Thank you Patisserie Angelica for making my wedding cake perfect!

We recently got married and I'm so glad we hired Patisserie Angelica to do our wedding cake. Condra was very easy to talk to, she listened to our needs carefully and worked a lot of effort to make it possible (we wanted a galaxy themed cake). She also explained patiently to us the difference between all the cake materials, and was very flexible when we changed our mind later. The wedding cake was perfect, both the taste and decoration. The only regret we have is we didn't save the top tier because we are not into the idea of freezing it, but little did we know, we didn't have time to enjoy our cake during our reception and the only bite I had was during the cake cutting. I couldn't stop regretting it so my husband and I have decided to go back to Patisserie Angelica on our anniversary to get the same cake again :)

The venue we had our wedding at did not provide dessert. Weird, I know. So we needed someone to take care of something that I didn't think was too big of a deal. I didn't want a big, elaborate wedding cake but I knew I wanted high end, delicious, fantastic, aesthetically pleasing desserts for our friends and family. Patisserie Angelica was everything I never knew I needed and more! Condra, the owner, and her team are amazing artist and I don't use that term loosely. I work at a very popular wedding venue in Napa so I certainly had my selection of vendors to choose from and I couldn't be any happier and confidant about the choice I made. There were things that I never even imagined I would have to think about, like what kind of platter would hand pies look better on and Condra was there for each and every silly email I sent with pictures asking her professional opinion about which plate would look best for which dessert. I literally had no idea what I wanted for our wedding sweets, I just knew I didn't want a huge wedding cake. I sent Condra many pictures of cakes and dessert stations I had seen and ideas I liked and she replicated them perfectly! Our venue wouldn't setup our dessert station so I reached out to Patisserie Angelica at the very last minute to see if they could come and actually place the desserts I had ordered on a table with my dishes and they didn't even hesitate to do it even though my wedding venue was almost 2 hours away from the shop! Not only that but when I was missing a cake stand for some items she lent me one at no cost! It is very rare in the world we live in to find people that care about other people and want to help. Whether you have the budget for a $3,000 cake or $600 for some dessert bites, there is no better pastry chef out there than Condra and Patisserie Angelica.

Patisserie Angelica is AMAZING! We were planning on just ordering a simple dessert through our caterer, but when we tasted Patisserie Angelica's desserts, we were hooked. The desserts are beautiful and delicious and the team does a wonderful job. They're organized and responsive and really go the extra mile to meet your requests. Can't wait to go back to Napa and visit them.

Our Wedding cake was a masterpiece, we wanted to picture our first home together, an apartment in the third floor with a nice view on the beach and Patisserie Angelica made it happen! The cake was not only beautiful but it was delicious! A combination of almond cake and fresh blackberries. Such friendly and professional people! This is for sure the best bakery in the Bay Area!

I always knew I would want Patisserie Angelica to make my wedding cake and they did a wonderful job! The cake and small desserts we ordered were so delicious and beautiful, we received many compliments. Patisserie Angelica made THE MOST delicious desserts for our wedding - and all gluten free! My husband has Celiac's Disease, and we decided really early that we wanted to do a dessert bar with lots of petite fours - and things that he could eat. Patisserie Angelica turned out the most delicious spread - 8 different gluten free desserts - and our guests ate all of them! I was really happy I had asked her to put aside a small box for us to enjoy the next day. This is just one of the many ways that they were incredibly considerate!!! Oh! and I also have to note that these desserts were made, delivered and all set up on a weekend that was undergoing a BLISTERING heat wave.

A few other things to note - basically everything that can possibly be organic or local is, and you can really taste the freshness in every bite.

PLEASE stop in to their shop if you're in the area - and definitely hire them!

Condra and the entire team at Patisserie Angelica was absolutely amazing! They were so kind to accommodate my last minute request for a beautiful wedding cake and were such a pleasure to work with the entire time. Being a wedding planner myself, I truly appreciate working with great vendors who not only provide a great product but who are friendly and genuine and Patisserie Angelica met and exceeded my expectations! I also ordered a cake for my one year anniversary and without hesitation, they took care of me and got a cake shipped out within two days (talk about fabulous customer service!) And, I have to brag on how beautiful and tasty our wedding cake was- absolutely to die for!!

We met with Condra, and she made everything so easy. She had plenty of styles to choose from, and so many options to taste. The cake looked gorgeous but also tastes amazing, and managed to stay moist even into the next day.

We ordered our wedding cake and dessert bar from Patisserie Angelica, and could not have been happier! We did tastings at three places (Patisserie, Sift, and Supreme Sweets) and Patisserie was a very clear winner. Their desserts are not sickly sweet - they are well crafted French style petit fours with complex flavors. Absolutely loved them.

We did a small cutting cake, and then a dessert bar with macaroons, mini cupcakes, fruit tarts, mexican wedding cookies, and chocolate bites. Our guests loved the variety and taste. They were also a pleasure to work with - two sisters who have been in the business for something like 30 years. Highly recommend!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I had an idea for a flavor profile (based on my favorite ice cream as a kid), and a lot of Pinterest photos of cakes, and one picture that was my absolute favorite. Condra was great to work with over email, and offered several different options as well as flavor, so I was able to feel confident in the final choice (since I was planning from out of town) As for the design, I was presented with sketches, and she left out no detail so the cake would be as personal and to my liking as possible.

The cake turned out absolutely perfect. I didn't think it would be possible, but it looked better (and still uniquely its own) than my perfect Pinterest cake, the colors and style looked absolutely perfect with the wedding. All of my guests told me it was one of the best wedding cakes they've ever had. The flavor and texture was amazing. They missed no details when creating our wedding cake, and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great tasting cake with style. THANK YOU!

My husband and I planned a destination wedding at Kenwood Inn & Spa. It was all sight unseen which was nerve-racking, but after speaking with Condra she put my doubts at ease. AH-MAZING! That is what I have to say about Condra at Patisserie Angelica. We met with her (LOVE HER) at her bakery in Sebastopol, and had our cake tasting and design session. I was a bit nervous when she had said on the phone "I don't really need you to bring pictures of what you want, because I don't copy other artist's work," so we went in not really sure of what we wanted at that point! Boy, are we glad that we let Condra be the artist that she is. She doesn't just want to copy a cake that you see in a bridal magazine, she wants to take different ideas and designs that you come up with together and make YOU your OWN cake for your wedding or event. I had then realized that pictures that I had seen on Pinterest and in magazines were totally lame compared to what she came up with for us. We chose 2 cake flavors which were absolutely organic, fresh, and divine.
Since we were engaged in Paris, we also had Condra make us macarons for after the ceremony. Pink and gold dusted, a giant tower of them- they were the talk of the party! Condra trained in Paris and she really knows her stuff. She is easily accessible via email and phone, her prices were expected for the amount of work and expertise go into her creations, they were delivered seamlessly, and my husband and I just all-around love her and her bakery. She even threw in some adorable and delicious Eiffel Tower cookies! We will absolutely be recommending Patisserie Angelica to others.....because she is truly an artist and a sweetheart.

Condra and Patisserie Angelica delivered exactly what we wanted: a delicate and skillfully done wedding cake (actually 2 of them!). We loved our whole experience with Patisserie Angelica, including/especially our cake tasting. Everything was delicious and Condra was so flexible in helping us to find the right option for our celebration. We did not have much of a wedding cake decor budget: the flavors were much more important to us than the look. But even with a very limited decor budget Condra delivered a cake that was absolutely delicious but also beautiful to look at. She was resourceful and so helpful in taking a pattern for our wedding and suggesting ways to cost-effectively mimic it on our cake design. Plus, her sugar flowers are small pieces of art. Just beautiful ... and did I mention: DELICIOUS! We would gladly and wholeheartedly recommend Condra and Patisserie Angelica!

Condra and her team are so fabulous. Not only was our cake fabulous - and boy was it - but the attentiveness and service is what set Patisserie Angelica apart for me.

My mom and I went to Sebastopol for one day only to meet vendors in advance of the wedding and the bakery was kind enough to let us know that we could stop by but they may not be able to accommodate a true consultation on the day we would be in town, which was fine by us. Despite how busy they were that day, Condra took the time to come sit with me and my mom and discuss our options. She took our order herself and gave us a very clear idea of how everything would look.

When we picked up the cake - and our order of chocolate truffles - Condra popped out and said hi and giving her congratulations. All of our guests loved the cake and the truffles. The food from Patisserie Angelica is to die for, but the attentiveness took the experience to a completely higher level.

Patisserie Angelica delivered the Most Beautiful and Sumptuous cake along with special deserts only to help an already wonderful reception increase to another level. Everything was so beautiful and elegantly displayed!! Loved the idea of desert station, and they truly are lacking in nothing in the way of French and Belgium delights!! Both sisters were such a pleasure to visit with as mother of the bride, and my daughter and finance had the greatest time at tasting with them!!! Loved everything about our choice, and Condra and Deb are wonderful pastry chefs and lovely women!!!! Lastly, they would not oversell, despite a truly open door to order more out of my concerns to have enough for the number of guests. Condra literally advised me to stay with smaller cake than to order larger one, which I was so willing to do. They operate a well known business and beloved in Wine Country! You will think you are in Paris in only the best ways!!!

We ordered our wedding cake and petit fours from Patisserie Angelica. We selected our pastries during the tasting which was very helpful. The cake was beautiful and looked just as drawn. Guests enjoyed it all and we had no issues. However you need to remember to order the cake & petit four plates from the caterer.

We originally had a hard time scheduling a cake tasting with Condra because of our tight schedule (planning the wedding from the east coast), but she was very accommodating once she knew we were serious about getting our cake done with her.

Consult:

The consultation was very helpful, as Condra guided us through the options (in terms of # of tiers and sizes). She also had albums with different cake designs, but in the end we went with a simple ombre in buttercream. She asked us to mail her a paint chip with the colour we wanted, so she could match it as closely as possible.

Taste:

The cake samples were all delicious, but we ended up with the chocolate chiffon cake with buttercream frosting. We had a hard time choosing fillings, and ended up with salted caramel, chocolate fudge, and white chocolate w/ raspberry preserves. We had toffee pieces added to the first two fillings and it was just incredible. Everyone raved about the cake, including one of our friends getting married in August who asked us for the bakery name.

We ordered a cake for 42, but only needed 36 servings. There was quite a bit left over, but I was happy to eat it for dessert the next two nights. Overall, I cannot recommend Patisserie Angelica enough!!

The sisters at Patisserie Angelica are both amazing creators and great to work with! I actually am in the Event Business myself and have had the good fortune to be involved with these gals on a number of occasions and time and time again, they put out a wonderful product! Something you can really count on as far as quality and originality goes, and depend on as far as delivery and set up. It is for all of these reasons that I hired them to do my own wedding cake/s in March and also my 50th birthday dessert last year! I just can't get enough of their sweet treats and am always inventing occasions to include them. Also….I can't forget to mention their creative mastery with my wedding cake decor. I was wearing this beautiful vintage hat for my wedding and they pretty much matched it (nailed it really with the dusty coral & peach colors) and created the exact same flowers in marzipan for the top of my cake! It was so beautiful and I have a photo with the hat & cake side by side that I wish I could show you. Bottom line: Patisserie Angelica Rocks! You can now end your endless search for that "prefect" patisserie baker, they are it!

Working with Condra and Debbie at Patisserie Angelica for our wedding cake and cupcakes was not only an utterly delicious experience but a FUN one too! They are true artists in the dessert department, and crafted a delectable wedding cake/cupcakes that was stunning on the outside as well. They work with you during your tasting to come up with the kind of cake you'll be dreaming about leading up to the wedding and that your guests will be raving about afterwards. We didn't have a very clear idea of what flavors of cake/frosting we'd want nor what we wanted our cake to look like, but Condra made things easy on the day of the tasting by letting us sample tons of options and sitting with patiently as we perused photos of others' cakes. She really encourages you to come up with your own design and not just select something someone else has had before, which makes the experience all the more fun and unique. Don't hesitate to go with them! You'll be glad you did.

Wow! Patisserie Angelica is amazing.My husband and I intially did not want a wedding cake because we are not really cake people, but my mom was devastated at the thouoght of not having a wedding cake. So, even though we live in Chicago, Patisserie Angelica mailed us overnight a frozen sampling of their cakes and they were amazing! They helped me design a beautiful traditional white cake with a pattern to match my lace wedding dress. Also, since we got married on my birthday, they made me an extra little birthday cake:-)

After seeing their beautiful cakes and desserts online and ogling their website, I worked with Condra at Patisserie Angelica to create a dessert table at my Auberge du Soleil wedding. We had a small cake along (one layer carrot cake and the other banana with fudge filling) with petit fours so our guests could try a variety of options! The cake for our elopement ceremony was beautiful AND delicious - vanilla bean buttercream with local raspberry filling and raspberries on top. I don't like fondant, but this fondant was delicious. The layers of cake had a unique, biscuit-like quality... unlike any other cake I've had, but tasty nonetheless.

What a fantastic place! I fell in love with this place as soon as we entered the door. The layout is so quaint and unique. Our wedding coordinator, Ali Diluvio introduced us to Patisserie Angelica as we planned our destination wedding. We flew in to sample the wedding cake options. I knew the deign I wanted and the colors so the easy part was done. Condra was so wonderful to work with and she helped me refine the design slightly and she was right! What a gorgeous cake! The difficult part was deciding on the actual cake. Each choice was heaven!! I let my husband choose the inside since I had dibbs on the outside. What a cake!! Not only was it gorgeous, it was delicious. We also had them do our mini-desserts for the dessert table since we were so pleased with the sampling.

Booking Condra (owner of Patisserie Angelica) to design our wedding cake was one of the most delicious decisions we have ever made! Patisserie Angelica made our wedding cake and some mini-desserts for our wedding. It was all incredible. I can honestly say that the cake (chocolate chiffon with raspberry filling) was the best cake that I have ever had in my life. And it was also beautiful! The mini-desserts that they made for us were fruit tartlets, lemon meringue tartlets, almond puffs, and fallen chocolate souffles. They were outstanding and I'm so glad that our caterer set aside a few for us so that we could enjoy them after the wedding. If you are planning a wedding in wine country, I can't imagine why you would get your cake from anywhere else.

I absolutely loved working w/ Condra & her team at Patisserie Angelica. I went there not knowing what type of wedding cake I wanted, and after some guidance & looking through their many, many pictures of cakes, I created what I wanted. They worked easily w/ my florist & other vendors so that it was delivered & decorated beautifully. I had 350 people at my wedding & ever piece of cake was delicious & beautiful. I would use them again, for any occassion.
PS. Their tasting appointment is a lovely memory my mom & I will share forever. The cakes, the tea & the ambiance. They really put a lot into their creations & it shows.

I cannot express how wonderful my experience was with Patisserie Angelica. From the moment I met Condra I knew she was the perfect person to create my dream wedding cake. She took all of my ideas and made them a more perfect reality than I could have imagined. I absolutely love bling and she managed to make me the most elegant wedding cake that my family and friends still talk about. We are from the South and traditionally have a groom's cake at weddings so Condra created the best replica for my husband of Spud McKenzie. He looked so life-like that his uncle tried to pick him up and take him home. He thought he was a stuffed animal and was amazed when he found out it was actually a cake. I would recommend Patisserie Angelica to anyone who wants a caring, eager person to fulfill your dreams of your perfect, delicious wedding cake.

The wonderful staff at Patisserie Angelica were great! They matched the cake and our wedding colors perfectly. They were so easy and fun to work with and the price was great. We did a cake tasting at another location only to find the cake seemed "store bought", the designs were blah, and the price was through the roof! I actually thought that Patisserie Angelica gave me the wrong price quote because for their amazing cake it was less than half the price of the other place! I still cannot believe price difference and the quality difference! Please I highly recommend Patisserie Angelica for your wedding cake, you will be so happy if you choose them!

Condra and Debbie at Patisserie Angelica did the cake for my wedding in July, and I couldn't have been happier with their work. Like everyone else says, their cake is absolutely amazing. It was by far the best wedding cake I've ever had, and all my guests said the same. And their custom design was remarkable. They designed my cake to mirror the unique patters of my dress, and everyone complimented their work. Their attention to detail and artistry truly made my wedding cake perfect. Even more important for me as a bride, Condra and Debbie were fantastic. They helped us with all sorts of non-cake related questions, and they were always prompt and responsive. I wanted individual birdcage cakes at my wedding to keep with the theme. Not cupcakes but an actual cake for each person. They made my vision into a reality while allowing my daughter and I to still remain gluten free (with an amazing inner cake called Cardinal Sin). Condra allowed my guests to pick the inside flavors of their cakes as well. They truly went above and beyond the call of duty on this dream for me and my new husband. I am still getting comments on how lovely my entire wedding was and how lovely those little personal birdcage cakes were. There are not enough words to thank you enough or properly.

Where to start, Patisserie Angelica and its co-owner Condra, were absolutely fabulous! They put together a small wedding cake (6 inch atop an 8 inch); a dessert bar that included numerous petit fours (fresh fruit tart, fallen chocolate soufflé, rustic parisien puff, mini cupcakes --coconut and vanilla bean with raspberry butter cream, and peanut envy (a must!), a selection of cookies -- Sonoma, O.D. and Lemon Thyme) for our wedding in July 2012. First off, the cake was beyond gorgeous and beyond our expectations -- as well as it was the most delicious cake we had ever tasted! The petit fours and cookies were seriously phenomenal. The design, flavor, and presentation were so far beyond our expectations -- each item was in itself a work of art. We are still hearing rave reviews about the desserts from family and friends. It was just incredible...there was a line at the dessert bar and all the desserts were cleared out before the night ended (and there were plenty -- that’s how amazing everything is.) The bakery also put together all of our thank you favors, full-size Sonoma cookies that were packaged in kraft bags with personalized stickers.

Condra was absolutely amazing to work with and we would highly recommend Patisserie Angelica! She was professional and so responsive throughout the entire planning process with any questions we had—big or small. Each dessert was a piece of art and the whole dessert bar, which she designed, looked stunning! The only thing I might recommend to future couples is to order extra desserts! They are so fabulous that guests will eat more than you would expect (and have them package a few for you to enjoy at home, since it’s hard for the bride/groom to enjoy the day of the wedding with all that’s going on).

We can’t thank Condra and Patisserie Angelica enough for helping to make our wedding day so special. We are already thinking about the order we plan to place of our wedding cake and some other treats, to enjoy on our anniversary!!

WOW! Our cake from Patisserie Angelica was perfect. We absolutely loved working with the fabulous Condra and Deborah. They gave us our perfect wedding cake. They worked with our florist to discuss which fresh flowers should be placed on the cake. Also, they did the most delicious mini macarons for our guests. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Paisserie Angelica. From start to finish, they were fabulous.
From the start, I knew that I wanted them to do our cake. I was very aware of their flawless reputation and their extensive background in wedding/celebration cakes. I used to live in CA but now reside in CO. Condra was extremely accommodating with our traveling schedule which was awesome and very helpful when trying to plan a destination Wedding. She fit us in for a tasting a few months earlier than is customary as that would be one of the only times my fiance and I would be in the area together. We were SO appreciative of that. Future communication was also flawless. phone calls, emails, and one additonal visit a few weeks before the Wedding~ they always responded and were happy to do so.
We had a non-traditional cake (suitcase and train case, as we LOVE traveling) and we just couldn't have been happier with it. We got so many compliments on it... many guests even doubting that it was a real cake. The cake was delicious, unique, and everything we envisioned. We knew that we had been listened to and that our cake was important to THEM as well. So valuable when something is so important.
We are glad we chose them. Condra and Debbie truly care, which was evident in every interaction with them. These are two very talented ladies who love what they do and it shows. I thank them from the bottom of my heart!

Having worked with Patisserie Angelica many times in the past, it was a no brainer to use them for my wedding cake. Not only are their cakes amazingly delicious, but they truly are artwork. Our tasting was private and very personal, my husband was blown away by how incredible everything tasted. They were easy to get a hold of during the planning process and even accomodated when I had a change of heart and wanted to change the design of my cake. The cake was better than I could have hoped and when that was all we had in our fridge when we returned home from our honeymoon, it was still just as tasty as on our wedding night. The ladies at Patisserie Angelica made deciding on our wedding cake fun, easy and exciting (I might even say it was a piece of cake). The shop is adorable, the staff is friendly and professional and best of all the cake is AMAZING! Every Patisserie Angelica cake that I've ever seen has been beautiful and unique. All their cakes are delicious, they have a variety of different flavors to offer so I am sure you will find many you like. I made a tasting appointment with Condra, and looked through a lot of wedding cake design samples but I did not see the exact design I wanted but Condra and I worked closely to create the look we wanted. I sent her my wedding invitation and she was able to create the same scroll work design from it and design my wedding cake by also incorporating my wedding colors. I loved my cake it was beautiful, everything was put together very nicely. I highly recommend Condra, she responded to my emails in a timely manner and I couldn't be happier.

We knew pretty much right away that we wanted to work with Condra and Patisserie Angelica. She is a total character, which I love, and her cakes taste AMAZING. I tasted other high-end cakes in the area and they were too sweet. Condra’s flavors are interesting and take advantage of great ingredients.
We decided to do a non-traditional wedding cake and it was fun to work with Condra. She understood what we were looking for and didn’t think we were crazy to pick a stack of books as our cake (it fit the theme of our wedding). In fact, she completely ran with it. At the 11th hour, we asked her to add even more to our cake. Even though she had 9 other cakes that day, she completely delivered. Our cake was exactly what we were looking for and we could not have been happier.
All of our guest marveled at the cake – both how it looked and how it tasted. Working with Patisserie Angelica was an excellent decision and I will definitely be ordering more cakes from them in the future.

What can I say - these people know what they're doing! We had two dramatically different cakes at our wedding - one fondant and one buttercream - they both were amazing! Not only did they look just stunning, but the taste was so fresh. They even provided "take home" boxes for the folks who were too stuffed to have cake, or for the leftovers. One of the best moments of our wedding planning was cake tasting at Patisserie Angelica. They were really busy the day we came in but we were whisked away to a private room were we had tea and cake. We were worried that things might feel rushed but when we met with Condra we realized that there was no need for concern. She was not only friendly but gave us her full attention and was happy to help us design our perfect cake. Of course we wanted a pretty cake but the most important thing to us was how it tasted and their cakes are DELICIOUS! I asked my wedding coordinator who should I go to for a gorgeous wedding cake that tastes equally amazing and she recommended Patisserie Angelica. It was the best wedding cake I have ever tasted! The staff is happy and professional and the cake is one of the only things of our big day that turned out exactly how I imagined. I've seen many beautiful wedding cakes that tasted awful because none of them were from Patisserie Angelica. They use fresh ingredients and have years of experience that definitely paid off. Ok. Patisserie Angelica matched the adornments on our cake to a paint chip I provided them. They perfectly duplicated the decorations from my dress (which were complicated!) and put them on the cake. The top layer was chocolate with mocha ganache, and the bottom was almond with dried apricots and vanilla custard. It was the best wedding cake I had ever tasted. And so very beautiful. They were very personal, remembering who I was when I called out of the blue at one point. Spent a lot of time helping me design my dream cake. What more could you ask for? Looks great, tastes great, easy to work with. And I thought, for what I asked them to do, very reasonable.

So, so good!!! My wife and I got wedded at Sebastiani Winery in Sonoma. Neither of us are big dessert people, but we knew all of our guests would hate us if we didn't have some sort of "cake", so we decided to go the cupcake route. Patisserie Angelica - even though they're typically big cake people - makes AMAZING little cakes!!!

We wanted black and white treats, but we didn't just want plain ol' chocolate and vanilla. So, what did we end up with, other than heaven on your palette? Our "black" treats were chocolate beet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and white chocolate shavings on top. Our "white" treats were coconut-vanilla cupcakes with chocolate fudge frosting and milk chocolate shavings on top. They were AMAZING. And they didn't even come close to breaking the bank.

Patisserie Angelica was wonderful.
Condra was helpful in helping us plan the dessert table for our wedding in May. My husband has Celiacs and everything had to be gluten free. Not only did she help with picking out the right desserts but also with the types of platters we should rent to make the dessert table amazing and beautiful. She was also super flexible given our work schedules when planning a visit for a tasting prior to the wedding. Our guests loved the dessert and still comment on all the tasty treats months later. I highly recommend Condra and her staff at Patisserie Angelica.

We used Patisserie Angelica for our wedding, the cake was AMAZING! Seriously multiple guests at the wedding commented to me that this was one of the best cakes they had ever tasted. I went with a simple vanilla cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting - and my husband and I both agree that it was one of the best cakes we've ever eaten. It was not too sweet which I loved. The cake was so beautiful and simple, which was exactly what I wanted. I am from Denver, so I wasn't able to go in for a cake tasting before the wedding, so it was a great surprise to have such a wonderful tasting and incredibly beautiful cake for our wedding day!

YUM. Patisserie Angelica makes the absolute most delicious wedding cakes I have ever tasted. I had several friends who chose Patisserie Angelica for their wedding cakes, and I had purchased cakes from them for birthdays and other special events.

The wedding cake that Patisserie Angelica made for us was really fantastic. All of our guests loved it. The cake was really beautiful. A good friend of our was celebrating his 70th birthday at our wedding, and the ladies at Patisserie Angelica arranged for a small birthday cake for him which was wrapped like a birthday gift. He loved it so much that he is still talking about that cake, nearly 3 years later!

Honestly, their cakes are probably the most expensive in this area, but they are worth every dime because they are so delicious and beautiful too.

Their cake is pricey $11 or so per person; but I have never had such good wedding cake. There was zero cake left over at the end of the reception; and there was dessert included in the lunch buffet menu.

We had a fabulous experience with Patisserie Angelica! Our cake was delicious. We had 3 flavors - Vanilla with passionfruit filling, chocolate beet with chocolate filling, and coconut cake with lemon filling - in our 4 tier cake. All three flavors were outstanding and our guests enjoyed all of it. We worked closely with Condra who initially set up a wonderful cake tasting for us and helped us come up with a cake design that fit with our wedding vision. Condra also worked closely with our florist to decorate the cake with seasonal flowers so the cake tied in well with the rest of our decor. Our guest count came in much lower than expected. Patisserie Angelica was great about handling the change in quantity and quickly adjusted the cake size and cost. I cannot wait for our 1 year anniversary so we can enjoy the top tier of our Patisserie Angelica cake!

Condra created the most amazing Groom's cake for us! I wanted her to create a cake using the three labels from my husband's wine company. We were getting down to the wire and I still had many items on my to-do list, so I gave Condra very little instruction. I simply sent her the labels and told her to create a cake with wine bottles. She took the little help I gave her and created a masterpiece! The cake was beyond my wildest dreams! It was so realistic looking that people kept touching the wine labels, because they couldn't believe it was a cake. I am pretty sure this cake was the most photographed item at our wedding and we have received so many comments about how everyone loved it! And, the cake was delicious to boot! Condra is a dream to work with and will exceed your expectations!

My wedding cake and peti fours were amazing! We ordered the Lemon Tart, Red Velvet Mini Cupcakes, Cardinal Sin, and Butterscotch Pudding. Our wedding cake was vanilla bean with two layers of raspberry and one layer of chocolate fudge. Everything tasted delicious! My husband's only regret for our wedding was he didn't get to eat enough desserts because they ran out. :) I will definitely be ordering our anniversary cake and desserts from Patisserie Angelica every year!

The ladies at Patisserie Angelica are true professionals! They know what they are dong but are flexible for your wants and boy do they deliver. We made two different cakes thinking guests would want one slice or the other...but everyone wanted one of each and loved them. To this day my sister tells me she dreams of our cake!

We had both a brides cake and a grooms cake. Everyone commented on not only how beautiful the cakes were, but how good everything tasted. The bakers were so easy to work with too. They really love what they do, that is for sure! Highly recommend using this bakery for any occasion.

As the mother of the bride, I was in charge of finding the cake. The couple lives in New Zealand, and I live in New York, so it all had to be done by e-mail. PA was recommended by another bakery as I wanted a cake made from scratch, no mixes or boxes. We picked the chocolate 3-tier wedding cake, with chocolate fondant covering and a made-from-scratch raspberry filling. We had lots of e-mails back and forth, and I found Condra very responsive and easy to work with. It was delivered on time, and they stayed with the cake until it was properly set up by the pool and all the kids were out of there. It looked lovely, with the simple New Zealand ferns in white chocolate fondant that the groom had requested. We ended up with less people at the wedding that we expected, so there was enough cake for seconds (lots of guests came back for that), and we even had enough for brunch the next morning. It was a pricey cake (about double a standard cake made with mixes), but the enjoyment we all got from it was totally worth it. The bride and groom were thrilled!

Great group of people work here. The cake was fantastic, the design process was fun and we couldn't have been happier with the way our cake looked. We highly recommend this place for your wedding cake or just some pastries on the weekend.

Condra and her team are amazing at what they do!! Our wedding cake and groom's cake tasted absolutely delicious and looked PERFECT! Our wedding was a destination wedding in Napa Valley, so she shipped us different cake samples so that we didn't have to fly all the way across the country to do a tasting - very accommodating! I'm gluten-free, so we did one layer of our cake gluten free and it was SO good! Our guests loved it too (and had no idea it was missing gluten). The BEST part was our groom's cake - my groom loves wine and she was able to design a cake that looked JUST like a bottle of wine nestled in a wine box. It looked unbelievable! Most of our guests thought that it was a real bottle of wine!! Highly recommend!

the cakes are very high quality artisan cakes and they taste absolutely delicious. everyone at the patisserie is extremely friendly and great to work with, their cakes look beautiful, and they offer a great value. they are much stronger with fondant than buttercream as far as cake design goes.

I really liked Patisserie Angelica's cake - truly delicious creations, and exactly what I wanted.

Communicating with them was easy enough, but a little slow on some responses.

I ordered a 2 tier chocolate square cutting cake and mini pies & tarts for my guests. we had 40 guests and ended up with a $700+ bill. It was very delicious and on par with comparable current pricing, but I felt it was lacking on the value. I would have liked to see a complimentary small cake for our 1-year or something to feel like I got my money's worth.

What turned me off was that they didn't have a stand for my cake - I brought my own from home, and that they charged extra for square vs. a round cake. Not huge deals, but something that stuck with me.

Overall, Patisserie Angelica was professional, timely, and delivered on what mattered. I would use them again - as long as I'm not paying :)

Patisserie Angelica DELIVERED THE WRONG BACK-UP CAKE on my wedding day. The fall of 2008 we tasted many cake vendors in the area and ultimately chose Patisserie Angelica because we were so impressed by their chocolate beet cake, and the almond cake. We ordered a two-tier wedding cake, with a 12" base of the almond cake, an 8" top tier of the chocolate beet, and a 10" back-up of the chocolate beet. PA is much more expensive than other bakeries in the area, but we selected them because we felt the two flavors we chose were superior to anything else we had tasted.

I had told all of our family and friends about the beet chocolate and almond cakes, and I even chose not do do a beet salad (my favorite!) as an appetizer because with the beet cake I thought it would be too much beet. After the first round of cake had been served, I noticed waiters coming out from the back with trays of a white cake with a red, fruit filling. I asked the waiters where they got this cake and they said it was the back-up cake delivered by PA. By the time my husband and I were eating cake, all the beet cake was consumed, and we were stuck eating someone else's wedding cake on our wedding day.

The disappointment of having the wrong cake at our wedding was bad enough, but to add insult to injury Condra at Patisserie Angelica was not as concerned by the huge mistake she made as we felt she should have been. When we first met her we were a little put off by her ego, but figured it didn't matter because one doesn't typically have that much interaction with the cake vendor. We never got the sense from her that she appreciated our business, which we felt was the case with our other vendors. Rather, we always felt as though she knew her cakes were fantastic, and we could take her or leave her, but she could care less either way.

I called Condra to tell her about the cake mix up and she apologized and offered to reimburse me for the back-up cake (which cost $150) and provide me with a chocolate beet anniversary cake. I don't live in the area and told her I was not going to drive to Sebastopol for a cake, so she offered to send a cake via UPS at a time when I would be having a party. While I do appreciate her attempt to rectify the situation, I told her that I felt she should reimburse me for the entire cake, not just the back-up cake. The whole reason we hired PA was for the chocolate beet cake, and as it turned out we only got 18 servings of that cake. If we were going to get a vanilla cake with fruit filling I would have hired Michelle Marie's in Santa Rosa, whose French basket cake is better than PA's vanilla cake at almost half the price. Condra said that she is human and can make a mistake, and then lectured me that when you punish a child, the punishment must fit the crime, and she didn't feel that reimbursing me for the entire cake was appropriate. I could tell that she wasn't going to budge so I dropped it and accepted the reimbursement and promise of a future beet cake being sent to me.

If the cake had accidentally been dropped, or the driver had gotten in a car accident on the way to the venue, I would agree that accidents happen and would not hold PA at fault. If it had been a simple accident I would be happy to accept the reimbursement for the back-up cake along with the new cake being sent via UPS. However, not only did PA deliver the wrong back-up cake, but the cake box actually had a bright turquoise Post-it note with the other bride's name written in Sharpie. In my opinion, this was not an honest mistake or an accident, but negligence. Due to the fact that this error was based on negligence, I feel that PA should have graciously reimbursed me for the entire cake (approx. $700). Condra also had the nerve to imply that I somehow lucked out, because the wrong back-up cake that was delivered was 12" and I had only paid for a 10" back up cake. My interpretation of her attitude was that she feels that all of her cakes are so amazing, that it's not that big of a deal that I got a different cake than I ordered.

I was also very disappointed with how the cake was decorated. The placement of the flowers and small pears on the cake seemed haphazard. The florist had left the flowers at the venue, to be arranged by PA when dropping off the cake. The placement of the cake decorations looked very rushed and I was disappointed by the overall look.

In sum, if I had it to do over I would not hire PA. The cakes are delicious, but Condra has such a huge ego she is unwilling to take full responsibility for her own negligence, negligence that caused me a lot of upset on the day of my wedding. My husband and I ate someone else's wedding cake on our wedding day, and for that I feel Condra should not make a profit off my wedding. As it stands now Condra has reimbursed me for the back-up cake and issued me and IOU for an 8" square chocolate beet cake. I hope that PA will institute a standard operating procedure in which they double check the cake before dropping it off, so that this does not happen to any other bride and groom on their wedding day. Considering the other bride's name was right there on the box it would have been easy enough to double check.

Left this bride feel unimportant disappointed

My fiancé and I came for a cake tasting - having booked well over 2 months in advance. We were so excited but left disappointed. Sorry for the long post.

We were called the day before to see if could move the date from Sat to Fri - unfortunately we couldn't and when we replied such, we were advised that it would be ok. I wish they would have told us why they were trying to reschedule. Because we would have moved the date… we just couldn’t meet on a Friday.

After driving over 2.5hrs we get to the shop -super cut by the way! – We walked in and waited or turn in line. A couple came in behind us and the host asked them if they were there for hi-tea and then turned to us and asked if she could seat them first. I said no problem – but when they asked if they could use the room where the tasting occurred, the hosted advised them that room was reserved for a cake tasting and she was waiting for them to arrive. I interrupted and said, yes that is us. She didn’t even ask how to help us even though she clearly knew we were there first – and waiting. Once she realized that she seated us first. I am thinking she didn’t think we were the couple because we have our daughter with us and that maybe we were in there to just order baked good. I am not sure why customers are treated differently when they walk in.

I was a little put off by that but tried not to let it bother me – things happen. I wanted to make the best of this experience. After we were seated, we were told that someone would be right with us. The baker came in and told us that she was covering for the person – I think the owner – because she was at the festival serving her Mediterranean food. That baker was super sweet but really just gave us a plate of cakes and waked away. We couldn’t share our design ideas, ask questions about pricing or delivery. We were instructed to call the owner on her cell later. Honestly, we didn’t know who we were meeting, and they could not have said anything – I wouldn’t have known the difference.
I felt really slighted. First by being overlooked by the host and then by the owner for choosing to work at the festival and not work with potential clients. And to top it off, the whole reason we came was because they made tiramisu cakes – they made us pay extra to taste it. And it wasn’t even good – couldn’t taste the coffee at all.

All of these things were minor and normally would have bothered me so much but combined they really painted a picture that didn’t sit well with me. This situation could have been handled so much better, and various times.
- When you call to try and reschedule you can say that unfortunately something came up and we can’t meet the date and try to find out another time that would work
- Serve customers in the order they come in
- Maybe don’t tell potential clients that a food festival is more important than their wedding cake.
- Have someone work the festival for the hour it took for the tasting.
