her photos convey the spirit of the moment and she works tirelessly to make sure she has everything covered on your big day.
I went to college with Rachel and she was happy to travel to Wisconsin to be our photographer (well, UW-Madison is our alma mater!) but the acquaintance aside, she loves to travel and always has a camera by her side.
She is very communicative and keeps you on track, and did a great job giving everyone direction when it came to herding everyone for the group portraits. Rachel will be extremely well prepared but leaves room for spontaneity: we had an on-the-fly photo shoot on the way back from our planned post-ceremony excursion that turned out super cool, and she even captured a shot of a car my husband saw driving by. She's quick!
Our sneak peek photo album arrived in our inboxes very soon after our wedding, and she sent the USB of all the photos very promptly. I have actually yet to pick out which shots we will have her print out for us, which is included in the package; there are so many good ones!!!!

Rachel was AMAZING. From start to finish she did so much to make us comfortable and to create amazing photos that we'll cherish. I'd recommend her wholeheartedy.

We love the pictures (that we've seen so far—she gave us lots to look at!) SO much, and we're thrilled to have them quickly too. They really look amazing. It was awesome that she worked with us to get a sense of who we are and get photos that helped to show that and make the photos different and special rather than just going for the same shots (though of course she worked well with getting some of the traditional photos for the fam too!). She was fantastic/kind/patient when directing us and our large families for portraits, making what could have been a stressful situation really fun. Her total commitment to getting great photos was evident from the start—she came to our venue walkthrough to check out the lighting and come up with portrait ideas, she helped coach us gently when our smiles were getting fake or one of us looked awkward, and she kept a positive attitude throughout—our guests loved her too, she was just game to roll with anything we threw at her. Ultimately the incredible, gorgeous photos she took are proof that we got a great photographer. 12/10 stars, would hire again!

I would highly recommend Rachel Naft for your wedding photography! She really is incredible at what she does and very reasonably priced! She is such a pleasure to work with, pretty hilarious , organized and works well with a lot of different personalities. Prior to the wedding she sends a list of potential photo combinations that you can chose from. She meets with you personally, as well, to go through the timeline and assesses how to get all of the photos done efficiently, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the wedding. It was amazing watching her, because I know my family can be difficult to manage at times. She would gracefully coordinate some very large shots and have everyone laughing by the end of it. She has a really good eye for pictures and makes sure everything looks good, as she would swiftly fix my dress, veil, or flowers prior to the pictures and explain how she would like the pose. After the wedding she posted a “sneak peek” of the photos on Facebook. I was absolutely amazed! I think all of my guests that had a picture taken of them at the wedding changed their profile picture to one of her photos. They are really phenomenal! She later sent us a link to the photo gallery and a really nice logoed USB drive that included all of the photos as well. She did the most amazing job capturing some really great moments at the wedding that we will cherish forever. We truly are so grateful to her for everything and would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

At our wedding, Rachel had an energetic personality that was somehow completely calming. Her energy helped bring out my husband and I’s best smiles.

Rachel took full advantage of the fully bloomed garden at St. Francis monastery, as well as the beautiful arches that adorned the path around the perimeter of the monastery grounds. Many of our favorite photographs from our wedding were with members of our wedding party and our family under the arches. She got everyone to display beautiful smiles, including my husband, which is not easy since he is extremely camera shy.

During the ceremony we did not even notice her presence. During the reception, she captured excellent candid shots. I think she took photos of every guest. She captured every key moment of the reception.

However, what most impressed me about Rachel was her accessibility and promptness. During our first meeting, she spent nearly two hours with us going over all of the photographs we would want at our wedding. She was quick to respond to emails and her turn-around time with our photos was incredible. She had prepared a sneak peak of 125 photos just five days after the wedding. We had all of our photos within two weeks of the wedding. Each photo was beautiful. The hardest part was picking out the 20 that she will print out; 10 5x7 and 10 8x10. She will give you a flash drive of all the photos she took, so you can print out any photos you would like. I highly recommend Rachel. The quality of her work is outstanding. When my husband and I have children, we intend to hire her again to photograph them.

We were thrilled to have Rachel photograph our May wedding at St. Francis Hall in DC! We met and booked Rachel well over a year before the wedding, and at that meeting I told her how anxious I was about being photographed, and that "no offense to her", but I wasn't looking forward to that part of the day. Fast forward to our wedding and Rachel couldn't have made it any easier on this photo-shy bride! From the moment she arrived at the hotel, to the end of the reception, Rachel was there when I needed her (and out of sight capturing all the wonderful moments I missed when I didn't.) She was a total pro leading up to the wedding, and in dealing with our last minute changes due to weather - as well as navigating family, friends and a rowdy bunch of groomsmen. We could not be more thrilled with the photos we have received and would 100% recommend Rachel to friends. Having seen her final product, I'd say Rachel chipped away a bit at my fear of photos!

My mother-in-law is actually the one who found Rachel for us and Rachel was amazing. At first, my mother-in-law is the one who felt really strongly that we needed to do an engagement shoot in addition to the wedding photography. I was hesitant--but Rachel really made us feel at ease and I'm so glad that we did it! It was definitely worth the time and a little extra money. Having an engagement shoot is like the rehearsal dinner part of the wedding&reception main event. Rachel is really open to getting you the best possible experience; and in our case, the theme of our engagement shoot kind of tied into the theme of our reception. Our engagement photos and wedding&reception photos look amazing, both on our walls and in our photo albums!

We loved working with Rachel! From the first meeting she was friendly and accommodating, she answered all of my questions, and had plenty of photos to show us of different weddings and engagements she had done previously. She drove out to meet us at our venue before the big day and we walked through the entire place to discuss our options and visions, she also made a complete list of the group or candid photos we wanted to have for the day. The day of she was on time and was snapping photos constantly. She was polite but firm and kept everyone on schedule. She also made everyone laugh and feel at ease, everyone in our family and bridal party thought she did a fabulous job. During times when nothing in particular was happening, she was off taking candid photos of guests, or of the decor, or even pulled us aside to take a few more photos of Tim and I together while we waited for the guests to be seated in the reception area. I highly recommend working with Rachel, and I hope that we have an event in the future we can hire her for again.

From the moment I got engaged I just knew I had to have Rachel as my photographer for my wedding! I only have excellent things to say about her and her work! Rachel is a great photographer and very fun to work with. She was easy to reach during the planning stages, and executed flawlessly on the big day. We told her the types of pictures that we wanted, and she was able to get them without being obtrusive on the dance floor. She had a great eye for candids/informally posed shots at the cocktail hour, and the formal portraits were done beautifully. The Dance Floor pictures are phenomenal, and Rachel was able to truly capture what we wanted to remember from our wedding.

Rachel was also able to wrangle our families to make sure the pictures we wanted took place. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

Where to begin....

My husband and I found Rachel online-- craigslist to be exact. I found her post by chance- we were looking for a talented photographer, who was within our budget and quickly feel in love with the small portfolio she included in her posting. We reached out to Rachel and we quickly set a time to meet with her and ask questions.

Rachel is a PRO- we felt very comfortable with Rachel right away. She really understood what were were looking for and delivered more than we could have imagined. Asking her to be our photographer was an easy decision. Rachel is INCREDIBLE. Having a vendor relationship with her was effortless. She is very responsive- truly made sure we had our questions answered in a timely fashion and reached out often. She noted all of the images that were important to us (which she defiantly delivered on) and used her creativity to get images we didn't even know was wanted. Rachel captured great moments, yet- somehow remained in the background.

Our favorite moments with Rachel were the bride/groom shoot we did right before sunset. The pictures were so fun and really captured my husband and I as a couple. Our bridal party pictures would have easily been featured in a bridal mag-- UNREAL. We are VERY happy with the way our pictures came out.

Rachel was fantastic. She met us in person to discuss all of our options clearly and with thorough details on options. For instance, she walked us through various packages of combinations of hours, photo books, consultations etc... The photos were amazing, and she had great ideas on different shots. Rachel was PERFECT. We loved our engagement session but I was really blown away by the wedding photos she captured. I also really appreciated that she was out of the way for the ceremony and reception but was able to capture beautiful images. We received our sneak peak a week (!!) after our wedding, and all our photos were finished well before we were expecting them. There were so many good photos that we had a really hard time deciding which to print for us and our family and friends.

Rachel is the best in the area! She is a true professional and artist. I got married almost 2 months ago and I am still getting compliments on the photos.

Guests and the wedding party all raved about how nice Rachel is. She is super easy to talk to and the communication is great. She is so nice that my wife and I are sad that picking up our album will be the last time we get to work with her. We are probably gonna plan an anniversary shoot just so we can work with her again. Let me just say again her work is AMAZING and she is a great person.

She is also super fast. We had our electronic gallery in two weeks. We had our prints in a month and are picking up our album this week! Rachel gave us memories that we will truly cherish for a lifetime. I have nothing bad to say and am so glad we chose her.

Rachel was so great to work with! She was very responsive before hand, she remained relaxed during the hectic photo session with both sides of my family right before the ceremony, and took so many great photos. I got married on September 5 and she had a sneak peak online with over 150 pics by September 10, and our online gallery of all photos was ready just over 2 weeks after the event. Rachel was incredible! I have nothing but great things to say about her and her level of expertise. She is a true professional and if you are trying to decide whether or not to hire her, hire her! We chose Rachel to photograph our wedding and my husband (an amateur photographer) and I were blown away at the story she told. She has a Facebook page RMN Photography that you can see all her work and check out the sneak peeks, which she posts within a week of your event. The payment plan is wonderful, you pay in three installments...upon booking, prior to the event, and at the end when you receive your album, so it's very affordable. Actually, that is one of the greatest things. You pay for the quality you are receiving. For me, photography was more important to me than some of the other details, because I wanted to remember the day and the story of our day. Rachel's photography is amazing and so is her customer service. She was willing to Skype, call, meet in person and there was never an issue with email. She responded promptly and always worked with us to address any concerns that may have popped up. On the day of the wedding she was great in coming to both locations (very early in the morning) to get pictures of both of us prior to the ceremony. When the album was being developed, Rachel met with me to make sure the album was exactly what we wanted. I cannot have asked for a better person or photographer. I will be calling Rachel for our next photography session! :)

Where to even begin!? Rachel was an absolute God-send for our wedding, and worth EVERY penny! She helped me in the planning process with a detailed photo list and timeline. Then, when things didn't go quite as planned she helped me roll with the flow, make sure a few guests stayed out of her way, and my husband and I cannot WAIT to see the rest of the photos. Rachel photographed our April 25, 2015 wedding in downtown Washington D.C. I cannot say enough great things about Rachel. First, the photos are gorgeous and we LOVE them. Second, Rachel was very helpful throughout the planning process and gave us pointers about things we had not thought of ourselves. Third, Rachel was so wonderful on our wedding day -- both my husband and I have said so many times how much fun we had with Rachel and how grateful we were for her patience throughout the day and how terrific she was with both kids and finicky grown-ups. Rachel is absolutely amazing! Her work blew us away. She did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. The engagement session really helped me to get comfortable. Rachel was very helpful, very accommodating, and not at all pushy. I can not recommend her enough. My husband loved her, my family loved her, and everyone raves about how great our photos look. Our wedding photography by Rachel Naft from RMN Photography was excellent. We wanted photos that would really tell the story of our wedding day. And we desired a photographer who could capture timeless, beautiful images. RMN Photography had so many good reviews, and we were sold based on how sensitive and photojournalistic Rachel's photos on her website were.

Rachel met with us at our church for a consultation and to get to know us. Based on our phone conversation with her and the meeting, we knew that her laid-back but professional style was the right fit. She listened for our creative input. She kept us organized by managing our must-have photo list by email.

At our wedding and reception, Rachel came off as a skilled photographer. She took full advantage of the natural light, fall foliage colors, and architectural details at our venues. Rachel also captured really fun, candid photos with smiling and laughing faces, without tons of awkward expressions. She was efficient in getting through our formal shots. She worked with the children in our ceremony in a way that made them feel comfortable. She gave really helpful direction about poses for all of us to look our best. She also did some great night photography of the two of us.

Delivery of photo files was prompt. We liked Rachel's Facebook integration and sneak peek previews of our photos that we could quickly share with friends and family. We look forward to getting our bound photo album. To summarize our experience with our photographer, the words are: stylish photos, personable interactions, and experienced professional. I cannot say enough wonderful things about RMN Photography! Rachel was a pleasure to work with, corresponding with both my mother and myself throughout the wedding planning process and afterwards as we received our photographs. We had 200 people at our outdoor wedding and reception following and Rachel shot the entire event without an assistant and no detail was overlooked. She is amazing! We met prior to the wedding to review the shots I wanted, and Rachel was great with advice and suggestions and help trouble shooting day of logistics (even helping me troubleshoot things not related to the photography). My groom and I didn't see each other prior to the ceremony and Rachel did a great job of juggling before pictures and was also a big help keeping everyone on schedule. Rachel did an excellent job! With the short notice she was extremely flexible. You always hear that you should go with a photographer that you connect with and Rachel definitely understood what we wanted for our pictures. Some of our favorite shots were the impromptu ones. Rachel is awesome. Our wedding photos turned out beautifully. I really couldn't have asked for anything better. She was a pleasure to work with from start to finish: so responsive to emails, always willing to answer questions. She's extremely personable and professional; she was courteous and friendly to all of our guests. When she noticed my elderly aunt waiting outside our venue for the shuttle back to the hotel, she took the time to find out when the next one was scheduled so that the old lady wouldn't be waiting for too long. So sweet. Rachel somehow managed to get pictures of everything and everyone without us ever feeling she was in our faces. I really barely noticed her most of the day, but she got so many fantastic shots. Best of all, her prices are reasonable. If I have another event where I need photography, I'd definitely hire her again.
