Best Vendor We Picked For Our Wedding Day

Oh gosh, where do I even begin? Photography by Niki absolutely MADE my wedding day, well along with my lovely husband of course. But seriously, I cannot recommend Niki Gregg enough.

Throughout the wedding planning process, Niki was super professional and helpful. I saw firsthand how incredibly well-connected she is in the Houston area. She knows all the best wedding vendors, and she went out of her way to provide excellent recommendations for my wedding – from the venue, to the cake, to the dress shops, to the linens, to the planner, to the DJ – everything. She knows the wedding planning business hands down. I also appreciate that she knew I was having a somewhat big wedding party, and made a recommendation right off the bat on the two photography options that would best fit my needs and budget. With so many decisions to make around a wedding, Niki made it easy. She’s reliable and someone you can trust.

On my wedding day, Niki was nothing but the best. She arrived on time with her assistant, was pleasant (all my bridesmaids loved her), and got straight to work. I never realized how much time you spend with your photographer on your wedding day but it’s a lot, and I’m so glad I was able to share that time with her. She put my husband and I at ease when our emotions were high, she captured moments of joy that I’ll remember the rest of my life, and she even caught action shots I didn’t see on our wedding day like our two-year-old flower girl running down the aisle at full speed. She also worked incredibly hard and well with our other vendors, and it felt like a solid working team environment around us throughout the night. Niki was there for my husband and I every step of the way on our wedding day and I can’t thank her enough for it.

The best part? She captured exceptional photos that my husband and I will cherish the rest of our lives. I flip through the photos she took and couldn’t be happier. From the large group photo of everyone at our reception, to my husband and my formal shots with our families and wedding party, to the reveal shot between my husband and I, she did an excellent job. Her attention to detail, editing skills, and passion really shine through in her work. I can’t recommend Niki enough and look forward to hiring her for future life milestones.

We had a relative on the grooms side that was set up to do the photography. He decided it was more than he could handle. Needless to say, planning your daughter's wedding can be quite stressful. I had seen some of Niki's work on line and it was beautiful, so I emailed her. She responded immediately and came to my rescue. Wow what a blessing she was. She's not only a great photographer, but very confident. She assured me everything would fall into place, and it did. Love you Niki! Niki and her partner photographer where amazing. She worked well with my hectic schedule out of town and when it cane to my wedding day she was on time and the photos where stunning. They really captured my wedding day. I highly recommend her as your photographer. I will be going back to her to make my wedding photo album.

Niki captured my wedding day absolutely perfectly! She even got my 4 year old son smiling in the pictures! She is professional, fun, and had some beautiful ideas for photos!

Niki is amazing! She does beautiful photography and has great ideas. She is flexible to traveling as well if there is somewhere special you want your photos. I used her for family, engagement, bridal, and wedding. I will use her again in the future. Highly recommended!

Niki has a classic yet stunning photography style and the kindest heart to match. We enjoyed every moment working with her over our 18 months of being engaged and then getting married. Our photos are beyond our wildest dreams and she captured so much emotion I feel as if I can relive our entire day through the photos (we did not do video and with her photos I don’t regret it.) We cannot wait to work with Niki for milestone photos and events throughout our life together!

My husband and I loved working with Niki! I was very grateful she took the time during our consultation to get to know us personally and go over every detail from engagements to the wedding. Something I wanted in a photographer was someone that could direct me and my fiance on what to do, how to stand and tell me where to put my hands lol. Niki has kept in touch and will still post a picture of our wedding every now and then which I love! The cost was a bit high, but photography was very important to me for our wedding and I didn't have to worry about a thing with Niki! She definitely knew what she was doing. (Image quality of these pics won't be the best cause I stole them from Facebook)

Niki was incredible throughout the process, very professional while also being extremely personable and helpful. She willingly answered any questions I had, and she also helped me out in numerous other ways including recommendations for hair and makeup stylists when I had plans change suddenly. I was so thrilled with all of the wonderful moments that Niki captured during my wedding day, and she went above and beyond to make sure that I was able to get the photos that I needed and wanted. Niki gave us exactly what we asked for in our pictures. She let us enjoy our day with little posing and took photos that captured our personalities. I have so many favorites it was hard to decide which ones to print and hang. She caught details that I didn't even have time to see with all the business of the wedding. She is even sweet to work with and I definitely recommend her!

Niki was amazing to work with! Very up front about everything and got things moving quickly. My husband doesn't always respond well in front of the camera and niki made him very comfortable and our pictures came back amazing! I highly recommended her!

Niki was the best ever. She did my sister in laws wedding and mine. I am so obsessed with ALL of my engagement and wedding pics. I promise I don't have a bad one in the thousands. Niki is AMAZING! I definitely recommend booking her! She shot our engagement and wedding pictures and they turned out perfect! Niki went above and beyond what we expected from her! She even walked through mud to get some of our pictures on our wedding day! Niki cares about her clients and she always made sure that my hair looked good! Niki helped us pick out a videographer, makeup artist and even a hair stylist! We had the best experience with her! She really made everything run smoothly on our big day! Thank you Niki! LOVE you!

Niki was blast to work with throughout the whole wedding process from engagement photos, to bridals and most importantly our big wedding day. She was on time, professional, full of energy and made standing in front of the camera not so intimidating. Her efforts (as well as her assistants) to capture the most tender and sweet moments go beyond what we could have expected and more than we could have ever asked for. Niki truly loves her job and that is why I believe it made our experience working with her so fun. We couldn't be happier with our choice of photographer. We highly recommend her for any and all occasions to help create memories that will last a lifetime. Her effortless attention to detail is what separates her from all other photographers, she provided input on our timeline, helped with my dress, provided key advice, and even saved our cake from a near disaster. Niki is an exceptional photographer. We noticed her work at a bridal show and again at an open house. You can tell she is very experienced. She's very responsive with emails and quick on getting your pictures back. We couldn't be happier with our decision to go with her. She was on point the whole night of our wedding. She's great with kids and telling you how to pose. They totally surprised us when they asked if we wanted to "play with the sparklers." We got to do one of those fun sparkler pics that you see on Pinterest, and my husband and I got to have quiet little moment in the middle of all the chaos. It was a nice surprise.

Niki was absolutely AMAZING to work with!!!! We met with a few other photographers and we weren't really impressed. Once we met with Niki, we knew she was the one for us. She Is SO sweet and caring, which made it so much easier to feel comfortable for the photos. She treated us like her friends, not her clients and was very quick to respond to any questions that I had.
She really knew how to capture our personalities, and she also dealt with our crazy bridal party with a smile on her face the whole night. :)
We can't wait to work with her again in the future!!!

Niki was so easy to get a long, so professional and always flexible. Mother Nature seemed to never be on our side the days we had photos. For engagements it was scorching hot and we got attacked by Mosquitos the whole time. On our wedding day it poured almost the whole time and at one point it said take shelter because of a tornado. She was always so positive and never let the weather bother her so it kept us positive as well. Our engagements came out great and I can't wait to see our wedding photos!

Niki is very personable. We started with her a year ago when we had Christmas photos done and from the very start, she was always smiling and put you at ease. She also did our engagement photos and our wedding photos! She goes above and beyond for you to get the photos that you need. I would highly recommend Niki for your photography needs. I feel like I have known her for a lifetime and we will continue to use her for our photography needs.

Amazing amazing amazing... I can not begin to tell you how much I appreciate Niki and her amazing work. My Fiance and I eloped last minute and wanted someone to capture it for us, I contacted Niki 3 days before and she was extremely responsive and open for ideas. Her price was extremely fair and well worth every penny. NIki had the photos back to us by email in just days and had dropped off the USB stick with all our images shortly after. The images were breath taking, she did such a good job capturing every special moment. I am so thankful for her and her attentiveness. Niki was amazing and was part of the team that made my day go much smoother than it could have been. She was extremely professional and my guests took notice too. She took all the pictures I requested and the turn around time was within 2 weeks. I didn't have to tell her where to be for all the important moments, she just knew! I was on a limited budget and Niki provides excellent quality for affordable price. I'm so happy I found her on this site. She's so sweet and works well with my other vendors. She's also very accommodating when it came to our special photograph request. I have 11 siblings and I'm recommending her to all of them for their future weddings too! LOVE LOVE LOVE Niki! My fiance found Niki on Yelp when looking for a photographer for our wedding. We met with her and instantly clicked! We had a very specific need for the photographer to have a strong indoor portfolio and she has proven to be amazing indoors. We recently had our engagement photos taken at our house inside and outside. The quality of the photos is superb and the editing work she does is fabulous! She was even able to make corrections to issues with my makeup caused by the makeup artist. Her willingness to go above and beyond to get that perfect shot are what anyone would want to have in a photographer. She even went as far as to climb on our roof with us just to get a specific shot for us. We could not be happier with her work and are more than excited to work with her again at our wedding.

I was very impressed with Niki from the beginning. She was responsive to my questions in e-mails and very professional. On the day of our wedding she was on time and ready to go. Unfortunately it rained on my wedding day so we did not get to take advantage of the beautiful grounds at my venue, but thanks to Niki I had some great photos none the less. I am amazed at the great timing she had when we were dancing. She caught some great shots while we were moving. I am especially grateful that she took plenty of photos of my friends because little did we know, but one of them tragically passed away a month and a half later. I was able to put those happy photographs of her from at my wedding on her FB page and my FB page and her family appreciated that because everyone got to see her happy at the last "event" she attended.

Niki and her team were outstanding to work with. Besides being an exceptional and talented photographer, Niki is just a great gal. She's very friendly, sweet, and fun to talk to which makes it so much easier for a Bride planning her wedding. The first time I talked to Niki, we talked for nearly an hour or more. There was no question after that phone call that I needed to look no further - I had found the right photographer. Throughout my wedding planning process, Niki was there to answer any questions I had. She even took initiative to offer suggestions, tips, and sent me resources that were insightful and very helpful. She's worked with a lot of brides and photographed a lot of weddings, she knows her stuff! Our wedding day was wonderful. We had impeccable weather in a beautiful setting. Niki and her team captured nearly every gorgeous and memorable moment. Our photos were amazing. I could fill the walls of my house with nearly every image!! But as not to be a crazy person, I have to frame the best of the best. :) Let me tell ya folks, it's not easy. They're all gorgeous and worth framing. Thank you Niki and team. Nikki was SO much fun and personable. She photographed my engagements, bridals, and wedding. We couldn't be any happier with our photos from all three meetings. My husband and I both enjoyed her company and loved how interested she was in getting to know us to capture our personalities. Niki captured every moment, all the smiles and the adoring glances perfectly. Niki and her assistant were professional the entire time of the wedding and we barely noticed that they were there. Prior to receiving our pictures Niki asked if we wanted our pictures posted on social media websites. I really liked the fact that she asked me first rather than just blasting our families images all over the web. We did not want them on the social media and she kept them secure for us. She has treated us like a friend rather than a client and I can't thank her enough.

From the engagement pictures to the pictures taken on the day of the wedding, Niki did a fabulous job. I am not sure how she does it, but she has an amazing gift at capturing people in the best light at the perfect time! Niki is the best!

We used Photography by Niki for my daughters wedding and WOW did she ever capture the day beautifully! The pictures are breathtaking! She somehow managed to get a picture of everything that was happening and didn't leave out any details. My daughter is excited to continue with Niki for all of her family photo needs from now on.

Niki is the best, hands down. She handled the entire wedding from engagements and bridal portraits, to the wedding day photography. She was super easy to work with and extremely flexible when it came to both schedule and style. She feeds off the energy of the subject she's photographing, and has a knack for catching the people's personality in the photos. It is truly amazing to see your relationship with friends and family (including new family) captured in such a pure way. The hardest thing was picking my top two favorites to display at the wedding. Side note: on top of touching up every photo she takes (all are posted for you on her website for your viewing pleasure - password protected), she put in extra effort in recommending a print size, touching up / cropping for that size, and then ordering them for us to ensure they came in the extra thick backing and looked gorgeous. She's willing to travel (went to A&M for bridal portraits - we live in Houston) and can suggest locations for pictures according to your style. She starts with a set number and style of pictures she wants, and then goes with the flow and your personality to tailor the appointment to what looks best. She is really an artist. I will be recommending her to everyone, and am looking forward to using her for years to come. Truly a good person, and worth the money for the amount of quality you receive.

We used Niki for my daughter's engagement and wedding pictures and they were both just beautiful. Could not ask for a better photographer! Niki is AMAZING! I found Photography by Niki here through weddingwire.com and was so pleased to hear she was available. I loved her right off the bat when I met with her! She was very accommodating with my schedule and was always quick to get back to me via email and phone calls. She and her 2nd photographer, Jaylene, arrived early and took photos of everything from the girls getting ready before the wedding, to all the details, to the ceremony, to the reception and until our exit. Our wedding ran a couple hours longer than expected and Niki stayed around to make sure she got photos of everything. She went above and beyond all expectations and captured every moment of our wedding! She mailed me my wedding photo flash drive a few weeks after the wedding and the photos were absolutely beautiful! Lets just start out by sayin that my husband and I are both awkwardly tall, and to be in front of a camera was no were near comfortable for us, but yet with Niki's uncanny photographic skills, she helped us relax and capture unforgettable memories. We used her services for our engagements, bridals, and our "not so perfect weather" wedding, which turned out PERFECT in our pics!
She was never reluctant to drive an extra mile, spend a few more minutes, and talk you through whatever you needed... Even if it didn't concern photography. We absolutely adore Niki for the sincere person she was throughout our entire wedding process.

I think the most important question is would I hire Niki again, and the answer is a definite YES! She was wonderful. They say one thing goes wrong during every wedding, but I had several (including a dress that broke during the first dance and was falling down during the entire reception). Even though it wasn't Niki's job, she helped with every problem I had. And the most important thing is, the pictures are beautiful!! She gave them all to me after the wedding (very quickly!) on a flash drive, which is wonderful. Be careful, because in my searching I found that a lot of photographers out there won't give you any sort of negatives or copies of their pictures unless you buy them. I really wanted to have every picture taken at my wedding, not just a select few.

If you hire Niki, you won't be disappointed!

Niki is terrific. She captured moments at my wedding that I couldn't experience (things happening beforehand or while I was doing something else) and also helped me relive precious moments from the day. I swear I didn't even know she was there -- she was unobtrusive, but evidently was able to be in many places at once! She was professional and I received many compliments from my guests on her demeanor and attitude. She shoots great candid shots and is very talented at getting detail shots (ambience, the dress, the rings, the flowers, the "look" of the wedding). She was responsive when I had questions. She even made sure we received an image from the wedding early so we could have Christmas cards made. Her Web site is a good example of her work.

There are too many places to begin to compliment. It's not enough to say that the pictures speak for themselves. Niki is an outstanding photographer that demonstrates great craft and skill. From the first day we met, her passion for photographing and capturing the details to make the event evermore special was evident. Niki took her time and made sure that the couples style is reflected throughout the photography. When I viewed my photos I felt as if it just happened at that same moment. Smiles would not stop coming. What I appreciate most, is that Niki captured all the beautiful moments that with all the commotion at weddings that brides/grooms tend to miss out on. I don't need to comment on Niki's photography - her portfolio speaks for itself. Her photos are incredibly beautiful. So many photographers like to say their photographs 'tell a story.' Well, Niki's photos are so much more than that. They go beyond the story (which any set of sequential photographs will do) and reach the emotions of the day. I couldn't be more pleased with the photographs we have from our wedding day.

On another note, Niki was so helpful in a situation that barely impacted her. I was a bride at the venue in Houston that shut down. I found out three weeks before my date. I contacted Niki to let her know that things might be changing. She sent me information for the venues she's worked with, and offered to contact everyone she knew in the business to help me find another location. She always responded to my e-mails within hours, and still does.

Niki was great to work with at our wedding. She captured everything so well and really caught us and our personalities on the wedding day. We did a few posed photos of the family, but the rest of the photos were candids of our whole day. I was very excited to know that when we originally met with Niki that it was her work that she showed us, and it would be her on the wedding day that took our photos. She doesn't sub in somebody else to take the photos, like other photographers that we talked to. So I knew the quality and beautiful photos I would be getting before our wedding. We were not disappointed. I'm very happy with the whole process and I do recommend her to any of my friends getting married. From the first time meeting with Niki, I knew we had found the right photographer for our wedding. Not only was her photography work amazingly beautiful, but her outgoing, friendly personality fit us so well.
We did engagement portraits, and I did bridal portraits before the wedding. This was a great way to learn how Niki worked and allowed us to get to know her better before our wedding. We had some great and fun pictures of us to display at the reception of these portraits.

I knew the one thing I did not have to worry about were my photos. Niki handled everything with great flexibility and professionalism. She captured all the little details as well as all the smiling faces at our wedding. I was also looking for certain black and white photos with a hint of color still left in all the flowers. She added this to our package in no time.

Photography by Niki will always be at the top of my list. We can't wait to start a family because her baby photos look just as sweet and detailed as her wedding pictures!

I really couldn't be happier with the work that Niki did for us. Not only was she super sweet and easy to work with, she took some amazing photos of us at our wedding. She got all the detail shots of everything that I spent months planning, and pictures of all our wonderful guests too.

The weekend after our wedding we did a "Newlywed Portrait Session" with her and got some great shots of us around town. It was so much fun to be relaxed in our wedding attire, and get to wear my dress one more time!

I know photos are one of the few things that I have left from my wedding, and I'm so glad that I made a great decision and went with Photography by Niki for my photography.

The whole experience of having our wedding taken by Photography by Niki was just wonderful. We had engagement pictures done a few months before our wedding. We went to the place where my husband and I met, so the pictures meant so much to us, not to mention they were beautiful. I love the black and white ones that Niki did for us too.
For our wedding, we had pictures taken starting two hours before the ceremony. Niki captured my mom helping me put on my wedding dress and shoes. Those mean so much to me and my mom, as I'm the baby of the family. Then the ceremony shots were great, as she zoomed in on us and got our faces during the ceremony, even my hubby with teary eyes!! Even at the reception there are some amazing shots of everything going on, I didn't even notice how many photos she had taken of everything going on, until I got the pictures back. I've spent hours pouring through them all. Oh, one of my favorites was during a quick break during the reception Niki took us outside on the grounds of the reception and got some colorful sunset shots of us. Ok, can't say enough about the wonderful wedding experience I had, and I get to remember it all through my photos.

I have such amazing photos of my wedding! Niki did the best job. I feel like the photos are out of a magazine. I will treasure them forever. The albums that she has are such high quality and so pretty. I'm having a coffee table book album made for me and my mom is getting one that is more traditional matted look.
I've told all my friends about Niki when they get engaged. She took our engagement, and my bridal portraits too! So happy! Call/email her now. Oh yeah, she emails me back almost immediately when I contact her!

My photography of my wedding was so beautiful. Niki was so attentive to getting all the details and photos of all my wedding party and guest. I feel like I have fine art photography of my wedding to decorate my walls with and show off to all my friends. She also has the new style of coffee table wedding albums. My album looks amazing. Niki was one of the best choices I made for my whole wedding. I knew I was going to splurge on photography. I also knew I wanted 2 photographers. Niki shot my bridal portraits about 2 months before the wedding in Hermann Park and downtown Houston. They turned out amazing. I look like a model and I love it!

About two weeks before the wedding Niki sent me a pre made list to help me tell her what pictures I wanted from the wedding. After I sent it to her she called me with a couple questions to make sure she understood all of my requests.

She helped make my wedding day go super smooth! She helped my now husband fix his boutonniere and showed my dad how to put a pocket square in his pocket. She got all the little detail shots out of the way right when she got there. Then started taking pictures of the girls getting ready. Her assistant went and took pictures of the guys getting ready. They did a great job of having everything very organized to keep all the pictures moving. After the wedding all the group pictures went very smoothly and got everyone to the reception as quick as humanly possible.

My church does not allow photographers on the main floor during the ceremony, they are "banished" to the balcony. Niki brought her huge lenses so she could capture all the moments.

Niki and her assistant did a great job capturing all the different moments thoughout the reception.

Niki posted the pictures online about 3 and a half weeks after the wedding. I then got a cute little USB in the mail with all the pictures about 5 weeks after the wedding.

I was just so impressed with how everyone told me how nice she was. My dad couldn't stop talking about her until about a week after I came home from the Honeymoon. I still need to order my albums and while they are on the expensive side they are extremely well made. I can't wait to have time pick out my pictures for them!

Niki is an amazing photographer, she's very willing to accomodate anyone and everyone. Her photos come out wonderfully and she really makes sure to take the time and make them beautiful. The process of putting together the albums with her is tons of fun, and that's the only thing that's really costly about the whole deal- she has some very affordable options as far as albums go but the really special ones, the ones that are really original... well, they're not cheap, but well worth it. i adore Niki. I will use her for all photography from now on.
