My son got married in NOLA and I threw the guest a welcome to NOLA cocktail party at Pat O’s on the River. Jennifer Green, sales rep was absolutely amazing to work with. She went above and beyond all expectations! The staff that worked the cocktail party were nothing short of great professionalism! Every guest had a wonderful time and enjoyed the cocktails as well as the great food! I highly recommend this venue for any kind of function. You will love having Jennifer Green assisting you in your plans.

Ms Green was great from day one. They worked with us to have our reception . My heart was set on there venue but I didn’t meet the number of guest for Pat o on the river . Ms Green and I were able to arrange a day menu and my guest minimum lowered and we agreed pay for that many although we didn’t have that amount of guest. The reception was perfect . The staff did a superb job. Anthony was my day of event planner and he was just perfect . To be frank the whole staff was perfect . We had some mishaps with our ceremony and our dj ran late due to heavy traffics (bayou classic ) they went up and beyond to get us back on track . It all turned out perfect.

Our sales contact, Jennifer has been an absolute pleasure to work with. My husband and I were a destination couple from Connecticut and were nervous selecting vendors (especially our reception venue) on photos and reviews alone. Jennifer was so responsive to every question I had (and there were a lot of them), she was also so accommodating to every request we had. When we got to New Orleans to drop off our decorations and misc. items Jennifer showed us around the space and helped us visualize how it would look the day of the wedding. We were definitely not disappointed! The space was incredible, we were in the Promenade room, which in the photos honestly looked a bit small, but seeing it in person was a whole other ball game. The views of the Mississippi River were amazing during the day and even more so at night.

The night of the reception when we entered the venue, we were blown away how they transformed the space to exactly how Jennifer had described to us previously. Everything looked amazing. Our bridal coordinator, also named Jennifer, was absolutely incredible. She met us on the street when we rolled up with our Second Line Parade and led us to the space. As soon as we entered the room she swept us away into the bridal suite and got us drinks and a ton of food- we honestly could not eat it all! She made sure that we were taken care of with food and drink not only at the beginning, but throughout the reception. We continuously would put down our drink to take photos/converse with guests and would always end up losing our drinks, Jennifer was on top of it and would always have a new one ready for us.

The guests had nothing but rave reviews about the staff and the incredible food that they prepared for us that night.

The only minor complaint that some guests were commenting on, was that at the end of the night it did not ease down- it was a hard stop at 9:15 pm (understandable, since that is the time we had the space until) but that the police officer on-site was a bit brash in having people stop and exit the premises. I honestly think it was simply that the night went by so quickly, that they weren't aware that it was time to leave. It did not by any means ruin the night, we kept the party going afterwards.

All of our guests that we've spoken to have stated that this was the best wedding they have ever been to, and I feel that Pat O's played a huge part in that. I would highly recommend them to anyone else looking to get married in New Orleans.

I could not have been more pleased with the food, the venue, and above all the people that worked with us. From the first contact until the end of the night, everyone treated my daughter and her fiancé/husband as if they were the most special people on the planet and their night was the most important event that had ever been planned!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pat O's on the River was the perfect place for our wedding reception! Although I grew up in New Orleans, I don't currently live there, so it was really hard to actually be in town to see/do anything...Jennifer was AMAZING! She responded to emails quickly, called me if she needed me, answered ALL of my questions...and was just all around awesome! She made the planning process so much easier. The Grande Terrace was a beautiful location for our reception! Our guests loved looking out over the river. The bar was fabulous - having an open bar without having to worry about what drinks to offer, how much people drank, etc. was awesome. And the food...the food was incredible! The boudin balls were my favorite! But everyone loved the food! No one went hungry, not even us. It was just great. Pat O's on the River has the all-around best package - great coordinator, beautiful location, great food, awesome drinks, & great space. I don't regret having our reception here for a second. Thank you, Jennifer!!!!

We have always loved Pat O’s in New Orleans, especially the piano bar, and were thrilled to have our wedding reception at Pat O’s on the River. The reception venue nicely incorporates elements of Pat O’s and of New Orleans (you cannot beat the view of the Mississippi River from the venue’s balcony). We cannot say enough about how easy Pat O’s was to work with, and while I feel this is rare in weddings, it is a great value considering everything that is included in their wedding packages. The service in general is outstanding. Working with Jennifer was like having a wedding planner, which was important as I lived about six hours away from New Orleans. Jennifer offered so many suggestions, was always quick to respond to emails or phone calls, and even reached out to many of my vendors to coordinate details. A couple of days before the wedding, we simply dropped off the items we wanted to use for decorations, talked with Jennifer about how we wanted it set-up, and she took care of everything after that, including re-boxing everything up for us to take home after the wedding. On the day of the wedding, our bridal coordinator made me and my husband feel so at ease. She took us to a separate room where we were given time to relax, eat and have a drink before making our grand entrance at the reception. She even helped me fix a few tears in my dress from the second line and checked on us often to see if we needed drinks, etc! Trust us, if you want to have an amazing wedding that you can enjoy, Pat O’s is the perfect option.

We have eaten at the restaurant and to be able to have our wedding right above it is so exciting, and the price is unbelievable for such a great location.

Pat O's on the River was a dream come true for our wedding. We planned a destination wedding and I never had to worry about a single thing. Jennifer Green helped us plan our reception. We flew down for a menu tasting and it was all exceptional. she made everything so easy and helped with important decisions. They set up our decorations better than I ever could. The best part was that they include everything! It was helpful for me that they included the centerpieces, cake, food and drinks. They knew exactly how to coordinate everyone for the sparkler send off and it went 100% perfect. They are so organized and professional. The servers and bartenders were so fun and even danced with us to keep the party going! Our day of coordinator made me feel like a princess. She brought me and my husband food and drinks because we were always talking and unable to sit down. She carried our Mardi Gras beads as we passed them out to guests to make sure we spoke with everyone. She and the whole team truly went above and beyond and everything was flawless! I didn't even know that was possible but they are so good at their trade. Highly recommend to anybody but especially if you live out of town! I wish I could do it again!

It's going to be so hard to convey just how much we LOVED using Pat O'Brien's on the River for our ceremony and reception! Jennifer is so great to work with. She reached out to our florist, bakery, DJ and photographer to assist in set-up processes. She was there for the wedding, too, and brought along an assistant for the day to make sure that my husband and I were never in need of anything! They noted our favorite drinks and made sure that we never had an empty glass, and before the reception started, they both made sure that my husband and I were able to eat and try all of the food (which was so delicious) and enjoy a moment of peace before we entered the party. Additionally, the atmosphere has so much character and was absolutely perfect. I especially loved the copper-top tables and wrought iron details. This was a destination wedding for most of our friends, and they were in awe of the riverboats and streetcars going by outside. It was also wonderful to have a bar on the inside and on the nice covered patio outside, too, for everyone to enjoy. Thank you, Pat O'Brien's on the River, for making our wedding day PERFECT!

Jennifer was the best wedding coordinator. Our wedding was the best wedding of the year. We had guests from London, St. Thimas, Tenn. Ga. North Carolina. Everyone enjoyed the wedding. The food and drinks were outstanding. We are planning another party soon.?

The most stress free I could have imagined. After I chose the outside vendors, they took care of coordinating times, and setup with everyone for me. The entire event went so smoothly.

Pat O's hosted our wedding reception this past summer. From when we booked until the night of, every piece of planning the night was easy and a great experience. The location is gorgeous, with views of the River. The food is delicious, and as expected from Pat O's, so are the drinks. I live outside the area, while my Mom is in the city, and they were very responsive and helpful via e-mail and in person. They were flexible as we decided upon the details of our multi-cultural reception, and accommodated all of our vendors (band, live artist, and photo booth). With all of the included pieces (cake allowance and flowers), it made planning even less stressful. Libby was a great coordinator the night of, taking care of all kinds of little details and making sure we were comfortable and having fun. I cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about Pat O's. We wish we could get married every summer so we could work with them again!

We used Pat O's on the River for our reception and it was AMAZING! The food was great and the space, views, and price can not be matched. The staff was very professional (thanks Brett!) and made everything run so smooth but at the same time I didn't feel like I was just another bride. All of my guests raved about this place!

We held our reception at the Pat O'Briens Brier Suite. It's beautiful and is perfect for a small wedding reception. Throughout the entire process of planning and getting everything together, Jennifer with Pat O's was absolutely wonderful. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner. The staff was great throughout the night and they took care of cleanup for us as well. I'm told the food was delicious. (I fell victim to the bride not getting to eat much.) I did get one of the crawdad bites and it was delicious! I should have grabbed more! I would definitely say you can't go wrong with Pat O's. I'm so glad I went with them. My stress level could have been much, much, higher. Everything was a breeze. They coordinated with my baker and DJ so that I didn't have to do it. They also let my photographer set up early with me when I was setting up the flowers. A ++

We had our wedding reception here and there are not enough words to describe how great they were to us. From the first meeting to the night itself, they were very professional and beyond helpful. They set up everything for us that we dropped off (better than we would have!) and took care of us all night. My drink never got less that 1/2! The view is gorgeous, the venue fabulous and the service is wonderful!

Jennifer was a dream to work with! She was very quick to respond to all questions, and took care of contacting the vendors for our catering, flowers, and cake. We were planning the wedding from out of state, but thanks in large part to Jennifer and her team, the night proceeded perfectly, and all our guests seemed very happy. The food was delicious, the venue location was great (right on the river, with a nice view), and the pricing was very reasonable, especially given that an open premium bar was included in the catering package. The inside also had lots of character; we didn't have to do much decorating to make it look great. Overall, we'd wholeheartedly recommend Jennifer and Pat O's as an amazing place to hold a wedding ceremony and reception!!

Great venue and so much fun! Great New Orleans character and balcony over the river was beautiful. Food and drinks were fantastic.

We were very happy with our reception at Pat O's on the River. Brett was great to work with during all the planning. The space worked really well for our amount of guests, and the balcony was a big hit with everyone. It was packed all night thanks to the great weather we lucked out with. Nobody could complain about the bar at Pat O's, and the food was surprisingly very good too. Things could have gone more smoothly when the reception was over as far as getting all the food and cake to my parents to take, but as the bride, I had no complaints!

The entire staff at Pat O'Brien's was amazing, they really made our wedding day stress free. Everyone in attendance had a great time and commented that it was the best wedding they had every attended!

Seriously amazing!! We held our rehearsal dinner here and it was perfect. From the initial meeting to the night of, everything was smooth and executed wonderfully. The food was awesome and the staff was great! The views are beautiful and the staff provided everything we needed for the toasts.

I definitely recommend Pat O's On The River for your wedding. Jennifer, the primary contact there, was so great and so helpful - we truly felt like we were in a professional's hands, and she was extremely patient and responsive with all of our questions, and requests to check out the venue a couple times ahead of the wedding. She was also great at talking us through various options for the band, the second line, table set up, etc, and letting us know what she had seen work best in the space.

Pat O's in general were very flexible the weekend of our wedding with when we could drop off items, or when the band could start setting up etc. The day-of, there were a few kinks - we had talked about arriving up the escalator, but ended up going up the outdoor stairs, which sounds lovely until you are unable to walk up the stairs in your wedding dress! Not a big deal in the scheme of things, but just be sure to confirm and document all of the details in case Jennifer is not the manager on duty your night. The service was great the night of - both for the guests, and for the bride/groom, as they constantly refilled our drinks/water, and brought us a sampling of all of the food to eat when we first got there (as well as packing up a to-go box of food, and of the cake).

The value for such a convenient and beautiful location in the french quarter can not be beat - even with upgrading to the slightly higher priced menu, it was still less expensive than many of the other options we looked at. In addition, they include things such as a cake allowance and reception flowers, which add to the value even further. Our guests had a great time!

We held our son's rehearsal dinner at Pat O's on the River in October. The venue was perfect for our needs: convenient location, a huge, nicely decorated room, and a beautiful patio overlooking the river. The food was wonderful; our guests are still raving about the New Orleans specialties Pat O's prepared for us. The best part of this amazing night of celebration was the service we received from Jennifer Green and her staff. We live in Virginia and had to use phone and email to organize the dinner. Jennifer was so very helpful every step of the way. She returned phone calls and emails promptly, and was a great source of information on the city and other services we needed for our event. The service staff at the dinner was efficient and professional, taking great care to serve food and drinks quickly. The evening could not have gone better!

The food was excellent, the drinks were premium, and the view was amazing. Our guests had a wonderful time and so did we.
