The photo booth was the star of the night. My guests absolutely loved it!! I had no problems or complaints whatsoever. The USB is great because it provide the photos in strip format as well as normal 4 x 6 format. The attendant did assure me that if for any reason I had a problem with the USB not to worry they do not delete the pictures and would be able to send me a new one. Fortunately I had no problem and would definitely recommend this company.
I absolutely would tell any bride NOT to use this vendor!!!! I had a nightmare experience with Perskie. First, when I called the week before the wedding to confirm, they told me the attendant would call me to confirm. I called again 2 days before, and was told that they had been dialing the wrong number (not my fault) and that I would hear from the attendant to confirm. Perskie then put the completely wrong wedding date on the strips that they gave out to guests (different month and day). The attendant started haphazardly cutting the dates off both the guest strip and the memory book strip!!! They looked awful and it held up the line all night. My guests described the attendant as "less then cordial." I dont think she smiled all night. So embarrassing for me!! The attendant didn't say one word to me about the mistake of the wrong date. I found out after I got back from my honeymoon. The USB that I paid for that I got at the end of the night had no photos on it. I called the manager multiple times with no response (told "I can't guarantee that he'll call you back today" several times). I emailed the manager with my complaints. I received no apology or compensation. The manager left me a message that he was going to be out the rest of the week...I called back the next week and was told he was on vacation all week...I was finally mailed another USB and strips with the corrected date (too late!). I am horrified with the way I was treated and the TERRIBLE product that they gave my guests!
I am Jay Perskie the owner of our company. I DID make a mistake on Tenley's wedding date that was printed on the bottom 1/4" of her photo booth images. The names were correct. She did receive as ordered a memory album where we take one strip of photos, glue it into the album and have the guest write a note to the couple as a memory for the couple to keep. We always cut off the date on the bottom of just those images since having the name and date under every image in the album does not look good and takes up unneeded space. Once Lena, our attendant was informed that the date was wrong, she also, at our instruction, cut the date off the bottom of the photo strips that the guests were being given. She rightfully did not inform that bride that night, as she was instructed, as it would have added nothing to her wedding day and just needlessly upset her to be informed of it and there was no way to correct the date at that time.
About 1/3 the guests received a 4 strip photo with the wrong date and the other 2/3rds with the date cut off. She was also presented with a USB drive with all the images at the end of her event. About 10 or so days after the event - early November, Tenley called to inform us that she was unhappy and wanted me to contact immediately her concerning the date problem and she also informed us that the USB drive did not work on her computer. I called her and left a message with my phone number within a day or two or on or about November 2nd or 3rd. On 11/12 I received an email telling me about her displeasure and I called again , maybe twice, and she was not there so I left a message(s) with my number again. A few days later I took my family to IL. for Thanksgiving and was gone all week. I realize that my holiday visit did slow down my ability to respond more quickly, but I did make a real effort. On my 1st day back I to emailed her instead of phoning her and put my phone number in it and said that I would be mailing her a new USB drive. I did apologize in that email in writing as we were not able to speak on the phone in my past attempts and saying so by email was my attempt to make sure she would know that. I also said that I would be making up a double set of all the strips with the correct date on the bottom for her to distribute which she mentioned in her remarks. The date error was again, my mistake. Everyone did receive a strip that came into our photo booth to take home that night and enjoyed their time in the booth and the pictures they took home and - yes - some had the wrong date on the bottom 1/4" of the photo and some had that wrong date cut off once it was pointed out to Lena. I tried to make good on this mistake as something like this is extremely rare to my company. Jay Perskie
We rented a photo booth from Perskie for our wedding and couldn't be happier! The photos came out really nice and the booth was run very smoothly. Such a great gift for guests! :) We would definitely us Perskie again!
Perskie provided a photo booth for my wedding reception, and it was such a great addition. It added a fun element, and since they print doubles, we kept one copy in a photo album they put together, and the other copy was for our guests to take home! What a great memory. The photo booth brings out the fun in folks, and Perskie did a great job with nice props to use (funny hats, boas, etc), and kept it running smoothly all night.
