The very best experience with Brea and her team
We were beyond satisfied with our choice of Brea and her team as our photographers. You can see by just looking at her photos that she is a talented photographer. Her photos are visually stunning and full of emotion. She and her team were able to get not just the beautiful Instagram-worthy shots, but the “little things” that were unique to OUR day. When we look at our wedding photos, I can tell you almost the exact moment something was happening. (“Here’s where you said X in your vows.” “Here’s where our flower girl was being a little goofy.” “Here’s where the strap on my shoe came undone and you had to redo it.”)
But, unlike her portfolio, what we couldn’t SEE until our wedding day was that she is skillful at managing the flow and needs of the day. She gave us great advice on our proposed schedule to fit everything in without feeling rushed. Our families remarked at how efficiently the photography assistant, Brooke, managed the formal/posed family shots, making sure the right folks were “on deck” when needed. She and her team were simply ON IT all day, with everything from a spare bobby pin when the wind got too windy to even bustling my very long train when the formal shots were over so I could finally walk around comfortably. Between Brea and our other capable vendors, we were honestly able to just be present throughout the day because we knew we were in great hands.
In addition, we had unique lighting needs due to our venue. Brea was patient and knowledgeable in advising us about what would work best. She gave us comparisons of what different lighting options would look like so we could make the best decisions for us, given our own preferences and the quirks of the venue.
We didn’t know until we got well into wedding planning how essential the photographer is to the day. Overall, we found Brea (and her team) to be technically skilled, emotionally intuitive, and also just nice, pleasant people to spend the day with. We know you will be in great hands if you choose her as your photographer.

Where do I even start? To know Brea is to love her. Photography was one of our most researched vendor items for our wedding. We did not get a videographer, and knew we wanted someone particularly skilled to capture our indoor, elegant evening wedding. We could not have gotten luckier with coming across Photography by Brea. First, she's a phenomenal communicator. She takes the time to meet with each couple personally and her packages include an engagement shoot to get to know one another before the wedding. This was an INCREDIBLE day. Brea is fun, understands and subsequently attempts to alleviate the pressure of the day, and becomes a friend to you and your people. This made such a difference in our pictures, in how my partner and I could interact with one another, and the efficiency to capture all the details to tell our story.
Brea's skill translates well amongst her team of photographers and assistants (Jim and Courtney), who were all incredibly professional, kind, and efficient on wedding day. I will always remember our day for her compassion, and attention to detail - it made all the difference. If you hope for your wedding to be absolutely picture perfect, and one that you can relive through pictures, then look no further than Brea. -

Brea and her team were so kind and helpful throughout the entire planning process! When it came to the day of our wedding, they went above and beyond to make us and our family and friends feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was so fast in editing and all of our photos allowed me to relive the exact day as I saw it over and over again! -

Setting aside for a moment the fact that Brea has been one of my close friends for 12 years, and I've had the honor of watching her grow her business from the time when it was just a dream of hers, Brea is the person you want photographing your wedding. Period. Seriously. She cares about her couples and brings the eNeRgY. And I don't just mean her contagious vivaciousness and awesome sense of humor, I mean the feeling you get being around her that she really, truly loves what she does and she's there for you. Watching her "behind the scenes" so to speak and following her work for the last decade, I know it's just how she is. Throughout the process, Brea answered my questions to help me feel comfortable and confident about what to expect on the big day. There were even logistical decisions my husband and I made for the flow of the day based on Brea's advice that made getting ready and our first look flow more smoothly for us, our wedding party, and our guests. Let me tell you, this woman puts together one beautifully organized wedding timeline. Also, the site she uses to send your gallery makes it super easy to save, share, download, all the things you want to do with your photos. And I mean, the photos really speak for themselves. Brea and her team record the big hallmark moments and also the little moments that are easy to miss or forget but are part of what truly make up a wedding day. What I love about our wedding photos is that they look like no one else's wedding photos -- they are photos of _our_ wedding, capturing the unique love and spirit of us and _our_ community of family and friends. Looking at our photos helps me remember not only what happened on that beautiful whirlwind of a day but also how I _felt,_ which is the thing I never want to forget. Brea and her team captured our love, the story of our wedding day, and so much joy and laughter and happy tears. Our wedding was that much more magical for their being part of it, and I can't say 'thank you' enough times for the beautiful memories I have to look at and cherish.
Oh, and definitely spring for the photo booth. It was a blast, and you get to see all the photos from your friends after the fact, and it's a riot. You and your guests will both love it. -

We cannot say enough amazing things about Brea. Our engagement shoot and wedding experiences were comfortable and fun! Brea and her team captured every little moment - silly and emotional. Your search is OVER, book Brea! Brea did such an amazing job and aside from the end product being outstanding, the process was SO smooth. My big ask was to be quick with posed photos so we could get to the important parts (partying, obviously), and she made it happen seamlessly. I can literally feel the emotions in every photo. Aside from being an absolute artist and magician with a camera, she is so professional and kind. I can't say it enough - stop looking, you've already found the best there is with Brea. -

Where do I begin? My wife and I were absolutely blown away by her and her team!
When we first met, Brea went to great lengths to get to know us individuals and as a couple. She asked us specific questions about our story, our personalities, and our vision for the wedding. When she described her photography style as "photojournalism" with an emphasis on capture moments, we couldn't have been more excited! Suffice it to say, she and her team did not disappoint!
Our engagement shoots (which were two fold) included shots at a local gym and Baltimore's scenic waterfront. When our friends saw the photos, they were blown away. In fact, they called her the "light master" becuase she has total control of light. This is important becuase my wife and I were concerned about the variance in our complexion. However, Brea's work spoke for itself! She is totally a "master of light"!
Leading up to and on the day of the wedding, Brea made sure we had relevant permits for photography. She made sure she was clear on the schedule. She was extremely detail oriented and timely. Trust me when I tell you that her and her team do not miss a single moment - from my ugly crying, romantic glimpses, to goofy laughter, she is an invisible artiste!
In short, there are not enough words. In many ways, Brea was not just a photographer, not even just a photojournalist, but became a trusted extended member of our friendship circle. -

When we started planning our wedding, Brea was already on both our minds as the photographer we ABSOLUTELY needed to have for our wedding. We'd each attended weddings Brea had shot, and were absolutely in love with her work. After meeting and discussing our special day, we were delighted to find out how lovely, genuine, professional Brea was and the packages she offers are an amazing value.
In particular, we loved how Brea captures the liveliness and excitement of a wedding. Our posed couples photos and wedding party pictures were great, but the reception and ceremony pictures are what we keep coming back to. Looking through our album is truly like reliving the day over and over again -- we can remember the jokes behind each laugh, moments bringing each tear, and song playing for every dance move.
Brea and her team are TRULY talented and a must-have.

We had the privilege of working with Brea and her talented team for our wedding, and from the very start, we knew we were in excellent hands. Brea's wedding package includes an engagement shoot, and within minutes of our first session, we were convinced that we had made the right choice.
Brea's approach was not just professional but also incredibly easygoing. She had a remarkable way of making us feel comfortable and allowing us to be ourselves, which translated into the most natural and genuine photographs. It was evident that she valued capturing our true essence.
From that initial engagement shoot, Brea continually exceeded our expectations. On the day of our wedding, her team was nothing short of spectacular. They managed to capture every moment, every smile, and every heartfelt emotion without ever being intrusive. Hiring Brea as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made. Her vibe is exactly what you want on your wedding day - friendly, calm, and great at taking a million pictures of the wedding ceremony/reception without guests even realizing she is there. Her colleagues Jim and Brooke were also wonderful to work with.
A few days before our wedding, my father ended up in the hospital and we weren't sure whether he would be able to come to the wedding. We started making a tentative plan to have our ceremony at the hospital, and when I told Brea, she immediately asked where and when and said she would be there (even though the ceremony would have been outside of the time we had booked her.) She really is the best.
Luckily, my dad was able to come to the wedding and Brea beautifully captured how everyone felt as he spoke at our reception. Our wedding photos are absolutely stunning - we have received so many compliments from our family and friends. It rained (a lot) all day, and Brea made the most of it - finding great spots around the hotel for our couple's photos and taking truly magical shots of us in the rain at night.
She went above and beyond in every way. Hire her! Seriously! Do it now! -

My fiancé mentioned offhand that he knew a really great wedding photographer before we were even engaged. I started following her on Instagram and went down a rabbit hole on her blog, and I was instantly obsessed with her. I could tell that we had a lot in common, and I immediately wanted to make her my friend in addition to being our photographer.
Her talent simply blows me away. I love that her photos capture moments in time and really make you feel something when you look at them. They aren't overly posed, and that's what I really wanted for our wedding photography.
We had such a good time doing our engagement photos. Brea is just fun and easy to talk to. She never makes you feel awkward or uncomfortable, and we were just able to relax and have a good time.....and it shows in our photos. We love them so much.
She was also super helpful leading up to the wedding when I had random questions about veil lengths and vendor recommendations. Then she even fit us in right before the holidays to do a quick mini session with our dog for Christmas card photos.
The day of the wedding, Brea was so much fun to be around while I was getting ready. My fiancé and brother had a great time hanging out with her second shooter, Jim, and Brea's mom was an absolute gem, helping out with family photos, holding my bouquet, and making sure I didn't get my dress dirty before the ceremony. They worked so well with our dog, too, who can get a little noisy!
We got so many compliments from our guests about Brea’s whole team–how awesome Brea and Jim were and how wonderful Brea’s mom was running our photo booth (which was also a huge hit that we highly recommend!) Brea’s team stayed until our wedding ended at 10 PM, and she still sent us sneak peek photos that night!!! We got our full gallery yesterday, and the photos are amazing. We love every single one of them. I’m honestly not even sure how they got some of the shots they did–they truly were like silent ninjas during the ceremony–but every single one of the photos makes me smile.
There are not enough words or space to express how awesome Brea and her team are. Just do yourself a favor and book her the next time you need a photographer, but especially for your wedding. You will not be disappointed. -

Brea is truly one of a kind - just look at her photos and they speak for themselves. We found her after she photographed a friend's wedding, and once we saw the pictures we knew there was no way we would consider anyone else. In particular, we had a winter indoor wedding - and her indoor photos are truly unparalleled. We also love Jim who she often works with!! Amazing human, amazing photographer, do yourself a favor and book her if you can! -

I asked a lot of Brea and her team, and boy did they deliver! Brea took the photos for my 12/2022 wedding, and I don’t think I could’ve asked for someone better for documenting the big day. It was so easy to interact with Brea, her fiancée, and her assistant on the day of the wedding and they made sure they got all the photos I asked for and more. Casual intimate moments, getting in the thick of it on the dance floor, and those gorgeous stylistic photos that really showcase Brea’s talent as a photographer. They made us feel comfortable and captured memories I will treasure forever. It’s true what they say: do not skimp on wedding photography. We cannot overstate how critical Brea and her team were in helping us have the wedding we always envisioned.
It started with the engagement session, in which we grew comfortable with Brea as a person, her shooting style, and the general flow of posing for pictures (don’t forget hand in pocket!). This turned out to be an important piece, as we knew exactly what to expect come wedding day.
A couple months before the wedding, Brea helped us figure out a plan for what shots we wanted with family, how the procession would work, and how the day in general would unfold. She has an easy to use web portal to add all this relevant information, so there weren’t any frustrating emails back and forth! Brea also worked well with our wedding coordinator in a professional manner.
As the wedding date came near and we inevitably had tons of small questions / requests, Brea always answered us promptly and without judgement. She definitely understands what the couple goes through and has experience making the whole process as streamlined as possible.
On the wedding day, Brea and her team were on time and prepared. We knew we could count on Brea to take charge and make sure we got all the shots we were looking for. She even worked with us for some last minute family photo changes without hesitation. Brea and her team are seasoned photographers and it shows.
So, this leaves us with the most important piece - how are the photos? Let me just say this: My parents messaged me one day and said they were some of the best photos they had ever seen, and we couldn’t agree more. Everything from her style to post processing effects are absolutely stellar. I cannot overstate how well the photos came out.
If you’re looking for a fantastic photographer who will work with you throughout the entire journey and take charge when necessary, then look no further than Photography by Brea. -

Hiring Brea and her team to photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! She is personable, professional, and so easy to work with. She was always prompt to respond to us and was more than willing to set-up calls/Zooms if we had questions throughout the wedding planning process. Looking through our wedding photo gallery truly felt like we were reliving the day all over again- the amount of amazing moments and memories she captured is just incredible. We ended up not hiring a videographer and don't regret it simply because Brea captured every moment!!
Not to mention the quality of her photos is just unreal (even the photobooth pictures!), so colorful and vibrant. We got so many compliments from guests and other vendors saying they are the best wedding photos they've ever seen! 10/10 for Brea and her team in all areas possible!! -

Brea was so wonderful to work with. Leading up to the wedding, she would give her timeline advice and we trusted her and she was totally right with the timing and what we were looking for on our day. She sent out a couple different questionnaires leading up to the wedding to make sure she could give us what she wanted, and she came through. Both she and her second shooter, Jen, were both helpful and professional the whole day and knew the perfect places with the perfect sunlight for our pictures. They also helped bustle my dress! Brea helped make our day the best day and, with our coordinator, helped to keep our day on schedule. Brea got us a dozen photos to us the night of our wedding, a blog post with more photos a few days later, and our full album to us less than 3 weeks after our wedding. Her eye and photos are incredible and she’ll pretty much do anything (including nearly getting stuck on a raft in the Baltimore Harbor) to get the most amazing shots. You can tell she loves what she does and she does it so well!! -
