Marcin and Doritos are amazing! I HIGHLY recommend B.D.F.K Photography if you want adventurous and outstanding wedding photography! They went above and beyond to get cool and exciting pictures of us on your wedding day!

We eloped in the Canadian Rockies, so it was just myself, my husband, our office by, and Marcin and Dorota from B.D.F.K Photography. Marcin and Dorota even kindly agreed to be our witnesses! We had the small ceremony in the morning on the shore of Moraine Lake and then Marcin and Dorota spent the rest of the day with us, taking us to all sorts of amazing locations throughout the mountains to get breathtaking photos. They were full of ideas and were basically our tour guides for the day! They were both so fun to hang out with on our special day and really helped make the day a memorable experience!

Thanks Marcin and Dorota! We can not recommend B.D.F.K Photography enough!

We absolutely loved having our engagement photos done. My fiancé was a bit hesitant at first with getting his picture taken, but after it he mentioned several times how much fun he had! We would love to have another photo session with Dorota and Marcin; it was fun and, professional, and our family and friends adore the final result!! In fact, my mother called me in tears after viewing the slideshow they put together for us, she was speechless at how beautiful the photos were! Our photos are so unique, and really show our personalities and how much we love eachother. Our friends and family still mention the engagement photos every time we see them! So far into the wedding planning, booking B.D.F.K. Photography has been our best decision yet!

Dorota and Marcin are phenomenal photographers to work with. Their passion and excitement for the perfect shot is highly contagious and makes it easy to relax, laugh, and get naturally fun and authentic photos. They both have an amazing eye for detail too. From the background environment of the photo, to body movement, angles, and lighting. They have a ton of cameras, all of which get different types of shots, giving a huge arrangement of different looks and feels for the photos. We are so thankful for the images they have given us. They made us feel like we were part of a work of art, and once we saw our final photos, we knew that to be true. They are a genuine, fun, and insanely easy couple to get along with, and we had such a wonderful time with them. My fiancé and I can't recommend them enough! :) Thank you again Dorota & Marcin!!

Researching and choosing a photographer can be quite time consuming, overwhelming and stressful. But I can assure you that B.D.F.K. was everything we had ever hoped for and more.

This husband and wife team know how to make you feel at ease and comfortable before the photo session begins. They start by getting to know you on a personal level, followed by a fun session of being yourself and having those fun moments captured by two photographers from different angles to take the right picture.There is no awkward posing and having to stay perfectly still for seconds that feels more like minutes and even hours.

My fiancé and I had our engagement photos done in the beautiful mountains in Banff, Alberta. Marcin and Dorota had no issues travelling a few hours for our photo session but looked forward to taking them. We did not have anything specific in mind other than the mountains being our backdrop. During our session Marcin and Dorota brought us around to different locations and would often take spontaneous photos if something captured their eye. Their main goal was for us to have fun and capture the right photos without feeling rushed.

Our overall experience working with B.D.F.K is positive. The communication from the start was fast, the photoshoot was a wonderful experience, we were provided with previews (loved having those right away) and updates from our session in a timely manner. They are passionate and professional regarding photography and emphasize the importance of having fun. We could not have had a better experience. Marcin and Dorota were nothing short of amazing. When Berend and I started researching and meeting with photographers, we knew within minutes of meeting Marcin and Dorota that we wanted to include them in one of the most important days of our lives. Their energy and passion for photography was evident right from the beginning. They are always prompt to respond and communicate with us. Our engagement session was a wonderful experience. Berend and I were both nervous about how we were supposed to pose, they made us feel comfortable, they captured our love and personalities by letting us have fun in front of the camera. The engagement photos are unique and stunning, and we cannot wait to share our wedding day with them. We were originally on the fence about whether we really needed a professional photographer; after having BDFK with us, and seeing the stunning photographs we received, I have no doubts that choosing to have them at our wedding was completely worth it. Most amazing wedding pictures I've ever seen! I booked with BDFK photography even before I booked my venue. After seeing their photos online, I knew they were the photographers i needed for my special day. They were so amazing to work with, their creativity turned my wedding day into its own story book. I couldn't be happier my decision to have Marcin and Dorota take photos of one of the most important days of my life. My fiancé and I would highly recommend B.D.F.K. Photography!

When I first stumbled upon the B.D.F.K. Photography website, I instantly fell in love with the rich colors, emotions and uniqueness of each photo. I did a lot of research and I felt these photos really stood out to me as they weren't forced, rather they seemed to capture the raw emotion of that day. The passion and creativity behind the photos was evident when we first met Dorota and Marcin. Not only were they passionate but they were so nice and easy to talk to.

Our engagement session was a wonderful experience. They made us feel comfortable and we had so much fun. They work so well together and really went above and beyond to capture the perfect shot. Dorota and Marcin are wonderful and we can't say enough nice things about them. We absolutely love our photos and we can't wait to see what they capture on our wedding day.

My fiance and I did a tonne of research when it came to picking photographers for our Engagement and Wedding photos. When we saw BDFK Photography's photo gallery and read the reviews, we just knew we had to meet them. And when we did meet them, we just knew we had to hire them!
Dorota and Marcin are wonderful. Not only are they super sweet and easy to get along with, but they work very hard and do not stop until they are more than happy with the result. They take pride in their work.
Dorota's and Marcin's creativity and photography skills are second to none. We are very thrilled with our engagement photos, and we've gotten so many compliments on them already. We cannot wait to see the photos of our upcoming wedding in August 2015!

My husband and I are just thrilled with our wedding photographs from BDFK photography. Marcin and Dorota have a real talent for taking excellent photographs. Their photos tell a story and capture the magic and memories of the day, as well as a few wonderful "behind the scene" surprises that we were too busy to notice on our wedding day! Marcin and Dorota work hard to get the best shot, angle, and lighting. They take many photos throughout the day, then they go through everything and select the very best photos for editing. Marcin and Dorota did a great job of taking photos all throughout the day to ensure we had a piece of each moment - this included the decor, getting ready, the ceremony, family portraits, wedding party photo session, and many elements from the reception and the dance. They are very easy to get a long with too, which made photo sessions a snap! They were kind enough to agree to a "day after" photoshoot in the mountains, so we have some really stunning wedding photos in the Rockies as well. Many of the photos they took on our wedding day and at the post wedding photoshoot have won many awards and have received much praise from friends and family. You will be very happy with your photos if you choose BDFK photography!

We got to spend a whole day in the cool air of the Rocky Mountains with Dorota & Marcin taking our engagement pictures. Dorota and Marcin are an amazing couple that made us feel very at ease during our E-session, they are incredibly fun, outgoing, hilarious and patient. We loved our experience with Dorota and Marcin and have asked them to join us and capture the special moments during our wedding day! Jonathan hate's taking pictures and they made him feel very comfortable and managed to captured very precious moments between us. I love how they do not pose you, they simply tell you to "play". Whatever you decide to do, they capture. I love how passionate they are about photography and believe this is why their work is incredible. Marcin & Dorota were so amazing on our wedding day! They caught some of the best moments of the day instead of just getting everyone to line up and smile. That is what I think makes a great photographer is when they can capture the energy!
I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a photographer especially since their pricing is so reasonable for everything you get compared to other Edmonton and area photographers!

Dorota and Marcin were fun to work with. They have brilliant and playful ideas during our e-session. They're amazing. We are from Grande Prairie and drove to Edmonton for the shoot coz we wanted to hire professional photographer for our e-session. The drive was so worth it when we saw the outcome!! Too bad our wedding would be in the Philippines. If we're doin it here or somewhere near Canada, we would def hire them for the event. I like the fact that they're perfectionist. They wouldn't give up till they get the best photo. They don't want an "OK" picture they want the "best" one. I would definitely recommend them to everyone on their special day. Good job BDFK photography!!

From the moment we met these 2 photographers, we knew they were the ones we had to choose. They have great energy, and you could tell from the get go how much they love what they do. Before we met, we saw sample pictures from previous weddings and photo shoots. They were incredible, and you could see they have the "eye". They are personable and really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They work extremely well as a team too. Their ideas and approach felt extremely fresh. They are also very assertive without being overly controlling. They listen for ideas, locations, and general mood and use their creative minds to come up with fantastic photos. Wedding day was stress free (when it came to photos of course), and everything was on time and no beat was missed. I would recommend Marcin and Dorota of BDFK photography to anyone.

Dorota & Marcin are such a fantastic couple to work with. When we met with them for the first time, we instantly knew they were for us. They have such a passion for photography and you can see it in their work.

They will gather all your ideas and present ideas of their own to make your day memorable. They made our day so much fun. The day of our wedding it was a down pour and the wind was howling. We were suppose to get married outside, long story short, the rain stopped at just the right time for us to get our photos done outside. Dorota and Marcin worked as a team to get us as many photos in a timely manner. They worked with our bridal party and family so well, and let them suggest some different ideas for photos. My photos turned out amazing!

I get to see them again this year for my sisters wedding! I am very excited to be working with them again. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Dorota and Marcin are a dream team. When I first saw their portfolio, I knew I wanted them as my photographers. I booked them - despite my wedding being over a year away. They stayed in contact with me (emails at Christmas and throughout the year) so I never had to worry about them disappearing before my wedding day.
They have a unique ability to make everyone around them feel comfortable. If it wasn't for the clicking of the camera, I wouldn't have known they were there. I haven't received all of my pictures yet, but they have sent me about 10 - and I am beyond excited to see the rest. The pictures are incredible.
I really enjoyed the unique and creative ideas Dorota and Marcin had. I'm not the traditional picture type, so bringing a certain style to the table was important to me. I was not disappointed. They were also very open to suggestions. One of my groomsmen (for whatever reason) wanted to climb a tree for pictures - in a matter of minutes, Dorota and Marcin had a tree picked out and the guys were all climbing up.
They truly ensured that the day would be captured as best as possible. I could tell that it was as important to them as it was to me that my pictures reflected the love and happiness I felt that day with my husband, family and friends.
I would recommend them for anything you need a photographer for. Their portfolio shows that Dorota and Marcin are multi faceted individuals and anyone would benefit by hiring them. I know in the future, should I need photographers, they will be my first call.

The BEST!!! Couldn't ask for anything better. Marcin and Dorota are EXCELLENT!! they are such amazing creative and talented photographers. They have an eye for photography that not very many photographers have and such a good understanding of their cameras angles lighting ideas.. they are incredible!
They did our engagement pictures and everyone loved their work so much. I wouldn't want anyone else to photograph our wedding.

We could not be happier with our chioce of wedding photographers! Not only are they extremely talented, but they are also great and extremely nice people.
They were very easy to deal with throughout the whole planning process and on the day of the wedding their professionalism and enthusiasm just shone through.
